Speaker 1 (00:00):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe LaVar Arrington, Brady
Quinn Jonas knocks and coming up on the show, the
Kansas City Chiefs Are they back? They are now all
of a sudden a real threat in the a f C. Again,
You've got another real threat in the a f C
before the season that's not playing like it right now.
You've gotta take over at so far Steeler fans all
over the place in a great game on Sunday Night Football.

(00:22):
You've got the game of the day in the NFC North,
a coach who could be on the hot seat already,
a prop bet monster issues in Las Vegas, and we've
got a quarterback coach combo that could be coming to
an end. All of that is coming up next here
on the Monday edition of Two Pros and a Cup
of Joe LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas knocks. And you
here on FS are you're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

(00:51):
It feels like we've been here before in the NFL.
And we will tell you what's involved, whose teams are
involved in this conversation, why things look exactly the same
as they did a couple of years ago, And we'll
do that all coming up here in just a couple
of moments from now. It's two pros and a cup
of Joe. Here on Fox Sports Radio. It's LaVar Arrington,
It's Brady Quinn, It's Jonas Doctor here on fs ARE.

(01:13):
You can hang out with us as always on the
I Heart Radio app. You can find us on hundreds
of Fox Sports Radio affiliates and wherever you are making
us a part of your Monday morning, we appreciate you
doing so. It is a holiday week and we will
take you all the way up until nine am Eastern times,
six o'clock Pacific right here on Fox Sports Radio. How
are we feeling on the Monday boys? With a busy
NFL weekend? It's a holiday week. Yeah, it's a holiday

(01:36):
week right, one that LaVar and I are kind of
already looking past. But Jonas, I'm sure you're really excited
for your ducking or whatever the hell you eat. You know,
I just learned. I learned what a tur ducan was
like two weeks ago. I thought it was a six
I thought it was a six legged turkey. I didn't
know that it was a turkey, a duck and chicken combined,

(01:57):
by the way, and running. There we go the innu
and running, folks. That is the that's the face of
big new kickoff. There. Guys areas class act through and through.
Brady Quinn starting off a Monday with together just a

(02:20):
tool and a half. It's unbelievable. Wait a weekend. Yeah,
all right, So the Kansas City Chiefs don't don't look now,
but the Kansas City Chiefs feel like they're back. That
was the game of the weekend, the Chiefs and the Cowboys. Uh.

(02:44):
The offense didn't look all that hot for Kansas City,
but the defense got it done. And here we are, Uh,
the Chiefs and Patriots are high a top the a
f C standings. This feels like we've been here before,
Brady Quinn, just a couple of years ago. Uh. And
then they're doing in different ways, right Like obviously you've
got Mac Jones leading the way for the New England Patriots.
And we'll get into that a f C East and

(03:06):
what that What the hell has happened in that that division?
But it's it's the defense now that you're seeing start
to step up. The Chiefs are finding a different way
of doing it offensively, you know, kind of taking not
digging and dunking, but finding the soft spots on the
zone coverages and methodically working down the field and saying, look,
we'll settle four field goal. You know, we have no

(03:27):
problem doing that because we can feel like we can
rely on our defense. I don't know so much though,
if it was the improvements of the Canda See Chiefs
defense or the Cowboys just laying an egg offensively. I'm
gonna be real, Dac missed. I mean, there were some
throws that weren't even in the zip code, especially earlier
in that game, and I thought to myself, is he nervous?

(03:48):
Like like some of those throws looked like it was
he had a little too much juice on them, and
like he he was kind of feeling like he knew
how big of a game this was. You got that sense.
And it wasn't like there was pre sure because there wasn't.
It was one on one opportunities. It was press man
to man coverage, It was a go route down field,
and three separate times, three separate times, the ball wasn't

(04:11):
even close enough where you could have said, I mean
it was uncatchable and I'm watching, going, man, that's not
like him. Then you see Cedric Wilson with a drop.
Ceedee Lamb had a drop. Uh, Noah Brown had a drop.
I mean his was maybe a little more tougher to catch,
but still it kind of hit him on the back.
Number shouldn't be able to catch it. They had a
number of drops that impacted drives, impacted the game. I

(04:32):
just I thought the Cowboys for as big of a
game as that was in our minds on the outside
and people say, oh, this might be a Super Bowl preview,
they laid an egg. They offensively, they walked out there
and they laid an egg. I think most teams in
the NFL would have told me, you, LaVar, if you
can hold the Chiefs to what sixteen points, that's a

(04:52):
hell of a game. Yeah. And so it was the
offense to me that I thought didn't show up. Well,
it's interesting, sing because I don't believe either teams often
showed up. And and and you mentioned Dallas is um offense.
You also mentioned Kansas City's offense. I think Kansas City

(05:12):
is going to have to make sure or lean on
what their defense is going to do, and they couldn't
do that earlier on in the year. You know, if
we were called they just were they just were not
in sync, they weren't in tune. They weren't really able
to contribute to to the wins or to the effort

(05:34):
that that that was needed necessary, because I just do
not see this offense dominating this year. So to see
a game that was played the way that it was
played yesterday and and for it to end up being one,
you know, really, I mean one of those games where

(05:54):
you're you're you're saying to yourself, if this is a
Super Bowl preview, would you have come away from that
games saying, wow, you know what, this was super entertaining.
I loved it, like, wow, great super Bowl. I don't
think anybody would have came away from seeing that. You know,
triple was fun. But that's about it. That's about it.
So I I you know, it's it's interesting to me

(06:18):
that you called it. You said the Chiefs look would
would climb out of whatever it is they're they're in.
I didn't expect it to be this way. I mean,
it's it's been ugly. I mean, they put points up
last week, but it's just been very ugly. They've won
very ugly. But you know what, whether you get style
points or not, for winning it's a win. I just

(06:39):
think that you come to a place where you have
expectations for what Patrick mahomes in this offense is going
to do and they're not living up to it. And
I would ask this, Jonas Brady, I would have asked this,
are we wrong for looking at a win that's nineteen
to nine? That's a quality win? Oh, you know, quality

(07:01):
win over a quality team. I'll say this, Am I
wrong for sitting here feeling like I'm still let down
by who the Kansas City Chiefs are well? Because they
look it just looks different. It feels different than it
has the past couple of years to where you know,
last week they did what they did against the Raiders
and interesting, we're going to carve out a special you know,

(07:22):
a little bit later on the show special something Forever
Bird his Las Vegas Raiders. Hey, did you purchase the
coffin yet? For it is over? My friend run nothing
but downhill. It's a sinking ship. Yeah, that's a that's
a bad look. We will have a lot of fun
with that later on. But last week, the offense, you know,

(07:44):
they went up and down the field. They look like
the former Chiefs. This game looked a lot like a
lot of games did earlier this season. And I don't
know if if I'm just if I'm just under the
assumption that Patrick Mahomes is going to figure it out
down the stretch and they're gonna get this offense on track.
But I mean, Jesus word Thanksgiving. I mean, at some point,

(08:05):
aren't you kind of just what you are? Or are
we still looking at the Chiefs like, man, they've got
this high ceiling based on everything we've seen the past
couple of years. I'll tell you this much. Um, you know,
there's there was a bunch of different things that I
think occurred to this roster in the now season. The
offensive line, which we all knew was gonna be retooled,
was one of them. I would just say this, it
looks like that group. And we've seen a number of

(08:27):
organizations or teams trying to retool their offensive line. But man,
it's still a glaring problem to me. Like I I
looked up front and LaVar's guy, you know, stick City
two point Oh, Michael Parsons, who's dude. I mean he
blew past Orlando Brown on on one play and I

(08:48):
was like, god, man, they brought this guy in to
be the blindside left tackle for Patrick Mahomes, and it
doesn't look really any different than what we were witnessing
in the Super Bowl at times. I mean, can't can't
get any of his hands even on the on the
guy and it's a look. It's a credit to Michael Parsons.
By the way, what are the odds for him to
win Rookie Defensive Like? Are they still plus? No? No? No,

(09:11):
he was. He was a minus two weeks ago. I mean,
but I don't care if he's like minus five. If
you want to make all right, if you want to
make any like a guaranteed hundred dollars, you take five
hundred bucks, you take fifty bucks to win ten whatever
it is, okay, and you lay money down on Micah
Parsons to win Defensive Rookie the Year, because at this point,

(09:31):
even if he gets hurt, he's still winning that award.
And I hate to go off on a tangent like that,
but every time I watch him, I'm a reminder of
the fact that like that is his shoeing of a
bet as you can get. But I guess the point
I'm trying to make is they try to address the
offensive line. We looked at it at the Super Bowls.
That's one of the biggest issues. It's still an issue

(09:52):
because even though they ran the football a little better
last night with Clyde Edwards a layer, unless they just
want to make a dramatic shift in their philosophy on
offense and just want to pound away running the football
and do that, which it seems like they don't want
to do. And by the way, there's another team who's
having a hard time doing that that I think a
lot of people thought would be playing them the FC
Championship game, and that's not looking questionable right now. But

(10:14):
we'll get to that team and you know a little
later on. It's just you're not seeing that production. And
I think it all starts up front for me, looking
at this offensive line not being what they hoped it
would be this year. Tyrane smith Man, he boned them.
He boned the Cowboys really good. He's he boned. He
might he might have done the best boning of a

(10:38):
team that that anyone has has has had happening this season.
They boned he He has boned his team again, And uh,
is there any other way to do? We want to
go deeper with that, or all right, let's go let's

(10:58):
go a little deeper. All right, Frank Clark spotting you
know what I mean? You see, you see all of
you see all of this production from the defensive front
from Kansas City. And where was it coming from the
left side of their left side of Dallas's line and

(11:20):
Terence Steele the last night? Correct, Yes, that's exactly what
I mean. That should be Tyrant Smith and and and
and the idea that that you know, listen, I know
he's got bone spurs, and I know he's out, but
it's like you have a perennial all pro that can't

(11:43):
seem to stay healthy. And and offensive lines make a difference.
They make a difference. And then when you have a
guy that is like one of your main guys on
the line and he's not playing, it makes a difference.
And Dallas is not the same team when their offensive
line isn't dominant, and their offensive front it's just not

(12:06):
dominant right now. And I think that Tyrone Smith not
being in the lineup is the main reason why they
are not doing well on offense. I believe that that's
that I mean that starts the bleed just is it's
just set and look. I I like Dak Prescott a lot,

(12:26):
and like I know, Brady and I've been talking about
this for a couple of years on the Sunday Show.
He was absolutely gonna get paid. He was going to
get all that contract. Anybody who tried to fight that
was they were brain dead. He was absolutely going to
get a monster extension and get everything that he asked for.
But it does feel like we find ourselves in this
spot every year. And Brady, you mentioned it to where

(12:48):
he gets in these certain games against top teams, and
this is where the Dak haters and the people that
question the contract and whether or not he's worth it
look at it and go oh yes to typical Dak Prescott.
He comes up short in big time moments like this.
We've it feels like we've seen this a lot throughout
the course of his feels like Kirk Cousins. I mean,
if if we're being real, like that's the conversation always

(13:10):
about Kirk Cousins, and we got to that point through
the whole franchise, tags and all that. Dak almost went
a very similar route. I mean he played under it
for one year but didn't try to go hit free agency,
got the long term extension. But now that he's got it,
everyone's kind of looking and saying, okay, like, now you're
gonna take us to a super Bowl, right, We're paying
you like you're you're gonna take us to a super Bowl.

(13:32):
And the stats are there, but you just I don't
think we're gonna see it when it's all said and done,
and it's not all on him. I mean, I don't
know that their team is good enough around him, but
at times it's sure as hell seems like they are,
you know. I mean, you know, as Labar pointed out,
their offensive line, you know was missing some pieces. Be honest,
was getting having a hard time handling Chris Jones on

(13:53):
the inside. I mean, we we talked about what kind
of big game he had. Let's not forget to his
legendary forty yard dad. It's good, but I'm glad you
brought that up. That was definitely a pertinent to the
conversation if you haven't seen it all right, because I
was watching the game with a couple of buddies, and
you know, Chris Jones have to make a plan in
the history of them, and what I go, oh, just

(14:15):
look up Chris Jones. I go for a man his size.
The way he was moving, it's just it's it. It's
like when they overstock the produce and you got to
grab one piece and the rest fall on the floor. Yeah,
it looked a lot like that. I hear, you know,
totally all right, it is too to the Cup of
Joe here Fox Sports Radio. Unbelievable. Real credit card questions

(14:42):
require real people, someone who understand your issues and works
to resolve them with you. That's why I Discover offers
helpful US based representatives available seven Discover exceptionally common sense.
All right, So coming up next, Yes, there is a team.
There was a lot of expectations for this team and
they could be in serious, serious trouble. We'll get into
all that next. Here on fs ARE, be sure to

(15:04):
catch live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks week
days at six am Eastern three am Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio. It's two Pros
and a Cup of Joe here Fox Sports Radio. LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks with you here on fs ARE

(15:25):
coming up about ten minutes from now on Fox Sports Radio,
we had a takeover in the NFL. We will get
into all the details on that here on fs are
um we mentioned and Brady you alluded to a team
that doesn't look all that hot, that maybe possibly was
considered a Super Bowl contender or at least one of
the favorites to go to a Super Bowl, and Uh,

(15:46):
something wrong in Buffalo? What what? What? What's going on
with the Buffalo Bills? Who, by the way, Jonathan Taylor
continues to just put on epic performance after epic performance.
Five touchdowns yesterday. Uh, totally dominant, best running back in
the NFL right now by far. I know LaVar was
trying to sell us on Nick Chubb, but Brady and

(16:07):
I were all about Jonathan Taylor. Nick Chubb just came back.
Let's let's pump the brakes there because the other thing is, like,
what was impressive about Taylor yesterday was Quentin Nelson went
down at one point two in that game and he's
he's been playing banged up, but I mean they still
just kept trucking along. I mean he's been taking a

(16:29):
battle axe to defense. Is right now with the way
he's running the football. Sorry, that's a Jonah Knocks quote.
I like it. I liked I like the saying, um no,
he's he's been awesome. And I wanted to me that
story is more about the Bills because it's it felt
like you're at home. They didn't even show up. I
mean they didn't even show up. This is three of

(16:52):
the last five you know you had to buy and
you know, look, you lost to Jacksonville. That was damning enough.
And not saying that they they should have been able
to beat the Colts. The Colts have gotten on a
rhythm now with Taylor running the way is, their defense
has continued to improve, kind of being what we thought
they were they would be at the beginning of the season.
My issue is more, you know, you got blown out

(17:14):
and it really wasn't close at any point in time
in that game. So I just that's more my concern.
And and this this is supposed to be a team
that you know, Josh Allen takes the next next step,
He's supposed to be m VP candidate. He's anything but
that right now. And defensively, that's Sean McDermott's calling card.
And you have a team that drops forty one on
you and runs the football the way they do. I mean,

(17:37):
it's not like they're you know, you're gonna misconstrue what
the Colts are trying to do right now. They're just
trying to ram it down your throat and you can't
figure out how to stop that. Um. I know it's
not just the coaching staff, it it's everyone involved. But
I think there's a big time, big time concern right
now in the Buffalo Bill's locker room as to what
this team is going to be because you are no

(17:59):
longer the tip of the a f C. East all right,
you know you're you're your father, remember your Darth Vader
Like he's swept in now and he's sitting on top
of the Jill Belichick in that hoodie. Say say to
the Bills that he's their father. I love it, man,
I'll say this. I am making it about the Colts.

(18:19):
And I do think that this is a fine Colts
team that just got off to a slow start. I
think there was some confusion. I think they needed to
find themselves and they have and and mind you, by
the way, in that same division that they're in that
I said, hey, they're going to make a run for
this division when it looked as though a team was

(18:39):
going to run away with it. Do you know what
the Tennessee Titans did yesterday? Do you understand what it
is that the Tennessee Titans, that's the powerhouse? Houston Texans.
I think they deserve a little bit of respect. I mean,
that team is a Super Bowl contended that. I just
at some point we needed to just stop disrespecting the

(18:59):
potent unchill of what this Houston Texans team could be because,
you know what, who has gone through more adversity than
the Houston Texas? But well, yeah, okay, I mean I
don't know that there's is worse than the Texans. I'll
be honest with you, but I mean I really don't.
I think that the Texans have gone through the most

(19:21):
out of anyone. But anyway, the point is is that
when you look at this this Colts team, they are
hitting stride. We continue to always, you know, drive home
the point the football starts in November. Are you trending
up or are you trending down? Are you finding your

(19:42):
stride or are you just trying to get through and
get by? This Colts team is showing in November that
they are a team to that is a contender. They're
they're not just showing that they're pretty good and can
win games. They're showing that they're content. They're they're playing defense.
We knew they had a top rated defense. They got

(20:03):
one of the best middle backers backers in the game
right now. They that in Leonard. They they have their
Robb I'm a big babio guy too. They got guys.
They have guys on this Colts team. And and and
the biggest question was gonna be ken Ken Carson Wentz

(20:26):
lead the way as the quarterback. Well, when you got
a guy like Jonathan Taylor, you don't have to shoulder
as much pressure as you once thought you were going
to have to shoulder. And so now with with that
that strong running attack that they have and that strong
defense that they have, you know, the a f C

(20:49):
should be on notice. They really should find Yes, there
a playoffs. And that's that's about it. Though maybe I
don't know. If you can run the ball. If you
can run the ball like that, then you then you
have a chance in a f C. Who who what
we have said is a runaway team in the NFC,

(21:11):
I mean in the a f C. Excuse me? Is
it the Tennessee Titans that just lost to the Texans?
Who is it the Kansas City Chiefs that doesn't have
the same offense that they want and we can say
what we want, It's still the Chiefs in my mind.
You know, they're still the defending f C champs. There's
still the team that now is is headed that way.
They got Patch Mahomes, they got Andy Reid. That's enough

(21:31):
for me. I don't really need all the run game
or whatever else because they're, like they've shown three years
now in a row they've been able to do it.
So I don't know. I'm still high on them. I
just don't. I don't know the head to hit right
now today the way that favorite City is playing is
good enough to be the way that the Colts are playing. Yeah,
I just don't think. I don't know. I mean, I'm

(21:52):
not gonna say you're wrong. I'm just I'm just not
gonna say you're right. If we if we if we
kept it just to the a f C South, Um,
I mean after Yester, Hey, I mean, if if you're
the Titans, you gotta be looking around going what the
hell was that? Man? I mean, I mean what the
hell was? There's a number of things I think, you know,
you have to be asking yourself, like, for example, can
we get Mike Vrabel a hat? Can we get anything? Anything?

(22:14):
I mean, he's he's in a downpour, and the guy
it looks like someone just sprayed him with a host
I don't think you wanted anything. Can we give him something?
I mean, my god, I felt bad. It was like
every time, especially the way the game went, You're watching
it and like he's in disbelief, and I'm saying, you know,
as bad as this looks, it looks worse because like
no one's willing to give him the hat. You know,

(22:35):
no one's wanting just to give him something to shield
himself from the perpetual rain of the Houston Texans. I
was trying to say, Okay, I mean the Texans just
jumped out to a lite. It took a battle axe.
That's agoin Now. That is good. Yeah. I don't know.

(22:57):
I don't know if Rabel actually wanted a hat. I
think the game was so bad that he thought maybe
the rain pouring on my face can distract everybody from
the fact that this team without Derrick Henry is a
shell of what they were. How how they're what eight
had were at eight wins at this point, I have
no idea. I I can't all they had they had,
you know, the former leading rusher, best running back and
Derrick Henry. When that gets exposed, now you know, you're

(23:20):
looking at yourself saying, Okay, we don't have that same offense.
All of a sudden, our defense doesn't look as good.
And here we are. We're a team that essentially has
gotten stripped, if all our ability to be able to
impose the style of football we want to play. I mean,
they just can't do that anymore. And by the way,
in that game, I forget who did it. A J.
Brown got hit. Most wide receivers would have buckled and

(23:45):
started convulsive on the field. He literally kind of just
bounced back up. It wasn't like a big time thing
at all. That dude is one of the tougher wide receivers,
tougher players in the league. I mean I was. I'm
always impressed by him whenever, whenever he's involved in the game,
and then they're passing attack because there is no fear
whatsoever of going across the middle for that dude. It's

(24:05):
two pros and a cup of Joe here Fox more Trader.
Was a lot of bloviating taking place during the course
of this. Uh this last segment I was at, I
was a tabit taken back by you know all of
it and you know, well a little hat talk. You know,
you know who, you know who else is gonna bloviate?
Is Brian Finley talking about I used to do a

(24:28):
video on the Pact twelve now not playing being a
college football playoffs? Here we go, I was wondering supposed
to be a part of the college football playoffs. And listen,
we we are going to discover what Brian Finley has
for us right after we find out that we were
brought to you by discovered. If you're a valued customer,
you deserve a simple gesture of appreciation from your credit

(24:49):
card company. And that's why I discover matches all the
cash back you've earned at the end of your first year.
Discover exceptionally common sense, learn more, discover dot com slash
match limitations apply. Uh, so we will go to Brian
Finley now hopefully not one single reference to the Pack
twelve for the latest in sports. Hey guys, good to
hear from you this morning about that pack twelve, like, hey,

(25:12):
how about those U c l A Bruins. They got
the job done at the call of sum and in
phatic fashion sixty two points. Did you guys see that game? No, no,
no one, No one cares. People. People are watching the
other conferences that are actually planned for something that you

(25:33):
know what that is. I bet you can't wait to
see Reggie and Matt next. I'll bet you just can't
wait to run into them. Here's here's the reality of
Reggie and Matt. They didn't want to bet with me
the past three years. Reggie lost to bet to me
last year. There they're claiming like, oh, Troy sent us
our wine because we want this bet. Two years ago,

(25:53):
Reggie bet me on live air that U n C
now and that would beat Notre Dame but cover And
they didn't last year and he still hasn't paid up
to it. So I don't know if we bet five
bucks or something like that. They're both welchers. They don't
pay their bets yet they want to. They want to
get everything back from everyone else. And then they won't

(26:14):
make a bet now either because they know USC has
been awful since Pete Carroll completely torpedoed that entire program.
I did see that on on Saturday. Uh, Troy Aikman
was talking a little trash to them during Big New
and Kickoff and uh and they were like, no, no,
we're not making We're not making a bet, Like why
why can't you? Like, Well, because Troy still owes us

(26:34):
from a previous so so what does he have to
do this year? Like, well, where's the bet? Double or
nothing but double or nothing shot not happening. I was
also calling for Josh Rosen to come into that game
when the Falcons were losing by a lot. Matt as
soon as he came in, what did he do? Guys?
He threw the pick six. It was like, oh my gosh,
here we are again. You're gonna and you know, he's

(26:59):
a guy that really uplifts the players out around him
something like that. And uh. And that'll conclude our coverage
of the Pack twelve. All right, it is too pros
and a cup of Joe here Fox Sports Radio. We
are going to have the fs R i R coming
up in about ten minutes from now here on Fox
Sports Radio. Yeah, it's just, you know, a little uncomfortable,

(27:24):
but hey, so the Steelers absolutely. Excuse me, The Steelers
fans absolutely took over so FI last night. Did you
see that any of the pictures of Steeler Nation taking
over that stadium? I know, I know the Chargers have
been trying to sell people on our fans are starting
to show up. We got a good quarterback, we got
a good football team again. Our fans are starting to

(27:46):
show up. Brady, You've talked about this before, LaVar. You're
a Steeler fan. That fan base travels anywhere, so it
doesn't matter, it doesn't matter if it's so far, it
doesn't matter where they go. And the Steelers could roll
anybody they want out at quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and whatever
shape he's in right now. And they absolutely took over
that stadium last night. It was fun to watch, Yeah,

(28:07):
I mean it was. It was cool to watch that
they didn't help him win and maybe maybe come back
a little bit Stillers Raiders probably two of the most
passionate fan bases in the country. Like I remember when
I played for the Broncos and and they're a divisional opponent,
you know, you'd still see them everywhere in Denver, and
I mean it would be all over the place. You're

(28:28):
like usually we've got a pretty good home field advantage.
But that was one of those games, like you knew
they were gonna come out strong support Um, the Stillers.
What about in Cleveland? Yeah? You you you get that
sometimes the Cleveland fan base is pretty devout, man Like
you usually didn't get like that heavy of like them
selling their tickets to Stillers fans or nothing like that.

(28:50):
I always felt like that Cleveland held strong, Like that's
a great fan base too. They might not travel as
well to away destinations like the Stillers fans do still Stills,
But I do feel like, what is that? What is that?

(29:11):
They got a thing in that stadium where they do
a dog check. Oh, I'd add Browns game and they
start barking. Are they still wearing the masks? Are they
still wearing that? That that does masks very good? It's
like the one it's like the one you wore for Halloween. Yeah.
I'm not even I'm not even gonna try and entertain

(29:33):
the reference here because I just think it's discuss Can
I can I do this before we get too deep
into the Stiller's loss to the I don't think we
all right now, we're gonna we gotta get the break. Yeah, yeah,
I guess you're right. We're not going to get to it.
But I guess something to think about as we hit
to the break is why was that not targeting on
on that play where the interception took place. Targeting is

(29:57):
not a call in the NFL, so it'd have to
be a personal but well personal foul. What I mean,
how do you go blast a dude in the head
like that that's on the ground and defenseless and there's
like nothing there there was no call, there was nothing.
It's just let's just keep going. Like I just think

(30:19):
that the hypocrisy that exists with the way things are
looked at in terms of offensive players versus defensive players.
We say we're trying to keep players safe, but are
you know, really, in the grand scheme of things, our
players really being looked at to be kept safe or
is it really really defining itself the level of um

(30:43):
focus on who in particular you're trying to keep safe.
That's what I came to. Like, that was the conclusion
I came to last night, because as blatantly as that
young man was hitting his head and his helmet was
knocked off from how hard he was druck by a
lineman in his head and nothing. I just on a

(31:06):
more serious note, I know we've been joking around a lot,
but on a more serious note, I just think the
hypocrisy of that it's gonna cost It's gonna cost somebody
at some point if if they don't really take a
good look at protecting every if you're going to protect one,
protect them all. Yeah, it's and every single week there's
there's issues. There was another one that we can get
to it at some point. Also, it's a strange handling

(31:28):
of a of a review in the Chiefs Cowboys game.

Brady Quinn Jonas knocks with you. Coming up on top
of next hour a little over ten minutes from now.
It was the game of the day in the NFL,
A fun one. We will get into all the uh,
just the layers to it. An injury that was talked
about afterwards that could impact a potential playoff run. So
we'll get into all that here a little over ten
minutes from now on Fox Long Radio. You are on

(32:58):
one man. You're absolutely on one today. Just a classy
guy through and through. UM we're selling a lot of
food to that see of course, well, I mean it's
a holiday week. I mean before you and I are
both really excited for this holiday week, we're not excited
for what comes after that, the greatest season of the year. Hey, Which,
by the way, it was interesting. I was at a

(33:20):
hotel this this weekend. I won't drop a name because
it would seem like I'm i'm, I'm, I'm name dropping.
You know. No, it's the opposite direction, bro, I would
be talking about a motel the idea, and it was
a hotel, not a motel um. But it had such

(33:40):
a festive environment. The music was festive, the smell was festive.
They had all these decorations. And guess what they had
right as you get off of the elevator to go
to the lobby of the hotel. Tell me it was
a Christmas tree. Was a Christmas tree. It was amazing,

(34:04):
amazing Christmas tree right there as you got off of
the elevator. And I'm thinking to myself, well, if if hotel,
this hotel chain, which has so many hotels on different levels,
has one hair that I would assume they have a
Christmas tree and all of the lobbies that they have

(34:24):
across the country and across the world. So you know,
I'm just saying, man, we can't be wrong at this point.
They got anything out for Fourth of July. They got
fireworks out too. You go ahead and make it a
little red, little green, little white. Yeah. I see what
you tried to do there. That's bloviating. It's it's very empty.

(34:48):
It's just not there's no substance to it. Um, you're
just throwing something out there to shift the focus of
what really is real, which is it is the holiday season.
The holiday season, tis the season for Thanksgiving, and tis
the season for something we do on the show called

(35:08):
this after your Sports weecat happens. So it's time to
get the that's a report, all right, away we go.
Who wants to go first? LaVar Brady uh pick, certainly. Well.

(35:30):
My i R moment was when I realized that I
wasn't going to get home at a certain hour last night.
I had my my flight changed. Everything was set up good.
And you tell me if you've ever heard of this.
They held the airplane that we were on. We made
our connector from Cleveland to Chicago hair to to come

(35:53):
to l a X and they held our plane for
over thirty five minutes, prety minutes. I think it got
all the way up to just under an hour for
for at least five connectors from a flight five. So
we go from being on time getting in and me

(36:16):
being able to get some some adequate sleep and rest
before um taking that East coast body clock and going
to West coast immediately like a matter of like two
hours of sleep to you know, being where I'm at
right now. So I am currently I am currently on

(36:38):
I R currently les. So you guys know, so if
I say anything crazy or I'm not making sense, it's
because my brain is on. I throw up that disclaimer.
First off, the biggest mistake you can make and travel.
And I love the city of Chicago, but O'Hare is
an absolute dump and it's a nightmare to go through.

(37:00):
So sorry, midway's quick, you could go in and out.
All right, Well, let me give you my story now
it's not necessarily directly from me, but I was the
most uncomfortable I've ever been in on a flight. Also
connecting in Dallas. Four words, no, no, there's no pack

(37:28):
working twelve game is going to um. The lady behind
where I was sitting directly behind she was screaming on
her phone and complaining about how she found out another
coworker gets paid more than her. She had, you know,
happened to see some documents that she wasn't supposed to
see from her boss, and it showed what he was

(37:52):
making and what she would when she knew what she
was making. And she was really upset about, very disgruntled.
And so she was talking about her find acentual situation.
Everyone on the planes like turning and looking at each other,
like this is not the conversation you want to have
in public. And then she pivots a strong pivot to
how she just got a colonoscopy and how that didn't
go well. Even I was like, all right, I need

(38:13):
to get off the plane. I need to get off
the plane. I've never I've never felt more uncomfortable in
my life. And that's the best I've ever heard. Bro.
It was so uncomfort older woman. Yeah, well listen, uh,
you know, two pros and a cup of Joe emphasize
the number two cooscopy. Fox Sports Radio has the best
