(01:08):
here a reminder, Okay, a reminder. Dan Byer has his
weekend show and he has a brand new I Want
Your Flex podcast. It's important because all the injuries, you're
searching for a running back, searching for a flex, you're
searching for a tight end. Who do I play this weekend?
I think Dan and Mike Harmon do as good a

(01:28):
job as anybody on those fantasy pods. It's called I
Want Your Flex. Download it, listen to it. Jason Stewart
will find something to complain about this weekend. And John Ramos, well,
he's a Rams fan, but he's also they're also Dodger van,
so they're pretend like they're awesome, and then as soon
as their team gets to the playoffs and they lose,
then of course everyone in the Dodgers organization is complete
imbeciles and idiots. Do we get that right? I think

(01:51):
we did. All right, let's get ready for the weekend
with our picks of the weekend are five for five
I Won't.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Win It twelfth. We got a five NFL five College
five on three on three's five for five with Doug Gottlieb.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
H five for five broadcasts and live with the tyright
dot Com studios. Tyright dot com. Will we get there,
unmatched election, fast, free shipping, free, road hazard protection, over
ten thousand recommended sellars, ty right dot com sway tired
buying should be all right five for five and we'll
have our same game parlay during our NFL picks. But
let's get to the college picks first, shall we we shall?

(02:35):
Let's start with Oklahoma taking on Cincinnati at Cincinnati's made
in voyage in the Big Twelve, playing on campus at
home against oh you. OHU has been completely and totally
dominant against two terrible teams, and they were okay against
SMU when they played them at home. They can't take
on Cincy, and let's not act like since he's great.

(02:56):
They lost at home to miamf Ohio in overtime last week.
The number is somewhere between fourteen and a half and fourteen.
If you can get fourteen and a half even better,
But I'd still take Cincinnati. I think it's gonna be
I think Oklahoma wins. I think it's gonna be a
close football game. Give me the Bearcats and the number

(03:20):
same start time, Florida State Clemson, Florida State Clemson. Clemson
is almost never a home dog under dabos Sweeney. You know,
the last time they were a home dog under Dabo Sweeney,
they took on Lamar Jackson in Louisville. They won that game.
They won that game. Clemson is not as dominant as

(03:41):
they used to be, but their Week one loss to
Duke was the strangest game ever. Right, two fumbles inside
the red zone, two block field goals, everything possibly could
have gone wrong. Meanwhile, Florida State survived Boston College last week.
I like Clemson straight up, just just home dog, bark
in debth Valley. I just this is a feeling that

(04:06):
Dabbo has heard all the whispers. Hey, we didn't go
to the transferport because we like what we got here.
I think Clemson wins this game. So Clemson is a dog.
Take Clemson and the money line. Text A and M
is taking on Auburn, and as many of you know, okay,

(04:26):
I did take text A and M to beat Miami.
That was their one loss of the season. Meanwhile, Auburn
survived Cal and their two wins over Stamford and you Mass,
you Mass one of the worst teams in College division
in college football. Meanwhile, A and M got back home
after losing to Miami, some controversial calls and thoroughly whooped
up on ul Monroe, A and M. Kyle Field gonna

(04:48):
be hot like the Ags, and I'll even lay the
eight points. Yeah, that's right, me picking the text A
and m Aggie's. You know I'm only doing it for money.
Give me the Ags before they gag them in a bigger,
bigger game. Let's get to a couple of bigger games.
Other weekend, Oregon taking on Colorado. I don't say COLORADOA,

(05:10):
I say Colorado. I do think that the Buffs come
in a little bit beat up. Obviously, they don't have
Travis Hunter, and their offense is gonna look far different,
their defense gonna look far different. But three touchdowns is
an over correction. Could have lost to Colorado State. But
didn't you know Nebraska doesn't put it on the turf?

(05:32):
Fine Nebraska? Did I think CU covers the twenty one.
I'm pretty confident about it. I don't think they win
the game. I wouldn't go money line, but twenty one,
or if I tease it, I'm feeling really really good
about it. And then I'm gonna pick against my alma mater.

(05:53):
I am Okloben State's playing three quarterbacks and they can't
seem to figure out how to block for any of them.
Offensive line issues. And Iowa State, you look at me,
you go one and two, you're really good. But Iowa State, Yes,
they lost to Ohio, they lost to They have a
dynamic defense. They might have the best defense in the
Big twelve. That's why this is. The total is thirty

(06:16):
five and a half. Total is thirty five and a half.
Is that a low number? Or what? Give me the Cyclones?
They win, they cover one bonus pick. Now I gave
you early in the week, I gave you No Tre Dame. Okay,
Notre Dame was an eight point favorite, early eight point

(06:37):
dogger in the week. Now they're at three point dog.
I think Notre Dame wins straight up. I just do.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
And I agree with lou Holt tweet said, any time
you've been physical, teams have been physical with Ryan Day's teams,
they've lost.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
You go back.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
You look at Clemsin, you look at Michigan, you look anologies.
Opponents have been physical with them. Ryan Dage said, that's
the Achille shield to the buck guys.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Notre Dame's gonna be physical. No Dame wins. This game
is a big one for Marcus Freeman. After last year
starting out poorly, this year he'll start out great. I
like the Irish. Those are the college picks. Let's get
to the bros. Doug Gottlieb Show, Fox Sports Radio. Let's
get to the NFL picks, shall we? Yeah, this one's

(07:22):
both head and heart. Head and heart. Chargers taking on
the Vikings. Vikings is just not that good. They can't
they They can't block for Kirk Cousins and he can
get rid of it quick, but not that quick. Do
I fear Justin Jefferson going crazy the way Tyreek hilled it?

Speaker 4 (07:37):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Sure, but they brought in camp Akers for a reason
because they're not happy with their running game. And I
don't think they're happy with the running game because they're
lying because they're running backs. Chargers win and now they're
a dog. So you can get money line, get a
little extra, get Alex to cash there, Goloksa cash there.

(08:01):
The Patriots are a two and a half point favorite
at the Jets this game. The over under is thirty six. Yikes.
The Jets have to score off their defense. I don't
think they will. I got the Patriots winning and the
Patriots covery. Indy takes on Baltimore. Now, remember Gardner Minshew

(08:30):
is getting to start for Indy. Gardner Minshew is getting
to start for Indy. Baltimore is an eight point favorite.
This is going to be our DraftKings Same Game parlay

for details. I like Indy and the Under in this game,
Indy and the Under. I think Gardner Minshew protects the ball.
I think Baltimore continues to miss dow WHI they're starting safety,
but also JK. Dobbins. Baltimore wins a close game at
home because they have Justin Tucker and they have Lamar Jackson.

(09:13):
But I don't think they blow out Indy eights too
many points. Give me Indy and the Under, Indy to
the Under, Raiders take it on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Raiders
are two and a half point favorite. They're at home. Yes,
it's going to be essentially a home game for the Steelers.

(09:34):
I just I like the Raiders offense better than the
Steelers offense. I think the Raiders win by a touchdown
that would be enough to cover. Give me the and
the last pick. The Miami Dolphins are taking on the
Denver Broncos. They're at home. Remember Miami's played two road games.
When you play in September in Miami, they wear you

(09:56):
out in the fourth quarter. They're gonna wear you out
all game long. Could be a little bit wet me
showing the ability to run it, showing the ability to
throw it, and Denver hasn't shown the ability to do either.
Miami wins, Miami covers. Those are the picks.

Speaker 2 (10:09):

Speaker 1 (10:43):
You know, I don't get excited for a lot of things,
but I get excited for the Gambler. I just do.
I love hearing John Romos's picks, uh and his chuckle
and the fact that we got the Jay stud team
Parlay Buyer spends a lot of time on this thing. So,
without further ado, before we have the Chris Filika, our
betting analysts from Fox Sports join us. Let's sing a

(11:05):
little bit of Kenny Rodgers. Now. The premise of the
Gambler is this. All the men on this show are
going to give you one pick there, one go to
for the weekend that they have the most faith in,
and you're gonna go to the window and win money.
And as rom Moos has pointed out in our group text,
our percentages are light years better, light years better than Cowherds.

(11:32):
And as John pointed out, we just have a good
time with it. Now, anybody will be better than Cowherd
because he has yet to get a pick in his
blazing five correct? Is that right?

Speaker 5 (11:41):
That's hard to do? Uh? You know what that back
door cover by the Panthers got him a push or
the back door push. So he's nine zero in a
push or oh nine in push?

Speaker 1 (11:56):
All right, what do you got there, Jays do? What's
the j S two team parlay?

Speaker 5 (12:00):
Run to the window for this one. Everybody run to
the window. This is going to be an early college
football special and it's going to combine. Wisconsin giving six
points to Purdue in Indiana. The boiler Makers are getting
six points, but they're not going to cover tonight. And
just a quick message for Purdue fans, Jim Everett is

(12:23):
not walking through that door. Wisconsin will win, and I
need you to put your jay's do parlay? You need
to parlay that with NC State giving seven and a
half at Virginia tonight. Wisconsin to NC State. They're both
very red and Russell Wilson played for both, so this
is a Russell Wilson Jay Stu parlay.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Okay, Dan Byer, what do you got?

Speaker 4 (12:50):
You know?

Speaker 6 (12:51):
The Colts go into Sunday's game against the Ravens and
as you and I and John Rammels and Jason Stewart
a remember there was a day where the Colts made
their home in Baltimore. Not as much of a rivalry anymore,
the Mayflower Trucks are a distant memory, but the Colts

(13:12):
come to town. I actually think better suited to top
the Ravens. As Anthony Richardson is out with his concussion,
Gardner Minshew gets the start. Colts may not win, but
the Ravens are eight and a half point favorites right now.
Give me the Colts to cover on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Love that pick that was part of my five for five.

Speaker 7 (13:29):
John Ramos, Well, you know, I don't like to do
this very often. I rarely pick the Rams games because
I just don't want to. My heart's in those games
and I don't want to, you know, do too much
of that. But today I'm going to go against that,
and it's because the Joe Burrow situation is just so
much in the air. I don't think he's gonna play.

(13:53):
Don't don't put that down, Yeah orthopedic John Ramos, Yeah,
I'm not a doctor, so don't take my word for
but I just he's not gonna play. I think that
you don't want to risk him for the rest of
the season. The Rams have been playing well offensively. It's
their first road game. Yesterday Stig got Tea Higgins out there.
They got your bar chase, but who's ever thrown him?
The ball won't be as big as Joe Burrow. So

(14:14):
I like, there are only two point underdogs in that
game on the road. I'll take the Rams to not
only cover that, but just to win the game. Oh yeah, no,
beat the Bengals in Cincinnati. How about that one?

Speaker 1 (14:26):
I listen, there is video, and I'm sure Buyer's seen
this because he pays attention to stuff that I do
as well. The owner of the Cincinnati Bengals, okay, uh,
Mike Brown pulled up and while Joe Burrow was stretching,
had him hop in his golf cart, talked to him
and drove around, then dropped him back off at stretching.

(14:47):
My guess is what he said is how's the calf?
And He's like, I'll be fine, I'm good to go.
And he probably said to him like, look, Joe, you're
our guy. Whether you play Sunday or don't play Sunday,
it's way more important we have you for the rest
of the year and the rest of your career. Just remember,
like I I know you you could play. I kind

(15:07):
of agree with you. I think they're trying to take
the pressure off him. I'm not sure he plays, but
that's a risky bet.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
I took that. I took that. I saw that exchange too,
because I also traffic and things that you and Dan
Byer find interesting. This is what I thought. Mike Brown
said to Joe Burrow, I got you a coffee half calf.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
That's it.

Speaker 7 (15:33):
What's that to do with anything?

Speaker 5 (15:34):
Half calf?

Speaker 1 (15:35):
That's half half?

Speaker 4 (15:37):
All right?

Speaker 1 (15:38):
I give you, I give you, I give you my pick.
I think this is going to be one of the
most entertaining games of the weekend. Oregon State taking on
Washington State up in the Polue. Oregon State, of course,
is quarterback by Djungle, who started his career at Clemson
and since transferring like he's been good. Like let's not

(16:02):
act like he's the greatest. He's got six touchdowns, two
interceptions completed, what forty two out of sixty eight pass
Oregon State's good, good defense, good football team. I'm not
saying Washington State's gonna win the Pac twelve. But if
you saw Colorado State, Washington State demolish them. They beat
Wisconsin at home. It's things are crazy in the police

(16:23):
in these big games. And their quarterback cam Ward is
off to an outstanding start. He's completing over seventy percent
of his passes, nine touchdowns, no interceptions. He's a run
pass threat as well. I see Washington State, who's an
underdog winning straight up? That's my pick in the Gambler.

Speaker 6 (16:41):
Can I say something?

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (16:43):
I do love John's pick, like we're gonna have a
whole other show before that game is played, because it's
on Monday night, so a lot could change between now
and Monday night. Usually usually the picks are on a Friday,
Saturday or Sunday, but Johnson Friday.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
That way we can laugh at everybody else's picks in
aptitude all weekend on our Yeah, do you want to
take another shot your picks?

Speaker 6 (17:07):
John, I'm gonna change my pick if I can. November sixteenth,
the Bengals and Ravens do battle in Baltimore, and I'll
tell you what, Vinny Testaverdi is not walking through that door.
Ravens fans give me the Bengals on November sixteenth to
go to Baltimore and beat the Ravens.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Man no wind, But let's sing Stut Gottlieb Show here
on Fox Sports Radio. All right, let's bring them in.
We do so every week here on the show. Just

(17:51):
a special special treat for you. He's the Bear. He's
got the Bear Bets podcast. Of course, Chris Philka, you'll
see him on Big Noon kick Off if he joins
us on the Doug Gottlieb Show here on Fox Sports Radio.
A lot of big games this weekend. Let's start with
Notre Dame Ohio State. What do you think?

Speaker 4 (18:12):
I wasn't sure what to make of this game early
in the week and as the week's gone on, but
just watching for a couple of weeks and watching film,
I kind of like the Buckeyes here. I think Notre
Dame has been a very attractive underdog out there, and
deservedly so. I mean, there's three teams in the country
that have scored forty or more points in every game
and won all their games by at least twenty one points.

(18:34):
That's the USC, Washington ad Notre Dame. So clearly what
Notre Dame has done has been massively impressive as far.
But this is also the best defense at the ris.
You're going back to face the cier so I'm curious
to see how that will go. And I think if
the Ohio offensive line can protect just enough. I think
the Buckeys have some mismatches on the outside with with
Marvin Harris and as well, so I am I'm going

(18:59):
to take over. It's a very rare opportunity to get
Ohio stated a bit of a discounts. I'm gonnain O
has State here.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Why do you think Ohio State's at that.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
Discarnt I be if you go back to look, this
is the first time at Ohio State the Ryan Day
has been involved in a game where in the regular
season where the points sport has been a kewer than
six points, so to it goes to show I think
the amount of respect that the oz Bakers and everybody
has for Notre Dame. But at the same time, I
think there are some questions about Ohio State. But Common

(19:28):
Cord hasn't exactly looked great so far, but I do
think they have found some things. And I think while
it was Western Kentucky, I think what we saw as
that game went on last week, the way they already
spread the ball around the boy Henderson was able to run,
and I think that that has something to do with pullip.
Notre team is a good team and they are always
going to attract money. So I think all of those

(19:49):
factors kind to come into play as to why the
buck guys are only his great point favorite here.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
Okay, let's go to the SEC. Mississippi State is going
to South Carolina. South Carolina for a half gave Georgia
everything they wanted. South Carolina a six point favorite at
home in Columbia.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
Yeah, I think there are some six and a half
still out there as well. I like the Bulldogs in
this game. Will Rogers didn't suddenly forget how to play football.
He struggled so far, hasn't been the same quarterback, and
I think that also goes to show you how great
of an offensive coach Mike Leach was. At the same time,
they're not going to continue. You wouldn't think to convert

(20:29):
thirty percent on third down. So I think that what
you're going to see is eventually that kind of balance out,
and I think you'll see MISISISPPI gig play better, especially
after getting embarrassed on their home field last week against LSU.
And I think it's what you mentioned the Georgia South
Carolina game last week, losing Juice Wells. They did nothing
in the second half offensively. I wonder about the physicality

(20:52):
of that game, and now South Carolina has to bounce
back and play a desperate Mississippi State team. I think
six and a half is too many here take the
points with which states?

Speaker 1 (21:01):
All right, let's stay in the SEC. Auburn traveling to
College Station take on the Aggies. Aggies, of course, have
that one loss to Miami. Your boys early in the year.
They're at eight point four, gonna be really really hot
in an early game at Kylefield.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Amazing.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
You mentioned the Miami game, and I think people have
been critical and just kind of the A and M.
It's not going to work with Jimbo. What happens as
the year goes on if we determine and discover that
Miami's actually pretty good like it certainly takes a lot
less of the sting, a lot more of this thing
rather off of that defeat, and we saw the Aggies

(21:37):
get work last week against the completely overmatched ULM team.
I think if you look at Auburn though, the one
game they played on the road, they went to cal
and struggled mightily and off and just got fourteen points.
Peyton Gorn turned the ball over a bunch, couldn't complete
any pass, No defense played well, but they are facing
a team that is better all over the fields, recruited

(22:00):
well as fi as girls all over the place kind
of wigman and that offense I think will continue to allow.
I think the Aggies are better in the trenches on
both sides as well. I think this game could get
away from Auburn, and I like the Agues to get
away and win this one easy because look, look, we
have questions about Alabama, Like everyone's kind of writing off
A and M, kind of writing off LSU, the two

(22:21):
SEC West teams there with one loss. What happens if
Alabama does continue to struggle and you've got A and
M and LSU right now with the one loss, that
both those teams still control their own destiny to get
to Atlanta, get to the SEC, tie the game, and
most likely into the playoffs if they can fulfill and
reach their potential.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
Big game this weekend. One that's receiving a ton of
action is Colorado taking on Oregon. The number I'm seeing
for total of seventy and organ a twenty point favorite.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
What do you do then? The number that I'm looking
at there is the Oregon team total over forty five
and a half. I think Colorado defense is going to
be completely up against it at Austin on Saturday. In
knicks and the running backs and the receivers that they
have up front, they are the best team by far
that Colorado will have played. I think if Oregon gets

(23:15):
maybe thirteen possessions in the game, there's a good chance
they could score in eight of them, and that would
put a right around fifty six or system. I think
fifty is absolutely in play for Oregon here. I'd be
a little hesitant and laying the twenty one just because
if you could be looking at a like a fifty
six to thirty five type of game where Colorado continues

(23:36):
to score late even without Travis Hunter. But I think
the Ducks will win. I think they will put up
a lot of points, and the playoff feel most confident
about is Oregon continuing to score and go over forty
five and a half ones.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Iowa taking on Penn State the Nitny Lions a fourteen
half point favorite total is forty forty with a fourteen
half point.

Speaker 4 (23:56):
Line, Yeah, and it feels like under is probably the
play there. If I had to play this game, that
would be the one of the ways that I would
go and you look with leshe now out for Iowa,
an offense that has struggled already loses one of their
best weapons, which is a big deal. And if you
look at Iowa in the against these as a double

(24:17):
digit underdog and just tend to think, oh, maybe Iowa
can kind of ugly it up and keep the game close,
you go back since they upset Ohio State twenty seventeen.
I think it was at fifty five twenty four games
where JT. Barrett kind of imploded, Like in four games
as a double digit dog, they scored a total of
forty one point. So I don't think the Iowa offense
has got to score up a bunch here against a

(24:39):
really good Penn State defense. I do think the Iowa
defense will hang in there as long as they can.
But this feels like a like a twenty three ten
kind of games. I really wouldn't be looking at messing
with spread, but if I did have to play, it
is dealing with that low total, I would look at
going under.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Give me one more than I'm missing, kind of off
the radar that you like this weekend.

Speaker 4 (25:00):
I think if you look Tulsa Northern Illinois is a
game that I kind of like if you look at
Northern Illinois, they did pull that upset at BC to
start the year a bad VC team, but since then
they scored eleven points in a loss to the Salukis,
they scored eleven points in a loss at Nebraska. Their
offense is basically not exist and Tulsa has kind of

(25:21):
punched above their weight and taking on Washington in Oklahoma,
two of the better offenses in the country, and now
the tim to use the horse race analogy, they kind
of drop in class a little bit here. So they're
taking on Northern Illinois, a team that they should be
able to put up some points and keep out at
the end zone as well, like Tulsa. And then I
like Texas team total over thirty one and a half

(25:43):
against Baylor. I think if you watch Baylor and to
talk to some people, like they don't think this is
a great but I think people don't think that they
are watching them and how you played them already. They
don't think them are gone film. They're not really that improved.
I think if you were us, those receivers could have
a monster game against that secondary is a Texas team

(26:04):
total over thirty one and a half as well.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
All right is the bear Bets podcast. Check it out,
download it and of course you will see him on
Big Noon Kickoff Chris FeliCa. Chris, thanks so much for
joining us. Have a great weekend. We'll talk to you.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
Soon, absolutely, Dog, take care you do the same.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Be sure to catch the live edition of The Doug
Gottlieb Show weekdays at three pm Eastern noon Pacific on
Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 8 (26:30):
Here's perd You gonna throw one deep? Why for Deepot
made the catch on the back shoulder touchdown, saying friend
Cisco final seconds the gun goes here in the forty
nine Ers sound the foghorn as the forty nine Ers
win it.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
That's how Progressive play the day on KNBR, the forty
nine Ers Radio Network, Progress and making things even easier.
They'll be under your car insurance and home together, but
save on both of them. Progressive dot com or call
one eight hundred Progressive. All right, we'll getting ready for
a huge weekend in college football obviously always a big
weekend in the NFL as well, and the waning weekends
of Major League Baseball. So Dwight Howard I guess worked

(27:19):
out for the Warriors, and you know they end up
not signing to a deal. And basically the way these
workouts and meetings work, if you go there and you
walk away without a contract, that usually means they didn't
want you. That's that's it. So uh and when you
have an okay year in Taiwan, that usually does not
bode well for you trying to play for a World championship.

(27:40):
But that's just that's just me. Let's get to the press.
The press press brought you by Discover credit Card, where
I just learned. Discover credit Card does something pretty awesome.
At the end of your first year, the automatically double
the cash back you've earned. This right, everything you've earned.
They double cash back on trips, restaurants, all double serious though,
seat term checking off yourself and discovered slash match Dan Byer,

(28:03):
What do you.

Speaker 6 (28:03):
Got, Doug? The forty nine ers did win last night
against the Giants. Today, the Niners rewarded their GM and
head coach not just for that win, but what they've
done with the organization. Both John Lynch, the general manager
and Kyle Shanahan, the head coach, getting multi year extensions
to stay with the Niners. Lynch had a contract that
ran through the twenty twenty four season. Shanahan had an

(28:25):
extension that went through twenty twenty five season. Now they're
going to stick around even longer in the Bay Area.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
It's not a surprise. I think it's you know, I
remember there was a time, was it last year when
they were struggling early starting yar people like, well, what
are they who have they really beaten? What's the record
when they don't have Jimmy Garoppolo whatever, Like dude, but
anybody doesn't have their starting quarterback, what's their record? I
mean it's been Yes, they missed on Trey Lance, but

(28:57):
they hit on the last pick of the draft. So
it does he go out? Makes sense to me?

Speaker 6 (29:01):
Curious. We never hear a lot about the money, you
know that the that the head coaches would get. But
just doing a quick search, and this was from February,
Shanahan was making about ten million dollars a year and
Bill Belichick gets about twenty million, Sean Payton eighteen million,
Pete Carroll fifteen million. You wonder if it's somewhere in

(29:24):
that territory for a yearly basis, I.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Mean, he's he's that well respected. It would make sense,
all right?

Speaker 6 (29:31):
More news from the NFL, and I want to get
to some interesting betting stuff from this weekend. No Anthony
Richardson for the Colts, but the Ravens will be shorthanded
as well, Justice Hill, they're running back not going to play,
but Doug Odell Beckham Junior an ankle injury will force
him to miss the game against Indianapolis.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Well, the Ravens are all banged up, and Sami, I
youve heard this before, but Odell Beckham Junior is hurt.
You and I are both on the Colts for this one.
That's a big number. And the Ravens do find ways
to win games. It's not about winning, but style points
are not theirs. And the offense hasn't been great yet,
so part of it was they didn't have Mark Andrews early.
Now you don't have Odell Beckham Junior, you don't have JK. Dobbins.

(30:12):
A little bit of smoking mirrors and we'll see how
much they run. Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 6 (30:15):
I also just find it funny again last year there
was such an ob J watch in the NFL. Remember
all the rumors the sweepstakes, Yes, the sweepstakes. Jay Stu
called them the OBJ sweepstakes when first of all, we
didn't even know if he was even healthy enough, which
lay correct never ended up signing, and then let alone

(30:39):
us trying to figure out what he had left in
the tank so far this year in those two games.
And it wasn't a whole game in Week two, but
seven targets, five receptions, sixty six yards not great?

Speaker 1 (30:52):
No, what are you eating there, Jase two?

Speaker 6 (30:55):
I know what he's not eating what he ordered last night?
Had an awful time at a rest. You have to
tack out some food, bad restaurant experience. Share Right now,
I'm eating Trader Joe's multi grain tortilla chips.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
Do I recommend them? I picked some of these up
with the everything but the bagel spine. Yes, I ran
out of that, so I had to grab these and
that so okay, TJS, Oh, I know, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (31:28):
No, I didn't know if there's anything more. He just
wanted to know what he was eating.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
That's it. I guess.

Speaker 6 (31:33):
Austin Eckler out for the Chargers against the Vikings, not
gonna play. You also likely won't see cam Acres Vikings,
said coach Kevin O'Connell said today that it's not likely
Acres will make his Vikings debut on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
Hmm, so he won't play. That's that's that's good news
for the Chargers. I got to the less fewer guys
that play the better. But when they when you trade
for a for a Cam Acres, you are telling the
rest of the league you're not super happy with your
running back situation.

Speaker 6 (32:02):
No, and Alexander Madison has not been as great as
they would have hoped in taking over for Dalvin Cook.
But what a what a great what a great game?
Like truly, I know it's there's like you look at
the coverage maps. Packers Saints gets much of the country,

(32:23):
but Chargers Vikings has just so much to it. And
I understand, you know, I understand the value of the
Packers and even the Saints for that matter, But Chargers Vikings,
I mean, somebody's gonna fall to oh and three. The
sky could be falling, Sky could be falling story that
you touched on earlier, Doug. The Chicago Bears say more
than one hundred thousand dollars worth of equipment was stolen

(32:45):
from Soldier Field on Wednesday night. Officials say a few
lawnmowers and gaiters were taken after the thieves tore down
a fence and a parking structure at the stadium, and
then we're able to leave with that equipment.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
I mean, do they how do you get the couldn't
move though? What's it called? When you can? You can
start a mower without the actual key? Hot wire people,
hot wire things? How do you do hazard?

Speaker 6 (33:16):
I will say this, I thought last night on the
Amazon you know, they were showing great shots of the
Bay Area, but they didn't show any of thieves breaking
into windows and then taking off with people's stuff from
the back window. Hell, that's what I thought would be more.
That also part of my algorithm.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
Yeah, it's part of my algorithm is the the desolate
downtown areas. Look what's happened to the downtown areas? Like
it's bad, It's been bad.

Speaker 6 (33:43):
I have this one video that keeps popping up where
there was there was congestion, traffic, congestion. Uh you know,
I'm gridlock and thieves pulled up the one car this
is in traffic, broke out their back window, grabbed their stuff,
and then just turned off on a side street and
took off. Crazy, crazy, but instead it's ah, there it

(34:08):
is Alcatraz, the Golden Gate man.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Oh hey look there's someone shooting up with heroin.

Speaker 6 (34:17):
Well that is not in my algorithm. I just see
all these thieves videos.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
Yes, the the video, the the videos, the brazen going
into target and just piling.

Speaker 6 (34:28):
On so awful. Yes, all right, how about these notes
Ben online College football Week four. There's only one team
that is oh and four against the spread this season, Doug.
That is Vanderbilts. But Georgia and Michigan, the top two
teams in the country, both owen three against the spread
this season.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Did not know that? Yeah, wacky wild stuff. I will
say Colorado spreads have been off, you know, whether or
not they've covered every day, didn't cover lobbies last week,
but they've just been wildly off compared to where they
should where they ended up.

Speaker 6 (34:59):
On mine says. The three most wagered favorites this week
are the New England Patriots favored over the Jets, the
Raiders over Pittsburgh, and the Bills over the Commanders.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
I think that Commander's game's gonna be close. Something has
me buying into what Sam Howe is doing.

Speaker 6 (35:17):
And the two most wagered overs Monday Nights game between
the Eagles and Buccaneers and the Texans Jaguars game. Two
most wagered unders are the Steelers Raiders game and the
Chiefs home to the Bears.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
I just Steelers are just such a mess offensive it.
I don't know if it's coordinator or quarterback or both,
but yikes. And they can't run the football.

Speaker 6 (35:36):
And one more note, Doug, twelve of the sixteen games
in week one went hit the under. Thirteen of sixteen
hit the over in week two. That was the most
overs in one week since nineteen ninety Again, this courtesy
of bet online.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
And that's see you think we get to It's like
you get the swing in the pendulum. Yes that's the press. Yes,
bag get out there and pressed.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
That was the press.

Speaker 1 (35:59):
Should be the thing. It's gonna be a very telling weekend,
is Dan point out? You have these oh and two teams,
you get to to three, and I know the stats
have changed some because there's a seventeenth game, but you
don't want to start owing three in any season and
run the risk of it and run out of the
playoffs early. And then you got college football, which one
loss does not kill you anymore. It does hurt you,

(36:19):
but it's gonna be a wild weekend. Check out the picks.
Check out the podcast called in the Bonus. It's live
