own assistant manager. She applied,They loved her, so she completed the
Retail Operations Specialist Apprentice program, graduatedwith flying colors. So now she is
the second Goodwill graduate in her family. So cool, she did lives.

I love it pretty, Sir,Anthony Dane. There's a Silas High School
senior who's crushing it. Her nameis Anya Alexis, And she's one of
these triple threats, excelling in volleyball, basketball, and academics. But she's
also one of these amazing souls whojust loves helping people. When she sees
someone struggling or not able to comprehendwhat's going on, she's the first one
to step into assists and listen tothis course load physics English for pre cow

government and forensic science. God,but her basketball career is nothing to sneeze
at Danes. She averages thirty pointsa game and has received thirty offers from
colleges to come play. So wheredoes this quiet Assassin as she's known on
the court want to commit to?She's staying here. She's committed to Rice
University and wants to study mathematics ofcourse. So awesome job and good luck

You've got a school event for youor your kids school event. Which

do you do? Well? Igo to the school event, Like the
being with my kids is part ofthe most important thing to me. And
I want to know that, youknow, when they grow up, that
they realize that I'm there for them, you know. And so I have
actually that like school events early beforebecause I want to make sure my kids
are on there. That wow,so nice. So what do you tell
your boss if there's a conflict?How do you deal with that? Oh?

Well, thankfully, I've worked forprinciples that have been like really understanding
and caring and so usually if Ican just get time to talk to them
and let them know ahead of time, it's like, hey, I know
we're having Christmas party this day,but my son is having this event and
I need to be shit there,you know. I make sure to give
them that advance warning and they've beenokay with giving us to me. Oh

that is that's how you do it? Such a lot guy. How did
you learn this, hommy? Wasyour dad like that with you or is
this just something that you made acommitment to those kids? I got to
say like with my background, myfamily has always been very like loving and
caring, and so he was alwaysthere. My dad worked forty odd years

for the railroad and he was evenwhen he got home tired of Our tradition
was that sometimes he would have togo to work at eleven thirty at night,
or he would have to go comehome early and it was really late.
And so on Christmas Eve, likeafter midnight, if he was still
there, we would open the gifts, so he would have a chance for
us to open the gift. Soit's just one of those things, just

see us open the gifts. Andso it was just one of those sayings
that kind of stuck with me thatI wanted to make sure that you know,
especially this type of season, thatthey know him there in present.
And I guess I learned it frommy dad that wow. So well.
