Good Morning Friday, Eve and it feels so good. So
also therapy Thursday. If there's anything on your mind. We
have a licensed therapist named Sarah and she will help
you with anything that might be troubling you. So we
(03:09):
want you to be happy. You've got your happiness hat
coming up. We have Stonefire Grill gift cards. We're gonna
pay for your wedding and cater it. I'm Alan, I'm
Ryan Mano, I'm Social Queen Darlene. Okay, what a night
last night. I mean, seriously, I love that the Dodgers
are going with facial recognition and you can opt in
if you want. There's special cameras. You take a selfie
(03:30):
and then you can go through that camera and voila,
you're through the door. Also, last night they did a
big raffle during the game and all the proceeds went
to rebuild the Eaton and Palace saved fires, so they
gave a lot of money fifty percent to the winner
of the raffle and then in the other fifty percent
to the fires.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
Do you buy the fifty to fifty tickets?
Speaker 6 (03:50):
And I'm not talking last night for the fire relief,
but typically when you go on a regular night, I do.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Such a great deal. Yeah, okay, why.
Speaker 6 (03:57):
No, I'm just curious because I've never known anyone that's
won it, obviously, and I don't know.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
I just feel like you're throwing money away.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
We do it a lot for our football team at
Loyola High School, and there were always really great prizes
and we would always raise a ton of money.
Speaker 10 (04:11):
The way I look at it, it's your team. So
you're contributing and you're still winning even if you don't
win the jacket.
Speaker 8 (04:16):
Yeah, you're right.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
So it's really not about the prize. It's about the process.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
No, it's about the price. It's certainly about the prize, well.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
It is, but also, but you feel good in your
heart because you're helping.
Speaker 8 (04:26):
Yeah, because you're helping.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
And let's congratulate Dave Roberts signing that four year extension
He is the highest paid manager in MLB history. I
know that this came out earlier, but now it's just
been proven. There are a few more deals that fell in,
but he's worth every penny thirty two point four mil.
Speaker 6 (04:44):
Hey, would you use torpedo bats? I saw Max and
Kik testing them last night. If you're okay, if you're
on the Dodgers. So the Yankees are having all the
success with these new bats, would you use one?
Speaker 3 (04:53):
I would say, I don't need no torpedo Oh.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
God, I would be so curious. I'd have to try it.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
I would try it, but I wouldn't play the game
with it unless.
Speaker 8 (05:04):
Every team goss, unless every team.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Used it, unless I'm told we had this is our
new bat, okay, because we're doing great without it.
Speaker 6 (05:12):
No, it's for real. Yeah, and I just looked it up.
How much would you think a torpedo bat costs? If
a regular human just wanted to buy run thousands.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Two hundred you go two hundred dollars.
Speaker 5 (05:22):
Yeah, little league bats at Big five or two ninety
nine and up.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Yeah, you can.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
You can get a torpedo bat like a real wooden
approve torpedo bat for two hundred bucks.
Speaker 8 (05:31):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
What I mean, not that we would need one in real.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Right, but still you would just think that those would
be so expensive.
Speaker 8 (05:36):
They're they're engineered.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
I'm getting one from my little leaguer.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, a look, this is what I think
when that bat and that ball connect, it's a confidence builder.
So so I would say, yes, yeah, you know, anything
like little Bear running touchdowns? When in your life after
high school or college, if you play there, when in
your life are you ever going to run for a
touchdown it's true? Or hit a home run it's just
(06:03):
so great, or you know, win a swimming race, a
diving match, whatever it is, love athletics, show, Hey, changes,
walk up.
Speaker 8 (06:11):
Song, Darlene, Thank you for Darlene. Was the one who.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Stayed up for the whole day, Ellen, and I woke
up to the text.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
I went to bed real happy.
Speaker 8 (06:20):
Boo Blay is happy to show. Hey, welcome up to
this good is a baller song? Congrats show and coming
(06:41):
up we can go inside entertainment. You guys.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
Rick On White Lotus lives in a mansion in Thailand.
Speaker 8 (06:47):
That's the character.
Speaker 6 (06:48):
Can I ask one question about this? Is someone who
doesn't watch the show. Is he the one that's married
to Parker Posey in the show.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
No, okay, yeah, yeah, okay, that's Walter. Goggins is not
married to Parker post Oh, Walter is Rick, Walter Walter's
Rick and Gary is in one of the villa you
can rent it now anyway. We'll get into that too.
And I got to tell you we love you, Taylor Swift.
She wrote a giant check to Children's Hospital Los Angeles,
(07:14):
the biggest check that one Star has ever seen.
Speaker 8 (07:16):
You're going to hear the evidence next.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
More feel good is coming up on the Lank Morning
show Coast one oh three point five cost one oh
three point five. Inside Entertainment with llenk We got a.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
New medical drama coming out on Netflix today.
Speaker 8 (07:29):
It's called Pulse.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
So we we got to talk back on Talkback Tuesday
from one of our listeners saying, is this a thing
that er workers hook up with each other or you know,
in the medical profession, especially in emergency situations? And it
was the answers, Yes, But Pulse it looks to be
really good. It's on Netflix. This is season one. It
is out today. Also, Farmer Wants a Wife is out
(07:53):
on Fox, and I'm obsessed with Matt Locke. Kathy Bates
is a star of that show, and so we get
that again on ABC and Peacock not Peacock Paramount all right.
White Lotus creator Mike White came up with a plot
of season three in a hallucination while he was hospitalized
with bronchitis. Apparently his vision is pretty much what they
(08:14):
ended up shooting. So he said he was laid up
in the hospital, he was medicated, and he came up
with White Lotus Season three the best. And there's only
one man who's been in all three seasons, and that
is actor John Grease.
Speaker 8 (08:28):
He plays Gary.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
He can do more with a stare, I think than
most actors. And Gary lives in a villa. He's actually
on the run. He's hiding from everyone and he's in Thailand.
He's discovered by someone and no spoiler alerts, but he's
staying in a place called Villa Amara Vida and you
can rent it fifty seven hundred a night or she's
(08:54):
up to thirteen thy six fifty a night if you
want it all to yourself. Overlooking Pouquet, it's incredible. It's
a one acre property, sixteen person rooftop jacuzzi three pools,
man made beach golf simulator, sports court, sparoom and more.
Gary John Grease is also Uncle Rico in Napoleon Dynamite. Anyway,
(09:17):
we can't wait for that big finale ninety minutes coming
up on Sunday. And what about this Children's Hospital Los Angeles?
We love you so much, Ellen Pompeo. Mitt Taylor Swift
asked her for a donation for CHLA.
Speaker 9 (09:32):
I just you know, got up the hutspun, asked Taylor,
I could you write me a big old check for children?
Speaker 4 (09:39):
Why?
Speaker 9 (09:39):
She honestly, she knew me all but twenty minutes, and
that girl wrote me the biggest check without blinking an eye.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
My god, Thank you Taylor. Thank you Ellen. It's coast

and it's Coast one of three point five. Let's get
a happiness hack on our face.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (11:53):
So a bunch of TikTokers are going viral for this,
and I guess it works. I mean, according to a
lot of the other individuals who have far greater knowledge
than an influencer, they're saying, yeah, this is actually a
good thing.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
It is a banana peel all over your face.
Speaker 6 (12:06):
You may remember a couple months ago I used a
I did a happiness hack where applying a banana peel
can really diminish a bruise. Yes, so they're actually super
good for your skin. And now these banana peel scrubs
are being called natural botox tightening, brightening your face.
Speaker 8 (12:21):
Oh wow.
Speaker 6 (12:21):
So they contain antioxidants various B vitamins that hydrate and
protect your skin when applied straight to it. The inside
of a banana peel also has exfoliating properties.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
Get sort of dead skin cell.
Speaker 6 (12:32):
So you let the schmitz sit on your face for
about fifteen minutes, okay, after you do it in a
circular motion when you get out of the shower, and
then rinse.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
It off with cold b So let's just do a
how to. Yeah, yeah, we peel a banana.
Speaker 8 (12:44):
Uh huh? Do we scrape the stuff that went?
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Okay with the peel right on our face?
Speaker 5 (12:49):
Just take a facial mass yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
Okay, Yeah, so you got the peel on your face.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
Right, but you're rubbing in a circular motion.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
You're rubbing over the peel all over your face, circular motion.
Speaker 8 (12:59):
And how long do we do.
Speaker 6 (13:00):
You do that until it's all over and then leave
what came onto your skin for fifteen minutes, okay, and
then rinse it off with cold water.
Speaker 8 (13:06):
Oh yeah, okay, I'm doing it.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
Okay, give it a shot.
Speaker 8 (13:09):
Peals are packed with some powerful.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
Punch natural botox.
Speaker 6 (13:12):
Also, I've never done a full day, you know, kind
of looking forward to tomorrow's happiness hack. It's also gonna
involve bananas. We're gonna go live and we've never done
this before. I've never even tried it. Apparently you can
charge your phone with a banana.
Speaker 8 (13:24):
Okay, so we're.
Speaker 6 (13:25):
Gonna try this live tomorrows you not missed that bananas.
Speaker 8 (13:29):

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Good morning, I'm ellen K and we host Sunset. Strip

line previously opened a brick and mortar on a Fifth

we didn't see it coming, But it looks like Amazon
is about to buy TikTok. The massively popular social platform,
was said to be banned again on Saturday unless it's
China based parent company found a US buyer, And now
it looks like Amazon has stepped in at the eleventh
hour with a bid. So we'll see what happens there. Okay,
(14:26):
what about this? It's scary and strange. A SoCal teen
was just attacked by a sea lion. The fifteen year
old girls were covering after being chomped on by said
sea lion, although she was attending a lifeguard cadet problem
in Long Beach. Phoebe Beltran describes what happened during her
thousand yards swim test.
Speaker 10 (14:43):
I started like putting my head down, I started swimming again,
and that's just when I felt that pain and like
sensation on my arm of something biting me.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Oh wow, she's going to be okay. A lot of
cuts and bruises and bleeding. The incident comes after several
sea lines off our coast have been displaying bizarre behavior,
likely due to a harmful algae bloom. And showtime last
night at the Revine Dodgers do it again on his
MVP Bobblehead Night.
Speaker 8 (15:10):
The first Bobblehead of the season.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Show Hey at the plate bottom of the ninth five

Speaker 4 (15:18):
A center field Harris's back Hoo time.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
With the wind Dodgers now eight and oh but they
still have a few more before they break the record
for best season start. The Rays did it in twenty
twenty three. They were actually thirteen and oh to kick
off their season. All right, one more Dave, Iffy weather, cloudy, cooler,
twenty percent chance of showers. We're looking at some beautiful
blue skies in burb Bank and then we're gonna turn
it up a great run of seventies and eighties for
the weekend. Right now, it is fifty in Burbank and
(15:49):
we run on Celsea's Energy drinks. It's KOs to Los
Angeles Coast one oh three point five. We're sending you
to the Jonas Brothers at Dodgers Stadium. It's coming up
with your l and KQ and A. All right, Well,
his name is Armando Beltran and he is the father
of the girl who is bit by the sea lion,
Phoebe Beltran. Hear us do the story and top stories.
(16:10):
Armando is the dean of Belvidere Middle School in the East, LA.
So he wants to come on with us and next Armando, Yes,
we want to hear what Daddy thinks.
Speaker 8 (16:18):
We are the LNK Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
It's Coast one of three point five here with Ryan
and Daarr and coming up. We're going to send you
to see the Jonas Brothers at Dodgers Stadium. It's your
llen KQ and A. We play the game coming up
in about twenty minutes every day.
Speaker 8 (16:37):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
So we did the story and top stories about Phoebe Beltran.
She is the fifteen year old who is recovering after
being attacked by a sea lion while attending a junior
lifeguard cadet program in Long Beach. So it's the one
thousand yard swim test. If you ever swam out in
the ocean, I always get freaked out. But Armando Beltran
is the dean of Belvidere at Middle School in East LA.
(16:59):
He is her father her and he heard us do
the story. Armando, my god, So I know the bell's
going to ring in about an hour or so. Thank
you for taking time to come on with us. Where
happy to hear your daughter is okay?
Speaker 13 (17:11):
Oh, thank you, thank you said she's doing way better now,
I mean after a few days. You know, she's enjoying
the TENLA she's on during the camera she loves being
in front of the camera ography, so it's kind of
a therapy for her, you know. So it's really good.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
All right, Well, she's fifteen attending a junior lifeguard cadet
program Long Beach. In the middle of the one thousand
yard swim test, your daughter Phoebe felt pain in her
right arm and it was a sea lion biting her.
Could have dragged her under. She got away with injuries.
You must be feeling so grateful.
Speaker 13 (17:44):
Yes, well, first of what, from my point of view,
she had just finished her thousand miles, I mean a
thousand yards and as soon as she was like about
to come out of the ocean, that's when everything happened.
So for Mike dis is like, because I'm recording, I
was like, hey, those two people at the end, one
is that time my daughter. Sorry, I stopped recording. I'm
going to the the end of the of the test,
(18:06):
right and walking over there, I see a couple of kids,
like somebody's yelling like hey, then he help with it, Dinny help.
Then all of a sudden I hear it, yeah, and
how big are Oh my gosh, that's my daughter's boys
go hey, there's a short And then the life guards
there were there was two lifeguards in the ocean with
a surfboard. There was another life couard on a jet
(18:29):
ski making sure the kids were okay, and then I
guess they saw everybody else that you know, they were alerted,
and that's when they took actions. I saw the jet
ski guy tried to get between her and the sea lions,
and then that's when they poured her out.
Speaker 14 (18:46):
Of the water.
Speaker 13 (18:47):
And you know, great grateful we heard that. You know,
she came.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Okay, I can't imagine. Thank you so much for for
coming on with us and sharing your part of the story.
Speaker 8 (18:59):
I mean you said from shore. Wow.
Speaker 13 (19:02):
Oh, thank you so much. Okay, bye bye.
Speaker 8 (19:04):
All right.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
Armando Beltran, daddy of Phoebe, the girl who was bit
by the sea lion. He's the dean of Belvidere Middle School.
Speaker 4 (19:13):
I just read two Phoebe said.
Speaker 6 (19:15):
Once she heals up, she's gonna go back to redo
the test and try to compete.
Speaker 4 (19:19):
I'm sorry, Long Beach lifeguard program. Just give her the job.
She survived the sea lion attack.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
Okay, she loves the water clear, waits to be a lifeguard.
Speaker 5 (19:27):
Oh yeah, she's definitely brave enough.
Speaker 4 (19:29):
Yes, yeah, that's her job.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
This is exactly who you want on your lifeguard chair.
She will rescue all of us. All right, Phoebe, We're
glad you're okay, Armando Daddy, thank you for coming on
with us, and stay with us. Coming up, we are

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Yees?
Speaker 8 (21:47):
Yeah? All right.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Well, athletics is a great guest, Benny. We're happy that
you're into baseball. It is not the right answer. Oh well,
thank you so much.
Speaker 11 (21:59):
We have so much fun in this process.
Speaker 3 (22:02):
Yay, thank you for having us on in your car. Benny,
have a great day and have a great baseball practice
or game, whatever has happening today.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
We move on to Dina. Oh, Dina, San Bernardino Sheriff's Department.
Are you on the beat?
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Oh no, no, no no.
Speaker 11 (22:19):
I'm an office person. I deal with money.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
Oh okay, well, shout out to the San Bernardino Sheriff's
Department and to you, Dina. What's your guess.
Speaker 11 (22:31):
I'm going to say multitasking.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
Multitasking. Twenty five percent of us say that we are
awesome multitasking great guests. Not the right answer, darn it.
Speaker 8 (22:42):
Try again.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
We move on to Ontario. Iris is getting her home
retrofitted today. That's important and expensive.
Speaker 8 (22:51):
Huh.
Speaker 11 (22:52):
You have gotta be safe. Safety first.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
Twenty percent of people say that they're awesome at what.
Speaker 12 (22:58):
I'm gonna say, small talk like chit chat and stuff.
Speaker 17 (23:01):
We'll talk talk.
Speaker 8 (23:03):
Chat Ryan, you good at it.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
I think I'm okay. At it.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
Oh, come on, okay, So we're like having a Christmas lunch.
We're over at smoke houses right here by where we work,
and there was a group of.
Speaker 8 (23:16):
Retired seniors in the room over.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
Ryan grabs the mic and just starts flirting with all
the octagenarians.
Speaker 11 (23:25):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
I mean it was total small talk and they were
eating it up.
Speaker 8 (23:30):
I was like, who are you?
Speaker 7 (23:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (23:31):
I had a couple of glasses of wine and I
just started work in the room with these old gals.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Yeah, but you're part of that twenty five percent of
people who say they're awesome at small talk. And you
are right iris you are going to the Jonah Brothers.
Speaker 11 (23:45):
Thank you so much. I've been trying all week and.
Speaker 7 (23:49):
He did it.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
Of people say they're awesome at small talk. You a
small talker with big dreams.
Speaker 8 (23:56):
I keep going, are you good at it? Not real?
Speaker 18 (24:00):
No?
Speaker 3 (24:00):
I mean I don't think so let's talk all the time.
I used to get in trouble at school for talking.
Used to call me the telephone operator. Sit in the corner.
I said, to sit in the corner. Turned around.
Speaker 8 (24:14):
It was brutal and it's cost one three point five.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
Top stories top of the hour.
Speaker 8 (24:22):
Good morning, I'm Ellen.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
K and LA is expanding its program to install hundreds
of new solar powered street lights all the curb rampant
theft of copper wire. The installations kicked off last year
in Van Nuys, and this latest round will be going
up in Filipino Town and Watts City officials hope these
new solar lights will quote disrupt a costly cycle of
vandalism while also reducing our carbon footprint. And Apple quietly
(24:45):
added eight new emojis to our iPhones, including one that
might be the most used of the year.
Speaker 8 (24:51):
So this is what they dropped on us.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
A harp, a shovel, a fingerprint, a tree, a flag,
and a radish. There's one image in particular that has
captured most people's imaginations, an exhausted emoji that features dark
under eye bags, furrowed brows, and an exasperated expression. Phones
fans joking that this is going to be the most popular.
Speaker 8 (25:11):
It's going to take off.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Also fans rejoicing at the inclusion of the harp emoji
because it resembles the instrument on Guinness cans. So there
you go, and the Kansas City Chiefs inspired a hallmark
Christmas movie last year. Now it seems they want to
lock down the holiday in the future. The team has
requested that the NFL make them one of the teams
that always plays on Christmas, like the Dallas Cowboys and
(25:33):
Detroit Lions always play home games on Thanksgiving. NFL says, hey,
well think about it, and we love a local lottery.
Speaker 8 (25:40):
Feel good.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
We got another Justin Beatty just finished a major referb
on as well used Toyota truck way to go, Justin.
We're talking more than three hundred thousand miles on this baby.
Justin had to replace the head gasket, then decided to
take it for a test drive to Desert Hot Springs
just to see how it's running. He found a couple
of small value winning scratchers in the truck and decided
to pull them up.
Speaker 8 (26:00):
For a new ten dollars ticket.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
Mister Beatty got back in his ride to scratch it
and he won a million dollars.
Speaker 8 (26:07):
What a road trip.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
Congrats to you, Justin. And we do turn up the
sunshine today tomorrow we're going to go on a great
run of increasing temperature. So today your highs in the
mid sixties, and then tomorrow and into the weekend seventies
and eighties. It is fifty five in Burbank. We run
on Celsia's Energy Drinks. It's KOST Los Angeles, Coast one
of three point five. It's a therapy Thursday. What happens
(26:31):
when one of your in laws gets a little too
friendly with your mate. Sarah Dash, our licensed therapist, will
be here. We're going to tackle your troubles.
Speaker 8 (26:40):
Coming up Therapy Thursday.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
We're the only k morning show. It's Coast one of
three point five and we are joined every Thursday at
this time by our licensed therapist, Sarah Dash.
Speaker 8 (26:53):
Thank you for being here in studio.
Speaker 14 (26:55):
Thank you for having me.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
Well, you're helping a lot of people in the Southland
and we wanted to share this message with you.
Speaker 12 (27:03):
My sister in law keeps on kissing my husband on
the lips, and she's really flirty and he seems to
really like it.
Speaker 14 (27:13):
Okay, okay, your sister in law not respecting boundaries with
you with your husband and also with her husband. But
where I think the problem lies is it's more with
your husband than with this woman. I don't even hear
this as really being a discussion. Yeah, so so so
(27:34):
much as a statement Okay. You know, it's not a
back and forth.
Speaker 8 (27:38):
This isn't a dialogue.
Speaker 14 (27:39):
This is I don't like this. It makes me uncomfortable.
That's really all that needs to be said.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
Oh, that's right, if you would just speak up.
Speaker 14 (27:47):
Yeah, that's really the statement that she needs to make
to her husband. She needs to say, I don't like it,
I'm uncomfortable with it, and then he needs to run
with it. And if he wants to use these same
words to this woman, they might help, but it's really,
you know, it's his responsibility to take care of you know.
Speaker 8 (28:04):
I agree.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
I've had a real life situation like this. There was
this lady who did business with my husband, and this
was years ago, and she would literally we would be
at like a mixer or a party or whatever it was,
because she worked in the industry. She would get in
between me and him.
Speaker 8 (28:26):
We'd be facing each other.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
She would just come right in front her back to
me and just get in his face. Well just and
I was like, what in the world, And so I
let it happen one time and I walked away, and
then the next time it happened because it was like
every time I just said, excuse me, hey, you know, Roy,
(28:48):
we need to go over here or whatever. I would
physically remove him, okay, from that area because he wouldn't
do it for himself because well, but I do business
with her blah blah blah.
Speaker 8 (28:58):
And I'm like, yeah, well it's rude.
Speaker 14 (29:01):
I think a partner needs to be willing to hurt
someone else's feelings to protect their partner's feelings.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
Right, Yes, that's it. You've got to defend.
Speaker 14 (29:11):
Really your partner's feelings or somebody else's, and sometimes the
choice has to be made.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
Yeah, and they come first. So true, So what do
you do? I do think that it is the husband's fault.
I mean the in law's coming at him, sister in
law kissing him on the lips, and he's laughing about it,
and clearly it bothers his wife.
Speaker 6 (29:31):
Maybe it's uncomfortable after though, it's the fault starts with
a sister in law.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
Really she's the one kissing on the lips.
Speaker 3 (29:41):
But just as we just said, you've got to be
able to defend, deflect, and defend.
Speaker 8 (29:45):
It's almost like a.
Speaker 6 (29:47):
But he wouldn't have anything to defend if she wasn't
kissing him.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
You see where it's starting. It's her fault.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
Do you have an over zealous relative in your life
that makes you jealous?
Speaker 8 (30:01):
Give us a call. It's eight hundred ninety nine chaos.
Speaker 1 (30:03):

Coast one O three point five The Ellen k Morning
Show stream us on the iHeart Radio LAP Thanks for
your calls.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
Okay, So therapy Thursday are therapist Sarah Dash came in
and she dealt with this. We got a message. I
don't know if we could bring the message back or not.
Speaker 14 (34:54):
Right.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
Perhaps it's his sister in law keeps kissing her husband on.
Speaker 8 (35:01):
The lips.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
And she's super flirty, and we don't have to go there,
but he seems to enjoy it.
Speaker 12 (35:10):
It is my sister in law keeps on kissing my
husband on the lips and she's really flirty, and he
seems to really like it.
Speaker 3 (35:21):
So that was a talkback and I loved what Sarah
Dash said. She said, that's not a discussion, like, that's
take action. And Ryan, you say it's the husband's fault
or sister in law's.
Speaker 6 (35:34):
Fault, right, because there would be nothing, there would be
no action to take if this woman wasn't just kissing
this guy. You have to think about where the problem starts.
It starts with the flirty sister in law. She's the problem, right,
trace the cord of the wall where does it plug
in with her?
Speaker 3 (35:49):
It's good to Daniel. Oh, we got so many calls
on this Dan that you heard there of you Thursday.
You're also dealing with a kisser? What's going on?
Speaker 12 (35:57):
So?
Speaker 2 (35:57):
I have a new client at work and she's great.
The only thing is it's kind of awkward because she's
a full on mouth kisser, like lips on lips, and
she does this thing where she like grabs your head
and it's almost impossible to get away. But I'm just
not used to this, so I don't know how to
go about it. Do I say anything the word? Do
(36:18):
I just go on for the kiss? Or do I
try to keep giving my cheek to her?
Speaker 3 (36:23):
I don't know, you know, I don't know that I
would say anything. I feel like saying something. There's no
nice way to say.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
Yeah, it's definitely awkward on all parts.
Speaker 8 (36:35):
So you got to make a choice.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
What would bother you more that mouth kiss or not
getting that money?
Speaker 12 (36:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (36:40):
That money?
Speaker 8 (36:41):
Well that's a pretty clear.
Speaker 3 (36:43):
Choice, I'm Daniel, But really, why should be either or
it should just be Look, this is professional and I'm
here to do a job and this is distracting me,
and I don't like it.
Speaker 8 (36:55):
You stand up for yourself.
Speaker 6 (36:57):
I think we should all just agree to stop kissing
each other on the lip in a relationship. That's the
blanket rule.
Speaker 18 (37:05):
Say you're leaving on a seven third training at your head, Nons.
You've been giving me the line so many times it
kind of gets like feeling bad.
Speaker 20 (37:17):
Loves fun, times of man, kind of.
Speaker 6 (37:33):
Sounds of loud.
Speaker 7 (37:35):
Tell it, Josy, you.

But you ain't wearing nothing.
Speaker 7 (38:29):

And we love living here because you know, this is
where music and movies are made.
Speaker 8 (41:12):
Like we're right there in the middle of all of it.
Speaker 3 (41:14):
Think of all the movie stars you've seen in the wild,
just when you're out doing errands. Not an event or
like the star ceremonies that I host, those don't count.
Speaker 8 (41:24):
This is just out in the wild.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
I was at my god, Pacific Palisades, a hardware store.
We lost it in the fires, but there he was,
Martin Short.
Speaker 8 (41:37):
Nice.
Speaker 3 (41:37):
He was trying to find the right length of screw
for something that he was fixing at his house. And
it's just so fun to see, you know, like, no,
there's Martin Short, weren't you?
Speaker 4 (41:46):
I forget what to store. This was watching Jeff Goldbloom
taste pasta jealous.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
Yes it is the little Bristol Farms on Sunset and Fairfax.
Speaker 4 (41:55):
Yeah, he didn't want oil in it.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
Jeff Goldblom's standing at the deli sampling and he wanted
the pasta salad but it couldn't have any kind of
weird oil. It had to be olive oil, okay or nothing.
And then he was tasting it.
Speaker 8 (42:09):
He's I don't know. I don't think. I think I
taste something else. So he was at the deli. Let's
see who else?
Speaker 3 (42:15):
Oh, Un McGregor at Starbucks waiting for his Mac, his
mac Daddy coffee.
Speaker 8 (42:22):
It was just Mac on the cup.
Speaker 3 (42:24):
There's the only two in there. That one was on Losienago.
Speaker 5 (42:28):
I'll never forget we were together.
Speaker 10 (42:30):
I'll let to go watch a movie at the striman
Oaks Galleria and on the escalators on the opposite side
was Viola.
Speaker 8 (42:36):
Davis's going up the warehouse store.
Speaker 5 (42:40):
Is this the lady from How to Get Away with Murder?
Speaker 8 (42:42):
There she is Viola Davis in the wild.
Speaker 6 (42:45):
I'm convinced that mister t goes to the Ralphs on
Ventura every day. I have almost any time I'm in there,
he's there, really, Oh, and he talks to everybody.
Speaker 4 (42:53):
He'll just walk the aisles. He should say hi, yeah,
I have yeah.
Speaker 8 (42:57):
Oh that's awesome.
Speaker 3 (42:59):
Okay, Well, movie stars, because all the movies are made
right here. There's a great new show about movies. It's
on Apple TV Plus. It's called The Studio seth Rogen
is the star and it's he's a movie head, a
movie boss, and it's really really good. Ron Howard's on
the latest one. But the American Film Institute put out
the top three most famous film scores. Number three is
(43:24):
Lawrence of Arabia.
Speaker 7 (43:28):
Big.
Speaker 3 (43:32):
We had to watch this for school when I was
in the eighth grade, So that's number three. AFI's top
three most famous film scores. Number two composer named Max
Steiner made this one.
Speaker 8 (43:44):
It's gone with the win.
Speaker 3 (43:53):
How beautiful have you ever been in the studio when
the orchestra is there and they're making a film score.
I did it one time, got invited by John Williams
to watch it was during Armageddon.
Speaker 8 (44:09):
It was beautiful.
Speaker 3 (44:12):
He's number one John Williams, but not with Star Wars,
the most famous film score of all time, according to
the American Film Institute.
Speaker 8 (44:22):
If you're in the freeway right now, chills.
Speaker 4 (44:26):
Yeah, you can do anything.
Speaker 8 (44:29):
This music gives you the powea. So go out there
today and get it.

Leona Lewis, Eddie Murphy, Wayne Newton, Jenny Garth, Paris Jackson.
Speaker 4 (45:30):

Speaker 6 (45:33):
I thought he was like an old like rem brand
I didn't know he was rolling around here with like
in modern days.
Speaker 4 (45:38):

Speaker 8 (45:40):

Speaker 3 (45:43):
Okay, Alec Baldwin, Adam Scott, Severance, Happy birthday? Are you
in any or an AUTI today?
Speaker 8 (45:51):

Speaker 3 (45:52):
