Speaker 1 (00:00):
Thirty four, thirty four, thirty four, thirty thirty thirty four,
thirty four.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Okay, welcome to episode thirty four of Sip in Tequila,
and we gotta before we get into anything else, we
have to give a recap of the pool party.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
The great time we had. Honestly, what a time, What
a time? I remember it all, so do I. Well,
it's a blurb, but I do remember. I didn't black out,
unlike unlike my husband. Oh, he was having so much fun, man,
living his best life.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Lights were on, but nobody was no literally, and he
has really bad anxiety about it because he's like, let's
run it back.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Because he agreed we should run it out. They got
Jazz isn't.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Here because she would be trying to convince me. So
what she did was she came in here. She was like,
you know what, the summer is long. I feel like
you need to have another one. Because she didn't drink.
She's sober right now, right, and so she's like, I
feel like I need to experience it sober and drunk.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
But yeah, well, I mean, whose fault was that. I'm
just kidding. I support her sober journey.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
But like, yeah, but this is once a year. This
is once a year, and this is I think now
because I don't really care for like drinking that much anymore,
but this is the exception, you know what I mean.
It's an it's annual. This was the second annual pace.
If you're gonna drink, this is the day you do
it for real. And it was it was wild to
say the least.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yeah, honestly, that slip in side so much fun. I
had a sore chest the other from the slip in side.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Though my arms were sore from like having to pick
myself up from the slipping slide.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Oh my gosh. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
But here's the thing. It was like a Western theme,
and the reason why we even gave it a theme
this year was because we had like this, it's like
a mechanical pool bull, but not like a mechanical it's
like a pool bull.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Yeah, and like it's.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Really hard to stay on it. It's really it's like
from PBR and you would have to jump on it
and try to stay on it. But it's so I
don't know how they designed this pool bull, but it
literally doesn't allow you to stay on it. Wow. Yeah,
we we uh you know, practiced before the pool party
and then the day of the damn pool party, this dawn,

(02:10):
this damn bull popped.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Bullshit.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
What the hell? It wasn't even a little hole. It
was a big asshole like this that we couldn't. We
could have patched it because it came with like the
things to patch it that happened, but you have to
leave it resting for twenty four hours.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Oh my gosh, that's so sad. Wait, so did you
do it?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
No you never saw it because it freaking popped.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Well yeah no, but like you still haven't done it
to this day.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Patched it?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Patched it, yeah, because like it was literally for this
where'd you get it from? Uh?

Speaker 2 (02:42):
This was like from the PBR website.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Say, if it's from Costco or Sam's Club, you can
just return it, right, It's so true. Yeah, no, we
can patch it. But the thing is like, we're not
gonna do this theme again, you know what I mean?
But you still have a pool that's true.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Yeah, I mean we we can.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
What are you gonna do? Just throw it away? Don't
do that? Yeah, exactly, patch it.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Anyways, the pool party was crazy. Yeah, I'm fucking pissed
about that bowl. But we had our competitions like I
think I said it in the podcast. My sister has
her crew, I have my crew, and we decided to compete,
and it was stupid relay race like around the pool.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
It was very complicated from what I saw, Yeah, I
in some parts of it.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
So it was like a slip and slide first, and
then you go and play flip cup, but you have
to bounce the ball into the cup, spin and then
flip the cup. And it was three cups and then
you had to throw these ring It was a ring toss,
and that's where a lot of people were fucking up
because it was really hard and we're all drunk, so
it would take everyone forever to make even just one

(03:46):
when we had to make three. Then after that you
would have to get the water gun and shoot a
cup from a pyramid yep, and then tag the next
person to go. Took up most of the party, but
it was so much fun to the parties.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
You guys are sore losers. Oh my god. Your sister's
team was just too.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Good and they're good forties.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
That's what they still got it.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
They got it because okay, they won the first game,
we won the second one, and then the third game
was a rematch and we fucking lost. We fucking lost.
We're still talking about it in our group chat, like,
how the fuck did that happen? Like, how the hell
did they beat us?

Speaker 1 (04:25):
It was a ring toss.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
It was a ring toss. Yeah, well, I feel like
they got most of our team drunk as hell.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Oh so you think you think that they were plotting.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Plotting, was passing out those jellow shots, like there was
no tomorrow, and they were walking around like we usually
walk around with the bottle, but most of them were
walking around with the bottle and pointing it down our throats.
And Baby was trashed. Even though he did good in
the games, he was still so trashed.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Yeah, Like you said, the lights were on, but no
one was because he was standing on that table and everything.
I don't think I've ever I seen him say it
on the table. I was like, he's I know, Baby's lip,
but he's an extra lid.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
That day, that table was barely holding on.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
It was.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah. Anyways, I think I'm barely starting to feel a
little bit better. And that was two weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Two weeks ago. It was crazy, Yeah, but that comes
with age.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
And Pooky. Pooky had a great time oh my.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
God, my pooky Bay went and oof. Yeah he got
drunk throw up on the side of that part. Yeah,
well mine ended up throwing up on the side of
the porter party. But he rallied, Yeah, he rallied after that.
It was weird. It was like a full hour of
me being like, you litter, get it together. Like I
was so pissed. I was like, bro, literally, right now
is not the time, if anything, he should be taking

(05:41):
care of me, you know, yeah, yep, yeah, but then
yeah I was taking care of him and then yeah,
well I didn't. I was like, good it together.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Funny because in the video I posted of like the
games in the far back you can.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
See here's my eye.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah you see your ass to get care like the Yeah, yeah,
that's funny as hell.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Everyone's walking by he could. I'm like, yep, he's good,
he's good. And then baby comes around. That's all right, man,
that's what it's all about. Bro, did he really?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah? I'm sure he is not.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Literally, it was so drunk.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
God, it was it was great.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Yeah. Jazz Jazz had fun. I'm glad this was her
first year.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
I was so like just excited about those while she listened.
They did not disappoint. Jazz brought some that her niece made.
And then Aliyah, who's our other coworker who came. She
brought some cookies from her sister's business. Beautiful cookies. Beautiful cookies.
But I heard they didn't get eaten. I didn't even
see he got eaten.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
But a lot of them fell on the floor.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
I didn't even know.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Yeah, no, when they were all like still going when
sun the sun was down, they were getting going in
on the cookies period period. I didn't get to tryumph,
but they were going. I remember looking at the window
and they're all sitting there with the cookies. I hate
them from the floor scross. Yeah, yeah, they're drunk.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Yeah it is what it is.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Okay, Love Island talk.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
I love Love Island. I'm in now on this. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Never ever cared for reality TV shows. I think the
only reality TV show I've ever watched was Jersey Shore.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Oh but that's a good one.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Yeah, season one when it came out, because I was
like when I was in high school, but never watched
like the Kardashians, never seen love and hip hop, never
seen batties any of that. But I jumped on Love
Island because I remember how big it was last year,
which was season six, right.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
The season six was incredible. There will be I don't
think there will be anything like it. They actually have
a spinoff now of that season six cast.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Did it just start?

Speaker 1 (07:39):
It just started or something. I haven't actually watched it yet,
but yeah, we'll report back on that one.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
But why would they like start it at the same
time as season seven.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
That's weird to me, probably because like just a Love
Island nostalgia us like loving our favorites, you know, something
else for us to watch that's Love Island. Yeah, because honestly.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Something else to watch. It's crazy because we get a
new episode every night and they're an hour long, and
I'm like it's so hard for me to keep up
with that.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Girl. No, I'm clocked the fuck in sad. I'm sad
in every seat.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Oh my god, I'm like just working very hard to
keep up. Yeah, because it's a lot because like I
with my with my friends Angel, Raquel and Sam, we're
in a group chat and it's like they want to
talk about it, but sometimes they won't because they're like,
Susie's not caught up, and I'm like I'm trying.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Fine, you just need to give those kids an iPad already.
You can have that TV to yourself.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Real well, I think this this, I mean, this is
the only season that I've watched, but I'm enjoying it
so far. But I did hear that the previous season
had better looking people.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Oh for sure. Oh yeah, especially like the bombshells. Like
this season, the bombshells are not bombshelling the chicken.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Yeah, she's not really doing it for me because like.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Yeah, she's so basic. I mean, I don't get me wrong.
I like her vibe, her energy and everything, but yeah,
I don't know how much she's gonna bring to the show.
You know, she went in immediately got with Charlie. I
feel like they're going to try to write it out
for you know, the show. We'll see, like what happens.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
I think Charlie just wanted someone.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
I think, yeah, he just wanted someone anyone. Yeah he
said that too. So I hope, like, you know, it
is love for them. Will they be my vote? No?

Speaker 2 (09:19):
But so we get to vote.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Yeah, so like depending on like the different eliminations, they'll
you know, tell you on Love Island and you just
download the app and you can actually vote which couple
you think has the best odds and or like your
favorite couple. There's different categories that they'll like let you
vote on, and then essentially, whoever doesn't make the top,

(09:41):
you know, best couples the bottom. The bottom couples can
either leave or they'll the Islanders will have to vote
off a couple from the bottom. Oh yeah, So it
does get juicy in that way because it puts the
Islanders in a tough position where they're having to vote
off their friends. Yeah, but like a miracle America or

(10:03):
ultimately makes that choice interesting. Okay, Okay, I know a
lot of people don't like you know, Austin either. I mean,
don't get me wrong, like he's a good vibe whatever,
but I just don't know that like he, you know,
is really having any matches. I don't think that he
like I think he's vibing with Shelley or whatever, but

(10:26):
well it's like he just spreads with everybody. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
I feel like Shelley's just being nice to exactly me too.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
I mean I think she's like, you know, trying to
look you know, deeper, but I don't know that it's
there yea and same. I think he might have something
with Amaya.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
I feel like they did have something going on, like
they were both dorky.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Yeah, and there each other's vibe, like, yeah, they can
definitely match each other's freak.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
I just thought it was messy how Ace shows a
Maaya over Shelley because it's a clear's day. And I
think a lot of people agree that he's just wanting Shelley,
but wants it Shelley to chase after him.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Right, No, it's so true. Well, and that's the thing.
It's like, I don't understand his reasoning because he had
the option to choose Shelley.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
He chose before Austin.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
He did, so that's where it confuses everybody because he
could have he had the chance to share the bed
with Shelley unless he because he says he's a slow
burner and stuff. So I don't know if he thinks
that putting himself in a bed with Shelley would mean
that he's like gonna, yeah, lock it in and you know,
take that chance. But that's a thing. It's like, it's
love Island. You gotta take the chance, especially early on.

(11:34):
You got to figure that shit out because then you
can actually get to know the people.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Right, there's this whole theory that Ace kept Amaya because
he thinks zech Amayah and Jeremiah could have something that's
so weird to me though, Yeah, like I don't see.
We know Amaya was interested in Jeremiah, but I don't
think Jeremiah I don't know that time of day.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Yeah, well my problem is I don't think that that
will be like because Ace Will was already complaining about
Oh sorry, did I like throw away my picky? You know?

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah he did say that twice.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Right, So like if he's already complaining about it like that,
I don't think he would use his pick anyways to
help a homie out, Like I think Ace is just
you know, he would. I think he had, his intentions
were maybe right for him. I just don't think it
resonated well with her, especially because like.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Trying to like create a game plan or is trying to.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Like possibly my thing is like you telling this girl
that you're still open.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
So we're eating Pringles as we're recording.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Yeah, we're eating Pringles hot ones, shoot my by.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
They're still freaking good.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
They are so good. And he's telling this girl that
he doesn't want to like lock it in all the
way right after they just coupled up. So like, friend,
why are you like even picking her if you're like
right after her.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
Now, yeah, I did think like her reaction was a
little emotional and dramatic.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
I agree. I agree, but.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Now like watching his moves, it's annoying the hell out
of me too, Like how could you not react? You know?

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Well, yeah, And that's the thing is like she she
is someone who is emotional, and I just don't think,
like she said, they're clashing, So I don't think that
they're like meant for each other either way it goes. Yeah,
I just don't like his reaction either. You know, that
night after the coupling up, I don't think he needed

(13:39):
to just like bring it up right away that he
wasn't gonna you know, he was still gonna talk to
other people. And then the next day just the way
he handled that conversation too, is just like he was
staring blankly at her, like he wasn't giving her much
and it was just and she's just one of those
people that like needs you know, communication affirmation, which I get,
but also like, yeah, I do think that she.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
Did in a very like respectful way he did.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
I just if something feels off about him.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
I think so too. I just think that I don't
know how much of it is him or how much
of it is the producers, you know, telling him to
like or navigate things this way. You know. I'm curious
to see how this plays out because I don't know
if we're seeing the true genuine Ace because it doesn't
feel like him. It feels like he's playing a character

(14:29):
with some of these actions that he's because I thought
he was cool coming in, but then all of a sudden,
like he's giving douchebag, you know, But I don't like
that either.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
So what do you think of Arizona Chick? Sierra Sierra?
Where is Sierra from? Because they just said Arizona?

Speaker 1 (14:43):
She's Scott still, Yeah, Scott's sell something like that. You know,
I don't mind her, Like at first, I really didn't
care for her, but like now she's I guess, kind
of grown on me.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
She's kind of growing on me too, specially because she's
so like so mature, yeah spoken, and like you can
tell that she doesn't really act on emotion whatsoever, Like
she's got a clear mind. Yeah, you know, she's like,
I don't know. I kind of liked how control she is.
I don't know what she's doing with her lip. It's
pissed me off.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Bruh. I noticed that first time she walked into like
it just be up, it don't go down. It's it's
a filler.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
It's a filler. She's a sweet girl, and I'm starting
to like her more and more.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Yeah, well, that's the thing. I like her because she's sweet.
I don't know exactly like what she's gonna get out
of this experience because I think like I just need
a nick. I don't know that they're gonna work out, like.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
You need more drama there.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
There's about to be drama with with Bella. Like that
whole situation I think is you know, like whenever Bella left,
but they had him and her nick kiss about that.
Oh yeah they did. Home last night's episode.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Well, the drama working again. Tonight's episode is the Maya
and Shelley going at it, and I'm like, do not
come at my girl, Shelley, right, No, Shelley's that girl.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
That's the thing I think about Amaya is like she
has a problem with just not letting other people speak,
like I noticed that off the bat, you know, and
you can tell in the previews that that's gonna be
interesting because I don't think Shelley's gonna like bow down
to that either, and so it's going to create some
tension that's going to be interesting to watch because all

(16:17):
those day ones are gonna be writing for Shelley.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Yes, hell, yes, especially Eleandra mm hm oh yeah for sure. Yeah, yeah, houdah, huddah.
I don't know, should have been I don't know. She's
just in the gutta for me. I fear my girl.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
I had so much hopes that she'd be cool, but yeah,
right now, I just don't feel like she is talk
about immature, you know, like yes, just like I just
think that she's a little bit immature, you know. I
get why she's all like locked in boot up and
stuff with Jeremiah, But at the same time, like I
just don't think she should have held out the information
that she was a kid for so long.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
I think she should have explored her a little more.
Like it just happened so fast, but he was love
bombing her, so it's like, let's feel good as a girl.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
But that's the thing. It's like, don't fall for a girl.
You claim you're as smart as you think you are,
you claim you're you're so mature and everything, then let's
see that. Let's see you use your discernment and your
you know, your intelligence and really play the game and
show these boys that you're not one to you know,
be made a fool of, because I think that's what's
gonna happen, because I see Jeremiah as a little playboy.

(17:28):
Don't get me wrong, he face oh my god, but.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Too beautiful to be that like loyal and loving.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Right, That's what I'm saying. Bro, he's a cheater. He's
a cheater. And me personally, I do think that people
can change. I don't believe like once a cheater, always
a cheater. At Noah, I'm good. I mean sometimes I do. Well.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
There was a study that came out recently where they
did a like a test on two thousand people and
they found the results were that once someone cheated, they
were more likely to cheat again.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
And that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
They were trying to see if that phrase had and
he likes uh huh, you know, meaning to it or
accuracy to it, and he did.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
And me personally, I think that as soon as somebody
like a bombshell or they go to cossa more and
he catches somebody's eye or somebody catches his.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
Eye, he's gonna because that's what he wants.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
Yeah. Well, And that's the thing. It's like, I hate
to say it, but like he's the type to turn
his head and especially like he'd be like, oh you
don't got a kid? Perfect yeah, you know, because he
already doesn't seem like he's sold on it. Like his
reaction was not good, not good whatsoever. That's what I'm saying,
and it doesn't it didn't get better, Like I don't
know the way he's talking. It seems like he's just

(18:39):
like one foot in, one foot out, And I think
that's why Ace is clocking it. But I'm also not
sure if Ace clocking it has to do with Ace
really trying to like look out for his friend, or
if it's like because a slow ki wants hooda.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
That's what a lot of people are saying on TikTok
that height want hooda. But I don't think he does.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
I don't know either, But that's the thing, I don't
know how much of it is him and how much
of it is the producer's right, because maybe the producers
are like, hey, like, yeah, call this out or you know,
have you noticed this? And then he's just like all
of a sudden telling all the other cast mates about it.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
I do feel like Taylor's not into a Landra the
way she's into him.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Yeah, I don't hear her well. And the thing is too,
like I think she's kind of like, you know, letting
it be a slow burn, trying to see if she's
like really fallen for him or like anything like that,
because I honestly don't think that, Like, you know, together,
they they look good on paper, you know, yeah, but
at the same time, like because they both come from
that same country background, but at the same time, it's
like you just don't see that romantic spark.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
There's like no chemistry. You don't see them like giggly
yet with each other.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
You just see them being homies and everything. And that's
how what I see. They talk about, you know, everybody
else's relationships and stuff, but like that's their most common ground.
I feel, yeah, And I feel like she is trying
a little bit harder, especially when she cooked for him.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Yeah, I know, you got her cooking for you.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
Right, and she's not going to stick around forever. We'll see.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
I know.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
I'm excited. I'm excited for more dramas to unfold.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Okay, we'll keep you. We'll give you that Weekly Report.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Yeah, the Weekly Island Report. You're gonna love it.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Yes, man, I can't believe I'm so deep into this. Okay,
Carol Ge album. Did you see she announced the new album?

Speaker 1 (20:20):
No, I did not ro g.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
It's a girl dropping an album June twentieth, I believe,
And it's called Tropa and it's a different vibe kind
of like Bad Bunny's the new album. And she's been
accused of copying Bad Bunny. Oh, but it's okay. Carol
g is my girl. I fucking love her, especially Herman album, Like, oh,

(20:45):
that was a great album, great album. I went to
her first show of that tour that was in Vegas
because she didn't even come to a zy, Like I
really like all her music and just like she seems
genuine to me, Like when I watch interviews and stuff
like that. I love her music videos like I'm you know,
Carol G stand but lately on my TikTok for you page,
I've been seeing a lot of comparison, comparisons of like

(21:08):
the work that she's done copying a lot of other artists.
Like there's a reason why her because you can see
kind of like the whole Haley Bieber copying everything Selena
Gomez does, the same thing is happening with Carol g
Ye does her copying the like business, not the like

(21:32):
the way that bad Bunny has moved in the music industry.
She's kind of following like his blueprint and doing what
he's done to be I mean, the bad Bunny of
the females.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
I can see. So there's like two sides to that
coin though, right, because it's like I could see where
it could be beneficial for her if there's a formula
like that's that is the music industry. It's as a
tale of oldest time. There's a formula, you follow it,
you get rich, you get you get fame quick, you
know whatever that is. So it's like I could see how,
like you know, that could happen. As far as like

(22:03):
the actual copying of other artists, especially the females, that's
a hard day.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
They compare the music videos, they compare like the outfits
and all that and it's always like people have the
dates of when something was released, like this artist before
she does it allegedly, but this is like, no, let
me show you. So this is oh my gosh, what
the heck? I know, I saved it. It's like the
little teaser video of her announcements for her album. Oh actually,

(22:33):
this right here is a video you can swipe and
see like all the stuff that she's copied. I mean,
who knows if this is accurate. The album does sound
like a party album, like it's gonna have more like
Huban style, more tropical music hence TA, So it's gonna
be like Lively, which I'm excited for. I just I

(22:57):
feel bad that the Internet is tearing her apart like this.
But sometimes, like if your team is pitching these ideas
and they're getting it from other people, like you really
gotta sit down with your team and be like, yo,
we got to be authentic with everything we do because
the way the internet is just watching you, like they
will notice absolutely every day, will notice any shady activity.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
Yeah, and there's a lot here. The hard thing is
it's like, you know, there's there's not room for you know,
a lot of new stuff to make way. I mean
some of the most of the time, you are going
to be like doing something somebody else has done or whatever. Yeah, unintentional, right, unintentional.

(23:38):
Maybe I don't know that, you know, she's necessarily sitting
there looking at what everybody else has done. But and
if she is, then maybe it's like not even that
she's copying. Maybe it is that she's inspired, you know,
yeah so, but also it is if you did get
the inspiration from somewhere, I think that that should be noted.
I know.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
That your work.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Awkward.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Her song Latina Forever, yeah so good, such a hit,
but also got heat for that.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Oh god, I.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Know right now. That's how you know you made it
is when everything you do say yeasted, yes, and it's
criticized and they find a negative. So she got heat
for that song for not mentioning Mexicanas because she mentioned
and all that, and it's like, dude, she would not
have time to mention all Latinas. You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (24:31):
I noticed it too, Yeah, I know, but I.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Was like, Okay, Mexicana is like an ouch. But I'm
not like, you know, gonna boycott her or her song
over it. Like it's not that serious. But they're like,
there was somebody saying, like you when it comes to
like marketing and you know, making money, Mexico is like
one of the ones you don't want to let it

(24:55):
leave out, you know what I mean. That's definitely one
you want to like. If you're smart in business, you
have to include Mexico somehow, right. But yeah, whatever, and
maybe it just didn't rhyme.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
That's probably what it was. Poor girl, just because it
didn't rhyme, or she could, she couldn't make it fit.
It was just yeah, she's catching heat for it, but
it is what it is. You take that risk.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Yeah, we'll see. Hopefully she doesn't become like the hazey
beaver of Latina artists.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
Yeah, hopefully not. I think from at least from the documentary,
I got the vibe that she's, you know, trying to
be different. She's she's really trying on her work. It's
not necessary because I didn't get the vibe that she's like,
oh don't you see how so and so did it?
I wanted like this or anything like that, at least
from what they showed in that documentary. I do think
that it's one of those things where she has a

(25:44):
vision of her ownself and her own mind bigger and bigger. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
and like the fact that she is going bigger and bigger.
You're right, a lot of people are probably looking at
it more closely.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
I don't know that. I don't know though, because if
there's beef, then yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
I think has like made it clear that she don't
fuck with her.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
But I don't know.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Anita and her are cool that I know of, but
there was rumors that her and Shakiro were not okay
at one point. I don't know, because they had like
they have a song together and they did the music
video together, but then afterwards kind of seemed like things
were weird shady between them.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
That is weird. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
But it's always like, you know, sometimes someone makes themselves
look so good and then they have that other side
that people don't know about it. Hence behind Diddy, right
like the mobile the guy and now you see this
whole dark side to his whole life. So there's that.
I mean, the Diddy trial has kind of like died

(26:45):
down a little bit. It's been a lot of his
ex girlfriends, a lot of Jane Doe's talking about their
experience with Diddy. The only news that we've had is
that he did file for a mistrial for the second
time and the judge denied it. We're more than have
done with this, and I thought I was gonna get
juicier towards the end, but it's just kind of like more.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
Of the same, more of the same thing.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
So I don't know if this is gonna be good
for like the whole racketeering sex trafficking purposes, more for
the sex trafficking purposes, I think so.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
Yeah, yeah, I think that's what they're really trying to
drive home, right, So.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
We'll see what happens. Yeah, I think we have like
three weeks left of it and that's it.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
I don't know if they have any more witnesses lined
up either, or who else is notable that they would have,
but we'll see.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Yeah, okay, well that's it, right. How long did we
record for twenty eight?

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Twenty eight? Feeling great? Yeah, never late. We'll see what
happens getting I'm always late, they're not always oh yeah,
always feel like bad. I know it's too bad. It's
so funny because like, you know, my people, my family
and stuff. They be giving me ship sometimes because I'm

(28:03):
late and I'm like I'm on brown people time. But
it's funny because I'm not even like brown skin, like.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
That name name.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
I have a Mexican ass name, but I look wet
as Yeah, I mean.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
You look Mexican, but you look like you look wet u.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Yeah. Been told that, but they should I tell everybody.
I think my dad was drunk in the delivery room.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
There are some kids that are born looking like a
little darker and then they light up.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
That happened one of my grandma's. Yeah, she like, well
she I think she had the skin condition like like
when he Harlow had there where it's like the whiteness
starts coming through you age and stuff. So like she
whenever she was younger, she was like really brown, and
then as she got older then she was like white,
like interesting, like really white white. Yeah, it was crazy.

(28:57):
It was interesting.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Well a lesso, my one year old was born a
little dark and all of a sudden, he's like really
white with green eyes, And I'm like, did they switch
him right up? Straight up with my brother looks like that.
I have a few cousins. My mom's mom was like that,
like light light hair, light eyes, and pale askin actually

(29:20):
she was like pale as hell.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Well that's where it probably where he gets it from. Then, well,
next episode, we gotta talk more Love Island and you
gotta watch Ginny and Georgia already, okay, because I'm barely
keeping up with Love Island. No, I'm telling you, give
those kids iPad.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Or what's up medicine with them? Make some sleepy meloton melton, melton, kidding,
just kidding,
