Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bailey's never been his hanging in studio? Are you giving
it the official curve and everything?
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Like, I'm just like, you know, okay, let's let's get
it fixed up here.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
Make it happen, my guy, make it happen. You know,
it's been a minute since we caught up with Bailey's mmerman,
and dude, your entire world remains absolutely on fire.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Thank you, dude, thanks thanks. How the hell do you met?
Speaker 1 (00:22):
Like a handful of years ago you were just a dude.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Yeah, I'm like still, I am just to bed. You're
more the dude than a dude right now.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
How are you managing all that?
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Man?
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Cause it it has been like a wildfire for you.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Dude.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
I'm just blessed to be alive. Man, I'm just blessed
to be here for real. Every day I just wake
up and I'm just like, Okay, let's keep working, Let's
keep going hard and try to keep locking in and
making music because it's kind of like you know, what's next,
what's next?
Speaker 1 (00:53):
You know, there are artists who have like a slow
burn to get where you're at right and there's a
lot of like pride swallowing moments and lessons you're learning
on the fly.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Oh yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
What are some of the hardest lessons that you've had
to be like, well, shit.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Man, it's honestly just the basic ones like don't don't
get drunk before shows, don't do that because that doesn't
make sense, which you know, yeah, listen, you know if
you want to have beers after cool.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
But you know, I learned that the hard way for sure.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
But there's been a couple others that it's just the
normal things. I'd say that you're just like, Okay, dang,
and I can't do that, like, dang, you don't do this,
like but for the most part, I feel like I
feel like I'm doing pretty good on not messing everything up.
You know, you haven't. I haven't messed everything up yet,
So I'm like, okay.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Yet, I almost you're not good at all.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
But at the same time, I think it's pretty cool
because when those moments surface, and they do for everybody,
not just you. The only reason why it looks bigger
is because you're doing big.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Stuff right.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
But your fans immediately. You never have to defend yourself
your fans a right right away or like he's a
he's a dude.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Yeah. Yeah, literally like let him live, let him live
his life, let him have fun.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Man.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yeah, And that's and that's the thing.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
I honestly, I just appreciate the accountability that I have
now because everybody did have my back. It really gave
me this sense of like, Okay, they like they're gonna
forgive you, but you can't sit in grace.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
You know.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
You can't just sit in it and like be like, oh,
give me grace every time. You have to learn from
your mistakes. So you know, that's where I'm at now learning. Uh,
definitely won't be doing that again. And just overall in life,
I've been locking in, dude. I've been like, Okay, I'm
gonna be one hundred and ten percent me every single show,
every single day, and I'm going to start doing the
(03:02):
right things and taking care of myself. And because I
have so many people that are counting on me and
I can't let them down again, I'm not doing that.
It felt awful. It was like the worst feeling ever. Man.
It was just the worst. And now I'm like, Nope,
I'm crushing every single thing I do because I have
to prove to everybody that I'm freaking meant to be here, bro,
I want to be here.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Plus, if you start letting people down. Lou has a
very expensive home with the pool in the backyard. That's
what Bailey Zimmerman hits.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Yes, I don't how are my manager is going to
have fourteen homes.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
That's what I'm saying. If I, if I don't keep
working hard.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
House Tom Martin's in the pay for Silverado.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
You have these people, Yes, I have a lot of
people counting on me. Yes.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
It's been a minute since we caught up with you.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
One of the one of the biggest things most recently
is you're part of the iHeart Country Festival. As this
interview airs, it will be after because the song will
have come out and it'll be it'll be after the
Ihart Country Festival. So we're gonna little Smoke and Mirrors.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
A show like that.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
I mean, it was you, Cole Swindell, Rascal Flats Brooks
and done.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
What's the situation like that?
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Because you've been a part of festivals in general, what's
the situation like that where you come in and there's
all these massive names who have been doing it since
you were in middle school.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
And to be a part of Yeah, it's nerve wracking it, Like, dude,
it's you could only imagine, right, Like you got all
these people and you're like, well, I better not mess
this up because.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Everybody's watching me right now.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
So yeah, for sure, it's like but it's kind of
been like that, you know, for the last two years now,
Like you know, when I started going on tour Morgan
every night, bro is like, gosh, Hardy and Ern and
Morgan are like watching what I'm doing, and like, you know,
I got a freaking crush this, So it wasn't the worst.
But obviously having all those names in front of you,
(04:54):
whoa insane dude.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yeah, it's wild. Oh yeah, I don't think.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
It'll ever go away either. I don't think i'll because
I'm always a fan first. I always try to say
that like I grew up listening to all these people
and never expected to ever be in this position that
I'm in, So yeah, it's insane to be in front.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
It'll never go away. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
One of the first interviews we ever had with you,
you were talking about you had just bumped into Morgan Wallen, right,
and he's a guy that you looked up to. You
didn't really know what to say, well, your relationship with
him has definitely grown since then. What's it like to
go from a fan of his too now? I mean, really,
he's a coworker, he's a cohort, he's somebody who's got
your back. You guys have toured together. What's that relationship
(05:37):
like and how important is it to you?
Speaker 2 (05:40):
Man?
Speaker 3 (05:40):
It's still still just like super surreal, but also at
the same time, like it's like yeah, yep, like this
is just what I'm doing.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
I think it's so surreal because I.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Can't believe I'm in like this position in life to
be around people I've looked up to for a long
time and to be thought of as like one of
one of them, I guess, like a country singer and
a country artist, I guess. So I don't think that'll ever.
I don't like, I'll never be able to like understand that.
So I think that's what makes it like, Dagan, this
(06:12):
is really it's still like really cool. And when my
friends are like, dude, is it is?
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Is it cool?
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Like no, and Morgan, I'm like, dude, yeah, freaking heck yeah,
this dude, it's freaking I've listened to this guy since
I was like fourteen years old, dude.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
So yeah, it's really cool.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
And dude, the guy has had my back when he
didn't have to and he's definitely just been there for
me a lot, and that's what makes me just go, yeah, like,
I really love this dude every time. He's always had
my back. And yeah, it means a lot.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Outside country music is unless you really pay attention, you
don't realize how like it's a family and everybody's got
each other's back, and there's and there's I mean literally
everybody knows everybody, everybody's a fan of everybody, everybody's championing everybody,
which doesn't happen outside of the country world.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yeah, they don't have to do that, you know.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
So so outside of Morgan, what are some relationships that
are like too, and whether it's a big name or not,
what are some relationships that are really important to you
for where you sit today and maybe whose opinions are
very high on on your music and whatnot, ma'am.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
So I would say it's kind of just the people
that put me on when they didn't have to, like Morgan,
Like Morgan put me on when he didn't have to
put me on, and Drew Baldridge put me on when
he didn't have to put me on, like he was
just a champion of mine early you know, sent me
a number, yo, hit me up if you need anything.
Same thing with Morgan, you know, is like I would say,
(07:42):
you know, like Hardy as well, big a big idol
of mine, and he's just like he put me on
and he didn't have to and he did, and like,
I don't know, it's there's a lot, there's a lot
of more artists like man, there's so many, I can't
even name them all, but they're just like so many
(08:04):
that have like brought me up, Jason Aldan being one
of them, Luke Brian being one of them, Like Luke
freaking Brian, dude and Jason freaking out Dean, Like what
even is that? And they dude even like yeah, like
it's so crazy, it's hard to even think about.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
But there's been so many and ah wow.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
But the cool thing is you can see in your
reaction and when you start to think of these names,
I'd imagine moments are playing in your head of like them,
showing support or meeting them, and it's the cool thing
is to see like that the end time reaction of
like you're like, damn, dude.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
No, dude, I don't want to keep bringing this up.
But Luke Bryan, after I really messed up at kan
Koum brought wanted me to come over to play a
song with him. After I had taken a nap and
got my you know, got my stuff together. Yeah, I
got some water and stuff and it's not funny, but
he brought me back over and dude, I thought he
(09:02):
was I thought he was gonna be upset, and dude,
he was like worried about me, and he was like, hey, man,
I just want to make sure that you know that,
like we care about you man, and we don't want
to see you like do that.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
We want to see you win.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
And everybody here is championing you and and Jason was
like yeah, man, like we love you man, and we
want we want you to like win and this and that,
like you're badass and all these nice things. I'm like,
I just messed up your show that you had me
come play, and you're like it's just insane, and that's
that's what makes me like super appreciate everything is Like, dude,
(09:35):
they didn't have to do that. They could have just
wrote me off and been like yep, well whatever, and
they did it and they like really care about me,
and yeah, just really means a lot. And that's how
that's why, that's how important it is to me, Like
I'm really getting it together now. Like, yeah, you could
call it being young or whatever, but I have a
big opportunity and I obviously was taking advantage of that
(09:56):
and not appreciating it. And I would say, now I've
really realize, like how just disrespectful to the fans and
to everybody that was And I'm like, Okay, locking in,
I'm gonna be one ten all the time. I'm gonna
like I'm doing it, so yeah, I appreciate it so
much that I'm gonna like really get my shit together.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
You know.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Love that love that you are a guy who is
not a stranger to collabse you've do I mean, and
you've been all over the place with them, right, It's
not just like in the Country Lane, which we're about
to talk about this one with Luke Colmbs, but like
all over the place where on the Fast and the
Furious soundtrack, like what like a year ago, Yes, you
worked with the Jonas brothers.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
You random right, big X the plug.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Is any part of you are you hesitating about collabs
because you're still very much like introducing yourself to mainstream
country fans, right, like a lot of people may know
your music but not recognize you at the grocery store
or something like that. Is any part of you like,
hang on, I don't want to collab too much, or
you like screw it, I'm having fun.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
No, Honestly, I'm more about let's make sure we get
the perfect song that we both are really excited about,
and then we both really go in on it and
we want people to hear this song because we love
this song so much. And that's kind of where they've
just been coming to, where I'm like, yeah, I really
love this song, Like this is fire, like the Big
(11:20):
X song. When he sent it to me, it was
just like, yeah, I really love this song.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
I've been a fan of Big X.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
I can name almost every one of his songs, so yeah,
this is.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Like gonna be fire.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
And then we cut it and then we listen to
it and you're like, Yep, that's freaking fire. And then yeah,
and then you know, same thing with you know, the
Luke Combs song. I had always felt since I got
the demo before I knew Luke. I said, man, Luke
Combs would freaking crush this song with me. But I
(11:54):
didn't have his number, you know, So I'm not gonna
like go get his number and try to text him.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
I'm gonna I'm more of an organic guy I want
to have.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
I want to know him, and you know, vice versa
to where he like wants to, you know, collabh me
and he likes me. So ended up getting invited to
do the concert for Carolina with Luke, and we met
that day and we just like kicked it off and
like we were rehearsing this song and it was just
(12:21):
like immediate, like man, you're cool. And then he was like, yeah,
you're cool. And then we took a selvy and stuff
and then so he gave me his number at the
end of the day, and I was still really nervous
to send the song. But then I was like, all right,
screw it, I freaking I'm literally here right now on
a prayer, like on a godsend, so just send the
(12:42):
freaking song.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
So I texted him.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
I was like, hey, man, I've been wanting to send
you this for a while, but you know, I've just
been nervous. But I just figured I'd just send it
to you, so like, you know, let me know what
you think. I think you would crush this whatever. And
then he didn't text me back for a month, and
it was like, and.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Did you think did you think it was a fakeful number?
Speaker 2 (13:06):
No?
Speaker 3 (13:06):
No, no, I I it wasn't a no. So I
was like, okay. I was like, I know he's I know,
he's really busy. He's got a big family, he tours,
He's literally Luke Comb's so I'm sure he's really busy
and I'll.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Just give it some time.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
And then like a week went by. Then like two
weeks went by, and I'm like okay, I'm like I'm
still letting this, you know whatever, because I you know,
we had a good connection.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
He'll text me back, I you know whatever. So then
he's literally like all over the world.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
So I had this insider that was like, yo, Luke's
been jamming that song, and like so just like whatever,
like Luke's been jamming that song. I'm like, okay, all right,
I bet it was freaking Luke the whole time. It
was a freaking insider. But anyways, I don't know, it
was It was funny because I guess he was just
like jamming it, you know, because it's a big deal. Like,
(13:57):
you know, I'm sure he doesn't just be like, yeah,
I'll get on whatever song.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
You know, he's gotta love the song.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
So then like a month later he texts me back
and he goes, Yo, this song rips. I'm in And
then I was like, holy freaking crap. And then when
he cut it, it was like, oh yeah, this song
freaking rocks and yeah, so that one was like super
(14:23):
organic and he loves the song.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
I love the song.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
We we did content for it, and he was like, hey,
I don't I don't usually do this, but you know,
he's like, you know, if I'm gonna do it, i'm
gonna do with you. And I'm like, all right, dude,
let's do it. It's fun, you know, And we had
the We had the best day too, dude, making all
the videos and man, just everything around this song has
been so much fun, dude.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
So I'd say that is where I'm at.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
With like Collapse is like if it's sick, if we
both love it, then I'm in. Yeah, So it's gotta
be something you're passionate about and you're freaking you.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Know, like yes, like run through the Yes.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
I freaking loved this song and I love this artist,
and I can't wait to hang out with you and
do all this stuff with you.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
It's freaking do it. It's gonna be awesome.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
So many songs are just an idea on your phone
or maybe there's a demo and then they just die
or they just sit there forever. Yeah, would this song
have done that if Luke Combs didn't get on it.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
No, I probably would have put it on my album.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
But I was super praying that Luke was gonna get
on it, dude, cause because I was like, man, he
would just really make this song, you know, you know,
he made it what it is, man, and he added
a lot to that song and it made it what
it is, and I just knew it.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
I could hear it.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
I'm like, yeah, I could put this out, But man,
if Luke jumped on it, this would be freaking badass,
you know, this would be freeing awesome song. So yeah,
but yeah, it would have came out on my album.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
It's called Backup Plan And it's funny because when you
hear the title and we know the history of some
of your biggest songs, you're like, okay, just breakup or
like right right, met somebody else, whatever, and it's not
it right. It's like it's more bet on yourself and
get your shit together type song.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
It's a story about I didn't write this song. I
didn't write the song, and this is what I'm saying.
It just made sense and I loved it and I
felt like, man, I could have wrote this. You know
what many people were telling me I was great. I
tell the story like at the end of every single
show every night. You know, people who told me I
was crazy because I was quitting my job and I
(16:27):
was gonna try to be a country singer.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
And then everybody like.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
Kind of was like, ah, dude, like this guy is
literally crazy, like whatever, and then it worked and it's
like I'm literally here right now, and I just think
it's such a testimony too.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
And the same thing.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
My first show was with Luke Combs. My first full
band show was with Luke Combs. It rocked the South
in twenty twenty one and I played at two pm.
Nobody was there except four of my buddies were in
the in the you know, in the yeah so in
the lawn so and now I have my first I
(17:05):
have a song coming out with him, or I have
a song out with him. I mean, like it's insane,
like the full circle moment, and the testimony of the
song is like, YO, don't have a backup plan. Chase
your freaking dreams because you never want to like look
back and go, man, what if I what if I'd
have done that?
Speaker 2 (17:24):
What if? What if? Don't be a what if or
man like?
Speaker 3 (17:27):
And that's what this song is about, is chasing your
freaking dreams, not having a backup plan and not listening
to anybody telling you that you're crazy or it's not
gonna work. They don't even freaking know you. You know you,
So go chase your freaking dream Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
When you started out, and I go back to the
first time we talked to you, and we've talked at
like award shows and stuff. The confidence you have in
yourself now and how you carry yourself now, it's it's
almost like you're a completely different dude from when you
first thanks walked in. I mean, the confidence you have
and you're having fun and you can tell you believe
(18:01):
in yourself. You obviously surround yourself with a fantastic label,
and I'm sure the rest of your team is awesome.
How important was that for you to get in a
more comfortable spot versus like because when you start doing
everything is so awkward.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Interviews are awkward.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
You know, you're meeting people who have listened to all
your music. How do you get over that to be
in the confidence about you sitting now? Because it's got
to be hard work.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
Man.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
I don't know, honestly, I think you just become more
you and you just go, Hey, I make music and
I'm me and I can't be anybody else but me,
And so if you love me, it's gonna make it
a lot easier for me and you to be friends.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Because I love everybody. But some people, you know.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
Some people don't you know, don't be liking my I'm
upbeat all the time.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Some people don't like that.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
But that's okay because if you don't like that, then
you're probably not my energy either.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
I'm an upbeat person.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
I'm I want to have fun and be a little
off the wall, and just I don't know, say whatever
you want and have some fun. I don't know, So
I just I would say I became more me and
I'm just like I am who I am. If you
don't like that, then that sucks because I wish you did,
because I like to be friends with everybody. But yeah,
at first, you're just like, I think you're trying to
be something that you think you should be, and then
(19:20):
that gets really tiring, and then all of a sudden
you're just like, Okay, well I gotta be me, guys,
because I'm really tired of being not me. So here
I am as me Bailey Z.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
When it comes to social media, you post a good
amount on TikTok and you're not afraid to be silly goofy,
singing along making chalky milk or whatever. Yeah, but how
many of those do we not see? Of you just
being a clown?
Speaker 2 (19:51):
How many of that?
Speaker 1 (19:52):
How much of that you are?
Speaker 2 (19:53):
You?
Speaker 3 (19:53):
Like?
Speaker 2 (19:53):
No, that was dumb?
Speaker 3 (19:55):
Yeah, you know, I don't even I'm usually like a
one taker. I'll post it, because that's another thing with me.
I'll put it all out there. I'm just like you
know what, I'm trying everything. I'm just gonna put it
out there. If it don't do well, well, good thing.
If I wake up tomorrow, I can post another video
and we'll just keep on going. Now the retakes sometimes
(20:20):
I'd be doing retakes. I'll be doing retakes sometimes. But
you know, doesn't everybody exactly. But yeah, no, I just
put everything out there because I'm just like, nope, this
is me.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
Throw it out. See what it does.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
Because sometimes it stuff you think is so dumb, they're
gonna think it's so funny.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
So I'm like, all right, whatever.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
And then if they think it's dumb, you're like, oh, okay,
all right, we'll try something again tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
Last thing I want to ask is you shared just
how absolutely Jack you are this new song with Luke
Colmbs it's called Backup Planets Out Now. How do you
not to say you're not excited for your career and
all that, but like, how do you stay just as
excited for the next song?
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Because it's a new journey man. Every song is a
new oh Man. I love every single part of from
like thinking of the idea of the song or starting
with the chords on a song to like, Okay, you've
written the song and now you're gonna cut the song,
and then now you oh, we love the song, and
now you we need like how are we gonna do
(21:26):
our thing with it? And you know, make sure people
know about it and do they like it? See if
other people like it, Like everything that goes to all
the way to like after we release it and we're
talking about it and promoting it. Like I don't know, man,
I just love it. And it's it's kind of like
(21:46):
it's so rewarding when other people love the work that
you do, and it's like super like yeah, rewarding when
you have put all these plans together and you start
to execute everything that you've made up in your mind
and all this creativity that you've just thought of and
worked on for so long and so hard on to
start working and like people are you know, loving it
(22:10):
and being like, oh, we love this, dude. There's no
other feeling like that in the world. Like and then
people being like, hey, dude, that new song you got
is badass, dude. That is like my number one fueler.
Like I'm like, dude, you have no idea actually how
much that means. I'm literally gonna go home and try
to write another one right now so I can just
continue to do this and like have songs that help people,
(22:31):
have songs to help people party, have songs that just
like I don't know, man, just something about being an
artist and being able to create every single day just
like gets me freaking amped.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Bro like, and I'm not gonna lie. I've got bad days.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
You know, you got bad days where you're just like down,
But these days it's pretty seldom Cuz, man, I'm just
chasing my dream one day at a time, right, you know,
just the real world. Man, It's it's crazy. I literally
was living in a trailer with my mom like four
years ago.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
So now like I saw that movie eight Mile.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
That's not a real thing. No, it's a real thing,
and honestly, it's so funny. It's kinda is.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
It's like the real thing, except not as like rough.
Yeah it was.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
It wasn't the hood, it was in the content. It
was still.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
You brought something up that that sparked, and Tay always says,
because Tay will like go through this audio later, she'd
be like, you said last question, and then talked for
five more minutes. But this is for sure the last question,
because Tom's like.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
We got it all.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
You you brought up having bad days. Everybody has bad days.
What is a song of yours that got you through
a bad day that maybe you would suggest to a
fan like, hey, if you're feeling down, like I got
this and just one of your songs, not something that
you would go here, but like maybe a song of
yours that like can pull you out a hill man.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
It's I'm not trying to sound cliche, but backup plan.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
I've had that song for.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
M man a long time. It's been sitting in my notes. Man,
I would say maybe it almost a year ago. I've
had it for a long time.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
And.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
I've had a lot of also following your face moments
in the last year. And Dude, every single time I
just think of that song, like, well, what are you
gonna do?
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Quit?
Speaker 3 (24:24):
Like You'll never know if things get better if you
just quit, and like you're just like what are you
gonna do? Be a freaking wizz, Like get back up, dude,
Like you literally have this song that you love that
you're about to put out like and so, And it's
like the whole testimony of like if I had to
quit when everybody was like, oh, this guy sucks and
I was reading on the comments that freaking sucked, it
was an awful day, awful week, awful couple weeks.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Dude.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
If I had quit there, I wouldn't have a song
out with Luke Combs right now.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
I wouldn't have a song out with Big exra Plug.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
That's like my highest scoring hot you know, hot one
hundred song.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
I've ever had. I wouldn't I wouldn't be here with you, like,
you got to keep going. That last the biggest. Yeah,
it's a big deal, dude, It really is. And dude,
it's just.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Like, uh ma'am, you got to keep going when the
world knocks you down. No backup plan, getting back up, bro,
get back up and keep freaking going because then tomorrow
you might make a freaking you know, you might do
something that changes your life, but you'll never know if
you quit today. So man, it's a big deal, dude. Yeah,
so backup plan it, dude. It gets me through for sure.
(25:27):
It's helped helped me be positive.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
There it is, dude, I know you're busy.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
Thanks for hanging dude, Thank you for having me. Bro,
let's go
