Speaker 1 (00:01):
You are now Angela what I call her yee up.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
All right, it's way up at the Angela Yee. And
it is e election day today, So anybody who still
has to vote, make sure you get out there and
do that, all right. We cannot not vote today. It's
an important day. I don't know if we're going to
find out who wins tonight. I think most people feel
like we're not going to have all of the results tonight,
(00:33):
but it'll be very interesting to see how this is going.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
I'm actually nervous, so I'm working all day.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Today and all night, so but I'm paying attention and
I voted early. Behind the scenes, we were just talking
about Donald Trump being able to vote even though he
has a felony conviction, but he is able to vote
because he is not behind bars. He'll be sentenced on
November twenty six. So he was earlier, you know, convicted
of falsifying business records with those hush money payments to
(01:01):
Stormy Daniels, the adult film star. Thirty four counts all right, Well,
let's get this show started with some love and positivity.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Let's shine a light.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is a
number call us up. Let us know who you would
like to shine a light on. Let's start it off
with some love today. All right, it's way up at
Angela Yee.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
I'm a shine turn your lights on, y'all.
Speaker 5 (01:24):
Saw spreading love to those who are doing greatness. Shanna
light on them, Shine a light on them. It's time
to shine a light on them.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
All right, it's way up at Angela yee.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
I'm here, and I want to make sure that I
shine a light on all of the people who are
working at the polls and all of the election workers today,
all the election officials. A lot of this could not
get done without people working at the polls obviously, and
enough people so that things can get done really quickly.
So shout out to everybody who signed up to do that.
When I went to go vote, everybody was very pleasant.
(01:56):
They have to have the information that they need to
give you. They have to be encouraged, upbeat, and so
I just know that we have to encourage more people
to become POE workers in their communities. Is in some
places a critical shortage of POE workers. So we want
to make sure that people are encouraged to vote, make
sure that things go smoothly make sure there's free and
fair elections.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
So I just want to thank those people.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
I always go there, and when i'm there in person,
I also tell them thank you so much for working today.
And I saw there was some drama though. I don't
know if you guys saw what happened. Dan, did you
see this judge Oh no, with one of these Poe
workers in Atlanta or something like that.
Speaker 6 (02:34):
Oh I saw a story where a judge who was
off the clock online to vote got punched in the
face by someone.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Geesh.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Yeah, I'm telling you it's not an easy job to do,
so we just want to thank you. Yeah, Georgia Poe
worker threatened to bomb election workers. According to prosecutors, they
were actually arrested yesterday. They said that person sent a
letter threatening to bomb election workers and wrote to a
peer as if it came from a voter positivity. I know,
(03:01):
all right, Well, who do you, guys, who want to
spread some love to? Who do you want to shine
a light on?
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Stacy? Who you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 7 (03:06):
I want to shine a light on my life right now,
specifically because I'm just now getting over her cold as
even really tentative support she has a great heart, and
it's heart out here as a black man he's trying
to do, you know, Lidia, life in general, we got
to so many outside distraction. Seven keep my head like that,
but I just want to shine a light on her,
(03:27):
and you know things will give me great from love like.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
I love that for y'all. All right, well, thank you
for calling shining light on her. What's her name?
Speaker 7 (03:33):
Her name is Janelle for everybody call the Trees?
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Why did they call her tree?
Speaker 8 (03:38):
That's her middle name and she just preferred it.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Okay, all right, well Janelle aka Tree, shine a light
on you. Thank you so much for calling. Thank you
all right, Well that was shining Light eight hundred and
two ninety two fifty one fifty if you couldn't get through.
And it is election day today, so we have your yet.
When we come back, we'll tell you what Michael Jordan
had to do because there was a fake endorsement that
was going around. And we'll also talk about Will I
(04:02):
Am and his new song supporting Kamala Harris. It's way up,
they say in the rooms from industry shade to all
the gossip out angels feeling that it's way up at
Angela Yee and today let's get into some yeet a
lot of election things.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Michael Jordan, his camp was forced to speak out.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
There was a viral post on social media, and this
was on of course x where it falsely claimed that
Michael Jordan has become the latest to endorse Donald Trump
for president. That went viral, but Michael Jordan's reps have
denied that he has endorsed either candidate in this race.
They said, there is absolutely no truth to the claim
that Michael Jordan has made an endorsement in the presidential election.
(04:46):
So he normally doesn't even comments on politics. My producer, Dan,
you're shaking your head.
Speaker 6 (04:52):
Yeah. If there's one thing we know, it's that Jordan's
not making any political.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Endorsements, right are you. Historically he's not. Historically, he's never Historically.
That doesn't mean he never will, but no, never says But.
Speaker 6 (05:02):
Also, if you watched the Last Dance, that was a
big topic too.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Yeah, but that's a long time ago also, but that
was when he was still true playing basketball.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
So he is at a point now where whatever he
decides to do, he can.
Speaker 9 (05:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (05:15):
Everybody wears Jordan's though, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
And everybody's shots at home depot true, you know what
I mean? And you know okay?
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Anyway, will I Am in the meantime has a new
song supporting Kamala Harris and he said We're about to
have a woman president. The song is called Yes She Can.
And he also dropped a new video on his YouTube page.
Speaker 5 (05:36):
So redis them. Vote for your life. Do it for
your daughters and your sons and your wife.
Speaker 10 (05:40):
If you a woman, then vote for you right and
don't let him take away your rights.
Speaker 5 (05:46):
We could be better than we ever been. We are
about to have a woman with the dent. Hat's gonna
say that we can't.
Speaker 11 (05:52):
But the word American says that I can, and we
say yes she can, and we say yes she can.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
All right.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
That's a reimagining of the song Yes We Can that
he did for Obama's first run for presidency.
Speaker 12 (06:07):
By the way, how do you like it?
Speaker 2 (06:09):
It's cuteous country is Yeah, it's a kid song. I
gotta watch the video.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
Numbers are on it.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
I know we put that out. In the meantime, Speaking
of Rihanna, you hear the Rihanna playing.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Rihanna is joking about using her son's passport to vote
at the polls because she's not a citizen here and
so she hasn't changed her citizenship. Her son's resid and Riot, though,
are both US citizens. They were born here. But if
she could vote, she would be voting for Kamala Harris.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
I'm sure we know that.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
But somebody said, how the f can you live here
and been living here if you aren't a US citizen?
And she responded, tax is dummy. And so you know again,
everybody who can vote, make sure you go out and
vote today. All right, Well, that is your ut. When
we come back, we have about last night. That's where
we discussed what we did last night. Man, my nights
(06:58):
have been. I'm still a little bit. I had an edible,
I still feel okay. Can anyone tell you know?
Speaker 6 (07:04):
I was gonna say something.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
I know you were all right. Well anyway, it wasn't
like how what Kodak did. But it's a little yeah.
All right, Well, anyway, when we come back, we have.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
About last night. In the meantime, here is some future
and Drake, oh life is good.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
It's way up.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
N So about last night went down.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
All right?
Speaker 2 (07:27):
His way up at Angela yee, and it's time to
talk about last night. So yesterday I've been giving way
a whole bunch of clothes, so I was dealing with
that again.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
I realized that I have.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
An enormous amount of sweatsuits. Clearly that's what I like
to wear all the time. It's so hard because some
of them are like, this is still a good sweatsuit.
Some of this stuff still has tags on it. But
you know, got a purge, Purge, Purge. Then the other
thing that I did was I had to get a
massage yesterday. I have been neglecting myself and not doing
what I need to do. And so to Shahlik. He
(08:02):
came in to the house and did the massage for me,
and it was amazing. But I took it edible so
I could be completely relaxed, and I was definitely I
definitely still feel it now. So while you laughing, Dan,
you thought something was wrong with me.
Speaker 6 (08:16):
I could see it in your face.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
You could see it.
Speaker 6 (08:19):
Yeah, I thought you were just tired. I just talked
out for being tired.
Speaker 13 (08:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
It took a little because I was like, you know,
if I'm gonna get a massage, I might as well
like doing anything wrong. Yeah, be at home, just relax
do that and then I was exhausted, and then I
also know with the daylight saving time, it also makes
you tired earlier because we actually went back.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
An hour, so it's really like an hour later. So yes,
that's what I did.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
But the other thing that has happened since last night
and this morning going through my messages, a lot of
people are concerned about the election today because I feel
like when you are reading online, depending on what you're reading,
you see all different kinds of information like, Dan, what
have you been seeing?
Speaker 6 (09:02):
Voter interference, intimidation, how you know you have to be
careful and watch out at the lines. But I also
feel like that's kind of like a scare tactic right.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
US election officials are saying that voting should be smooth
and people should not be misled by conspiracy theories because
people will get discouraged from going out to vote, and
people also don't know if they're eligible to vote, they
think there's going to be long lines, they're concerned about
the weather. They're saying that still, make sure you go
out and vote. Don't pay attention to people acting like
(09:32):
your vote doesn't matter, if you feel like it doesn't count,
or if it's all a sham or whatever that is.
Speaker 6 (09:38):
Voter is suppression, especially the Swing states.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Yes, yeah, so you know, one woman is talking about
how she had to get registered to vot shed It
was tedious. She had to place numerous phone calls to
become an active voter, and she said she wants to
be able to make a difference though, and it's important.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
It's a crucial election.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
There are also people that have bad weather challenges in Missouri, Arkansas,
Illinois there's a flood watch and effect. Yeah, so people
are saying some of the roadways are flooded. There's been
power outages in California, dry air, gusty winds, things like that.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
But again, this is what we fought for.
Speaker 6 (10:18):
Wober and LIFT is also offering half off right to
the pulse. Okay, perfect, take advantage of that.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
Definitely take advantage all right.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
So I want to know how you guys are feeling
today because I've been getting tons of messages from people
who I don't even always speak to. Is people's family members,
my own friends hitting me up like what do you
think is going to happen?
Speaker 3 (10:40):
I'm nervous.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
I didn't realize Prop one was like just all kinds
of things as people are going to vote, what their
experience was like going to vote. We want to hear
from you. How are you feeling today? It is officially
election day. I don't know what's going to happen. Are
you nervous or are you thinking that perhaps there might
be some some things happen later depending on how maybe
(11:02):
Donald Trump is setting it up for people to feel
like this whole thing is rigged and things need bad
things could potentially happen. How do you feel eight hundred
two nine two fifty one fifty call this this up.
We want to hear from you because this is your show.
Speaker 5 (11:15):
It's way up, yeah, yeah, more way up with angelay
on now.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
What it is?
Speaker 3 (11:22):
All right as way up at Angela yee.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
I'm here.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
We're in the building. We are getting ready for election day.
I mean today tonight. Is you know all your votes
will be in there's no extensions on that. I'm nervous, Dan,
How are you feeling?
Speaker 6 (11:38):
I would agree I'm nervous. I feel like this is
the presidency where like most of my life changes are happening,
Like I'm getting married, I'll be having kids, I'll be
buying a house. All within the next presidential cycle. Cycle correct.
So yeah, it's definitely made me think more this time
around than any other.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
I'm extremely nervous.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
The reason is though, that there's like people who are
making decisions based off of wrong information and that bothers
me the most. And also seeing even the impact that
maybe at Elon Musk has from owning X and the
things that I see on there, I'm like, who are
these accounts that I don't even follow.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
I have no idea who they are, but all I'm
getting is all this Trump trump trump trump stuff.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
The algorithm, Yeah, it's taken over and it's like, this
is not what I would be looking for on my feed.
But I also wonder how other people are affected, people
who maybe are not going to go in and look
at the news themselves or watch the people are saying themselves,
that are hearing things and repeating things that are into
and that's how so much misinformation has has gotten out
(12:42):
this I think this election in particular. But we want
to see how you guys are feeling, because this is
your show. It's all about you, Cassandra, how are you
feeling about everything today?
Speaker 13 (12:53):
I feel if.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
My husband and for some reason now I got to
pick up a can to see who's the daddy.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Oh wow, that's what I feel like.
Speaker 7 (13:05):
I have never felt like this before in my life.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
Oh my gosh, it's multiple times today.
Speaker 14 (13:11):
I take the day off.
Speaker 13 (13:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
The anxiety right from not knowing what's about to happen,
Like it could go either way.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
You know what you want it to be.
Speaker 7 (13:21):
But God forbid, Listen, if I have to teach some
stake for four more years, I'm not.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
Gonna survive it.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
All right, Well, thank you for calling and sharing with us.
We're in this together, Yes we are.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Hey Mark, Hello, Hello, good morning, Good morning. How you
feeling today?
Speaker 15 (13:37):
I'm doing pretty good.
Speaker 6 (13:38):
How much your spoff?
Speaker 3 (13:39):
Oh you know, I'm okay. What are you thinking? Like
election day? How you what about that?
Speaker 5 (13:45):
You know?
Speaker 15 (13:46):
I feel like this election is gonna run like your
twenty twenty elections with the miscouncil things like that. Unfortunately,
I don't think it's going to work in our favorite
you know, we'll come all again in the office. And
I also think that there's gonna be a point to
where it like Trump had like the propulist votes. I guess,
so he won, you know, over majority, and hopefully you know,
I mean, it doesn't turn out that way. But the
(14:07):
way Americans are going, man, you can't holy but you know,
first year the future.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
So you're preparing yourself for the worst.
Speaker 15 (14:14):
Preparing myself for the worst, and I just hate that,
you know, like basic whites will be taken.
Speaker 9 (14:18):
Away, you know what I mean.
Speaker 15 (14:19):
We don't get out, damn vote for the white person,
get the right person in the office.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
Did you vote?
Speaker 15 (14:23):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (14:23):
Definitely, definitely, okay, just making sure well. Thank you for calling, yes, maam,
Thank you, Hannah. How you feeling today?
Speaker 16 (14:30):
Hey, hey, Hannah, I'm great just from here. You are
always the whole life. Heard you on one on three
jams and knowing you got your own, thank you.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
It's a blessing, Hannah. So what what are you thinking
today about election day?
Speaker 16 (14:46):
I'm trying to give everything to God. I'll be honest
with you. I am for Harris all the way. I
feel like I have a daughter. And it's really deep
to know the rights that can be taken away in strips.
There's so much deeper heart of just hatefulness in one's
face that it speaks so much already before so many
other things. You know, I think about handmade pal I.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
Don't know if your man, yes, but like all those restrictions.
Speaker 16 (15:14):
Yeah, and like of woman. And that's what I think
about when I think about Trump and office, and it's
it's very emotional. But my anxiety has been off the roof.
I'm literally on the way to go vote. Honestly, I
was scared to this vote and didn't want to at all.
But there's no way I cannot.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
You're bad about that?
Speaker 15 (15:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (15:33):
All right, Well, thank you for calling, Hannah.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
Have a great day you too. Everyone.
Speaker 16 (15:37):
Please go vote, all right?
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Please again, Like Hannah said, please go and vote, and
when we come back, we have your yee tea. And
let's switch scares a little bit. Mike Tyson talks about
sleeping in bed with two tigers. Do not try this
at home, guys. It's it's Mike Tyson. He's different. It's
way up.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
Sure, the lid ab off this, but let's get it
angelus feeling that yeats, come and get the tea.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
All right, it's way up with angela.
Speaker 4 (16:04):
Yee.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
I'm here and it's time for ya yet. And first off,
let's talk about Mike Tyson. Now, he does admit and
we all used to hear the stories about Mike Tyson
and how he had tigers, and he had to sell
his pet tiger after it bit somebody and bit off
a woman's arm. To be exact, well, here's what he
had to say about actually sleeping in bed with the tigers.
Speaker 10 (16:26):
I did have three of them, two at one time,
and I did sleep with them. So that was a
big mistake because they're very possessives when they start fighting
each other because they want to get close to you
and the other ones in the way, And then you
wake up in these two big monsters of fighting and
you know, yeah, it's really.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Crazy, all right.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
So you can watch that, yeah, on Netflix, but quite interesting.
I would never, by the way, take that chance. Mike
Tyson is a different type of human being. I have
to say that, all right now. TII has been spotted
already and posted with Young Thug since Young Thug came home.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
We know the two of them had an amazing relationship.
And here's what that sounded like.
Speaker 9 (17:09):
Hey man, once you got TV people, hey man, ain't
no more cat inn captain. May you feel what I'm saying?
Speaker 6 (17:16):
Right way? It's tired, right way?
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Ron All right, So t I had to make sure
he was there first and foremost to visit Young Thug
as he should. Now it looks like Keisha Cole is
single again. Her and Hunter apparently have broken up. She
posted on social media media a single as a s
F as F and that's interesting because just celebrated their birthday.
(17:40):
They have music together. We actually have a snippet of
the song Don't Let Me Down.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Oh all right, Well, maybe they'll end up getting back together.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
You know, sometimes people to go online and announce it
they're broken up, only to get back together hopefully, all right.
Nicki Minaj is pursuing her college degree and in addition
to that, she's also going to be resuming her Student
of the Game charity that is for barbes who need
help with college.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
She said, more info to come.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
We did see one person talking about the moment where
Nikki helped him with his bachelor degree fees and now
he's a graduate from an HBCU majoring in theater. I'll
forever be grateful for what this woman has done for
me in my life. I'm forever grateful for everything. And
so that person was one of the twenty eighteen winners
who paid tribute, So shout out to her for that,
(18:44):
because we know paying for college is a no joke.
All right, well that is your Yet when we come back,
we have under the radar. These are the stories that
are not necessarily and the headlines. They're flying under the radar,
but you for sure need to know about them. One
of them is, well, I'm wonderful you have time to
do this story today. Maybe we need to focus on
elections today and we'll do that one tomorrow. But yes,
(19:06):
we're going to tell you, guys what you need to
be looking out for as you are voting in the
twenty twenty four election.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Under the radar is next. It's way up.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
It's in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
All right, it's way up with Angela Yee, and it
is time for your under the radar stories. And before
we even get into that, I just want to make
sure that before you go to vote, if you haven't
voted yet, I do feel like it's really important to
make sure that you know what's on the ballot. It's
not just the president, but you'll be making decisions on abortion,
drug legalization, and more so, just make sure that you
(19:38):
pay attention to what is happening and what you're voting
for all these other propositions and things like that that
are on the ballots. So you guys again, and I
know I keep on telling telling you this. You can
go online and see for your district where you are voting,
what is on the ballot, so that when you go
you have all of that information and you can just
zip right through with That's exactly what I do did.
(20:01):
We're also looking at when the last polls are closing
on election day, so make sure you also check on that.
Speaker 17 (20:07):
I know.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
The latest one, oh, was at one am in Arkansas.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
That's crazy, but that's an Eastern time, so I guess
that the time difference there. As we're all trying to
make sure we get ready for this now, there's also
a video falsely claiming election fraud in Arizona. US intelligence
community said that video was manufactured by Russian influenced actors
and it was first propagated by an organization linked to
(20:34):
the troll factory that targeted the twenty sixteen US presidential election.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
So just know if you see this video, it is
not real. It's a stage video.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
It was shared on x By the way, it was
viewed at least two hundred and thirty six thousand times
before it was removed. But it was a fake interview
with the so called whistleblower, who is described as a
former aid to the Arizona Secretary of State.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
That person's face is below.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
The voice appears to be AI generated according to a
deep fake detection tool, and that those claims are false.
So just make sure you are very aware as you're
going to do what you need to do, handling your business,
getting outside and voting.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
Okay, you guys, do not be discouraged. You still have time.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
What happens if you're online and the polls are closed,
they do take everybody that's online.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
So yes, if you can't, you know, make it out.
There's a line.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Go enjoy, have fun, wait online, make friends, talk to people.
But whatever you do, make sure you go out and vote. Okay,
today is election day. I know Erica Ford is going
to be checking in with us later today too. Also,
we'd be talking about jac Quis. He was on lip
Service and that episode drops today. But he gave us
(21:48):
some information on his relationship and he has a new
project that's out as well. Because you know, he does
do baby making music. Now he did just make a
baby so I'm sure that plays a role in it.
What music you're listening too.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
But we do have the way Up mix at the
top of the hour, you guys, so you know we're
in this together. It's your show.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
It's way up at Angela Gee's like.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
The like they Angela Jean like they Angela Jee and.
Speaker 5 (22:12):
She's spilling it all. This is yet way up.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
It's way up at Angela Yee. I'm here on election
day on Tuesday. If you haven't voted, make sure you're
getting out to get that done, all right. Kodak Black
was on kasanat stream. He was doing the Mafia than
to Sabathan, and things got a little crazy. There was
a certain point where he tossed a pill up in
the air and caught it in his mouth, and then
(22:38):
after that it just kind of went a little strange.
I would say, here is Kodak Black freestyling during that
Mafia thon Sabathan.
Speaker 12 (22:53):
I said, no, no, no, don't want it.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
I don't want to sense.
Speaker 5 (22:55):
I don't want to sense. Bobbia said no, no, no,
no want it.
Speaker 6 (23:02):
I'm just waiting for it.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
Als.
Speaker 5 (23:03):
I'm just waiting for alts.
Speaker 6 (23:04):
I didn't want to say.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
I mean, there were certain points where you could tell
Kay Sannatt was looking at him like, what is going
on here?
Speaker 3 (23:12):
He didn't really know how to handle it.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
But again, this just sounds an alarm I mean, he
did tell people at one point that he was taking
one hundred perks a day at his worst, and he
said average, like forty average. He said, if he was
messing with the fake ones, he would have been dead.
So hopefully whatever's going on with Kodak, he gets the
help that he needs.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
What do you think, damn?
Speaker 6 (23:35):
While you were watching it, Honestly, it looked bad. As
someone who has known a lot of people who've gone
through like serious pilddictions, it did not look good. The
scratching and the eyes and the head nodding. It knocket
size all right.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
Now, Jack Queis is on lip Service.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
That episode drops today, and he himself saw that he
was not the person that he wanted to be due
to too much drinking.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
Here's what he had to say about why he quits.
Speaker 12 (24:01):
I ain't been drinking since March thirteenth. That was the
last day I drunk.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
I was almost on a verge event, like an alcoholic
So I was like, I gotta take back control of
my life, totaling cars, just getting into trouble, just doing
stuff that I really knew I shouldn't have been doing.
And then two, I gotta stop playing my career because
I know I can be where I want to be.
Speaker 12 (24:18):
I took alcohol, anonymous classes, all type of stuff.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
All right, Good for him, the self awareness that has
to come, because you know he is engaged and he
is a dad now. In addition to that, he talked
about meeting his own biological father and what their relationship is.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Like, I don't have a relationship with my biological father,
but the guy who raised me, Steve, Like, that's who
I call my dad.
Speaker 12 (24:41):
When I became a man, I started seeing him on
my comments. I'm like, nah, you feel me. I'm like,
I ain't.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Then, see when I was lost going through all this drinking,
I had started feeling like that was something I was missing,
But I was just tripping.
Speaker 12 (24:52):
You know how you started listening to other people.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
I'm telling you, when you grow up with a real
mama and a real father figure, you really ain't missing
from the That just your biological.
Speaker 6 (25:01):
Father, all right.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
So he talked about his biological father, which is something
he said he's never really done before.
Speaker 6 (25:07):
It's an exclusive.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Yeah, it's an exclusive. So when you hear this whole interview,
trust me, it was a great one. It was a
really good sit down with Jack Queeze.
Speaker 16 (25:14):
Now.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
He also talked about deciding that DeAndre was the one,
and when he decided that, he knew he wanted to
marry her.
Speaker 12 (25:23):
I thought of it.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
I'm like, yeah, one day, I'm a married DeAndre. But
I didn't know that I was gonna do this this soon,
like proposing stuff. We was packing up the spot I
new was getting ready to move and stuff because we
just got a crib together. I'm just like, I called
my MoMA, like, hey, I think I'm a married DeAndre.
My mama all right? Ask her long term goals, her
short term goals. Ask her like, like, how y'all going
to work together, like, you know, to do certain things,
like like what's the plan?
Speaker 12 (25:44):
You know what I'm saying. She's like, make sure y'all
got a plan. You know what I'm saying. So I
was like, okay, cool. She was like, but besides that,
I think she it.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
Oh that's nice when the plan comes together, Dan, You're
getting married next year.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
It's exciting, all right.
Speaker 6 (25:57):
Joe Police also does talk about getting Deonne Sanders blessing
a good episode drops at two pm, A.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
Thank you for that, yeah, And speaking of marriage, j Lo.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
According to in Touch, a source is saying that people
are running from j Loo. Men who could potentially be
her suitors are avoiding her like the plague. They said
that she has been labeled toxic, making it difficult for
her to attract available men. She's made it clear that
if you want to date her, you better be ready
to treat her like a queen and deal with the
suitcase full of drama. And they said that she's been
(26:31):
married four times, engaged twice. She's now allegedly claiming she
needs time away from men following her recent split from
Ben Affleck.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
I think guys are still going.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
To date her.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
It's j Lo.
Speaker 6 (26:41):
Yeah, she'll be fine.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
I feel like her DMS and her phone is probably
blowing up as we sit here and speak. All right,
well that is your yet, and when we come back,
we have ask yee. Eight hundred nine fifty one fifty
is a number, any question you have, We're here to
help you out. That's eight hundred two nine to two
fifty one fifty. Here's some sizza with snooze way Up.
Speaker 5 (27:00):
Body Sense with its relationship with career advice Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
This is as what's up his way up with Angela?
Speaker 4 (27:09):
Yee?
Speaker 2 (27:09):
I'm Angela yea, and it's time for you guys to
call up with your questions. Ask ye I'm here to
help you out.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
Now. We have somebody on the line today who wants
to remain anonymous. What's up?
Speaker 4 (27:19):
Hen?
Speaker 16 (27:19):
Hey, how you feeling?
Speaker 11 (27:22):
I could be better?
Speaker 3 (27:24):
All right? So tied to me? What's the issue?
Speaker 13 (27:26):
So I've been single for four years, divorced for two
years almost, and I finally gave someone a chance, very sweet,
taking out almost every single day.
Speaker 17 (27:37):
There's no sex involved. I don't want casual effect. I
want to get to know someone. But he went out
of town. He said he was going to see his
kids and wouldn't give me a callback on a six
hour drive, and I texted him, Hey, I just want
to make sure you get there safely, but just letting
them know, like I'm patient. I just want peace in
(27:58):
my life.
Speaker 16 (27:58):
So whatever's happening, like, let me know?
Speaker 4 (28:02):
Tell me.
Speaker 17 (28:03):
Yeah, he said, I got your sep and that was it.
Speaker 14 (28:06):
My question is did I either hear him out or
just talk him with everybody else.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
How long has this been going on?
Speaker 4 (28:13):
A couple of weeks?
Speaker 2 (28:14):
All right, so it's still fairly early, and so it's
not like you're in a committed relationship. You just don't
like the fact that why are you playing with me
and playing with my time? You did so good for
these first couple of weeks. I was hopeful, and then
you did something whack.
Speaker 16 (28:28):
Yeah, and I don't even know what it is.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
And has he called your sense? Like there's been no
more communication.
Speaker 4 (28:34):
I keep checking my phone.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
But well, I want to first of all, commend you
for knowing what it is that you want and knowing
what you don't want.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
And I think that is so important.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
You know, like you said, you've only been single now
officially divorced for two years, but you've been single for
four years, and it's going to take some time for
you to feel comfortable with people. I don't think that
you need to just settle for anything. And you have
to show people how to treat you, especially early on.
If this is unacceptable behavior to you, you let him
know now if he's able to go out of his
(29:06):
way or be honest with you and tell you what's
really going on and you decide you want to give
him a chance. That's fine, but he can't just lie
back in there easily. I don't know what he could
have done, but I think you also have to follow
your instincts right. Don't feel like you're doing too much
or put in too much on nobody. You don't have
to settle for anything, and this is not the treatment
that you would expect or you deserve. And you've made
(29:28):
it clear. I'm not going to just have these casual relationships.
When I do do something, I want somebody that's not
gonna lie to me, that's going to be open and
honest and communicate with me.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
And he's not doing those things right.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
It is okay to hear what somebody has to say
and see how they come, but this is something that
makes you feel grateful that at least you didn't do
too much, because then you would feel even worse. So
that's why you're taking your time. So you're doing the
right thing and you're playing it right. And he's got
to do the right thing too.
Speaker 13 (29:55):
I agree.
Speaker 7 (29:56):
I'm glad that I have.
Speaker 14 (29:58):
I can't never forget through when y'all have to and
out free money, But all.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Right, and don't second guess yourself, trust yourself.
Speaker 15 (30:07):
I got you.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Thank you all right, thank you for calling man. I
really want to help people like fine Love. She sounds
like she would be an amazing person for somebody to date.
We might have to do something with Tinder. All right,
Well that was asked, ye eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through, you could
leave a message. We can answer your question that way
and when we come back. It is election day. So
today we have global peace doctor also the founder of
(30:31):
Life Camp, and she's definitely an activist and definitely want
you to put the guns down.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
Erica Ford is going to be calling in.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
She wants to talk about what's going on at the polls,
about this election and why you have to vote. It's
way up, ye yee, but you're all being waiting for
Oh you're tapped in the way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (30:51):
Its way up with Angela Yee. And it's election day.
So right now I have Erica Ford with me on
the line. She's a world renowned human rights activist and
anti violence leader and the arc of the national anti
gun violence movement.
Speaker 5 (31:03):
Erica Ford, Hey how are you going. I'm good.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Well, listen, you know, we're asking people how you feel
in today, and for you, you know, you're somebody that's
very publicly been going to the White House making sure
you do what you can do for anti gun violence
and just all the good things.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
How are you feeling today, Erica?
Speaker 4 (31:22):
So I have layers. The first layer of course, like
like a lot of folks that have anxiety, right, and
I have anger because I'm watching so many black men
talk about their voting.
Speaker 15 (31:33):
For Trump and the reasons why they're given that they're.
Speaker 4 (31:36):
Voting for Trumps. It's first off, wrong information. Yep, it's
not facts, and it's the most ignorant stuff I've ever
heard in my entire life. Now when you look at
a man who's whole being has been from the start
of trying to put the death penalty on those young
men in Centripunk five, to continually dis expecting women, and
(32:02):
so like all the things he said last week about
Kamala Harris, about Congresswoman Cheney, right that we still in
our right mind would even think about either voting for
him or not voting at all. Neither one can be
a choice. You're right about that, and part of me
(32:22):
feels very happy because of the numbers of people that
are going out to vote, because of the energy that
you see around the United States and around the world,
that we're finally going to have someone in the office
that represents us all that has put her life totally
on the working frontline for people. Like she didn't just
(32:44):
start working with gun violence with us, She's been working
with us for years around this issue. And so by
all means, we must, we must get out in numbers
today and vote for Kamala Harris and let's make history.
And let's get our children's lives back. Let's get our
seniors who are very nervous about cutting Social Security, which
(33:06):
is one of his plans, Like people don't think about their.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
Parents, think about the kids, think about education, getting rid
of the Department of Education, all of the things that
are being proposed, and what's gonna happen, even God willing
when he loses that, we have to be really careful
and vigilant during that time as well.
Speaker 4 (33:24):
That's one thousand percent. You know, in our communities, we
don't need to respond to fair but we need to
be on them. Yeah, we need to not ignite something
that doesn't need igniting, right, because you got to pick
your battles and you gotta be smart. And so let's
not give into the room amongering. Let's continue to pull together.
Let's continue to put love over hate. Let's continue to organize,
(33:48):
educate our people so that we can have a different world,
the world that we want to see as we live it,
no matter who goes to doors.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Right absolutely with Erika Ford. I appreciate it, and I
encourage everybody. Like you said, there's a lot of misinformation
out there. You can find people's voting records online. You
can see what people stand for. You can watch what
comes out of their own mouths to make sure that
you get correct information. All right, exactly, exactly, all right, Erica.
I hope to see you soon in person in real life. Yeah,
(34:17):
thank you, thank you, Thank you so much to Erica
Ford for joining us. I am going to be on
the edge of my seat today waiting to see what
is happening, waiting to see if we get the final
results tonight and when we come back.
Speaker 3 (34:30):
You guys have the last word. It's way up.
Speaker 5 (34:33):
Pick up the phone, tapping to get your voice heard.
Speaker 10 (34:37):
What the word is?
Speaker 5 (34:38):
He is the last word on way up with Angela.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
Ye all right, it's way up with Angela.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
Yee.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
What a day today, Tuesday, November fifth, Election day tomorrow.
I guess we'll see what happens. I have no idea
what it's going to feel like, no idea right now.
Everybody in here voted. You voted, Navy who wants the boards?
Speaker 3 (35:00):
You haven't voted? Are you going to vote when we
leave here? Okay?
Speaker 2 (35:03):
I need to see a sticker to confirm, because there's
people who are going hard for people and then find
out that they've never voted before.
Speaker 3 (35:09):
Because you know, we can check. Dan, you voted, yes,
I did. And you guys, you vote in New Jersey?
Speaker 6 (35:14):
I did, yes, okay, but I actually voted via mail.
Speaker 3 (35:18):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
That's responsible all these different ways that you can vote
last week, all right.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
And remember, guys, local elections are always important too.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
So even when we're not voting for the President of
the United States, you can still also vote for your
local elections because that's going to matter when it comes
to the school board, the police department, your council.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
Members, everybody.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
Anyway, I appreciate everybody who called in today because I
know the whole entire nation is feeling a type of way.
There's no way that we're not feeling some kind of
like anxiety and uneasiness about what's about to happen. Maybe
you're excited. I don't know how you're feeling. But again,
this is your show and we'd love to hear from you.
So again, here is the last word.
Speaker 8 (36:02):
What's going on? This is as soon as a therapist
just give him a quick call and just to let
everybody know the you know, I know this selection time
is as a little bit scary, have some anxiety there.
I would tell people to just put powder what you
can control.
Speaker 5 (36:14):
No matter what.
Speaker 8 (36:15):
The next day, you're still gonna have to make sure
you gotta go and eat. So with living away and
it's don't living here.
Speaker 9 (36:22):
We got this.
Speaker 8 (36:22):
We'll be able to push through, just to make sure
everyone continues to protect the energy invested in mental wealth feach.
Speaker 11 (36:29):
My thoughts on this situation is that I am very
anxious and I don't think that people realize what's at
stake here, and I need people to realize that we're
voting for a long term, We're voting for the future.
Speaker 9 (36:40):
How are you doing these parents and a p and
betrayed what have do. I'm a dead daughter just told
us she is pregnant with my first grant here to death.
Not any complications with the pregnancy. What does that mean?
This ain't right. You can't vote but wrong way? What
about young good as the same day you six like
we were what they're supposed to do. If they're illegalized abortion,
(37:04):
people just go go to illegal abortion. Wake Up America
Speaker 5 (37:09):
Going way out turn Out with Angela Yee
