I was living in New York, fresh out of college,
met someone on Tender to have a date. We went
to a place called Prohibition and they were filming a
reality show where they switched places. So Prohibition is like
very classy, great first date place, but that night they
switched places with a different ball that was basically like

a strip club.

Oh, so we're at the restaurant.

We decided to stay.

And they're filming this show and like people dancing, not
like the most classy joint, but we decided to stay
and we ended up being on TV.

And then now we're married.

It sounds like it was a very fruitful first date. Okay,
so you guys go to this place and you stay
at this place. What made you decide to continue seeing
each other? What was it about this guy or that
date that encouraged you to keep it going?

I guess just intuition, like still there. It's a very
classic New York City restaurant, and we like had to
sign a waiver and everything, so it was like, oh
my god, what are we doing right?

on TV, have you been spotted since?
Speaker 6 (02:52):
No? No, it was called bar get in the TV
shows bae in.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
I don't think I ever remember that. It probably didn't
last more than half a season.

The good news is your marriage has lasted longer than
that show.
