Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table a Valentine in the Morning.
I laughed heartily, help us.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Respectful to say I love you. The full show podcast
starts right now.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Good morning, Jill, Hi, good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Hey.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Today's Thursday. Yeah, what's that girl?

Speaker 4 (00:17):
What's going on?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
What's going down?

Speaker 4 (00:19):
The week's almost done?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Does not talk about Yo?

Speaker 5 (00:22):
This is good, Jude nice.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Thursdays a great.

Speaker 6 (00:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
You know, if you can make it a Thursday, you
can make it the Friday. Then the weekend is upon us. Yeah. Yeah, John,
how are you, Bud? I'm pretty good.

Speaker 7 (00:36):
There's nothing like no Thursday thing I'm missing. No, just
happy to be Thursday.

Speaker 8 (00:39):
No.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
So no, it's like we're kind of through. We're getting
through the week. Yeah, past midweek. Okay, we can see
the light at the end of the tunnel, the weekend
and coming. I'm pumped.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Okay, So last night I have to tell you guys
the story real quick.

Speaker 7 (00:49):
So last night my girlfriend I were sitting there and
she got a call from her grandma. So she picks
it up and she puts it on speaker and she's
like asking her to invest in crypto and so I'm
sitting there like, oh my god, here's finally one of
those scams where AI makes it sound like your grandma.
They get their voice somehow and are like asking you
to invest in this particular crypto. So we're like, dude,

(01:10):
this is AI, Like how crazy? We're recording it. Then
she hangs up the phone, calls her grandpa's phone. Her
grandma answered, She's like, are you going to invest in
that crypto?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Was trying to get her into crypto for real?

Speaker 9 (01:23):
Her grandma found some crypto and thought she was like
onto something and like called her to crypt was I
don't know, it was something I didn't really recognize because
we for sure thought it was AI, like you hear
about these scams.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
But it was really Grandma. It was in crypto. This
time it was actually grand's grandma.

Speaker 7 (01:39):
She's probably seventy eight or something like she's approaching eighties.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah, perching eighties, but she's not like ninety five or
something like that, right, right, but she's now like fifty
or sixty hours.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
She's still pretty with it, but like does she.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Sound Grandma is like, you've got to invest in this crypto.
Ethereum is the way to go. Forget bitcot Ethereum's coming back.

Speaker 7 (01:57):
One hundred percent really, and just like the way she
was saying it, it was like kind of monotone, and
we were like, this is crazy, Like we caught one
of these AI people.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
That's so funny. Yeah, this one time it was real.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Call her back and be like, hey, Grandma, if you
had explain a blockchain to me, I'll join in.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Literally.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
So your lesson here is believe every call you get.

Speaker 7 (02:18):
That's I guess what I'm saying. Grandma's are into crypto, Guys.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
I've met that Prince guy a few times now. You
know Bright doing well. I'm doing great, dude, that's weird, buddy.
One O four three one O four three, My offm
e his valence in the morning. Hi Amber, Hi, So

(02:45):
Amber's on the phone line, guys, because she wanted to
dive into a topic we talked about. This had come
up yesterday in the show very organically. A woman called
in and said her dumb dumb moment was when she said, look,
they didn't piggyback ride, and it was two gorillas at
the zoo doing piggybacks with each other, and you wanted
to talk about the animals that you've seen piggyback each other, correct.

Speaker 10 (03:08):
Amber, Yes, So last year I went on a field
trip with my son's first grade class, and mind you,
I got six first graders by myself.

Speaker 11 (03:19):
Which was fun on itself.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (03:22):
So we come up to the Zebras and they're having
a piggyback ride and the first graders they don't know.
They're like, oh, what's going on? And I'm just I panicked,
And I was like, they're playing wrestling. I don't remember
the words I use, but I'm like, come on, guys,
let's just go to the next exhibit.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
It's always like playing or wrestling or something, right, Yeah,
but I just.

Speaker 11 (03:45):
I didn't know what to say, and I'm just in
charge of these little six first graders.

Speaker 12 (03:50):
That don't know what they're reading.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
I saw my daddy played my mom.

Speaker 13 (03:54):
Like that one.

Speaker 11 (03:58):
Oh that would have been even more horrifying.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Yeah, I know, Amber. Do you think do you think
in some part of the world, this massive universe of ours,
in these minds of these animals, do you think they
know it's a first grade class and they're like, let's
give them a show like the normal Like you and
I walk by at the zoo, they're like, yeah whatever.
First grade is like, oh, we're gonna have some fun

(04:21):
with these guys.

Speaker 11 (04:22):
Yeah, right, let's let's the little kids are here, let's
really give him a show.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Like right, like there's some horn somewhere at the zoo
alerts all the animals. They have first grade trip.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
They're like, but you know what they did.

Speaker 11 (04:39):
They saw a show.

Speaker 10 (04:40):
They weren't just sleeping.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
They saw a show. Yeah, because sometimes the animals just
lie there right right, Oh my god, you.

Speaker 10 (04:47):
Most of them hot days.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Yeah, they don't come out. They're in the back cave.
You can't see them.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
How dare these caged animals not form for us?

Speaker 10 (04:56):
Right?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Did you go through like one of those uh spider
tunnels or frog tunnels or something like that with.

Speaker 11 (05:04):
The reptile room or whatever they call it these days?

Speaker 12 (05:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Godiring day. I'm never like a fan of Like when
you see an empty cage, you're like, what's the uh,
what's the deal? Is this guy here or not here?
Or like did he get out or what's going on here?

Speaker 11 (05:23):
I know exactly like what happened. There's no sign that says.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Like sorry, you know, have this andles back in the
medical tent getting some treatment or something. Just like, God,
I'd have so much fun like working there, though, I'd
leave like one cage, an empty cage just cracked open
like a little bit, like maybe like a little door
was open and the thing got out like.

Speaker 11 (05:41):
A with your coworkers.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Would you imagine so much fun? All right, So there
we go. So you saw the Zebras doing it piggyback.
I had to be hard to watch though, too, because
it's like it's like when you're TV in the old days,
we get blurry and you're trying to get a channel
right because it's all like stripes, so white strips by
stripes and messed white stripes black stripes together. Probably is
like hard to watch, especially moving fast. Yeah, thanks for

(06:09):
being old enough.

Speaker 12 (06:09):
To get.

Speaker 11 (06:12):
Yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Love you all right, you take care?

Speaker 11 (06:17):
Yeah, thanks you guys too.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
By John, you ever have to do anything like that?
The horizontal vertical on a TV ever fixed those? No?

Speaker 1 (06:23):
I don't even really know what that means.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Yeah, TV signals sometimes to get all weird. If you
had oh my god, this is way far back, but
you have like rabbit ear and tennis and stuff. The TV.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
We had one of those in case of emergencies.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Right, Yeah, so with that you always had to adjust
a horizontal and the vertical picture. It we all squiggly
lines and stuff, and I pictured Zebra's doing it together
as the horizontal vertical squiggly lines get all messed up.
Amber totally got it. Yeah, and there you go. If
you could see one animal do a piggyback, who would

(06:56):
you pick? How would you guys? Think? Just think during
this break and then we'll decide. Okay, right after this
four three one four three my FM.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
It is Valentine in the morning, Wicked for Good is
out next week, and Airbnb is doing something really really cool.
They do like these special experiences and one lucky winner
and a guest get to stay in Alphaba's retreat. It's
like a treehouse basically on the ground.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
You're like, you love treehouses, love treehouse, Big treehouse, guy,
it looks beautiful.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
You're just surrounded by trees. There's a fire pit, there's
a tea area. Alpa Ba's hat and broom are there,
and Cynthia Arrivo is going to be there as well.
Who plays Alpha Ba in which so it's one winner
and the cool thing is it's in thousand oaks.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Oh, it's here, that's right by me.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Do you have an address? Can I go by and
look at it?

Speaker 10 (07:58):
No?

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Address?

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Do they want me to broadcast from there?

Speaker 4 (08:01):
I didn't ask, but I can ask them.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
You should. Actually, when's this thing go down?

Speaker 4 (08:05):
December twentieth?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
What do you want to reach out on? Behalf of iHeart?
And we'll do like a little walk through something we
can do a social thing. Go check out the house
before they actually give it away. Yeah, very funny, and
then talk about it on the air promoted for them.
Sure or not? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
It could be cool. Stay there, maybe a show up.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Yeah, I could be killing man. Can you spend the
night with her?

Speaker 4 (08:27):
No, she's just there to greet you, Okay, and then
you and a guest can stay the night.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Let me clear this up. She's popping by to pick
up her check.

Speaker 12 (08:34):
You know.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
That's what's happening.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
That's so cool. Want to I want to apply for this.

Speaker 14 (08:38):
I want to try and win.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Hey Michael, do you have a treehouse at your place
in New York?

Speaker 3 (08:42):
There?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
No, I wish that was one of the things growing
up that I wish I always had in the backyard.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Yeah, you've got enough trees around you. I watch a show,
or we watched it for a number of years. I
don't think they do it anymore. It's called Treehouse Masters
and Colin and I love that show. And this guy
was hired to build treehouses all over there, all over
the world. So cool, love trios.

Speaker 7 (09:02):
I missed the days where they just had like shows
about everything, you know. Yeah, if there's a little niche
for it, they just give you a show. And too
much people build tree has this.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
I was blown away the other day by a record
guy who was up here in the building, was chatting
with us about some stuff about a new artist, and
he goes, got to see their video, and I go,
where can I see that? He goes MTV, and I said,
wait a minute, MTV is still around. Like I thought
they went into Jersey Shore or all those other things.
And then I thought they just kind of went to
fund I don't know, because I don't watch MTV right.
M maybe became a game show network or something. I

(09:31):
have no idea. They still show videos, but now in
college campuses they have something called MTVu and it plays
all the time on TVs in college common areas. Yeah,
and it's all videos and stuff. From different artists.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
We had that you added too at season?

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Did you really really? I had no idea that was
the thing. I honestly thought like VH one and MTV had.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Died and just recently, like the actual actual MTV like
made this huge statement that they're bringing music videos back.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
I remember seeing that. Yeah, I loved music videos, but
artists don't make them as much as they used to.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
You know, I loved pop up video on VH one.
They'd play the music video, but then they would do
like behind the scenes little comments throughout the entire music video,
like you know, Shakira was in here and makeup for
six hours before.

Speaker 5 (10:18):
You like like stuff, He's cute.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
God, I'd love to do that during our show. Yeah,
you just hear like a little bubble up noise. Brian
is just trying to look good because Kyla is very
mad at him for something you said.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Valentine is eating snacks doing Jill's head.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Jill is making a really angry face because Valentine's snacks
can be heard on the end. John is applying for
another job. This is good, all right, It's Valentine the Morning.
This is one of four three.

Speaker 15 (10:52):
Mid one four three my FM one o four to
three my sm entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
We love it around here, and she recently took a
break from music. There were rumors that she might step
into acting, and now we have confirmation. She is going
to be the lead in cry to Heaven, which is
an adaptation of a novel released in nineteen eighty two,
and currently the movie is in pre production in Rome

(11:21):
and London, and Adele is going to star in it
and comedian actress Amy Schumer. She deleted all of her
photos off of her Instagram. A lot of different artists
do this when they're about to release an album or
step into a new era. She came back a couple
days later and posted a photo of herself in a
red dress and just said I'm feeling good and happy.

(11:42):
Deleted my old picks for no reason. And then a
lot of people thought that she did this so that
she got rid of everything, all the pictures before her
weight loss journey, but she says that is not the case.
She said she's proud of how she's looked always. I'm
Jill with her entertainment headlines on Vaal in ten in
the morning, coming up at six o'clock, We're gonna give

(12:02):
you a keyword for the thousand dollars, Philip. Today and
tomorrow are the last days to try and win one
thousand dollars, and we'll give you your first keyword in
seven minutes at six o'clock.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Come on joy last week.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
One of four to three, Mi fab I get his
valance out of the morning. Hey Patrick, good morning. How
are you man?

Speaker 6 (12:25):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
You guys, I'm doing good. Jill John's all right, I've
got your target to my left hand side. I've got
your victim. Because Pat is so mad at Brian from yesterday.
Patrick is a birthday officionado, and Brian once again opened
his big mouth yesterday and said, oh, I'm not a
fan of birthdays. People shouldn't take their birthday off at work.

(12:48):
He doesn't even like birthday celebrations once you're past, like
you know five, So go ahead, Pat, here's Brian.

Speaker 6 (12:57):
You know, Brian, here's the deal. I'm forty nine years
I celebrate every single birthday. Mine does fall on Memorial Day. Sometimes,
you know what, I still take a day. I have
not worked one single day.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Maybe you should be, you know, honoring the veterans that
have served instead of you know, the celebrating Patrick.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Yeah, so a kid was born on Christmas, then it's
just a happy birthday, Jesus, don't worry about my birthday.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Sorry, you get skipped.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Oh my gosh, too far.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
I got hammered yesterday.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
But just so you know, everyone hates me on the
back kind of drinking after I read the text line,
I needed a drink. So everybody was hating on Brian
on the text line yesterday. And Brian's defense. I think
he's very funny. He's a good little foil sometimes too,
so I defend it. He's a good guy. He really
inherently is a good guy. It's a good dad too,

(13:52):
he is. He needs to straighten out a few things
in his life. Honestly, take a day off. I should
need the day. No, he's probably taken more than any
of us, honestly, vacation time this year.

Speaker 6 (14:05):
Well that's just because he likes sports.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Yeah no, no, that's not all sports. He goes to
like dead beat, weirdo rock shows that nobody goes to.
It's like the Smashing I don't know in Vegas and right.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
That was not that was Kendrick Lamar in Toronto.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Straight sir, what you went to be once somewhere I
did that was in l A and I showed up
for work. Did you see like? There're also some think
Patrick about people showing up for work and showing up
for work. I was here, you know, right exactly. The
physical presence doesn't always denote that you showed up.

Speaker 6 (14:45):
It's a complete difference, Thank you, Pat.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
When I say the phrase showing up, showing up for
each other, showing up for work, some people do that
better than others, and some people just show up to
check a box.

Speaker 6 (15:00):
He's there half the time.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
That was a great line I had for years. People
ask me how many folks work at MAAFM, and I'd
say about half of them. You guys can use that.
I thought that was funnier. Maybe we just heard it
so many times. It's good. Patrick's a man, Patrick, have
a good one, buddy.

Speaker 16 (15:22):
You two guys, thank you so much.

Speaker 6 (15:23):
I love your show. Have a great day, everyone, enjoy.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
The weekend, try and stay dry. Good luck with that, right, Yeah,
for sure, my guys, one O four three, My evm
in is Valentine in the morning. If you like games,
we've got a game coming up next that John came
up with and it's very very popular. It is not
Geo Party. I love Geoparties, which is just Jeopardy. He

(15:47):
just mispronounces it. Love that game. But we're gonna play
a game that you can be a part of. See
if you could win. This game is called one second Songs.
You get the hint and only one second of audio.
It's like name that tune to the nth degree. You
got to be a baller. This is Jill's realm. I'm
only passing through like a carpetbagger. I'm passing through with

(16:09):
like like a hobo stick in my bag right behind me.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
I will say, in that.

Speaker 7 (16:13):
Stick behind you though, there's a trophy because you're the
defending champ right now.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Man, you want last time? You know what it feels like.
It feels like just the Giants beating the Patriots. You
got lucky because the ball bounced your way or something. Well,
you want the super Bowl.

Speaker 7 (16:27):
How do you feel about Christmas songs? I do love
Christmas songs because that's going to be our theme today.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Okay, all right, question now answer.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
Do we have to give the artist's name again?

Speaker 1 (16:37):
We should decide that right now.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Okay, I'm just saying Bobby Helms, right away, Earl.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Clare, So a point for the song, do you want
to point for the artist as well?

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Yes, Brenda Lee, these are good guesses, right, and these
are all your answers. Probably, Yeah, some of us not
saying names.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
Some of us got help last time with the caller
on the line as well, knowing should we do that again.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
You just can't let it go. I like helping someone out.
You're so darn competitive. I'm just gonna say some of
us got help last time.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
You guys are competitive. That's why you play each other
every day.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
I don't like whatever, but you're speaking about me.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Yeah, your player helped you win for sure.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Okay, well you know what. I'm sorry. It's not a
solo sport. I'm a team player. Whatever you want. If
you want to have people involved, that's find on the.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Line right now. Yes, I call us up eight six
six five four four my f M team, Valan team.

Speaker 15 (17:49):
Jill call Valentin in the morning eight six six five
four four six nine three six.

Speaker 8 (17:57):
What up?

Speaker 2 (17:58):
Four three? My fam, it's Valencin in the morning today.
Some game come up in a second. Oh my god,
the lives that are coming out before we play a
game here, These I don't even like to say I've
been gaslighted, but I think I am.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
No.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Now, let me just say this before we start the
game and play along in the Car's gonna great. Got
people to phone line too, fine, let me get them
on for this, Okay, let me get folks on. All right,
you guys are on our team. Jim, you're on team Val.
Good morning, Jim, how are you?

Speaker 16 (18:25):
How about you, guys?

Speaker 2 (18:26):
My man? Jim? Alright, all right? Feeling good Jim. You're
a big Christmas fan?

Speaker 13 (18:30):
Yeah, my man?

Speaker 2 (18:32):
Okay? And Lynette, you're on team Jill, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 15 (18:35):
Ready to lose val Ohnette.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
I love it who picks these people, because I'd like
to know the screening process. By the way, I love you, Jim.
Feeling good about you. Buddy's gonna turn out. So, guys,
a second ago, this is a weird conversation, but we're
talking about stuff. The other day, there was a candlelight
in the studio and no one knew who lit the candle,

(18:58):
and everyone's blaming each other for this lit hand right
just out of nowhere, And my mom's got to manchilate
on seid Alzheimer's and I'm like, did I light the candle.
I don't know. And it's like two three days ago.
John Kimuci just admitted to lighting the candles a prank.
For like two or three days, we all thought like,
who lit this candle? I've been going nuts. So I
was checking myself into the Alzheimer's place last night, you

(19:19):
bum it.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
It was me the whole time, and you guys were like,
who lit this?

Speaker 4 (19:21):
Was it a ghost?

Speaker 7 (19:22):
What's happening in here?

Speaker 2 (19:23):
And it was John?

Speaker 1 (19:24):
Yeah, I was watching the chaos unfold.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Yeah, thank you. John. So then the wonderful, pristine, beautiful
little joy of our hearts Jill over here. She goes,
Oh my god, I have something to admit too. I go,
what's that? We're in a recording session the other day
and the audio was all messed up, and it was
like our audio had the guy from the TV behind
it because apparently somebody had pressed some button and we're

(19:48):
all like, who would press these buttons? Jill admitted after
the candle incident that she had pressed those buttons herself.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
And when it was happening, when we realized the button
was pressed, I was mad.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
I was like, who's in here?

Speaker 4 (19:58):
I already did not reach sir that I had pushed
that button until later.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
He lit a candle. She pushed the button. Those of
the people I work with, Jim, what do you think
about that? Unbelievable? All right, let's get right to it. Okay,
let's play today's dumb game.

Speaker 7 (20:16):
Today we're playing one Second Songs Christmas Edition. So I'm
gonna play each Jill and vow one second of a
Christmas song. You'll get one point for correctly naming the song,
and an extra point if you can get the artist.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
Oh, all right, we start with Jill.

Speaker 7 (20:30):
We are going to start with Jill. Yes, and remember
Lynette and Jim.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
You guys can help your teammates here.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
Okay, shout it out. All right, you're ready, Jill, I'm ready.
Here you go your little button pressure.

Speaker 4 (20:45):
Yes, I know it. Last Christmas by whim.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Last Christmas by when? Okay, that's two points for team
Jill partnering with Lynette.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Okay, this is where Jim goes, I'm Jewish. By the way,
I never liked Christmas songs. All right, so here we go, Jim,
here we go. You ready?

Speaker 3 (21:07):
Okay? Oh?

Speaker 2 (21:12):
Do you know that? Jim?

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Did Jim hear that? I don't think it fed down
the gym. Well you're not playing with that. So one
more time, here it comes, this is us, Jim, here
we go.

Speaker 16 (21:26):
Oh oh, I have no idea.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Does it sound like Mariah Carey to you? What's that
Christmas song that Mariah Carey does? Well, I don't pay
attention to that.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Come on, what I want for Christmas?

Speaker 10 (21:46):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (21:48):
What I want for Christmas?

Speaker 2 (21:50):
All I want for Christmas?

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Jim, You guys are toast?

Speaker 2 (21:54):

it's the No, it's the Christmas one she always sings, right, I.

Speaker 4 (22:13):

of the song.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
We are very close and her faces are making me
freak out. Jim, what's your final answer? Go ahead, o Christmas?
It's you baby, take away the baby Christmas. They're giving
you one point for Wait a minute, what's the name
of the song.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
It's ALLID want for Christmas?

Speaker 3 (22:37):
Is you?

Speaker 17 (22:38):
We said that?

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Period, No, we said it. She throws in a baby
in there. Oh, you guys are so bad.

Speaker 5 (22:47):
And my face was messing you.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
It was because you're laughing in my face. If Laura
was filming, you see it, she says, laughing in my face. Jim,
and I'm all messed up with this whole candle and
button pressing thing.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
Christmas.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
I thought that was a softball.

Speaker 2 (23:04):

the Redheads. It makes sense, all right.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
From Bobby and the Bounties now Jill is leading with
four points.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Yet we know that. All right, the game, No, the
game is already over. I can't win. You have to
miss the next five songs to win it this point.

Speaker 1 (24:14):

Speaker 2 (24:15):
All right? Friendly? Rocking around the Chrismas tree in your

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Al Right, here we go to win it all. What
the hell is that?

Speaker 3 (25:29):

is the point where all of a sudden, No, but
this is where all of a sudden Jim comes alive

(27:02):
and he goes nails it the entire thing. Right, be
ready to scream your name if you know this thing. Man.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
Here we go, Jill, Jill sleigh Ride runs whow.

but it's like playing Tom Brady at pee wee football
and you're a pee wee kid and you're going up
against Tom Brady and you couldn't even play songs from

(27:41):
my wheelhouse. Oh my gosh, did you play that Dan
Folgelberg song? I missed that one, okay, thank you. I
listened to a stupid Christmas Christmas playlist myself I tried
to listening to what I didn't get anything. I'm really
good with ten second songs, I think. Yeah, Yang, Jim, Yes,

Speaker 1 (30:03):
The songs in school or something. She had a PhD
in Christmas.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
We all listen to holidays.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
Yeah, I'm so mad because you're so good. It's not
even fun playing you because you're so good.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
Okay, well, then let's take me out of this game.
I can host next time.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
That's too fun to know he likes, No, because what
they like is to see you win and me go
over here.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
I love when val gets upset.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
It's so fun up brat God, and she's just so
freaking good. Yeah, they're not doing this in the Secret Show.
They wouldn't do that to him down there. You know
that's right, That's right, you know because you worked there. Yeah,
you would have given him the answers and you would
be like, well this or that, and I get stuck

(30:51):
with me. Can we even cheat a little bit for me?

Speaker 1 (30:55):
No, John could win by a little bit of cheating.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
Yeah, yes, John, I want to win once.

Speaker 12 (31:03):
Week.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
Nobody remembers that. You remember this absolute destruction of what
she just did to me.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
Better study up and we'll play again.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
What you study up on your song? Ever my FM,
here's what's coming up Entertainment Holidays.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
Tom Felton returned to the role of Draco Malfoy and
it was an emotional night. I'll tell you what happened
right off the traffic.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
One o four to three. My sm entertainment headlines are
you storing what why?

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Especially got him fired up.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
I think I love Christmas man and I'm good at
Christmas songs. And I watched Hollmark and I want to
open a Christmas shop and she just freaking destroyed me.
It wasn't even close.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
It's a weird thing with me, Like I don't remember
a role a lot, but I remember songs, song lyrics,
song artists. Like for some reason that just really really
sticks with me.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
Is like just so smart when it comes to this
that though of Paramount.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
Bluss is raising its prices, they just announce it's going
to go up a little bit, increasing one dollar from
an ad supported tier. It's going to cost you eight
ninety nine now instead of seven ninety nine. And then
without ads, if you pay per year, it's about an
increase of twenty dollars. It's going to go up to
one hundred and thirty nine ninety nine a year for
Paramount Plus. And Tom Felton played Draco Malfoy in the

(32:35):
Harry Potter films, and now he has made his Broadway
debut as that character in Harry Potter and the Cursed
Child he made his debut performance just the other night,
and before he even said his first line. When he
first shows up on stage, he got a thirty second
standing ovation just from standing there. Then at the curtain

(32:56):
call when everybody's taking their their bows, everybody in the
audience was going crazy, and Tom Felton was extremely emotional
up on stage, and I just I love that he
is the first actor from the films to then be.

Speaker 16 (33:09):
In this.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
What is wrong now? What I did not roll my
eyes talking about Tom Felton. This is his moment. Get
out of my eyes, all right. So Tom Felton the
first actor from Harry Potter.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
On stage at first one to join the stage.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Place. That's really cool. Yes, some of these texts coming in,
Jill needs to go on that name that tune game
shows you can win it. Yes, of course the text
poor Val always getting laughed at from everyone.

Speaker 10 (33:41):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
He laughing. Did you hear me laughing? Laura, You're on
the couch further away, but did you hear me laughing
over there?

Speaker 10 (33:53):
Not?

Speaker 2 (33:53):
Thank you Laura. Daughter Laura on this one says, give
Valentine a two second handicap. Okay, good morning, Val, I'll
take two pies oh god, Andy, pumpkin pies. If you
think you people were getting pumpkin pies now? And I
do recall a day that Baltic his birthday off, were
all there to celebrate him. Andy, I was home. Oh

(34:14):
my god, those one hundred and fifty dollars gift cards.
That was a nice giveaway. Things to do that team
Jill all the way. Yeah, Valentine's the best. Don't you
worry about Seacrest. I think they're about the show there.
I love it when Valentine is getting mad and fired up.
It's the funniest thing ever to hear on the radio.
Thank you for that. Jill is the queen redemption for Jill,
Prime for the wind. What did you do? Nothing? You

(34:38):
laughed in my face, That's all you did. Don't play
the Shoe song. I would have got the shoe so
I would have got I like depressing music. I'm good
with that. Yeah. Couldn't you even do like We Are
the World?

Speaker 4 (34:49):
Like?

Speaker 2 (34:50):
I sing that one all the time? It's Christmas time.

Speaker 7 (34:52):
Genuinely didn't want to get more obscure, so I just
took like the top Christmas songs.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
They're just so obscure, is that? Mariah carry song. Your
shot at one thousand dollars. Now, all right, the word
is cash.

Speaker 10 (35:06):
C A s H.

Speaker 4 (35:07):
Cash.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
Take that word to one O four three my FM
dot com.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
I can win you one thousand dollars right now, cash
C A s H. It's one thousand dollars, Philip. Today
and tomorrow are the last days to try and win
this money. C A s H at one O four

Speaker 2 (35:23):
The haw Texas came in. There is a baby at
the end of that. Maria carry songs. They should have
gotten credit for that, She says, baby in there. Thank
you very much for that.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
Guys.

Speaker 4 (35:31):
I think he just made up that text.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
No, I did not. I think you're making the answers
for songs. Not even if Bruce Springsteen, I would have
gotten that one.

Speaker 17 (35:40):
Oh my gosh, sa closest come with the town.

Speaker 15 (35:44):
Blown on the horn, dude.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
Seven O eight. It's Valance ten in the morning. This
is one of four three Mi e Ben. You should
let the listeners team up and val should just be
on Jill's team. Now, I shouldn't want me enter team.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
Why you and I be on the same team.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
I'd bring nothing to the table.

Speaker 17 (36:09):
You would.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
I lost every single one in that game.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
But the last time we played, you beat me.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
That was a mistake. It was like songs from Valentine's
iPod Shuffle or something. That was the only way I
could just sure. Really, Oh my god, rematch, I'll be
your partner Brian again. That was so nice you to
make sure that every player got a gift card. Oh
you know, it's the holidays.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
Let's well, other people are yelling at each other in
the studio. I'm over here, just gift.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
He's gonna yell at at him too. Adam thanked me.
Adam went out and found some lady that like works
part time down the hall at Coast or something, and
that was Jill's and my poor guy was trying to
stop an intrusion from a foreign country in it. While
he was talking. He told me that afterwards, she goes sorry,
there was a trojan horse attack and I was distracted

(37:02):
vell otherwise we would have had this thing. Yeah, coming
up later on this hour, Roomy from K pop Demon
Hunters stopped by at seven twenty five. All right, I
get it now, what why you beat me so bad
and you didn't hold back because you're claiming I made

(37:24):
a face during the promo video of K pop Demon
Hunters with Roomy, Jill hit a high note and I
made a stink face. She says, yes, that's why she
didn't hold back on this game. That video is up
at Valentine in the morning. At Valentine in the morning,
it's a promo video promoting that Roomy stopped by today
and Jill hits a high note. You want to hit again?

Speaker 4 (37:44):
Oh, I don't know if I can do it. Now
we go up, But watch that video because look at
Bell's face. Don't focus on me.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
No, I was honestly, gosh, and you were so mad
about this last night, and she texted me in the
middle of the memory care center karaoke. I get this text.
She goes out, look at the face he made about
my voice, And I'm looking at it, and I think
I was honestly maybe Brian, you can speak to this.
Oh yeah, I think I was honestly just reacting to
her reaction to kind of play along with what she
was doing, because she made a Oh no, no, I

(38:13):
didn't hit that note face, which you didn't.

Speaker 1 (38:16):
I mean it was pretty close.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Fair.

Speaker 1 (38:18):
Oh I'm domming in on mouth face right now.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
No, no, you have to see her face, and I
reacting to her face.

Speaker 4 (38:24):
I know my face I shot. I was like, I
think we're even now, and.

Speaker 7 (38:32):
He was not enjoying that.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
No, she just left for her face. She made one
time during a promo video when I tried to hit
a high note. Really yeah and wow, that's where I
honestly got I didn't think I think you're a beautiful,
wonderful singer.

Speaker 13 (38:44):
You are.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
You're great, And I was honestly just reacting to your
face to kind of play long because I thought you're
doing a bit I misread it. I thought that the
note was perfect, you know, and yet you didn't hold back.
So Roomy will stop by from K Pop Demon Hunters
if your kids are into that. Seven twenty five today

This is one a four to three MIFM. After forty
three days, a government shutdown is finally over. That means
thousands of federal workers will start getting paid again, Food

start returning to normal over the next few days. So
many federal workers struggling for weeks or even months. Who
builds it up? Piled up, and I politely ask, why

(42:52):
do we do this again? Today? A powerful storm will
bring heavy rain, possible flooding to southern California. The National
Weather Services the storm will arrive tonight, last through the weekend,
could bring thunderstorm, strong wins in mud slides too. We're
supposed to play soccer on Saturday. They canceled. We had
one game, which stinks because I had a bunch of

(43:13):
scouts come to watch column play in San Diego, and
so I have to figure that out differently. So there
it is. But that game got canceled on Sunday through
the rain. But they're still playing the game on Saturday.
As if now you switch stadiums because they play at
Pleasant Valleys and now they play atkall Loou or something
like that. I'm like, dude, that rain is coming. Yeah,
it's coming hard. Your boys play soccer. They have playoffs

(43:35):
this weekend, so we'll see what happens. Have they ever
played in the rain before. Yeah, Kyla, My wife was like,
they're not good. They don't cancel they play soccer. Players
playing the rain a lot. There's a soccer match in
the snow the other day. It was all over Instagram.
Back he's it's crazy. Yeah, it depends if you want
your field dug up. And then of course you get
into the point where kids can get hurt of it's
too dangerous and stuff. So anyway, that's a big one thunderstorm,
strong winds, mud slides are saying La Orange Kenny beIN

(43:57):
Turre County could see one to two inches of rain,
while some mountaineer could get up to four inches. That's
a lot. Four inches is a lot, okay, John, what's
trending in music?

Speaker 7 (44:07):
So, Lady Gaga has a pretty viral moment going on
right now. At one of her recent shows on her
Mayhmeball tour, she stopped the whole show mid song and
paused for several minutes to help care for a fan
that was in need of a medical attention. She said, stop, stop, like,
is everyone okay? She made sure the fan got water
and made sure they got escorted out, and she even
had this quote. She said, there's always a lot more
that's more important than show business.

Speaker 1 (44:28):
And I think that's why all the fans love colling
Lady Gaga.

Speaker 13 (44:31):
Mother.

Speaker 7 (44:31):
But a great move from Lady Gaga over these last
few days. I'm John Kamuci. That's what's trending in music.

Speaker 2 (44:36):
Coming up next in.

Speaker 4 (44:38):
The studio, EJ, the singing voice of Roomy from K
Pop Demon Hunters, three MI fan and his balance O
the Morning.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
So Jill is the biggest fan of you the movie.
I give you the intro.

Speaker 4 (45:00):
Take it away, guys, we have EJ in the studio,
the singing voice of Roomy in K Pop Demon Hunters,
Netflix's biggest movie of all time.

Speaker 2 (45:14):
Thank you, thank you. So every time we played the song,
anytime we played Golden, people went nuts. They just absolutely
love the song and love the movie. Congratulations, thank you
so much. Does it feel like real to you telling
me about how you feel?

Speaker 14 (45:28):
I feel too many things. I have no idea what
I feel anymore. Yeah, Like yeah, I think it's like
it's such a phenomenon and it's like.

Speaker 18 (45:36):
It was so unexpected. So I feel happy, like grateful
on a lot of different emotions.

Speaker 2 (45:43):
How did you come to writing this song? How did
you come to this whole process? Like did they ask
you to do this for the movie or what happened?

Speaker 18 (45:50):
Yea, so well, I got on the film like five
years ago, like before the script was written. We basically
were kind of in charge of like the blueprint of
the songs, okay, the important scenes, right, And then it
got greenlit and that's when like a lot of the
writers came in and Golden was actually one of the
last songs that we wrote.

Speaker 2 (46:08):
Now it is this I hate to make comparatives, so
please don't judging comparatives here, But is this the the
let it go moment for you? This is such a
springboard for you.

Speaker 18 (46:20):
I'm sure I mean it was kind of like when
the directors and you know, our musicro director Ian Eisen
draft like it was kind of this I.

Speaker 14 (46:29):
Letico song of the movie.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
Wow.

Speaker 14 (46:32):
Yeah, So it was crazy how it all happens.

Speaker 2 (46:35):
So where does life go now for you? And how
has your life changed? Because everybody wants to talk to you.

Speaker 18 (46:39):
It changed so dramatically, like kind of happened so fast
that had no time to digest the situation.

Speaker 14 (46:47):
I'm digesting it right now. But one eight it's like
understatement and.

Speaker 2 (46:52):
This is not just like K pop fans it came
to this. This is just people from all different you know,
Genres Walks exceda of life finding the movie, be finding
the music. People when they listening to the radio may
not have seen the movie, to be honest, just love
the song. So you're reaching that vast of an audience.

Speaker 14 (47:08):
In the movie.

Speaker 18 (47:09):
The music is like their weapon, you know, their power
to like protect everyone and unite everyone, and it's literally
doing that in real life and actually charting. So it's
really crazy to watch this whole thing.

Speaker 4 (47:22):
Yeah, and just got nominated for a Grammy.

Speaker 2 (47:25):
Come on, you're nominated for a Grammy. I cover the
back of the room. We get five Grammys? How does
that feel?

Speaker 4 (47:34):
I don't crazy. I wish I knew more adjective like, I.

Speaker 14 (47:40):
Have no words to describe what's going on right now.

Speaker 2 (47:42):
You're a songwriter, think of words. You must have words
for this.

Speaker 14 (47:45):
No, no, the whole thing going on.

Speaker 2 (47:50):
Where'd you grow up?

Speaker 14 (47:50):
Whered you grow I grew up in half in Korea,
half in Jersey and New York?

Speaker 2 (47:55):
Gotcha, okay, good old Jersey. I probably like on your
housepal and and Valentine? Hello, and then hey are you
doing gay? You know right? But as like a little
girl growing up like that, did you have these dreams
of being on stage, of being up for a Grammy?

(48:15):
Was that part of your life?

Speaker 11 (48:17):
You know?

Speaker 14 (48:17):
That was a dream I had. I used to be
a K pop trainee?

Speaker 2 (48:21):
So what is a k pop trainee?

Speaker 18 (48:23):
So basically you get casted as very young and you
kind of train dancing, singing, acting, You do a lot
of different things in a very rigorous kind of training
system to become a K pop idol. So yeah, of
course I don't know about Grammys because I thought that
was like far away because at that time there weren't
many many like Koreans or Asian singers in the US,

(48:45):
you know what I mean. So for me, I thought
being a singer was being a K pop idol. Yeah,
but so Grammys is like a whole like on I
thought was an unreachable goal.

Speaker 4 (48:53):
Ye.

Speaker 18 (48:54):
So, and also I got I got dropped by my
label when I was like twenty two, so I went songwriting,
and so I kind of let that dream go. And
so for this to happen is incredibly serendipitous, and just
like like dreams that I never thought could come true
happening even as a kid. Like so like my dream
as a kid and my dream as an adult kind
of both came true, which is insane.

Speaker 2 (49:16):
She's got a new song. We're gonna hear that new
song and we come back. EJ, who's a singing voice
of Roomy from K Pop Demon Hunters, is in the studio.
Yee Valentine in the Morning, Wine in the Morning, three,
my sm nineties two. Now she's got a new song,

(49:37):
gonna hear in a couple of seconds. EJ, the singing
voice of Roomy in K Pop Demon Hunters, the number
one Netflix movie of all time, is sitting behind microphone
number two.

Speaker 4 (49:47):
Now you're releasing your own music and you have a
new song out.

Speaker 14 (49:51):
I do have a song out, Yes, I do.

Speaker 4 (49:54):
Can you tell us the meaning behind the song?

Speaker 18 (49:58):
So? I wrote this song two three years ago and
I was actually going through kind of an interesting time.
I had a very healthy, intentional break with my fiance
and it was kind of like a moment of like,
how do I cope with what life brings me?

Speaker 14 (50:13):
And if we were not to were, if we were
to part ways, how would I cope with that?

Speaker 18 (50:18):
And for me, it was thinking like, Okay, maybe in
this lifetime it wasn't meant to be, but maybe in
another life, in another world, it would have worked out.
It wasn't that you were the issue. It was just
this current lifetime that I had to deal with the
trauma that I was dealt with in this life. It
was just not working for us in this lifetime. That
was kind of the concept, and it also applied to
me as a kid where my dream was to become

(50:40):
a K pop idol and that didn't work out, and
for me to cope with that idea, it was like, again,
in this world and this lifetime it wasn't meant to be,
but probably killing it in another lifetime, you know what.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
I mean, like you know, these like different it's kind
of like multiverse.

Speaker 14 (50:57):
Kind of the multi versions of you kind of.

Speaker 18 (50:59):
That's kind of what helped me cope with the idea,
right and like you know how you having multiple life
times and all that, like it was just not meant
to be for this type of life, right.

Speaker 14 (51:07):
But if I were reincarnated, we will meet and we
meet again.

Speaker 3 (51:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (51:12):
Now I told myself that not necessarily that, but I
remember a very bad breakup when I was a very
young man, so before my wife and everything, and I
had this bad breakup and my mom even told me
because I was really bummed about it because you never
know what life's gonna bring. This person may come back
into your life, you may not, And that little bit
of hope, which has misplaced and misguided the time, still
kept me okay until I can deal with the situation

(51:35):
of that person not being in my life exactly. Once
I was able to understand it, like you know, with
mental clarity, then it was okay. But for then it
was just a little bit of a band aid to
get me through a time life exactly.

Speaker 14 (51:44):
That's that's how it helped me, for sure.

Speaker 2 (51:46):
Yeah, and did that I don't mind a private Did
that work out or you worked out actually engaged?

Speaker 12 (51:54):
I don't know.

Speaker 14 (51:55):
And was even crazier is like even the dream to
be a singer and that worked.

Speaker 5 (51:59):
Out everything.

Speaker 2 (52:07):
Engagement and bail on that one.

Speaker 14 (52:09):
But it's kind of crazy.

Speaker 2 (52:10):
Yeah, all right, let's get right to it. This is
a world premiere e J in Another World. It's Valentine
in the Morning. This is one of four three my
f M.

Speaker 14 (52:21):
I was thinking those space, I was thinking those space.

Speaker 2 (52:30):
That's a world premiere e J in Another World, The
Singing Voice of Rumy. It is one of four to
three my fam This is Valentine in the Morning. I
just found out that you guys are performing at the
Macy's Thanks Heaving Day Parade. Yes, right, very cool. Did
you watch that as a kid?

Speaker 18 (52:45):
Actually just got like I did remember going to a
parade as a kid when I was in New Jersey.
I thought that was a Christmas parade. But is it
separate or that's like one will be there? No, exactly
what I think it was the Macy's. Yeah, so I
definitely went there.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
The big floats and everything, like, oh my god, I
hope it doesn't get away.

Speaker 14 (53:03):
And I vaguely remember exactly. I was like five, so
I vaguely remember by being iconic.

Speaker 4 (53:09):
Before we move on to Thanksgiving, the roomy costume was
the number one costume for kids with trick or Treating.
It sold out on Amazon.

Speaker 5 (53:17):
John it looks for three weeks.

Speaker 1 (53:21):
Costume.

Speaker 2 (53:21):
Yeah, I couldn't try to be anywhere.

Speaker 7 (53:28):
Order pieces separately. It was like a yellow bomber jacket.
I like had a wig that didn't come in time,
so we waited TikTok there. But it was just so
it was like every place I went, there were so
many kids, so many adults, like everyone had that costume.

Speaker 18 (53:42):
This year we had a bet like who's gonna which
character would have the most you know, kids wearing the
costume and it was definitely roomy.

Speaker 2 (53:49):
Was it really? Yeah?

Speaker 13 (53:50):
I think it.

Speaker 18 (53:51):
I thought it would be like Bobby, because that's something
easiest that costume.

Speaker 2 (53:56):
Roomy.

Speaker 1 (53:56):
It is like walking around like seeing kids dressed up
as a character that you play.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
Like, what a weird.

Speaker 5 (54:02):
Honestly, I was just like, yes, we did it.

Speaker 14 (54:06):
I feel you're great. Yeah, it's all so cute, like
kids accepting it.

Speaker 2 (54:11):
It's such a well.

Speaker 4 (54:12):
My nieces were the ones who told me about the film.
They are six and nine, and when they first told
me about it, it was months before I feel like
it really took off. And then so I decided to
watch it, and my goodness, I was weeping at the
end just because of like, yes, you guys are fighting
the demons with your music, but then if you really

(54:34):
look at it, you know you're fighting your inner demons,
you know, as adults and as you're going through life.
And I was just like, I had no idea that
this movie was would have such an impact on me
as a woman in my forties.

Speaker 19 (54:47):
Really, wow, the oh my goodness, thank you. Okay, okay, wow, sorry,
that's just like me off guard.

Speaker 4 (55:00):
Wow, girl, you're look great.

Speaker 14 (55:02):
But yeah, this movie.

Speaker 18 (55:03):
What I love about it is that it's not just kids,
it's like everybody, and the music is enjoyed by all ages,
and so it's a theme that everyone can enjoy and understand.
Everyone has their demons, right.

Speaker 2 (55:15):
I also am hearing there's a little bit of Oscar
buzz in the air. Would that be insane to be
part of a project like that? There's nod he but yeah,
can you imagine that like Oscar buzz I?

Speaker 18 (55:29):
Can the Grammy Nominations was already so crazy. I can't
digest that right now. But Oscar would be also insane.

Speaker 2 (55:37):
Right outfit picked up for the Grammars. I mean, you're
thinking that far again. I'm engaged.

Speaker 18 (55:41):
I'm about to, you know, have a wedding next year fall.
I'm not even thinking about that dress right now. I'm
thinking about Oscars and Grammy's dress.

Speaker 2 (55:48):
You're not thinking about your wedding dress. You're thinking about
the Oscar dress right now. There to figure out.

Speaker 14 (55:56):
What kind of dress fits me, you know, maybe they'll
help for my wedding dress. But that's just crazy.

Speaker 2 (56:02):
Oscar is like, what that is so good?

Speaker 18 (56:04):
Where were you when the Grammy nominations came out at
the hotel and I had I assumed the girls with
me and watched it live.

Speaker 14 (56:11):
We're just like screaming, it's amazing.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
How proud are you that, you know, Asian Americans are
starting to get their do and get recognized within our culture.

Speaker 14 (56:21):
So honored and proud to be a part of that.

Speaker 18 (56:24):
That's what's crazy, because I've been watching the Grammys and
I've never really seen, you know, people who's actually look
like me, you know, to be nominated, especially Asian women,
you know, that's what. That's a huge part of the
reason why I wanted to get on this project and
say yes to singing. For me, it's just, you know,
I want to see more of that. And if I

(56:44):
can be some kind of bridge for the any Asian
American women who have imposter syndrome to like be like, hey,
you can do it too, then I'm just.

Speaker 14 (56:53):
Honored to be.

Speaker 3 (56:54):
Well.

Speaker 2 (56:54):
We've seen the K dramas. They've really taken off recent years.
My wife watches them. Her maid name by the way, Yeah, wow,
there you go. And then we've seen all the K
pop music take effect too.

Speaker 14 (57:04):
K Beauty, K beauty.

Speaker 2 (57:06):
I don't know about the K beauty oh K kill Yeah,
she must use K beauty.

Speaker 4 (57:11):
I mean I feel like maybe, girl.

Speaker 2 (57:16):
Is that what you said?

Speaker 5 (57:17):
I said a woman in her forties?

Speaker 2 (57:22):
Do they really like?

Speaker 18 (57:23):
No?

Speaker 2 (57:23):
Way?

Speaker 14 (57:25):
Wow, this is great?

Speaker 2 (57:26):
What do they say about me?

Speaker 10 (57:29):
We have time?

Speaker 2 (57:30):
No, thanks for coming in. Thank you so much for
so nice to meet you. Good luck with everything. Okay,
thanks and congrats on the upcoming wedding too.

Speaker 7 (57:39):
Valentine in the morning, and coming up next, we have
a major show announcement.

Speaker 1 (57:44):
If you've been part of our show at all, this year.
We want to thank you.

Speaker 7 (57:48):

able to share in a long, long time. You're not
gonna want to miss this.

Speaker 1 (57:53):

s M.

Speaker 15 (57:57):
Listen anywhere with the iHeartRadio app four to three my
SM Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (58:04):
The cast of Wicked had their premiere in Singapore last
night and Ariana Grande, Cynthia Rivo, Michelle Yo, and Jeff
Goldbloom were all walking arm in arm down the carpet
with fans on each side of them, and this man
jumps over the barricade and just charges at Ariana Grande
and grabs her and starts hugging her. Cynthia Arrivo did

(58:27):
not hesitate whatsoever. She jumps in between the two of them,
gets the guy off of Ariana Grande. Security comes around.
Turns out this guy is kind of known for crashing
celebrity events. But it looked very scary though as he
was running up and luckily everybody's okay.

Speaker 2 (58:44):
But I hate those guys.

Speaker 4 (58:45):
Cynthia Arrivo just did not hesitate. She jumped right in there.

Speaker 2 (58:48):
Gay like years ago would throw stuff on people too
and they did like th son A Secrets one time.
I think it was just like a bit. They don't
like stop it, don't do that. They do it for
likes and inner and stuff, and it's just stupid.

Speaker 4 (59:02):
And Eva Longoria is teaming up with NFL Films and
the Roku channel for a new unscripted series. It's gonna
be called NFL Hometown Eats. It's gonna follow Evel Longoria.
She's traveling across all different NFL towns to explore game
day food culture. And then they said they're gonna blend
football fandom with local culinary traditions. I'm jill with their

(59:22):
anytimate headlines.

Speaker 2 (59:23):
Some texts coming in right now? Three one oh four? Three? Uh, hey,

For the first time ever, self driving taxis are gonna
be on the freeways of Los Angeles. So not the
surface streets, not just going down Hollywood or Sunset or something.

Speaker 2 (01:12:08):
You need to know right now, Here we go, Here
we go. Wamo's self driving taxis about to hit the
freeways of Los Angeles for the first time. Until now,
Waimo's robotaxis mostly sticking in the city streets. After years
of testing, the company says the cars are now ready
for freeways soon. Other companies like Tesla on Amazon zeokes,

(01:12:30):
is that, I say, John Amazons? Yeah, soox we saw
those also they're introducing self driving taxes too, onto the freeways.
So Waimo's on the freeways. So Brian, I could take
a Weimo to the airport from my house possibly now
there are.

Speaker 1 (01:12:49):
It's like certain zones, Okay, I know through downtown Lay.
I don't know if it goes all the way to
the airport yet.

Speaker 2 (01:12:55):
The god that is, I don't know. But then again,
you some drivers that are human beings and they're horrible man, right,
So I'm wondering in the end would these be safer?
You know, I'm not so sure. I'm entirely behind the
technology yet. Target introducing a new employee policy called ten

(01:13:16):
four rule. When workers are within ten feet of a customer,
they're asked to smile, make eye contact, and look friendly.
If they're within four feet, they're supposed to greet the
shopper and initiate a helpful interaction. Target says it's all
about making customers feel more welcome, especially heading into the
busy holiday season. I say, it's creepy. They're gonna be

(01:13:37):
stalking you. Oh I'm within three feet. What do I
do now I'm one foot away? Hello? John? What's trending
your music?

Speaker 7 (01:13:46):
You know, we always talk about going live on Twitch,
and this is just another reason we shaid, Justin Bieber
has done that. He's completely rigged this warehouse full of
cameras and he's been live streaming almost every single day
on Twitch. You can see him build his Coachella set,
he said at something and he's been thinking about for
a long time and now he wants to take fans
on this process. And you can see him on stage
practicing like he was just playing Daisies the other day.

(01:14:07):
And you can see him on stage with the guitarist
and they're just like in the middle of practicing, and
then they'll take a break and shoot some hoops, have lunch,
have heart to hearts with each other and you can
just watch the whole thing. Oh wow, it is incredible.
So if the audio is good and stuff, audio is great, Okay,
they got him micd up and stuff, and they have
someone switching the cameras like at all times. Oh so
it's a whole production, he said, it's like the Truman
Show kind of.

Speaker 2 (01:14:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:14:27):
So if you're a Justin Bieber fan, I highly recommend
you look him up on Twitch. It's super fascinating. I'm
John Camunci. That's what's trending in music.

Speaker 2 (01:14:34):
If you'll get out like in the Truman Show.

Speaker 6 (01:14:35):
In the end.

Speaker 7 (01:16:55):
Isn't that insane?

Speaker 2 (01:16:56):
Are this the oh?

Speaker 3 (01:16:58):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
It's like Menozoic or something like that, and there's Cretaceous.
I don't have remember that.

Speaker 1 (01:17:03):
I think they were around for like one hundred and
sixty five million years or something.

Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
Big, big variety where some didn't live near the other one.
But you watched Jurassic Park, it's like they're all hanging
out together or something.

Speaker 4 (01:17:12):
Yeah, time, I feel like they were all there at
the same time.

Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
Should you imagine, honestly for a second, what that would
be like to be back in that time? What did
the world feel like? It was so much more human
back then. Probably there's probably a different scent because we think,
oh my gosh, no carbon, no, you know, cold burning whatever.
It's pretty much cleaner and stuff. It probably was with
the stench of the animals and all that, and being
in a jungle all over this planet must have been insane.

(01:17:39):
Chill effacts.

Speaker 4 (01:17:40):
Sea otters hold hands when they sleep so that they
don't drift apart.

Speaker 1 (01:17:45):
That favorite, I love that so much.

Speaker 2 (01:17:48):
That's so cute. I love it when the baby's sleeping
on top of the mamassy art or something. Oh so cute, Brian,
your ran effect.

Speaker 1 (01:17:56):
You can't hum while holding your nose?

Speaker 2 (01:17:59):
Okay, well you can't.

Speaker 1 (01:18:01):
It's it's physically impossible.

Speaker 2 (01:18:07):
It sounds like a hump to be that's that's a nose.
What is the humming?

Speaker 16 (01:18:18):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:18:18):
Well, I'm opening my mouth because you said close my nose. No,
keep you keep your mouth, Keep my mouth closed. What
if I'm not a mouth closed hummer? What if when
I am humming I have my mouth open. You don't
have your mouth up when you're humming.

Speaker 4 (01:18:30):
No, you with your lips closed?

Speaker 2 (01:18:32):
Well, I'm a mouth open hummer. What do you get
your finger out of my nose? You weirdo? All right,
close my lips. There you go. Mmmm Because nothing isn't

(01:18:53):
super tight. I know how to plug a noose in somewhere.
I don't know. There's not an orifice open anywhere. It
has to be. I'm not humming out my butt. Maybe
you guys are wrong. Maybe it's my deviated septum allowing
something to happen. I have no idea. All right, here
I go on, Here, I go, mouth closed.

Speaker 4 (01:19:11):
Okay, there's a second, and then it's with there's air
coming out somewhere, coming on.

Speaker 2 (01:19:20):
Why are you such a hater. Maybe I have a talent. Okay,
do this. Maybe I'm the only guy that can hump
with my mouth closed.

Speaker 4 (01:19:28):
My nose clothes are giving it to you. Congratulations.

Speaker 2 (01:19:31):
I don't you already been very mean about it? What
a mean day to man? Yeah, Alfred had pointed that
out too.

Speaker 1 (01:19:38):
What do you have a fact?

Speaker 2 (01:19:40):
Yeah, I got a fact. Okay, So you know how
Elon Musk did. I said this in there the other day,
that Elon Musk made so much money with this like
trillion dollar deal. He could buy like four hundred and
thirty five or something of the world's largest cruise ship,
like four hundred and thirty five. That's so much money.
He could buy one thousand, four hundred and twenty eight show. Hey, o, Tanis,

(01:20:03):
that's how much a trillion dollars with that seven hundred
million dollar contract times one, four and twenty eight, he
could have that many show Hayes in his backyard. He
could have a show hay army, you know. And somebody
told him that. It was like some guy at a
press junket or something told him that. He said, he said,
he said, I can hum with the mouth of a nose.

(01:20:24):
Clothes in the morning at three one four, three, eight
thirty seven, it is one o four to three mimm
So the weather today, cloudie, cool, temps sixties low seventies. Man,
the temps are gonna also get very low, low low.
I mean it's pure little John with attempts. We're gonna

(01:20:45):
get very very low first rate expected later today sixty
five Ohambra sixty six in Fullerton, home of cal State Fullerton.

Speaker 1 (01:20:53):
What's tusks up to us?

Speaker 2 (01:20:54):
Up? John's a grad of there and Jill's got the
entertainment headlines coming up.

Speaker 4 (01:20:58):
We now have a premiere date for Fear Factor, the
next chapter with Johnny Knoxville. I'll tell you what it's
coming out at eight fifty.

Speaker 2 (01:21:06):
I can't imagine how bad that's gonna be. I know,
you know, John and Knoxville doing it. Yeah. It was
one thing back in the day with jo.

Speaker 4 (01:21:14):
Bugs and stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:21:15):
Yeah, but we're even worse than that. Probably that's gonna
be spanking you and hitting you with stuff at the
same time you're be wearing like underwear from some circus guy.
I don't know, Steve. Good morning. How are you?

Speaker 3 (01:21:28):
How you doing, bo?

Speaker 2 (01:21:29):
How you doing, Steve?

Speaker 3 (01:21:31):
I'm hanging in there and just going through the days.

Speaker 2 (01:21:34):
Mmmm. All right, my man, you get a random fact
for us?

Speaker 3 (01:21:40):
Are you guys ready? Are you guys ready for your
Toto factors the day? Even though it's not Toto related,
but it is Toto related.

Speaker 2 (01:21:47):
Okay, Steve, did you.

Speaker 3 (01:21:50):
Know that ninety seven percent of toilet paper is consumed
by the United States of America alone.

Speaker 2 (01:21:57):
I've heard that before, and that's why I recommend the days.
That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (01:22:03):
Yeah, Well, being your plumber, we hate and love totos.

Speaker 2 (01:22:07):
Because, uh.

Speaker 3 (01:22:10):
Toilets. Well they're great toilets. But the problem is is
working on them and installing them is a nightmare.

Speaker 2 (01:22:16):
Oh is it hard to do?

Speaker 13 (01:22:17):
Really?

Speaker 3 (01:22:19):
Oh, it's a nightmare and it's not cheap. So when
your Toto fails, expected nice hefty bill.

Speaker 2 (01:22:26):
No, no, no quarranty, don't ever say something like that.
You take those words right out of your mouth, buddy.

Speaker 3 (01:22:31):
Okay, just waiting until your bidet stops working.

Speaker 2 (01:22:36):
No, no, you're gonna be out there with the garden
hose doing that for me. You put it on the
soft spray nozzle. We'll do that. Thank you, Steve.

Speaker 3 (01:22:46):
Two inch fire hose that I can hook up to.

Speaker 2 (01:22:48):
The I don't know what that even means. I have
a two inch fire hose and the home of the spray.
I love that. Thanks. Do you see if? Eight sixty
six five four four? My fam you're random facts? Josh,
good morning? How are you?

Speaker 13 (01:23:05):
Good morning? I'm good.

Speaker 12 (01:23:06):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (01:23:06):
Guys? We did all right?

Speaker 4 (01:23:08):
What's your weird random fact?

Speaker 13 (01:23:10):
So it's not weird, but it is a fact that
I try to tell as many people as possible because
I feel like it needs to be known. So Janet
Jackson still to this day, remains the only artist in
history to have seven top five hits on the Hot
one hundred Billboard chart from one single.

Speaker 4 (01:23:27):
Album, Oh WHOA Say that one more time? Say it again?

Speaker 13 (01:23:32):
So Rhythm Nation eighteen fourteen is the only album in
history to have seven individual top five hits on the
Billboard Hot one hundred.

Speaker 4 (01:23:41):
Okay, yeah, Janet Jackson's so good.

Speaker 2 (01:23:44):
She's the best I know love.

Speaker 13 (01:23:46):
I feel like she doesn't get the recognition she deserves,
so I thought like sharing that on the radio gives
her a little bit of shout out.

Speaker 2 (01:23:52):
Yes, you're a big Janet fan like that. Man, I
love that song again, her power ballad again. That's so good. Yeah, Janet, Yeah,
that's too Yeah Janets. Dude, well good hang man, thanks
for the rain fact. Appreciate you, no problem, Thanks, all right,
take care of We should work in some Janets, Yes,

(01:24:16):
we should. That song again is so good. I know
I'm the only one that probably loves it besides you
in the room, but I love it. It's so good.
Hey Melissa, good morning. How are you.

Speaker 12 (01:24:24):
I'm good?

Speaker 3 (01:24:25):
How are you good?

Speaker 2 (01:24:25):
So what's your random effect?

Speaker 12 (01:24:28):
Okay, so I don't have a random fact. I have
a question about the IKEA bed. Is that the mattress
or the frame or both?

Speaker 5 (01:24:37):
Laura, that is a great question. Upon googling it said
it can be either mattress.

Speaker 2 (01:24:42):
Or off Bedfrid also, they use both in their study.

Speaker 4 (01:24:45):
Well, both would be the double combo that says apparently
six percent around the world, six percent of babies around
the world a fully Ikea double rame frame and ma.

Speaker 5 (01:24:56):
S that's be where we go down if you split
the two.

Speaker 2 (01:24:58):
But that seems kind of rare, you know, just so
you were saying that basically one in ten babies were
conceived on a bed made by Ikea. Is that worldwide
or nationalized worldwide? So it could be skewed though maybe
people like in you know, Scandinavia or whatever, cranking out
those Okia beds a lot of kids. Yeah, where's that kid?
Is it Swiss or something Switzerland or something like that?

(01:25:20):
Of those countries over there, Rightweden Swedish meets I feel like, is.

Speaker 5 (01:25:23):
The famously.

Speaker 2 (01:25:26):
We're making Swedish meatballs tonight, honey. You know what that means?

Speaker 4 (01:25:30):
Get the Ikea bed Swedish company.

Speaker 2 (01:25:32):
Swedish company. So yeah, the entire country of Sweden is
probably using Ikea beds. Yep, So that kind of excus
it a little bit.

Speaker 4 (01:25:39):
The head quarters now in the Netherlands, right, I didn't
know they had mattresses though.

Speaker 1 (01:25:43):
That's kind of interesting.

Speaker 5 (01:25:44):
Great mattresses.

Speaker 1 (01:25:45):
All of my frames have been Ikea.

Speaker 2 (01:25:46):
Have their religion, but not the Mattress to conceiving. You know,
we should do one day, Melissa. I don't know if
you'd be into this or not, but should we like
very early? So no kids in the car obviously, and
we're always little ears in the car. How many people
know their conception story? Oh yeah, I don't know. I

(01:26:09):
don't think I do.

Speaker 5 (01:26:10):
I don't know me neither, what Mattress.

Speaker 12 (01:26:15):
I don't know my contesting story, but I do know
that my mom tricked my dad. Oh all right, she
went off control and didn't.

Speaker 2 (01:26:24):
Tell him, okay, and did everything work out okay in
their relationship?

Speaker 8 (01:26:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 12 (01:26:31):
Oh yeah, everything's fine right, all right?

Speaker 2 (01:26:33):
Yeah, the old trick.

Speaker 12 (01:26:34):
But he doesn't know. He doesn't know to this day.

Speaker 1 (01:26:36):
So maybe that's why he probably does.

Speaker 2 (01:26:38):
Now what you just broke that family secret.

Speaker 12 (01:26:42):
He lives in Oregon, so he's not listening, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:26:46):
And where's your mom live?

Speaker 12 (01:26:48):
She actually passed away twenty years ago.

Speaker 2 (01:26:50):
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, but he didn't know.
Does she tell you.

Speaker 11 (01:26:55):
My aunt told me your aunt to Oh my.

Speaker 2 (01:26:57):
God, the family secrets going on here? Wow? And have
you ever told anybody in the public forum before?

Speaker 11 (01:27:05):
No, not a public forum. I've told like my friends.

Speaker 2 (01:27:08):
Wow, I feel honored now and do you feel relieved
getting that out there?

Speaker 6 (01:27:13):
Not at all?

Speaker 11 (01:27:14):
I can care less.

Speaker 2 (01:27:15):
Okay, no, but I think Melissa ending the call with yeah,
I could care less your topic, guys, Melissa, thanks for
calling you great day. Okay, thank you too, all right,
thanks LUs quality someone you loved. It is one of
four to three my Fm'm'm doing this.

Speaker 18 (01:27:36):
Soon.

Speaker 15 (01:27:38):
One O four to three my SM Entertainment headlines Fear Factor.

Speaker 4 (01:27:43):
The next chapter with Johnny Knoxville has a premiere date,
the reboot. The reboot will debut on Wednesday, January fourteenth,
nine pm on Fox and you'll be able to stream
it on Hulu. And in this show, a group of
strangers will all live together in a remote location where
they'll have to do stunts, gross challenges, and a quote
twisted game of social strategy and then in the end,

(01:28:05):
one winner will receive a grand prize. So Joe Rogan
hosted the original Fear Factor in two thousand and one,
then again in twenty eleven, Ludacris hosted MTV's version of
it as well, and now Johnny Knoxville's will premiere January fourteenth.

Speaker 2 (01:28:18):
Joe Rogan back in the day when Fear Factor first
started doing a lot of press for it. They didn't
know the show was going to take off. So that
first season, Joe Rogan came by when I was doing
Afternoon as a Kiss across the street, and he came by,
and he came in with like spiders and Madagascar, hissing
cockroaches and all these different things. We had to eat stuff,
have things in our mouth. No, it was discussed.

Speaker 4 (01:28:38):
Oh, Gosha, you did it.

Speaker 2 (01:28:39):
Yeah, there was one of them. I forget what it was,
what the animal was, but it was like something you
had to put in your mouth. You didn't have to
eat it, but you had to have it in your
mouth for certain number minutes or a seconds rather and
it was like biting on my lip and drawing blood.
Oh it was a love Yeah, it was a lot.
It was like a little crab of some sort and
you had to hold it in your mouth. Oh godod
period of time.

Speaker 4 (01:28:58):
I'd love to see video of.

Speaker 7 (01:28:59):
This, Johnny Knoxville doing it, because like, if you don't
do the stunt like I believe he would, like, you
cannot do Johnny Knoxville.

Speaker 2 (01:29:08):
He'll probably do it here. I do that on the
weekend for fun Totally.

Speaker 4 (01:29:11):
Dud an Adel said she'd be stepping away from music
for a little bit and now she is taking on
her first movie role. She's gonna be the female lead
in cry to Heaven, which is based on the nineteen
eighty two novel from Anne Rice, and it's in pre
production right now in Rome and London. I'm Jill for there.
Tavin headlines Anne.

Speaker 2 (01:29:31):
Rice to Vampire Lady's going to be Yeah, okay, very cool.
Eight fifty five. There's one thousand bucks coming up at
nine o'clock and also right now one a four to
three myfen dot com slash party, one a fourth three
myfen dot com slash party. If you want to join
us at Knots Mary Farm this year.

Speaker 4 (01:29:49):
Nice me.

Speaker 2 (01:29:54):
Justin Weeber. Watch him on Twitch. John was breaking the
story earlier. He's practicing in a warehouse and he's putting
everything at which the entire thing right.

Speaker 7 (01:30:03):
Yeah, dude, it's super cool. And the younger generation's like
so into streaming, you know what I mean. So it's
kind of cool that he's capitalizing on that and just
kind of leaning into it.

Speaker 10 (01:30:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:30:10):
I'm in the streaming too, John, and I'm not part
of the younger generation quest, Yeah, big streamer guy, could.

Speaker 1 (01:30:17):
You like to watch.

Speaker 2 (01:30:20):
Justin Bieber? I just did the sky almost a little
nause x for random reci Why not? But he does
it in the street, you know, he just walks down
the street like that. A big hit last night memory
care center. Last night was karaoke night, but they upped it.
They had this gentleman come in with his like trio
and he was on piano, had a guy and based
a guy in drums, and so everybody's singing along to

(01:30:41):
that and a lot of them doing the older songs
and I want to live it up. So of course
he did Sweet Caroline, which is a number one hit
and a memory care center heck yeah. Though there has
been some complaints in my mom's memory care center that
maybe we give Sweet Carolina rest, but last night with
New Flesh, you could not give it a rest.

Speaker 5 (01:30:58):
Yeah, you had to do it.

Speaker 2 (01:30:58):
It was like a casino nine. They had all these
games going on. So a lot of family members are
coming and I told Jill it's kind of like church
on Christmas where there's new people coming in who come
once a year or something like that. Right, And as
a kid going to Saint John's in Connecticut. I always
get excited. I'm like, oh, maybe some pretty girl we'll
come to church and sit near me. Oh no, they

(01:31:20):
when they heard me speak like that, they said, no,
I'm not gonna sit her here. But I did a
song last night that I bet you because I know
this girl's musical knowledge. If I start singing, just a
smitch John peaked, don't freak. I did this last night
with the piano, bass and druma and I killed it
at the memory care center. It's not necessarily that melodic
or hard to sing, but they hadn't heard it. And
I know you're gonna fill in the blanket sins.

Speaker 1 (01:31:41):
I do it. Okay, I'm ready, you're ready to try.

Speaker 4 (01:31:43):
I think so.

Speaker 2 (01:31:44):
She knows her stuff. Here we go and I'll say
it hey, pretty late. I wants you give me a sign.
I'd give anything to make your mine on mine. Dude,
you're betting the beach.

Speaker 10 (01:31:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:31:53):
I never seen anyone looking so fine.

Speaker 6 (01:31:55):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:31:56):
I got out a Havers. She's one of a kind.
I'm going once, going twice. I'm solid. The lady in
the second rom Lives, I'm about to be County auction.

Speaker 12 (01:32:11):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:32:12):
Oh, they love it.

Speaker 4 (01:32:13):
Oh my gosh, this is some harmony is going to
right there.

Speaker 2 (01:32:17):
They loved it. They loved it. It wouldn't, my gosh,
Elizabeth rocking out in the back. My mom's so proud.

Speaker 4 (01:32:25):
Oh my goodness, high energy song too.

Speaker 2 (01:32:28):
I was sweating, I bet, I was sweating at the end, honesty,
and two people passed out. There was EMTs on scene
and they were fine, Okay, what is this? They had
a raffle at the end and Marty won everything.

Speaker 3 (01:32:41):
What is that?

Speaker 4 (01:32:42):
How did he win everything?

Speaker 2 (01:32:43):
Well, it was like casino night at my mom's memory
care center. So you got chips, you bet, and then
you get raffle tickets for whatever you want. And mom
with like two thousand bucks in winning, so she got
like a lot of raffle tickets. Fifteen was a max
and fifteen was a max. Anybody could get it, right, Okay,
Marty won eight pro you want to tell me that's
not rigged. He got fifteen tickets and he won eight times,

(01:33:06):
and other people never won because Marty slipped Julia twenty
something happened. Those old folks are fine. And then Marty's
wife Cindy was winning too, so he won eight times.
Cindy won twice.

Speaker 1 (01:33:18):
It should be like one per household.

Speaker 4 (01:33:19):
Yeah, it should be done.

Speaker 2 (01:33:21):
Oh my god, I never thought of that. Yeah, you're right,
we said that. So my mom finally won at the end, right,
like two prizes left. You know what we got to
choose from a small travel first aid kit.

Speaker 1 (01:33:33):
Hey, those can come in handy, or a pair of
cat socks. Gosha, he'll be with with the songs socks
or socks with cats on them.

Speaker 2 (01:33:42):
I wasn't sure. I wasn't sure.

Speaker 8 (01:33:45):
And SUV's to full size trucks. Experience the incredible power
and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrified.

Speaker 12 (01:33:52):
Three things you need.

Speaker 6 (01:33:54):
To know right now.

Speaker 2 (01:33:56):
After forty three days, the government shutdown is finally over.

Speaker 10 (01:34:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:34:01):
So I have my friend Mark today who works for NASA.
He was out during the government shutdown. He goes, I
got to see if my passwords still work when I
get back and stuff. You know, that means thousands of
federal workers start getting paid again, Food aid and other
government benefits resume. Air travel should start returning to normal
over the next few days. Still, many federal workers struggling
for a few weeks, so keep us in mind, or
even a few months because a lot of bills have
piled up. Hopefully people are understanding of that, these bill

(01:34:24):
collectors and these companies and stuff. But these people didn't
have paychecks, So give them all the grace they need.
Way Moo's self driving taxis are about to hit the
freeways Los Angeles for the first time. Until now, Waymo's
robotaxis have mostly stuck to city streets after years of
testing in the highways. The company says cars now ready locally. Soon.
Other companies like Tesla on Amazon Zooks will also introduce

(01:34:45):
self driving taxis onto the freeways very soon. Your kid
will he need to take a driver's license test? Dude,
I think about that all the time. I don't think
my kids will like I think I think Mikey. Yes, yeah,
we're not gonna be able to afford any sort of
self driving anything. No, but they're taxis. Yeah, but I

(01:35:05):
mean he's gotta get places. Yeah, I'm gonna pay for
a taxi every time I get this good? No, thank you?

Speaker 1 (01:35:10):
Okay, she you're gonna pay for a car instead in
car insurance and all.

Speaker 2 (01:35:13):
That stuff that still seems cheaper. Who knows by that time?
Who knows?

Speaker 10 (01:35:17):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:35:18):
Amaya? Do you think she'll get a driver's license. How
old am I a?

Speaker 1 (01:35:21):
She's four?

Speaker 2 (01:35:22):
Okay, I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (01:35:23):
You don't think so, I don't think so.

Speaker 4 (01:35:25):
Oh that's sad.

Speaker 2 (01:35:26):
Listen to John. I don't know. I'm just I don't
answer the questions.

Speaker 3 (01:35:30):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (01:35:31):
My job is merely to pose the question. I bet
I could get a cheap rundown car for way way
less than paying for Yeah, but the way things are going, dude,
eleven years from now, who knows. When your kid turns,
he goes, Dad, All my friends are riding the robost.
They all have cars that pick them up, Dad, And

(01:35:51):
you want me to to control this wheel, Dad, My
foot's cramping on the gas. It's cramping up, Dad. John
was for music.

Speaker 7 (01:36:00):
So Lady Gaga has a viral moment right now. She
was at one of her shows on her Mayhem Ball tour.
She stopped the entire thing. She paused mid song because
one of the fans was in need of some medical attention,
so she said stop, stop, like, is everyone okay? She
made sure that fan got water and got escorted out,
and she said, that's a lot more important than show business,
and that's why they call her mother. I'm John Kamunci

(01:36:20):
that's what's trending in music.

Speaker 2 (01:36:22):
She got her escorted out here, cousin a bit of
a scene. Get her out of here. Wait one O
four to three, my fam, it's Valence out of the morning.
What a show? What a show was today? What a show?
We did so much today listening to the podcast, I
may not just because it's triggering. You had a rough one,
had a rough one. You guys were all over me
from the very beginning. She destroyed me in the contest

(01:36:44):
this morning, her dumb game, and then Adam thanked me
by giving me somebody that wasn't paying attention.

Speaker 5 (01:36:49):
He wants to talk to you about that.

Speaker 2 (01:36:51):
I don't want to talk to him. You was a producer, Adam,
you can hear me. Don't about the coming in. You
as a producer can talk to him about it. He
knows what he did and he is sorry. Yeah, sorry,
don't work. Hurry up, hurry up, move faster. You're a slough.
What do you want to say for yourself? I'm so sorry.

Speaker 12 (01:37:09):
That was.

Speaker 1 (01:37:10):
He probably should have been on Jill's team and then
it would have evened it out.

Speaker 2 (01:37:13):
It might have. Yeah, that was the lady was on
Jill's team in a contest. Today we had the guest
one second songs. John comes up with these one second songs.
There was Christmas theme today and Jill got like everyone
right in a heartbeat. And I had a partner that
was supposed to be my phone or friend and every
time it go to me be like, what hold on,
I'm working on something? He was working I t at

(01:37:34):
the time and actually in putting code into a computer
while he was supposed to be playing a game with me. Yeah,
and then there was it was just a barrier.

Speaker 1 (01:37:41):
Sometimes that's just the luck of the draw, how it goes.

Speaker 2 (01:37:43):
Sometimes it's not.

Speaker 17 (01:37:45):
How would you.

Speaker 4 (01:37:46):
Scream, though? How would you scream to make.

Speaker 2 (01:37:48):
Sure that that say, sir, are you working right now? Yes?
I am. Will you be able to stop working and
not input code into your computer for a second to
play a game on the radio? No I won't. Okay,
well I'm sorry you can't play that. That would have
been one way to do it, Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:38:01):
Those would have been good questions asked.

Speaker 2 (01:38:03):
So anyway, I got destroyed by Jill and people laughed
at me, and she was just putting it in my
face and it was just a big humble pie of
you know, wow, this girl's great ad. Name that tune.
That's what it works.

Speaker 1 (01:38:15):
A bit of a menty bee, you know what a
little menty bee on your end.

Speaker 2 (01:38:18):
A mental breakdown is a little bit. I don't think
it was a mental breakdown. I think I was being
hammered by you guys. Listen back to the podcast.

Speaker 4 (01:38:26):
Yeah, I was a gracious winner.

Speaker 2 (01:38:31):
Well that I don't know about.

Speaker 4 (01:38:32):
Hey, the Texters are one thing. They were not gracious.

Speaker 2 (01:38:36):
They were excited for me, but people felt bad that
you were beating me, like brow beating and physically.

Speaker 4 (01:38:45):
Let's go back and listen.

Speaker 2 (01:38:46):
I'm gonna listen, Adam, pull that podcast. I'll go back
and listen to that. So that all happened, and then
we made our big announcement, not Smurry Farm, We're back
there this year. John had the wrong date. We fixed that.
It's a Thursday night, which is a great Thursday night.
Sounds like a lot of fun. Yeah, shutting down Knotsberry Farm,
taking it over. You guys want to go, You can
go right now to one A fourth three mile in
that comp slash party to get your passes. One A

(01:39:08):
four three mice in the comp Slash Party, and then
Rumy was on the show today.

Speaker 4 (01:39:13):
Yes, EJ the singing voice of Roomy from K pop
Demon Hunters, which was so cool.

Speaker 2 (01:39:18):
She's got a brand new song she sings Golden that's
the girl singing it. And she was in the studio
of the brand new song that she has. So a
lot went on in today's show.

Speaker 5 (01:39:25):
Yeah, it was jam packed.

Speaker 2 (01:39:26):
Anything else I missed from today's show?

Speaker 1 (01:39:28):
A lot of fun facts.

Speaker 2 (01:39:29):
A lot of fun facts happened as well. Yeah, and
then somebody came up to my idea, like, tell us
your conception story. I don't know if that's gonna fly
or not.

Speaker 1 (01:39:38):
That was interesting.

Speaker 2 (01:39:40):
I mean, did you have one? I know how my
kids were conceived. I think it can't even really be
fully sure, but one night in Hawaii, I think the
math works out and okay, on uh oh, you must
be missing. I'm sorry percept shown story. You're Dave Concepcion,
the manager of the Reds. Have you ever met him?
Tell us your Dave conceptions? That's what I meant. She

(01:40:01):
was an old baseball player, well.

Speaker 15 (01:40:03):
Me and Dave except one night in HAWAIIM Entertainment Headlines.

Speaker 4 (01:40:10):
Sarah Jessica Parker has won a few Golden Globes before,
and now it was just announced she's going to receive
the Golden Globes twenty twenty six Carol Burnett Award for
Trailblazing Impact on Television in January, and the Golden Globe
says Sarah Jessica Parker's trailblazing impact on television and her
dedication to storytelling across stage and screen had left, has

(01:40:33):
left and into what is this word indeliable?

Speaker 2 (01:40:39):
I should have indelible, don't you? John was coming over
the help. That was the worst phone of friend. That's
like my phone of friend earlier. That indelible, indelible. I
think I've never heard indelible.

Speaker 5 (01:40:51):
I should have read the expire quote ahead of time.

Speaker 2 (01:40:55):
Yeah, she left her mark on jellible.

Speaker 5 (01:40:58):
Oh goodness. I was doing so well.

Speaker 4 (01:41:00):
And Paramount Plus is raising its prices. They announced it
starting on January fifteenth. New prices will go into effect
for subscribers of Paramount Plus. The AD supported tier will
now cost eight ninety nine, so it's increasing one dollar
from the previous seven ninety nine. And then the tier
with no ads is also going to go out by

(01:41:22):
a dollar. And then without ads for a year. They
are decreasing it by twenty dollars. I'm Jill with their
entertainment headlines. What happened you two?

Speaker 2 (01:41:32):
Let's have nothing?

Speaker 5 (01:41:33):
What happened?

Speaker 2 (01:41:34):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 4 (01:41:34):
I've never seen you lap that hard before?

Speaker 2 (01:41:37):
Silently. I don't know what.

Speaker 4 (01:41:39):
You got out of your chair and bent over.

Speaker 2 (01:41:43):
Whoa.

Speaker 4 (01:41:44):
It was so funny.

Speaker 2 (01:41:45):
Something was said between Brian and I that you know,
it was just it was a funny little boy okay thing.
Brian's just funny?

Speaker 4 (01:41:54):
Was it indelible?

Speaker 12 (01:41:55):
It was?

Speaker 2 (01:41:56):
That was the inspiration. Yeah, indelible. You left your mark
on us as well.

Speaker 11 (01:42:02):
Jill.

Speaker 2 (01:42:02):
Thank you for show.

Speaker 4 (01:42:03):
Thank you for your show.

Speaker 2 (01:42:04):
John, thank you for show. Welcome to your show, right, Burran,

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
