It's the Valentine in the Morning replay Welcome to the
breakfast table, A Valentine in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
I laughed heartily, help us respectful to say I love you.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
One of four three Baby Eat is Valentine in the Morning.
Good morning, Jill, how are you hey.
Speaker 4 (00:19):
Good morning, I'm good. We watched Frankenstein.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
Don't Don't, don't, don't don't.
Speaker 4 (00:26):
No spoilers or nothing to give it away or anything,
but it's very good. We loved it.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
We started watching that the other night. My wife sat down,
turned it on. I was sitting there by the fire.
I fell asleep in five minutes, just because I was tired,
and she kept watching it.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
She didn't stop it.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
No, she knew. Like an hour in, I wake up because,
oh you're asleep. I didn't know you know. No, maybe
I don't know, but I'm like, you knew, you knew
I was asleep. No, really, I didn't know you were asleep.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
That's a rule in our house because my husband falls
asleep very quickly on the couch, and so if I
was heat, we turn off he pause it.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
No, no, he started the movie. I think if you
fall asleep you fall asleep, that's on you. There have
been so many shows I've started with my girlfriend and
then I fall asleep.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
That's all.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
I'm not gonna make her stop watching the show just
because I'm snoozing.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
Well, then you can't watch it together because you missed it,
and that's you can try and wake the person up
and go, hey, are you gonna watch this or something?
You don't just keep going. I want to make it
up on my own time.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
I would rather watch with him. Yeah, I'll pause it
and then start something I want to watch, like another
TV show or something.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
No, you're a decent human being. You guys are too
nice John? Or not decent human being? Too nice? John?
How are you, buddy? Pretty good man.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
I've started to realize that I feel like I need
more single friends. I went out to sushi the other
night with a couple of my friends and one of
them single, and I'm just like listening to his dating
stories and They're just so fun to listen to now
that I've been out of that game for so long,
Like I forget what the stories are, like, you know,
like everything he's going through right now is like exciting
and fun and like different and excited, like just fun
(01:57):
to hear about.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Uh oh no, I don't be there. I like not
being involved in that, but I like being entertained. Okay.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
I was like, man, all my best friends are in relationships,
like we don't get those stories very and so now
that we were hanging out with a single friend, I
was like, he should come around one.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Can you find that stuff on Reddit or something to
sit back and read a couple of threads.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
I don't know those people. It's not the same.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
You want a connection, you want the gossip.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Okay, you want the connection, you want some gossip. My wife,
and I think Brian's wife too, loves gossip. And we
had some really juicy work gossip the other day, like
really really juicy behind the scenes. Not our station, another station, yeah,
but really juicy word gossip. And as soon as they
get home, I go have a seat. Let me pour
(02:45):
your glass of something. You're gonna want to hear this.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
My husband does not gossip, but that story he listened
to every word.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Oh he's it every word?
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Yes, yes, yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
That was a good one. Yeah, one day we'll be
would tell that story on the air.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
I don't see a reason why we couldn't even tell
it now, No, it didn't happen to us. We didn't
do it if we're not involved in it.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
But I was told in confidence.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
And I've heard that sort from eighty people already, if anybody, okay,
I've heard from like eighty people.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Thank god.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
All right, Hi, coming up, what a story. It's Valence
in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
Because listen anywhere with the free iHeartRadio app one four three.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
One O four to three. My family, It's Valentine in
the Morning.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
Yesterday, John made a comment about admiring a man. There
was somebody on TV. He thought that they were very handsome,
and he said, as a straight guy, you appreciate the
beauty of another man.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
I don't think I said it lay, but yeah, that's
how I meant it.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Well. It was so funny because after the show yesterday
I saw this article where straight men were ranking the
hottest guys the hottest celebrities this game.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
I mean, how often have I talked about Chad Michael Murray, Yes,
right right, yeah, great guy.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
He didn't make the top ten, but in the top
time we got Pedro Pascal.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
He does not do it for me.
Speaker 6 (04:15):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Really, when I saw him going around on his little
uh scooter had the arm problem there. One of the
award shows, he gets some busted up arm or something,
and I just can't get that image out of my mind.
He's a handsome gent He's okay, he's fine. I wouldn't
say the hottest, but no, I would not hate man.
I think it's because his name is Page Pascal. He
just has a nice ring.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
I love him, Brad Pitt Classic.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
I feel like we've moved on from that, like there
was a time.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
Even in F one. I feel like he made a
little bit of a looks come back in F one.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
I think he had a little bit of work done
for F one. Oh yeah, F one said for a
face one.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
Paul Newman, the solid dressing guy.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
The salad dressing guy.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Is that Newman's oh oh jo oh no?
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Is he the animated guy on.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Oh my God?
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Paul Newman one of the greatest actors of all time?
Speaker 4 (05:10):
Really he was a salad god because I see his
name in these lists.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
God, alright, let me look him way up. Paul Newman
acting credits.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
Okay, okay, okay, okay, Oh.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
My god, Becky look at her thought the salad dressing guy.
Go ahead, start reading acting credits from Paul Newman for me.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
Okay, cool hand, Luke cool?
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Look you ever heard that, Moe? No, you've never heard
a cool hand.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Look.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
I have not continue on.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
But Cassidy and the Sun Dance Kid. I have heard
of that one. Keep going the Color of Money, Yes,
hold on, that's all it had. Right. Let me again.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
I've yet to hear one that I know.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
Are you reading about?
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Read about Loud the Hustle. These are legendary movies.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
He was in Car, the animated movie. Now we're getting.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Somewhere, Empire, Doc Hudson, the old guy racer, Car Newman phenomenal,
not just for salad dressing.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Okay, here's the salad dressing guy.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
That's good for him? Oh my god, John? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (06:26):
Should I continue on? Eighties Harrison Ford, they specified you McGregor,
Ryan Gosling, number three, number three, Henry Cavill.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Okay, okay, yeah, number two, Hugh Jackman interesting. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
And then the number one hottest guy according to straight men,
Chris Evans, Captain America.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
I do love that man.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
We're just watching a movie my girlfriend and I the Materialists.
I think it was. It's goscal and I was just
like gloating about Chris have and I was like, man,
this guy's just so attracked, and my girlfriend's I don't
really see it. Oh really Yeah, maybe he's like more
for the male gaze.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
I don't know. Could be. Well, it's good to know
that the guy who' said nine total nominations for Oscars
and also an Oscar winner himself was identified as this
salad dressing guy.
Speaker 5 (07:18):
Listen anywhere with the free iHeartRadio app one O four
to three my FM.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
One of four to three my fam ate his valance
in the morning. Last night, I had some chili. We
made chili. I did make it a low bean chili,
like I used different beans because sometimes it gets very gassy.
Speaker 7 (07:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Man, I love chili, but you have like two balls boy,
and some of us just don't do as well with
those things as others. Yeah, so very specifically for after
the soccer game last night, Ded sitting in the crockpot
turned out pretty nice.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Yeah, I love a good crockpot meal during one last
night too, did it so easy? It was a chicken
dish with a little balsamic vinegar olive oil.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Oh that's what you make quite off and is no
this is a new one.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
My Tuscan chicken is the one I make that's with artichokes.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
And my tusk chicken, and then I use a little
Newman's sound addressing and put it down and it's fantastic.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
I will never forget Paul.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
Newman, nor should it was great.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
I saw this article about parents and a little warning
about toys that are coming out for the holiday season
for their kids. A lot of AI like built in
AI toys and have a feature like that, whether it's
a toy that talks or you know, something like that.
They're saying now that they're finding with more research, these
AI features can lead these kids down a dark path
(08:39):
where it starts like kind of innocent when you're like
talking to your toys, of course, and so they're making
sure that parents know they're doing more research into it.
There's like this group that's now hired just to make
sure that these toys are safe. But there's talking about
like where to find matches, and they're like finding that
these toys just you don't know where they're.
Speaker 6 (08:56):
Going to go.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
I wanted to warn parents buying buy toys for the
holiday season to be aware.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Yeah, I didn't know they're doing toys either spooky and
then toy comes alive. Well, AI just inherently itsel if
there's another case whound the news the other day, it
was very very sad about a young man that took
his own life because of AI. That's the allegase. Obviously
they have a lawsuit against open AI and chat Schueta stuff.
And it was a different one than the one that
was just down the street here. It was another case.
(09:23):
I think, yeah, yeah, And did you hear the stuff
that AI was telling John No, I didn't see this
one all right. So they were reading stuff from the
prompts of what AI was saying back to this young man,
and it basically was encouraging him. It was unbelievable some
of the stuff. And I listen, I use AI probably
as far as I know the most of my family
they make fun of me for it. So I don't
(09:44):
think my kids really embraced it yet those schools are
now embracing it. I think it was TCU was asking
for a supplemental and a lot of schools tell you
for college applications, a lot of schools tell you, hey,
you can't say I can't say I. And they were
going go ahead, use AI. We know you're going to.
It's part of life, is going to be part of
the go forward. You know, we want you to use
it for thought, start as kickstarts whatever, not did your
(10:05):
entire thing. But if you wanted to check your PUNCU punctuation, punctuation,
if you wanted to check that, go ahead hit it.
So they were saying that, yes, you can use it
in a responsible way. So it's not going away. But
when I heard that story about that young man, it
just it absolutely broke my heart. And this is crazy.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Some of those schools they do have like they're starting
to use like their own in house AI programs. I
think we even have one for work. We have like
a special co pilot, which is the Microsoft version, And
some of the schools are starting to do that too,
And they're supposed to have more guardrails, but like, how
do you really know what's safe and what's not?
Speaker 1 (10:36):
You know, well, the stuff this thing was saying was
so horrific you'd want to shut AI down like today
based on it. Yeah, it's crazy. I'll find the story
in sentence you all right, it is Valentine the Morning.
If I want to reach out to be part of
the show three one oh four three three one oh
four three, or you can always call in as well.
Eight sixty six five four four my FM.
Speaker 6 (10:56):
Yeah, that's the way it goes.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
One four three FM FO three my FM entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
This is not prerecorded. People are voting over at ranker
dot com on the best late night hosts of all times?
Tith you agree. Here's the top five so far. Number
five John Stewart, number four, Craig Ferguson, David Letterman coming
in at number three, The best late night host of
all time, Number two Conan O'Brien, and then number one
(11:26):
Johnny Carson and I refuse to say the real name
of the show on the air, but Jack Butt star
Johnny Knoxville announced on Instagram that he got married over
the weekend. He married his longtime girlfriend Emily Ting and
the ceremony was officiated by John Waters. I'm Jill with
entertainment headlines on Valentine in the Morning. It's Valentine in
(12:04):
the morning. My goodness, val stepped out for a quick second.
I ran over here to take the controls and oh no,
you're hold on, I'm not see there.
Speaker 8 (12:13):
We go.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
It's confusing there's so many buttons over there. I don't
know how he does it.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
Val does so much over here, and I turned my
mic on that's labeled Val and Ryan's.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
I bet that's probably confusing too because you look down
and you see Jill, but you're not in your spot
right now.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
You have to like run over.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
And I gotta give valve more credit for all who
does over there. Okay, it's one O four three MIFM
Valentine in the morning. We see the calls coming in,
we see the text coming in. We will have your tickets,
just not right now.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
Yeah, this hour, we'll have some tickets into our private
MIAFM holiday party. These phones like they keep ringing all
the time, we're not giving them out just this second, okay,
but sometime this hour we will make sure to get
you a four pack into a not Sperry Farm party.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
And then also it's a big day on the show
because going Stefani.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Oh she's got some new Christmas music out.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
I hear.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Yeah, there's a whole new Christmas movie coming in Amazon
Prime that she did some of the soundtrack too, So
I can't wait to see her later.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
So that'll be at seven twenty five and vow will
be back in just let's hope seconds.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Every time I hear that song, I think by the
Dairy Girls. If you don't know that show on Netflix's
an Irish comedy, you've been out for a number of
years with This song is part of the soundtrack and
every time I hear it, I just want to say
the words they say at the opening, which is very dirty.
So I can't okay those tickets for Nottsbury Farm coming up.
It is one of four to three mile fab. This
is Valentine in the Morning. I ding, I told you
(13:38):
that Nevil one of four to three mi fabin. It's
Valencine in the Morning. Bears, Bears, Bears, some kid got
chased by a barry had the jump over the counter
at a dollar store or something other night. Really yeah, bears,
bears bears all of the news again. Oh god, yeah,
I don't think it was in our area. I'm not
(13:59):
sure though, kind of half saw it on TV this morning.
Bears are out of control, man just coming in the stores,
chasing kids down. Living in Minerovia, it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
That must be so funny for someone who like just
moved to La to realize that, like we also have
bear problems in some cities, you know, and it's really
not that far out of the city, Like it's kind
of just right here.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
We have a lot of wildlife that actually goes through
our area. Like you'll hear stories of oh the mountain
lion did this, Oh the bear did that, Oh the snake,
so whatever, and somebody in another state doesn't have those problems.
Like what was the city of the Los Angeles.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
We've all built a bridge.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
It's not done.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
It's still not done.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
It's not done. Hey, the Wildlife bridge. Really it's not done, man,
it's just it's the bridge is kind of done over
the freeway and they put plants and stuff on and
everything so it looks nice. But the attachments the on
ramp and off ramp per se for the bridge, there's
nothing there. So I assume they have to fix that
because I don't think the mountain is going to jump
from the ground up to the bridge and all the
(14:57):
animals they need a walkway. So for whatever reason, I
don't in the timeline though, I'm done by now. There's
no on ramp or off ramp for the bridge, just
standalone bridge that you'd have to leap from a hill yeah,
you know, to go from the hill to the bridge.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Things take a while. I remember because now I drive
on the seventy one.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
I don't take that long here for some reason.
Speaker 6 (15:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Right, so you're driving on.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
The seventy one ever since I was a kid, when
you're passing like Chino Hills, I remember. There's always been
construction when you go visit my family. I was maybe
ten or eleven, it was always under construction. Really, they
just finished two weekends ago.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Oh wow, it's so true. I remember it later.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Yes, I think they've been working on my whole life.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
Yeah, they will. It's always repair. It's huge. There was
a bunch of work being done on Lindero when we
first moved to the thousand OOKXS area, and that took
like two to three years. We were going like, is
this gonna be done by the time the kid gets
out of high school or something? Jeez? All right, six
twenty seven, it's Valentine in the morning. This is one
of four three MYFM. Would you like to go to
knot Spurring Farm If you like to join us, call

Speaker 9 (16:41):
Good morning? How are you doing?

All right too? All right? So I got a little
game here her. Are you ready? You're nervous?
Speaker 9 (16:47):
Okay?
Speaker 7 (16:47):
Yep?
Speaker 9 (16:48):
What yeah, first time on the radio.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Oh my jod me too, me too. So we'll do
a little game here and if you get enough right,
I don't even have an answer to it. I feel
like you know, I'll say some trivia questions, and when
I feel you've sufficiently made the effort, you may be
getting tickets for not s Mary Farm. Okay, okay, five
of Santa's Reindeer.
Speaker 9 (17:12):
Rudolph Cupid, Donner Blitzen.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
Dancer answer all.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Right, all right, there you go, very good. You win.
Yeah that was a hard one. Yeah you're going. All right,
there you go. Congratulations, family four pack. We'll see you there.
You welcome. Have you ever been before?
Speaker 9 (17:37):
No, I've been trying for years.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Oh my god, it's so great, and this could be
December eleventh. We shut down the entire park just to
my FM listeners. That's the only people getting in. Everybody
else gets kicked out politely, politely, of course, and then
the my FAM listeners, you and everybody else that wins
come in. We have the park to ourselves. Congrats.
Speaker 9 (17:55):
Oh my god, my kids are going to be so excited.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
All right, I love it. Well hang tyll gets you
all said, okay.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
All right, thank you, thank you you fathers.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Give me more. I did, what are you gonna do?
Speaker 4 (18:07):
You're so fun.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
I'm just a gif.
Speaker 4 (18:09):
Come on, come on radio on ride, and I know.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
It's Valentine in the morning. It's funny to think, and
it's this is not an ego thing at all. It's
just a funny little thing in how life works. Because
we have a lot of celebrities that come byke Gwen
Stefani in studio today it's seven twenty five, stoked about her.
New kids in the block have known for years and
it's funny to think. And I never thought it would
a little kid from Connecticut. And you may have similar
moments with different parts of your industry. In life. There's
(18:39):
a band out there and then new kids that if
you go up to them on the street today and go, guys,
do you know Valentine? They would all know me. This
is weird.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
I never thought like that as a weird world.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Yeah, it is. And I don't know how many of
the artist we interview if you said, hey, do you
guys know Valentine? Would they know me? I don't know.
Some might know jillmore like Lady Gaga loves Jill oh
and I love.
Speaker 7 (18:58):
Her all right.
Speaker 4 (18:59):
Cabrera was me as a little girl, I would be
a little girl.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
No, no, Well, Reset on the other side explain this
because it's massive.
Speaker 8 (19:14):
Dragon's Believer First, I'm say a word.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
One of four to three my feminist balancine in the morning.
You had a mad crush on Ryan Cabrera. What's the
story there?
Speaker 4 (19:27):
Okay, so I loved Ryan Cabrera in high school. I
would go to all of his shows.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
Remind people who rank burr Is all the way down,
on the way down.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
True, week, It's true I had on.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
The way down. That was a big hit from right
all the way down.
Speaker 4 (19:43):
Yeah, that was his big I loved him. I was
obsessed with him. Fast forward today, I'm friends with him.
I was at his wedding. I went to his house all.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
The time, really went to his house all the time.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
Well, yes, prior to the wedding, yes, but if we
were all friends, there was nothing ever like that. A
lot of people were at the place, a lot of
people at this house.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
Yes, boy, this thing could sound so shady where you.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
Say, all right, it's friends, but like, I'm friends with him.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
Release the files. Jill released the files. Big votes that
I released the files. Uh yeah, and that's wild. I
think that you're a little girl who likes this artist
and later on you become friends with that.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
Artist, right because of the radio.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
That's cool. And our industry is so vastly different than
you know, what people do on a regular basis. Sometimes
I think we do appreciate that, but it is weird
to think that that little girl Jill who had this
crush Ryan conferr One to just become friends with this guy. Yeah,
and go to his wedding and everything.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
Yeah, it's so cool.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
So she's in the studio at seven twenty five, she's
going to find oh.
Speaker 6 (20:39):

be back in today, No, no, no, no. She has
new Christmas music. She put out that Christmas album a
while back, but then added two new songs to it.
I guess because she's doing a soundtrack for a movie
with Michelle Piper. That's seven twenty five right here one
(21:36):
of four three My Famines Valancine Morning No.
Speaker 3 (21:40):

two film, the sequel prequel to the original that came
out in nineteen ninety five, starring Appacino and Robert de Niro.
And if this happens, if Christian Bale is going to
star in it, Leonardo DiCaprio is also being eyed for
a leading role, so those two could start together. And
(22:19):
Timothy Shallomey thanks. Adam Sandler deserves an Oscar for his
movie Punch Drunk Love. He said it is one of
the most important performances. It's impactful and deeply moving. Have
you guys ever seen Punch Drunk Love.

it in the hall. No, do you know Punch Drink
Clove is all about I believe that he is uh
in love with somebody, Yes, Sandman.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
He has sisters and I'm sure I've seen it. It's
what Philip Seymour Hoffman as well to have seen it.
But Timothy Shallomy really thinks that Adam Sandler deserves an
Academy Award for that role. I'm Jill with there in
timid headlines.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
Chela May on SNL this week in or Anything, No,
it was Glenn Powell. Glenn Powell. Okay, is there a
shallow May video floating around or something? He's always got
something viral. I think there's something going around that. My
kid said it was very funny, but I have to
check it out. Okay, I think it was Timothy shallow
May that they're just found a bunch of kids yesterday.
And I don't know if it was in the pop
culture like was happening right now. It's old or something.
And I also don't know what it is, so hopefully
(23:28):
it's nothing bad, so I'll go find out what it is.
Here's Miley Cyrus Flowers.
Speaker 4 (23:35):

crazy to be first Thanksgiving that I'll be separated from
my wife and Colin separated from his mom because she's
staying here and you should probably better her house and
we're going to Is she going to go there?
Speaker 8 (24:45):

Speaker 4 (24:45):
It's up to her.
Speaker 1 (24:47):

don't know if she's into that.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
That's fine, we'll it be in comfy pants. You will
usually change.
Speaker 1 (24:53):

party going to be at your place?
Speaker 4 (25:03):
Fritz House?
Speaker 1 (25:04):
Oh so not Riverside? Oh thank god? Close to you, right,
because I could have answered that she wouldn't be coming
to that.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
Yeah, yeah, that's fine.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
So we're going for a soccer thing. He's playing in
an exhibition type thing over there or something, so it's
really cool. It's like a little all American thing they
put together or something, so that'll be fun. Gets to
meet some FIFA guys and stuff and have a good time.
So it'd be like a father son trip, which I
look at kind of like, oh wow, me and him
last time, maybe before he goes off to college.
Speaker 10 (25:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:31):

actual Thanksgiving? Are you going to celebrate it out there somewhere?
Speaker 6 (25:36):

have something for Americans that are in the country, if
you guys might seek that out. I don't know, because

it works, Vicky. I'm gonna ask you a few questions.
Are Mondo just gonna ask you the questions? Best out
of three wins a whistle tied the end of regulation,
we go to a not so tough tie breaker question
to start with the ladies. Here we go, who was
the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean?
Speaker 9 (26:45):
Oh my gosh, I should know this, Jane.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
I know, Jane, you're thinking, Jane goodall, But that's the
wrong thing. Now, Amelia Earhart.
Speaker 4 (26:58):

streaming network Netflix?

Speaker 11 (27:35):
It's not Delaware.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
It is.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
That's what we're going with. That's our answer right in
front of us.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
Armando named two of the four states that begin with
the letter A.
Speaker 9 (27:51):
Alabama, Arkansas.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
That's right. Also, guys, win nice job, battles of the

things you need to know. A major portion of the
Internet is suddenly unreachable right now, including x and Oh
my gosh, what will America do? Chat? GPT is down
(29:18):
the details in this major network outage? What else is
it affecting? That's coming up with Three things you need
to know? Free you need to know right now seven
eighteen It is Valentine in the Morning. This is one
of four to three MIFM Gwen Stefuni coming up in
studio in a few minutes here. So, the man who
jumped the barricade and rushed at Ariana Grande at the
Singapore Wicket for Good Premiere has been sentenced to jail yesterday.
(29:39):
He pled guilty to one charge causing annoyance to the
public was sentenced in nine days in jail. The judge
said his act was premeditated, should a pattern of behavior,
and he was wrong to think his actions wouldn't have
any consequences. Cloud Fare cloud Flare, rather the global network
that keeps countless websites running, I guess is currently dealing
with the widespread outage hitting huge platforms like x zoom
(30:02):
and Chat GPT. Chat GPT might be down right now.
Plote Flair says, well, they don't know what to say
because they can't use chat. They're at a loss for words.
They have done to say, but somebody did say. They've
begun fixing the problem and services are starting to recover.
Users may continue to see more errors until the problem
is completely fixed. John was training get music.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
So Kevin Jonas has a new song coming out this week.
It's gonna be called Changing, and it's his first solo song.
The only member of the Jonas Brothers that hasn't put
out his own solo music, so he's excited for that.
They're playing it a little bit on tour when they
were on tour, and now it's gonna release in full.
And the Jonas Brothers have a bit going on right now.
They just released a Christmas movie last week. Now Kevin's
gonna have a new song this week, so we'll be
sure to let you know what that sounds like when
(30:43):
it drops here on MYFM. I'm John Kamuchi. That's what's training.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
Get music. Texts coming in so excited to hear Gwen
stop by the studio she did my gender reveal. I'm
a huge fan love Vanessa gwen' safani did your gender reveal?
Who like plated or something? What would that even mean?
Speaker 4 (30:58):
Or maybe she was on stage and Vanessa brought a
sign and gave her the envelope. A lot of artists
do that. Oh really, they reveal it on stage.
Speaker 7 (31:06):
Oh okay, I've always been going to say the first goodbye.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
Here's an answer to the question, how does Gwen Stefani
do your gender reveal? Apparently it was on stage at
the Honda Center. My daughter's named after her. We got
a text. I'm so excited to hear Gwen interview. She
did my gender reveal. I'm a huge fan love Vanessa.
Gwen Stefani is coming up right after the brain you
(31:37):
know the text value. You have to ask when and
teas her about how she forgot to have you on
stage at Coachella. Your whole ensemble was fire. Yeah, this
whole thing. Last time she came in, I was supposed
to jump off the stage like crowd surf at Coachella. Yes,
And her requirement was she said, listen, if you do it,
if you run across the stage with your shirt off,
(31:59):
I'll let you crowd serve to jump off, do a
stage down. I didn't feel comfortable in my body at
that moment, in my own skin to take my shirt off.
I felt too.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
Bert Kreischer, Okay, yeah, hey, and you have to be
the one to make that decision.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
But as she comes in the studio right now, I
don't know when's up next because one O four three
my event. This is her new song, the snow Glow,
Shake the snow Glow Snow.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
Please follow us at the Valentine in the morning on Instagram.
One O four three my f m.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
Before we get into the actual interview portion. I want
to do something to make sure we're in the right headspace. Okay,
so everyone around when and all in.
Speaker 11 (32:46):
On free Okay, let's go.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
I said me me, that's very funny. How are you.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
I'm good. I can't.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
I'm right on that mic. That one's a little hard.
Speaker 11 (32:59):
If you right now. Guys, I'm looking up and I
see a Christmas meet and then I see a no.
Speaker 12 (33:04):
Doubt me, and I'm like, wow, I two totally unexpected
surprises that we didn't know we were gonna do this year,
me and myself.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
And No doubt. Do you love Christmas? You must?
Speaker 12 (33:16):
I love Christmas. I've always loved Christmas. My dream after
being you know, becoming a songwriter was to do a
Christmas record. And when I got to do that record,
that's like one of my favorite, most proud albums that
I have. I didn't think at this point I'd be
adding more to it, but I got a call to like,
it's the first time I've ever been asked to write
a song for a film.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
And the movie is Oh What Fun available December third
on Prime Video.
Speaker 11 (33:40):
But they had a menu, like we wanted to be
up tempo, it's going to be in this scene.
Speaker 12 (33:44):
Like I was like, wait, I'm not that good of
a writer to be able to like be hired like this,
but I was like, my ego is like, yeah, you
can do it. And then then obviously I got scared
and then I did it. So I don't know, it
was really really fun to be able to back into
Christmas music because I feel like at a certain point, like,
am I going to just keep adding to the record?
(34:04):
I guess I could, but I hadn't you know, done
anything with my Christmas album for a few years, so
this was just a perfect excuse.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
So the new songs Shake the Snow Globe and Hot Coco, Yes, yeah, fantastic.
Speaker 12 (34:16):
I was supposed to write one song for the film
I was on the way to the studio of Panicking,
because I you know, I had to like watch the
film and like think about like ways that I could
incorporate with the story of the film was into the music,
and but also make it still feel like a song
that's mine, and also it need to be up tembo,
and I didn't want to just do like a regular
Christmas song and it felt more like alternative ish. Anyways,
(34:39):
on the four five on the way of the studio,
like panicking, going why did I say I was going
to do this? And yeah, and the chorus just like
came and it's just also I was like fumbling for
my like phone, trying to drive like singing Christmas recording it,
and so that felt really good to at least have
like the chorus written by the time I got there.
And then we wrote the song. It was like all
(35:00):
day long, and I got home and listened. I was like, oh,
I don't think we nailed it, but we had like
another day.
Speaker 11 (35:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (35:07):
So I we got on a texting chain and I
was like, guys, we got to try to we got
to try to get it, you know. And they were
like we should do something like jingle bells and I
was like, yeah, like of course that's what everyone's trying
to do, like and so then I don't know what happened,
but I opened my computer and wrote like this song
called Hot Coco. I played them for Blake and he
was like I can't stop listening to Shake the snow Globe.
(35:29):
So then I went back in and like trimmed it
up and then now it's the lead song. So it's
kind of it's they end up using both of them.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
So I got two for one and you get the
hang with Michelle Pfeiffer.
Speaker 11 (35:40):
My dad is so creepy on me about it. He's like,
is she going to be in the studio?
Speaker 12 (35:43):
I was like, yeah, she's not gonna be in the
studio when I'm writing this song, like no, and then
so and he's not coming to New York. But hopefully
I get to meet her when we go to the premiere.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
Oh man, I bet that's so cool. It is neat
to meet people that you know, we watched over the
years in different forms of art, that that even you.
So we're meeting you. We've met you a bunch of times.
You stiffed me at Coachella. We're not going to talk
about that. I was supposed to jump off the stage
with my shirt off, remember.
Speaker 11 (36:07):
Oh my god, that would have been so cool.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
I couldn't have done it though, because there was so
much room. I wouldn't have made the jump.
Speaker 11 (36:12):
I would have made sure that you had your makeup
on before though.
Speaker 1 (36:15):
Right, Yes, full body for that, just like me. So
the next thing you need me to jump off, we'll
all be there for that or.
Speaker 11 (36:22):
Something we can do our full body makeup before.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
Yeah, it is neat though, to meet people like that,
that's fine, Michelle Ffirefer, that's gonna be huge. I'm excited
for you.
Speaker 12 (36:30):
It was just cool because there's actually a lot of
cool actors in the film. And I think it's at
that time of year. I don't know if you guys
have children, but you're always trying to find something that
everybody's gonna want to sit down, and we don't do
it anymore, Like we're all on our phones and everyone's
like just separated, and you're like the other night, we
were like tomorrow we're going to watch a movie as
(36:50):
a family, like we're doing it. And we did it,
and we watched like an old film, what was it,
Sylvester Saloone Meet Me Halfway? That's was the big song.
Okay that he's like an arm wrestler.
Speaker 11 (37:03):
And like it's like this set remember this, Okay?
Speaker 2 (37:10):
It was so good to Yes, yeah, I think so
track from over the Top.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
Yeah, you guys watch it all together and yeah, and like.
Speaker 12 (37:19):
Three times put the phone away, like we're doing it,
and it was worth it because it's like you forget
what it's like to just get lost as and you're
all on the same page, and you're all listening to
the same thing, watching the same thing.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
Who's the in your family? Who's because I feel like
it's me probably who's the phone? And police where they
You're that person that points out we don't look at
your guys all on your phone.
Speaker 12 (37:40):
Well, I feel like we all kind of do it
to each other, like I think that, Like I for
sure get called out all the time and I feel
horrible about myself and and then we all do it.
I think Blake's probably the most disciplined out of everybody, right,
and you know the kids, kids, it's.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Hard, especially with young kids too.
Speaker 11 (37:58):
They're very addictive. So and they're really good to listen
to holiday music on guys or by no doubt tickets
who you want.
Speaker 1 (38:05):
Exactly, it's very handy for that. Gwen Sefani in the studio,
hang out for another song. I'll talk a bit more too.
Speaker 8 (38:11):
Yes, Meta Carpenter, that's the spress so one.
Speaker 1 (38:21):
It's one of four three my event valence in the morning.
Gwen Sefani is here, Blake is good, kids are good.
Speaker 11 (38:28):
Everyone's great.
Speaker 12 (38:29):
Yeah, I think everyone's excited for no doubt, like right,
right as kids are kind of like because they remember
they were little, I did the Vegas Residency, the Just
Girl Residency.
Speaker 11 (38:39):
Whenever that was twenty twenty. Their memory was, you know,
this big.
Speaker 12 (38:43):
Hotel room and like they would time, they would do
like the light to let get me on stage and
go on the like they were part of the crew.
Speaker 11 (38:49):
They could go under the stage. So they remember all
that and they're like, when are you gonna do that again?
When are we going to go on? You know, like
I'm never going to And then all of a sudden,
here we are and we're doing it.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
But isn't it great? And I'm sure this is your
experience and we're all human beings, so with all different
experiences for your kids, it's like, this is what mom
does you know? My son hears me on the radio,
talks to his friends, and obviously in Los Angeles, so
many people do so many amazing things for careers and stuff.
It's like, yeah, so my dad does. He did a
college essay and one of the essays, a supplemento was
(39:20):
writing about your father and what he does for a living.
First time you read it to me, of course, I'm
bawling and stall. But these are your kids. Remembering like
holding a light for you to walk up on stage
so they don't trip or something. And now it's just
what mom does you know?
Speaker 11 (39:33):
It's so and their dad and.
Speaker 1 (39:38):
Everybody.
Speaker 11 (39:38):
Yeah, it's like kind of what they're used to do.
Speaker 12 (39:41):
But I haven't done it in a long time, so
it's gonna be it's gonna be pretty fun to I mean,
I do shows all the time, but I don't do
like like a show where it's like one after another
kind of thing. And this is six weeks in a row,
and it's going to be pretty epic, I have to say,
because we did Coachella a few years ago, which we
hadn't you know, even spoken before that for a long time.
(40:05):
I'm gonna talk like this, no, and but I don't
know doing that was it felt like I've described it
like this before, but it felt like this big like
tsunami of like a big hug, like everybody was so
loving and like into it, and it just felt like, Wow,
we really did do stuff in our life, you know
what I mean.
Speaker 4 (40:24):
I wish you could have seen the excitement here when
the orange appeared on the sphere, like everybody was freaking
out because we knew what that meant, and we were
so excited.
Speaker 12 (40:34):
For me, it was like, oh, we could go and
do Everybody just want to do shows, and I was like, well,
I feel like it's just going to go from this
to like this if we just go do shows, like
it has to be something different, Yeah, like another thing creatively,
something that's going to get me excited, like because if
I'm not passionate or excited, then it's just another show.
Speaker 11 (40:54):
And it's not.
Speaker 1 (40:54):
It's not at that point.
Speaker 6 (40:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 12 (40:57):
It just doesn't feel I don't want to do stuff
for just that like I want to do it because
I can't. I'll be really lazy if I don't, like
I'm not passionate. So when this came up, I actually
got to do a couple shows. They are just like
kind of more private things, so I kind of got
to see what it was. And technically it's just so
different than it's the future, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 11 (41:17):
And it's like a.
Speaker 12 (41:18):
Film meets a concert meets it's just so different, and
I think it's just gonna be amazing. It's funny because
we were at a party for Blake's he had like
thirty number one radio hits and we were doing celebrating
him at that and the Backstreet Boys actually were there
and they were just getting ready to do the spear
they had They had been working on it because it
(41:38):
takes so long to set up all the content. And
that's what's fun though, you know what I'm saying. It's
like because it's something, it's so different. And they were
talking about it that night. Of course, at that point,
I had no idea that we were ever going to
do this, but and then it came out and I
remember thinking.
Speaker 11 (41:53):
My gosh, they were just talking about that, and it
blew up. I mean it really blew up. And so
I was just so happy for those guys. And then
weed you.
Speaker 1 (42:04):
So with the backs Boys when they did it, they
asked their fans to wear all white. That was like
a requirement for the fans coming to the show. Very
smart are you going to ask fan?
Speaker 3 (42:13):
Now?
Speaker 1 (42:13):
White is not great for me. It's not slimming. So
I don't know, you.
Speaker 12 (42:17):
Should wear like checkerboard, like, yeah, you should total skaw boy,
Come on, little like you could have the like suspenders right,
little buttons?
Speaker 7 (42:27):
Right?
Speaker 1 (42:27):
Do you think do you think I have that in my.
Speaker 11 (42:31):
I think it's easy to find it's classic.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
Yeah, everybody to dress like that? Yes, Okay, why not?
Speaker 11 (42:37):
I mean I got to ask the guys.
Speaker 12 (42:39):
We had a vote on it, but I would think
that they would agree it's an early vote.
Speaker 11 (42:43):
Is that copying Backstreet Boys?
Speaker 1 (42:45):
No? No, it's your thing, you're doing it. Do you
want this to feel like an O. G. No Doubt show?
Or do you feel like it's going to be something
entirely new.
Speaker 12 (42:52):
I think it's going to feel like people are transported
back into that time and they're going to think that
they're like back in the nineties, and that's what I
want it to feel like. I want them to have,
like a nostalgic this is this is the backdrop to
all the things that happened to me when I was
listening to this music at that time. I think that's
what we're trying to create. Now we're in the middle
(43:14):
of creating the show still, right. The guys came over
the other day. We're like, it's really you know, you
have to nail down the setlist before because everything is programmed,
so it's like it's just a different technical Yeah, it's
a lot of like you got to know like how
long the songs are going to be like, what songs
are going to play?
Speaker 5 (43:28):
Like?
Speaker 4 (43:28):
You can't.
Speaker 11 (43:28):
I can't like mess up and be like, oh, let's
start over again like I.
Speaker 1 (43:31):
Always do, like I can from thee.
Speaker 6 (43:36):
Let's do that.
Speaker 4 (43:37):
No request songs.
Speaker 11 (43:38):
But it's going to be really, really awesome.
Speaker 1 (43:41):
It's great to see.
Speaker 11 (43:42):
It's so good to see you guys.
Speaker 12 (43:43):
Thank you for supporting the songs of course playing it
and anybody that's listened to any.
Speaker 11 (43:48):
Of my music. I mean, you have no idea.
Speaker 12 (43:50):
I hope I see you with the spear the guys,
we're going to have so much fun fighting on stage.
Speaker 11 (43:55):
It's going to be awesome.
Speaker 1 (43:56):
Added six shows?
Speaker 7 (43:57):
Is that what it is?
Speaker 12 (43:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (43:58):
If you don't hurry up, it's going to be a
donez deal for sure.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
Is a house getting ready for Christmas? Are you ready
to decorate everything?
Speaker 11 (44:05):
So Halloween down? But yes, but yes, we're gonna do
the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
I love it.
Speaker 7 (44:10):
I love it.
Speaker 11 (44:11):
I can't wait to get it all out.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
Do you do yourself? Yeah, that's fantastic.
Speaker 12 (44:14):
Hell you, I actually have help getting the stuff from
storage and a lot of story myself.
Speaker 11 (44:20):
Is that bad?
Speaker 1 (44:21):
Getting stuff down out of the attic and everything.
Speaker 12 (44:23):
We have gone though I've taken the voice because they
like to go in there and like get it out,
you know. But yeah, I remember when I was a kid,
when we got old enough and my mom would be like, okay,
put it up, and you know what I mean, and
they get.
Speaker 11 (44:35):
Bored after like five minutes.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
Yes, a couple of ornaments and you're over it.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
Yeah, you're done. Help and well, great to see you.
Thanks youself by Merry Christmas.
Speaker 4 (44:42):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (44:44):
One O four three my FM. Here's what's coming up
In entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (44:50):
Irode a Grande said something on a Wicked panel and
now fans think there's going.
Speaker 3 (44:55):

Speaker 3 (44:59):

We've got out over the weekend that Melissa McCarthy is
going to host Saturday Night Live on December sixth, and
now it's been confirmed Ariana Grande is going to host
on December twentieth and back test this Fantastic Share is
going to be the musical guest. Oh my gosh, this
(45:23):
will be the third time Mariana has hosted. This will
be sharing the second time as the musical guest. But
her first time back since nineteen eighty seven. Wow, that'll
be on December twenty.
Speaker 1 (45:37):
No, no, please, this is so good.
Speaker 10 (45:42):
At called deep and said Share is amazing.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
Obviously the voice isn't what it was so many years ago.
It's so good when you hear a song like this,
here comes be powerful moment. Yeah, way sailor. For the
longest time, John thought this with the lyrics, He's like,
why is she wearing a seilated.
Speaker 4 (46:15):
Because that's how Valentine sings it, because she's on.
Speaker 1 (46:17):
That aircraft character video. Yeah, all right, I'm sorry I
had that happen.
Speaker 4 (46:20):
Okay, that's fine. Ariana Grande brought up Share recently during
a Wicked panel with the rest of the cast. They
were doing it with the fans and they talked about
this being their farewell tour because this is the last movie,
and Ariana said, if we've learned anything from Share, we
can count on there always being another farewell tour. She said,
I don't think we're going anywhere. So the moderator was like, wait,
(46:43):
is this a confirmation of Wicked three? And she just
talked about these characters will be a part of our
hearts always and even on the Red carpet. They asked,
but when Yang if there's gonna be a third movie,
and he was like, I think we leave it here.
So they're kind of confirmed that No, this will be
the final Wicked film. There's not going to be a
third I'm jill. There tap a headlines.
Speaker 1 (47:08):
Had they done a Wicked prequel like Little Baby Witches?
Speaker 4 (47:12):
Well, I don't know about the books they might have, Okay,
but I know this is, you know, the prequel to
Wizard of Oz. But I went in, there's a prequel
to the prequel.

Speaker 1 (51:53):
But oh my god, I'd love to be at that

all right, So Meghan is dating her sister's ex and
that sister know about it.
Speaker 2 (52:01):
Sister knows, she get the permission. It's been some time
to okay, you know, the two of them. Yeah, so
that's already kind of a message situation.
Speaker 1 (52:08):
But yeah, but let's say if they get and we'll
save it for your your segment. But if they got
together permanently or something like that, she's gonna have to
bring them around to dinner exactly, And that's her argument problem.
It looks like it's becoming that serious uncomfortable for Megan's sister,
no doubt, And thanks to Gwenna for stopping by today.
That was fun. But we'll find out together age twenty
five with Kmuchi's Court. But right now, it is the

Speaker 1 (55:44):
Good for you? Thank you for that. That was a test, John, No,
people say we're back on. I guess like all the
iHeart stations went down forbid here. Somebody's alleging somebody unplugged
something accidentally during your pair names Who's Oh Dave, Yeah,
Dave did call somebody out, So you know that guy
hit a light switch probably something, or unplugged something. Probably
Dave's one of our superstar engineers.
Speaker 2 (56:05):
Kind of yeah, crazy, a light switch can take us down,
you know.
Speaker 1 (56:08):
I don't think it's a light switch, John, I don't
think so. A California lottery player just came forward after
purchasing a scratcher to get out a liquor store, and
now they are a million dollars richer. The ticket was
a triple red triple seven scratcher purchase earlier this year
at Lee's Liquor and Sixth Street in Westlake. Congrats, million

What's training? Get music?
Speaker 6 (56:48):
So Live?
Speaker 2 (56:49):
Nation did this massive survey and a bunch of different
countries across like forty thousand people, and they were essentially
asking what the most preferred form of entertainment was. They
had movies, they had sports, and nearly four and ten
people chose live music over any other entertainment. It's the
most popular by far. They even included like, for example,
intimacy in that and still people chose live music over
(57:10):
any other form of entertainment. Live music is more secular
than it has ever been right now.
Speaker 1 (57:15):
Yeah, you're a newly wet so you don't get this
spot after like twenty eight years. You might even go
a good sandwich sometimes no sandwich, a good sandwich and
stranger things or something you have no steady data to beck. Yeah,
you might take that.
Speaker 6 (57:29):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (57:29):
The serious say these same things. So that's just yeah,
a little lone time back of chips, especially your favorite artist.
Speaker 2 (57:35):
If Brian was here and it was Beyonce likes taking
that over.
Speaker 1 (57:38):
Intimacy every time. I'm John Kamuci. That's what's treining in music?
Coming up next, Kimuci's cord. It's eight twenty. It's one
of four to three my fam. This is Valence out
in the Morning. One of four three my fam. It
is Valence out in the morning. Is that soccer last night?
(58:01):
Somebody who listens to the show, not like I guess,
not only at a regular basis, they got up early
the other day. Sometimes in that five o'clock hour, weird
stuff can happen. And I talked about one time I
accidentally breastfit a baby, and they said, hey, I heard
you say you accidentally breastfit a baby, And I'm like, okay,
that's a long story of an accident. It was a
(58:23):
little heavier. I was at a pool and I wasn't
wearing a rash guard. I always wear rash guards now.
And as the story goes, somebody had me hold her
baby and the baby tried to latch on, And that's
when I go, you know what, you gotta loosen weight.
You got to babies are trying to latch onto you
in public, even as a guy. That's an issue right there.
That's instinct, you know. Yeah, And then I said, well,
(58:43):
you know, thanks for listening. Appreciate that.
Speaker 4 (58:45):
Let's hope they listened today with Gwen Stefani, we could
redeem herself.
Speaker 1 (58:50):
Would you listen after you heard a story like that? Yeah,
well you were a strange bird. Jill Camuci's corn, let's
go all right. We got Megan on trial with us today.
She says.
Speaker 2 (58:59):
There's the situation. I've been dating my boyfriend Alex for
almost a year. It's still pretty new, but it's very
serious and I'm really happy. But here's where it gets complicated.
Alex used to date my older sister Kate. They were
together for about a year, but that was nearly three
years ago.
Speaker 1 (59:16):
She's in a new long term relationship.
Speaker 2 (59:17):
She's totally moved on, and when we first started dating,
I even asked her for her permission. She ultimately said
it was fine after a quick pause, and said it
didn't bother her. So fast forward to now, Thanksgiving is
around the corner. Our parents have invited our significant others
to dinner, especially since my boyfriend Alex doesn't have his
family in town. So when I talked it over with
our brother, he said that was an awful move. Now
(59:38):
I reminded him, Kate gave me permission, she gave me
the blessing to date him, but he said, she didn't
give you permission to eat mashed potatoes next to him
at Thanksgiving dinner. So now I'm kind of second guessing.
Am I a jerk for wanting my boyfriend to come
to Thanksgiving dinner if it technically is my sister's ex?
Speaker 1 (59:54):
Did they?
Speaker 3 (59:56):
So?
Speaker 1 (59:56):
I don't know if you have this or not. Why
the sister, the first sister and this guy? Do they
have carnal knowledge of each other? What do you mean?
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
Okay, I think I know I can put that together.
I mean they dated a year, I would assume.
Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
So, yeah, that's weird. I guess. But if this person's
gonna be in the life of this family, if he's
gonna be the husband or something, they're going down a
long term road. You've got to rip that bandoid up
at some point. And it's only a matter of time.
And if you go in and you kind of make
a joke about it, I think, and you go, all right,
we're doing the seating chart, not gonna sit you tube together.
Speaker 12 (01:00:31):
Ha ha ha.
Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
If you try and do something fun with it instead
of like hiding from the awkwardness of this, and you
don't address the awkwardness in the room, I think that
makes it worse. They's better to address they elephant in
the room, so to see.
Speaker 4 (01:00:43):
Yeah, I totally agree. I do think it's very weird
that you are dating your sister's ex. I like I
could ever, Yeah, it's a whole other thing. But the
fact that you're happy your sister is happy now, I
think you just you gotta do it because you're gonna
be in each other's lives. I don't think she's a
for bringing him.
Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
Are you weirder as a guy for dating both sisters? Like,
were you going through one sister to get to the
other sister? Do you just like the type by how
they look together or something.
Speaker 4 (01:01:10):
It's weird manners?
Speaker 1 (01:01:12):
pH you know, do you really like the mom and
dad and wanted to be part of the family so
bad you said I'll date the sister if this one's
not available anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:01:19):
Oh, I just I don't know how that happened.
Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
I have so many questions. It was a breakup? Bad?
Was a breakup? Okay? Did you ever look at the
sister in a different way? What's the age difference between
the two sisters? The breakup must have been okay. How
do you consider the brother if something goes wrong?
Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
Yeah, the sister said it was okay. She gave them
her blessing.
Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
I personally think a little bit of a jerk, though,
because I don't know if it's been enough time.
Speaker 1 (01:01:40):
You haven't even dated a.
Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
Year yet, Like, it's not that serious yet, you know
what I mean?
Speaker 1 (01:01:44):
Like would you would you bring Olivia home to a
Thanksgiving dinner if you hadn't dated her at least a year?
Speaker 4 (01:01:53):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:01:53):
But there's but there are added there added situation like
as if she had dated did a sibling of mine,
if I had a brother or whatever, then that complicates it,
you know, what I mean, then there's a there's another
player there.
Speaker 1 (01:02:05):
Yeah. I don't know if the year watermark is something
i'd worry about. I was engaged to my wife after
three months. Yeah, you know, but these people aren't engaged.
Speaker 4 (01:02:12):
But especially him not having any family.
Speaker 1 (01:02:14):
You know that well's discussing the side of a street. John,
it's like alms for the pole for the pole.
Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
Parents inviting them.
Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
Parents are inviting significant others. You know, he's significant in
her life.
Speaker 4 (01:02:27):
I feel like a year like that's that's a good
amount of time to bring him around the family.
Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Even day for close to your I suggest you bring
somebody around in normal circumstances. Yes, but if they dated
your sister and that was kind of serious, you.
Speaker 1 (01:02:38):
Got past that whole thing a dating the sister because
the sister's okay with it. I think it's weird, but
you address the awkwardness in the room, and if that's
how it could be for the rest of time, what
are you supposed to do? Wait until they're married, wait
until they're officially engaged or something.
Speaker 2 (01:02:52):
I guess it's I don't know, it's weird to me.
I guess I can't get past that.
Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
What do you guys think three one o four three
three one oh four three, all right, it's one of
four to three mi Fabit's Valentine in the morning. Our
boss Paul Corvino is listening to the show this morning
and heard some of the stuff that was said, which
(01:03:16):
wasn't bad. It's not bad. It's just our show and
sometimes you land on just a random break and boy,
of all the random moments, he decided to tune into
the show today. Of course, could you have tuned in
during the dead air, Paul, when the transmitter was out?
Maybe you know? Weather today, cloudy, cool, chance of showers
throughout the day, temps fifties, lit sixties. We get a
(01:03:36):
break in the rain tomorrow that it's back on Thursday
fifteen Ninehe'm forty six, Milia Park. Jill's got the entertainment
headlines coming up.
Speaker 4 (01:03:42):
The Cambridge Dictionary just crowned its word of the year
and it has to do with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey.
I'll tell you what it is coming up at eight
fifty eight.
Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
Elizabeth, Good morning, How are you today?
Speaker 9 (01:03:53):
Good morning, I'm good.
Speaker 3 (01:03:54):
How's everyone doing.
Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
We're doing pretty good. They're working on the transmitter. Our
guests our station, several other iHeartRadio stations. Somebody I don't
know messed with the wire and all of a suden,
we're off the air for a little bit.
Speaker 9 (01:04:06):
Oh, I mean I was able to hear you guys.
Find nobody cussed you. We're good.
Speaker 1 (01:04:10):
No, no, we weren't worried about cussing. We're worried about that.
But if you listen to the iHeart Radio App, I
don't think it's ever any dead air in that respect.
This was a transmitter issue or something. So listen to
the iHeartRadio app. Then make us the number one preset
if you can. On the free iHeartRadio App. We listened
to one of four to three MIFM a little button
to make us the number one pre set. Now, Kimuchi's Court,
(01:04:32):
where do you stand and inviting the X of your
sister to Thanksgiving dinner?
Speaker 9 (01:04:39):
I think that she's not a jerk. I mean, she
got the sister's blessing. It's gonna happen eventually. I'm with Jill.
It's weird. I have a sister.
Speaker 11 (01:04:48):
It's weird.
Speaker 9 (01:04:48):
I can ever think about, you know, dating my sister's
former anything, even if it was just a date or two,
but had two each their own. I am not judging whatever.
Going back, I think that maybe she should get the
sister the heads up and say, hey, you know, I
know you gave me your blessing. Mom and Dad said that,
you know, our significant others could come. I want to
(01:05:09):
bring whatever his guy is and kind of give you know,
give her the headset so that when she's not surprised
at dinner and then kind of make it, kind of
tell the whole family the hey, we're cool, like, don't
make don't make this a big deal. Brother.
Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
Yeah, it's the brother that's making the big deal, right John.
Speaker 2 (01:05:26):
Yeah, But I do like the idea of a refreshed blessing,
you know, like you're renewing that subscribe refreshed blessing.
Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
Right, that's nice. Could I get your blessing just to
one more time? Please? And yeah? Let her know obviously.
And then I think too, and tell me you think
about this, Lilizabeth, I say, you'd kind of make it
funny when it happens, you know, so you can kind
of take the awkwardness out of it. Maybe.
Speaker 9 (01:05:46):
Yeah, Yeah, I mean I think you know, if you
if you go in you know, with the elephant in
the room. Then it's gonna make dinner awkward. You got
to talk, they said, if you address it first, you know. Yeah,
and everyone should be kind of cool with it and
just kind of act normal. Yeah, play along whatever I mean,
don't make it super weird. Be like, hey, I made
up with your sister before, you know, but.
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
You know what's wild the two and you kind of
hit on this. And you and Jill are different than
this lady in disrespect because you wouldn't do this. But
I'm so curious to the fact, like, when did you
find yourself being attracted to this guy? Was it after
you or the sister and him broke up or something
like that. Did you find him attracted before that? Wizard?
What's the timeline to all that?
Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
You know, a lose lose, because even if you weren't
attracted while they were dating, while he was dating your sister,
then there was a period of time you weren't attracted
to him, and.
Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
That's kind of an interesting yeah, but that might have
been a time when they grew in attraction because of personality,
hopefully not just based on looks or something nice, or
maybe the guy got some work done after he broke
up with a sister.
Speaker 4 (01:06:47):
He had a glow up.
Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
Yeah, exactly right, Lizabeth, thanks for calling in. I have
a great day, okay, of course, thank you have a
great week you too. Take care. Eight forty one in
is Valentine in the Morning. This is one of four
three lifeep Alex Warren, one of four to three my family.
(01:07:08):
It is Valentine in the Morning. Lisa Fox coming in
ten o'clock today, broadcasting live from a Disney Cruse ship.
Do we know what's wanted? Is brand new ship? And
she said, to the Bahamas with her boyfriend Eric and stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:07:19):
Yes, God, it's brand news.
Speaker 1 (01:07:22):
She gets to do that all the time. Now, listen,
this is not the spot where we complain about coworkers
getting fun stuff, because we have a good job. We
love being here with you. But do you have a
coworker at work that always seems to get the stuff
from the boss, always seems to win out, whatever it is,
any little extra goodies or any extra little time off
or something like that at our place. It's Lisa Fox.
(01:07:44):
It's not even a raff raff. The guy who was
he was active duty recently. He serves our country at
home and abroad. The guy is he's a sergeant in
the National Guard on the afternoons and he's always doing
extra stuff for the Guard. Didn't send him, No, no, no,
that man could probably man the ship if something went down.
Speaker 12 (01:08:04):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:08:05):
Everybody feel really safe.
Speaker 1 (01:08:06):
Yes, and there's not an ounce of jealousy. This is
just a pointing something out. And I'm sure we have
something similar work, or maybe the person that is the
teacher's pet at work and you get all the goodies
and stuff. We do have a bit of a teacher's
pet in the room.
Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
Yeah, I'm not on a cruise.
Speaker 1 (01:08:21):
No, it's no. But if like you were doing a
solo show, you'd probably be on the cruise.
Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
Well, we can cross that bridge when we get the Okay,
where you're going?
Speaker 3 (01:08:31):
Four three FM. Here's what's coming up in entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (01:08:36):
The host has been chosen for the Critics Choice Awards
and it is her fourth time hosting I'll tell you
who she is, right, actor Chaplin.
Speaker 3 (01:08:44):
One O four to three my SM entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (01:08:48):
The Cambridge Dictionary just chose its word of the year
and the word is parasocial. It's a fancy word to
describe how we can feel connected and maybe even a
little too connected to celebrity that we don't actually know.
And according to Cambridge, nobody inspires that emotional investment quite
like Taylor Swift, especially when Taylor got engaged to Travis
(01:09:10):
Kelce and all of us felt like our sister was
getting engaged. And it's going to be Awards season soon.
And it was just announced Chelsea Handler is going to
return to host the Critics Choice Awards for the fourth
consecutive year. The ceremony will air January fourth on E
and USA. But when it was announced that she's hosting again,
Chelsea Handler said, nothing says new beginnings like a room
(01:09:31):
full of critics ready to tell you how you did
last year. I'm Jill for the Entertainment headline.
Speaker 1 (01:09:35):
Eight fifty one. It is Valentine in the morning. This
is one of four to three MYFM. If you listen
to us in the free iHeart ready app make us
a number one precent. We always talk about doing that
in the car, and if you do it in a car,
take a picture, send it to me hop into my
DMS at Gopher Valentine. I randomly give out prizes for that.
And if you take a screen grab when you make
us the number one preset on the iHeartRadio app. Do
the same thing. Slide into my DMS at gop Valentine.
(01:09:59):
I've got a bunch of not passes that I'm giving
out that way, so follow at Gopher Valentine, slide in
with that screenshop by, making us the number one pre
set on the app and in the car, and I
may be taking care of you.
Speaker 6 (01:10:11):
No fighting we on the.
Speaker 1 (01:10:16):
No fighting, my fami. It is Valentine. In the morning,
Jordan who works on her show. She's answering phone calls
near the room. She just walks in. I'm about to
open the microphone right now, and she looks over at Adam.
She goes, hey, Adam, who has been filling in for Brian.
(01:10:36):
She goes, hey, Adam, did you rs VP to the
Coast party?
Speaker 7 (01:10:39):
Yet?
Speaker 1 (01:10:40):
They're passing out tickets like we're doing, my fan and
she walks in and going, yeah, they're passing out tickets
for their Disney party down the hall. Did you r VP?
You get rs VP because I thought I had till Monday. No,
they're passing out tickets right now. You gotta do it.
Speaker 4 (01:10:54):
Not the time, Jordan.
Speaker 1 (01:10:55):
What station are you working at right now? Hey, Jill,
have you rs VP for the Notts Mary Farm party? Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:11:04):
Yes, I have you?
Speaker 1 (01:11:06):
Thought was talking about the other one too?
Speaker 6 (01:11:07):
Yes, how well I.
Speaker 4 (01:11:13):
Know?
Speaker 6 (01:11:15):
Okayrie you.
Speaker 1 (01:11:18):
Tonight one of four to three my famites Valentin in
the morning, shout out to any kids playing soccer last night,
playing any sports net rain last night. We had our
first scrimmage of the season versus Sierra Canyon last night
and my son's team did well, the varsity team. They
won one to nothing. So I don't know, it's good,
kind of like quasi excited for the ear I think
they look pretty good. Nice, got a lot of good seniors,
(01:11:39):
a lot of good players, some young guys too, so
feel good about it.
Speaker 4 (01:11:42):
And Colin senior years. Every game is going to be special.
Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
Yeah, it really will be. Now something special happened earlier
in the show. Gwen Stefani stop i and uh we
all loved Gwen Stefani. We all love step best. Just
I want you to listen to the raw, real emotion
of Gillian Eleniscot along my coast. She's just so excited
about Gwen. Listen to her lean into the microphone. This
(01:12:04):
is the very close of the interview. This is the
last three seconds of the interview that airs here in
MAA FM. Take a listen. Well, great to see you.
Thanks you so by Merry Christmas. We love you just
like she almost like gets really close to my just
we love you, we love you.
Speaker 4 (01:12:20):
Well it's hard to tell, but she started off by
saying that she loves.
Speaker 7 (01:12:25):
You, love you.
Speaker 4 (01:12:27):
She said love you guys, and I wanted to reciprocate
the last.
Speaker 1 (01:12:29):
I didn't never hearry Christmas. You just really loud, just
almost distorting. Instead, this is right in there.
Speaker 6 (01:12:36):
I think what it was.
Speaker 4 (01:12:37):
I was like standing up to Hugger before she left.
I wanted to be like the first one to Hugger.
So as I'm standing up, my mouth got closer to
the mic. We love you, we love you, we love you,
we love you because we do. We love Gwen Stefani.
Speaker 1 (01:12:51):
I love my wife. Now I gotta explain that Gwen
Stefani that I'm not trying to have some type of
a listen to fair with her or something like that.
I don't know, you got us all lumped in together.
She won't to do my full body makeup, she had
said earlier. It's a whole thing. Now, yeah, you're a
big fan.
Speaker 4 (01:13:05):
Of her, Zoe, I totally am. I remember getting Tragic
Kingdom the CD No Doubts album and just thinking she
was the coolest and I wanted to sing like her,
and I wanted to dress like her. So being able
to talk to her and ever sit right here next
to me is just It's so cool.
Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
Have you ever desired to be like a reporter for
like a twenty twenty or something, or like one of
these news anchors on TV or anything like that.
Speaker 4 (01:13:26):
Yes, I would love that.
Speaker 1 (01:13:28):
I don't think you can end interviews with this we
love you. I don't know if that would work my
signature sign, that's your sign like anybody. Sorry, no, you
committed the crime, but we love you.
Speaker 11 (01:13:38):
From Sedan's and SUV's to full size trucks, experience the
incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrified.
Speaker 3 (01:13:46):
Three things you need.
Speaker 1 (01:13:47):
To know right now, all right, So, starting next month,
PepsiCo's launching a new line called Simply Naked versions of
Cheetos and Doritos. The options have no artificial flavors or dies,
meaning that iconic bright orange color you know will be
telling out a bit. The move follows a major push
from Health and Human Services to eliminate synthetic food dies
great idea. You'll still be able to purchase a classic
(01:14:07):
original chips with a bunch of fake stuff in it.
And PepsiCo promises the flavor even for classics like flaming
Hot and nacho cheese, will say exactly the same with
the naked versions. So the naked version just will be
inherently healthier. But if the color of the dust on
your fingers matters that much, purchasing one with the fake
dies and all that stuff. The man who jumped the
(01:14:28):
barricade and rushed at Ariana Grande, the Singapore Wicketed for
Good premiere, has been sentence a jail. And I always
heard like in Singapore, if you commit a crime or
something like that, watch out, watch out, they'll get you.
Yesterday he pled guilty to one charge of causing annoyance
to the public, only got nine days in jail. But
as soon as he got the jail, he got rushed
(01:14:49):
and he rushed his cell and Judd said his act
was premeditated, showed a pattern and behavior. He's wrong. You
think his actions wouldn't have any consequences. He's a guy
that does it like in a bunch of different things.
Speaker 4 (01:14:58):
So, yes, Katie, Harry, you've done this bunch.
Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
Yeah, you know, maybe something a little harsher for something
like that.
Speaker 4 (01:15:05):
It's videos of him before you know, and he's showing
the red carpet.
Speaker 1 (01:15:09):
And he should be like from concerts. You know, you
shouldn't able to do anymore. Yeah, but if you're just
standing outside, like in a crowd, it's tough to keep
him from that. Okay, thank you, John. What's training music? John?
Speaker 4 (01:15:20):
So?
Speaker 2 (01:15:20):
Kevin Jonas has a new song coming out this week.
It's a song called Changing, and it's his first solo song.
They were playing it a little bit and the Jonas
Brothers were on tour and now he's going to come
out with it this Thursday. So as soon as it drops,
we'll have it for you so you can hear what
it sounds like here on my FM. I'm John Camunci.
That's what's trending in music?
Speaker 1 (01:15:40):
Like list Fox coming up next. She's on a cruise ship.
She's on the Disney Destination.
Speaker 4 (01:15:47):
I think it's called the Disney Destiny. Okay, so the
newest ship.
Speaker 1 (01:15:52):
And she got to go on at with the boy
from Eric. Are they not engaged yet? What's the deal there.
Speaker 4 (01:15:56):
No, they're not on the ship.
Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
Maybe maybe, And if she says no, he goes shop.
Speaker 4 (01:16:02):
Very jealous of her. Right now, she's sending me photos
this morning.
Speaker 1 (01:16:05):
Tell her to stop. She's making you get a bunch
of fomo. She's on a Disney cruise line with her boyfriend.
Speaker 4 (01:16:10):
And Captain Hook and Smee. She sent me a photo.
Speaker 1 (01:16:12):
She sent you pictures? Ye, did we know about you
and Smee. Jill has a thing. This came out on
the air. I don't know when. It was, like a
few years ago or something like that. Well, maybe not
because she's only married. How long you've been married a
little over a year? Well over year? Okay, So Jill
has a thing where their husband they do this. I
think it's called cosplay, John, is it, yeah, well play
cosplay something as far as I know, Yes, she tries
to know, right, And she dresses up as Smee and
(01:16:36):
he dresses up as Captain Hook and they sailed, They
sail the high seas and they look for treasure. That's
what they do. They look for treasure, John, you know, yeah, yeah, And.
Speaker 2 (01:16:47):
We just heard from your fiance at the time, who's
now your husband, and he was the one that outed you,
so that's the only Yeah, he confirm.
Speaker 1 (01:16:54):
That they do play this little dress up game and
stuff like that. I don't know if you're min he's.
Speaker 4 (01:16:59):
There, he said, you never know, Like he was just
like making a joke we've never done. He sent us
pictures you want to say, dressed up as sexy sweet.
Speaker 1 (01:17:09):
Never well, in one person's eyes, maybe it wasn't sexy,
but in his eyes, it's sexy to me, you know,
I never forget. We saw you at Disneyland.
Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
A couple of weeks after that event happened, and one
of my best friends, his name is Joe. He showed
up in a shirt that looks just like Smith's show. Yeah,
and he looks at me and he goes, do you
think Jill's gonna be okay if I'm wearing this?
Speaker 1 (01:17:26):
Like, is she gonna come on to me?
Speaker 4 (01:17:29):
Like?
Speaker 1 (01:17:29):
I don't know, Well, probably because she's the one that
dresses up a smeeth, so that would be like myself.
He was dressed as Captain Hook. That might have been
something else. Uh, I don't know if Lisa and Eric
are dressed up like that on the Disney cruise, I
have no idea.
Speaker 3 (01:17:42):
The truth is we did one of the four three
entertainment headlines.
Speaker 1 (01:17:47):
The truth is irrelevant at this point.
Speaker 6 (01:17:50):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (01:17:50):
People are voting over at ranker dot com on the
best late night posts of all time, and here's the
top five as of this morning. Number five, John Stewart,
Craig Ferguson coming in at number four, David Letterman coming
in at number three for the best late night host
of all time, Number two Conan O'Brien, and then number
(01:18:10):
one Johnny Carson and I refuse to say the real
name of the show and the movie on the air,
but jack Butt starred. Johnny Knoxville announced on Instagram that
he married his longtime girlfriend Emily over the weekend, and
John Waters officiated the ceremony. I'm Jill with ery timid headlines.
Speaker 1 (01:18:30):
Do you realize jack Butt sounds worse? I don't think
so the Jackass? Do you think that sounds better jack Butt?
Speaker 6 (01:18:36):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (01:18:37):
Okay, ye think it's me. Lis is coming off broadcast
live from that Disney Cruise ship. Thanks for your show, Jill, John,
thank you for your show. Like a plume in New
York City, think of your show. Adam in the room,
thank you ever your show. Laura in the couch. Thank
you for your show. Have it absolutely fantastic, fantastic Tuesday.
Speaker 4 (01:18:55):
No rain today, right, No, it doesn't look like it,
but there is a small chance still throughout the day
jury percent.
Speaker 1 (01:19:03):
All right, more rain coming in though, I guess the
next day maybe, and Thursday, Thursdays and rain two. Okay,
have a great table to see you guys tomorrow morning.
Right here. One of four three MYFM Valentine in
Speaker 3 (01:19:13):
