Justin? I wanted to address something with you, okay, not
that you did anything wrong, but I wanted to talk
about it on the podcast because I'm sure I don't
know if you've been getting the messages since yesterday, I've
gotten probably seven or eight of people angry asking questions
about the commercials on the podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
I didn't get any. So I talked to Tony because
he actually DM me, I mean not he texted me.
Tony's our digital guy for those that do not know,
and what they do is they auto so corporate or
the podcast you know, our podcast system that we use
automated to a certain amount of commercials. So what happened was

to have a certain quota of commercials, so then you,
like me or Riley, we just have to add in
one more commercial. But what they did on their end
is that they now have put way more commercials in,
so I stopped adding the extra commercial. So all those
commercials are generated not by us, they're generated by an
auto generation like advertiser from our podcast system.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Here's a message from Derek Derek says, these ads are
ruining the podcast. Not here to complain, just want to
vocalize it rather than just stop listening quietly. For years,
the podcast was virtually commercial free. Now it starts with
two to three AD rolls, then fifteen minutes in it
plays eight plus AD roles and another two to three rolls,
one or two more times in a forty five minute podcast.

That's ridiculous. I wouldn't listen either, he said. You know,
he listens in the shower. He can't fast forward. He
goes on and on and on. I mean, I guess,
really that's really bad.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
You know why they do that though?

Why because we are very high traffic podcasts.

Well, we're not gonna be if they don't take the
commercials away.

got the message from Tony and this is a text
exchange this morning because I was confused. I'm like, what
are you talking about? He said, let's try cutting podcast
minerals to one per per episode. I don't know what
you're talking about. I only ever do one. I go,
there's the auto ones and that's it. And he was like,
just leave the auto then corporate is adding a ton

more ads.

Now it's really bad. It's really we gonna do.

I mean you can't. Okay, you can skip over them,
you know that, right, the little so that little you know,
jump thingy that says like jump thirty seconds. You can
hit that whenever when they're playing.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
You can jump over Derek. He's in the shower.

So if you are, if you are at home, yeah,
and you're or you're in your car or whatever, you
can just hit that little thirty second jump thing and
it will skip over the ad.

Well, shoul ask Billy what he thinks? Why am I
always the last consideration. I'm here and I've got forty
eight commercials to do, and it doesn't matter anything else
besides me. Yeah, I know, we're in the middle of
the countdown, Billy, but the receptionists here to do a
mock commercial for a client that doesn't even exist.

So you can look out for that. But tomorrow on
the show, we'll have Donald, the photographer that's going to

be leading Billy and Michelle in Africa. This thing is
getting heating up. You know, Billy's getting more and more nervous,
so it'd be good to have him on to kind
of break down what it's really going to be like
because we're just putting the fear of God into him.

Thursday, Christine Hurley is coming in. We love Christine, so

forward through them, But I understand the situations. Maybe you don't,
you listen from Afar. You know your phone is so whatever,
