(00:00):
There. It is welcome back, man, So you are you were back
after tending to snotty noses and moresnotty noses. I some logistics issues,
We'll put it this way. OnMonday evening, I lost my wallet.

(00:23):
I have only once in my lifelost a wallet before. However, that
was before I was. That waswhen I was a young single man in
my twenties and I didn't have alife's worth of important stuff in a wallet.
But that really threw my So I'malready in a very sour mood.

(00:47):
And then you get to deal withthat, and then it just where do
you even start with that? Iknow where I lost the wallet at,
though, I mean, like, you got to cancel and tell me,
dude, I was, I was, I had. I was on the
phone quite a bit yesterday and thenI get a call from a Dublin police

(01:10):
officer who says, uh blah blahblah, somebody found your ID. And
I go, oh, my wallet? You found my wallet? He goes,
no, sir, it's just yourID. So so your driver's license.
It's my driver's license, which thatis, you know, less good
And the good thing is though forwhatever reason I remember, because I I

(01:38):
didn't have my debit card in therebecause I had it out for when I've
got lunch Monday, and I hadjust put it back in my pocket.
So I never lost the ability tospend money or to purchase things that we
need. So I went down lastnight and went to the Dublin Police Department
and I picked that up. Andso fortunately, though everything else that was

(02:00):
in my wallet, some pictures i'llnever get back, some passwords and some
codes to some things, and aboutthree hundred dollars worth of gift cards to
various places. So it is whatit is. But thanks again to the
Dublin Police Department for making sure Igot reunited with my idea. More importantly,

(02:21):
if you are the good Samaritan whofound my ID, thank you for
flagging down that Dublin officer and turningmy ID into them. That is cool
that you getting another driver's license.I've never been through it, but I
don't think that's really that fun either. No, and one thing, though
I am smart, I never everever my mom told me this, and

(02:45):
thank god she did. Never keepyour sole security card in your wallet.
You are a moron if you dothat, because now you're out a solid
security card and an ID. Well, how the hell are you supposed to
get a new ID without being ableto various show you're social security? That
is a I'm just like, I'mbreathing a huge sigh of relief. In
a lot of ways. Frustrating, yes, but it must be done,

(03:08):
must be done. You're hamstrung withoutan ID, without a driver's license,
that's first and foremost. I couldjust claim to be an illegal immigrant,
right, Well, I think youcould. And then you could also get
free flights and free debit cards too. Yeah, so there's that you could
have done that. I should havegone that route. Yeah, maybe,

(03:28):
dad, Gummet, I think thisis a better gonna end up a better
ending. And then as far ascredit cards go, certainly hopefully you were
able to shut those down before. You're not going to be responsible anyway for
that, like if they charge something, right, and luckily they hadn't charged
because the one card I have hasa thirty thousand dollars limit credit limit on

(03:49):
it, and you know it wasonly at the balance. I thought about
round the balance I thought it shouldbe, So I'm not they didn't like
go out and buy ten thousand dollarsworth of you know technical equipment, you
know, from somewhere. I thinkyou would have been contacted had a large
purchase that was out of the ordinarywould have popped up, they probably would

(04:09):
have contacted Bank of America would havesent me, I think text alert.
Yep, yeah, I know,Chase does the same thing. I've had
stuff where you know, it doesn'tlook like a normal spending habit. So
they happened to go, hey,is that you? And I'm like,
yeah, I almost got my accountlocked once when we were on vacation because
we were out of state and Imade a fairly large purchase I bought.

(04:29):
I picked up like an extra hotelroom for night. So you got like
a three hundred and some dollars purchase, you know in where where were we?
And I forget where we were? But yeah, yeah, well good,
Uh it sounds like you're at leaston the road to get in that
figure out. And I liked youlike my fancy new wallet. Now look

(04:51):
at that? Isn't that fancy?Look at it? I use a clip.
I don't even use a wallet.You got a rubber band around it.
That's what I to glorified. It'smine's a glorified clip or that what
you have. I mean, Ihaven't had an actual wall. It's funny
you say this. Yesterday, Chuck'stelling me he has to get another wallet,

(05:11):
and he goes, dude, itis so hard to find, like
and you have, like the traditionaltrifled Yeah, like the billfold trifold.
Yeah, and he was talking abouthow hard it is to find those anymore
because he was trying to buy anew one. As luck would have it,
you know, it is hard tofind them. Yeah, I haven't
had one of those, and Idon't think I've ever had one of those,
like a regular traditional wallet. I'mgonna get one of those. I'm

(05:39):
debating about geting one of those phonecases that's also a wallet. Yeah,
man, my father in law swearsby that. Yep, he's got one.
But then if you lose your phone, you'll lose your wallet. Well
yeah, but you could also,of course, they could separate him,
but if they were both still together, you could do that. Well,
you can't because you're not on youcan't do find my They have that version

(06:00):
for what you have, right,The Android has the version of fun side
they do where you could kind oflocate it. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah, man. Last night, the Jackets get one last win at
Nationwide Arena on home ice to sendJeff Rimmer into retirement. And I was
really happy to see it. Whata what an awesome broadcast, What an

(06:24):
awesome job Bally Sports did with this. Jody had I thought one of the
sweetest like speeches or you know, things to say to Jeff right on air.
It was amazing watching all of that. Rims got to talk to the
players ahead of the game, sohe was in the locker room kind of

(06:46):
giving a speech and so on,and they, you know, there was
a clap out when he walked outof the that media area upstairs, and
and Rimmer is Jeff Rimmer is theplay by play for TV in case you're
you know, halfway familiar with theJackets. But just really really cool the
way the whole night went, andall in all on a of course,

(07:06):
ending on a winning note. Greatfor the Jackets. A terrible season as
far as the record goes, andso on, all the injuries. Good
lord, it's just been nuts forthe Columbus Blue Jackets this year. But
I'm going to continue to support him. I can't speak for everybody, but
happy retirement, Rims. And neverreally got to I don't get I don't

(07:27):
really know Jeff, but clearly seeinghim all the time when I would be
running around there hanging out with mcgeleigate, who is the radio voice for the
Jackets up there. They actually sharea wall in the broadcast area up there
at the top of Nationwide Arena.I've been up there several times. But
I'm really really cool to see that. And retirement well deserved Jeff Rimmer and

(07:49):
a he is a pros pro towatch this guy call the games and so
on, and you think about, night after night how tough it could be
for these guys with regard to theJackets and the up and down season that
they had. But the enthusiasm neverleft his voice for you know, when
the Jackets are scoring and and soon, even if they were down or

(08:13):
or whatever. So congratulations Jeff, and enjoy that. Enjoy that retirement.
Pretty cool. You didn't happen tocatch any of that last night, did
right? No, there was justreally it was like, yeah, yeah,
yeah, you got a bunch ofstuff going on. And then I
started watching the Reds and you know, they they're on a losing streak.

(08:33):
Now they're in the I think they'rewhere are they at Seattle? I think?
Or yeah, they swept the WhiteSox and now they've lost the first
two of the Seattle series. Dude, they're gonna be I told you they're
gonna hover around five hundred all year. They're never gonna crack. They're gonna
give you a little They're gonna giveyou short little bursts, like five game
bursts, and then they're gonna thenthey're gonna drop like three or four in

(08:54):
a row, and then you're gonnabasically, we're not gonna make any ground.
And Ellie's inside the park home runwas unreal to watch that happen.
He is a machine and it's justthis, if he can just get a
little more consistent, I'd rather havejust a consistent Ellie than the dynamic.
And then he does stuff like, you know, try to flip the ball
at a second when he's feeling itand he's I don't know, he tries

(09:16):
to get too fancy and so on. It's just like, be more consistent
is all I'm after there. Idisagree with what you're saying. I think
they're going to do better than thatthis year. It's just right now,
it's just irritating to see. Peopleare going, look, Hunter Green is
a long reliever at best, youknow, saying that about him right now,
I don't know exactly how to Idon't know what to say to that.

(09:39):
This guy came in highly touted andso on and so forth, but
I don't know his reality really settingin for him. He's he's certainly not
an ace. Well, the goodnews is the Pirates have come back to
reality. The Brewers aren't running awaywith anything. So the Reds are only
a game and a half out,and of course we're only halfway through April.

(10:00):
That whole division is crammed. Imean, even the Cardinals who are
technically in last place in the divisionor two back. And how about the
Cleveland Indians, the best team inbaseball right now? Are they really the
Indians have the best record in baseball? Well, good for them? Good
for them? Yeah, good forthem. So what do you make of

(10:20):
this Franklin County judge temporarily blocking Ohioban on transition surgeries for miners. And
it's a two week ban, butthey're predicting that it's going to end up
probably going longer. It'll probably they'llprobably get another injunction. I'm not surprised.
I saw this coming a mile away, because we know the Left is

(10:43):
hell bent on mutiladiing our children inthis country for whatever reason, in the
name of trying to convince you thatit's it's actually just gender firming care.
So I saw this coming. Howcan a party that has disdain for the
born care so much about the youngand how they're just concerned for young people.

(11:05):
It's just like, well, you'renot concerned for babies, Well,
what does it matter? Because yougotta you gotta, you're gonna be able
to get in there and psychologically manipulateand brainwash these kids at an early age,
so you you know, you canget perverse with them. That's what
you gotta do. That's that's allthis is. I and to the parents

(11:26):
that are screaming and jumping up anddown and saying, my child, my
child was you know we you knowthey're this could kill my child for not
getting their care. We may haveto move to a different state. Like
I blame the parents most a lotof times, but before I blame the
kids, because a lot of theseparents and like, oh, I get
to look at the attention I'm goingto get. I have a trans child.

(11:50):
Oh, I am special, Likeit's feeding some sort of attention by
some kind of form of attention.Munk Calsen, it's flavor of the week.
Yeah, if you will, itis this, this whole thing going
on but unfortunately lasting longer than aweek. But I just I can't wait
for the day for all of thistoo, the fad, if you will,

(12:13):
to just relax and just go backto normal. You know the number
of it, like gen Z nowsays over over one third at gen Z
identifies as LGBTQ or other or nonbinary. Like, that is a mental
illness fad. That is not normalnormal, That is not reality. That

(12:33):
that is not the If that werethe case, human beings would not have
propagated the planet to the point there'seight billion of us. I like the
state representative Gary Klick co sponsored thisbill. He's a good dude. I've
talked to Gary before he goes. You know, we have lower court disappointments,
but higher court victories. He believesif this case makes its way to

(12:54):
the Ohio Supreme Court, it'll eventuallypass. He said, there's you know,
there's no constitutional right to children,no constitutional right to chemical lee cast
eight children there's no constitutional right, this is malpractice, and we're gonna win
in the end. So I dolike that. Ultimately, I feel like
this will stand, but right nowthere's some oppositions. That's where my mindset

(13:18):
is too that I think in thelong term, common sense morals, decency,
and rationality will win out. Butthey're going to fight the good fight
in the name of and they justwant to protect children when they're not busy
killing them in your womb.
