hotel was literally in walking distance ofa Frish's Big Boy. Oh boy,
and well that was I had.I had. I'm not gonna lie.
I may have gained a couple poundson vacation because I ate two big boys
that night. Well, I Iguess I should have been more specific.
I meant the one over on HamiltonRoad. No, I have not made

is the greatest breakfast buffet of alltime in the history. Yes, and

(01:08):
his it's a big d buffet.There's three f's. It's so good.
B U F F F T TT two T third one Stanford good.

(01:53):
card. Hey man, pick meup a bag on your way out?
Like, what are you talking like? I love it right? Uh m?
When is joining us right now?ABC News out of Washington. And
this is a very interesting thing thathas developed. And I'm not sure this
seems to be m one of thosethings that is developing at the speed of
light. There are some predicting bythis weekend he could be announcing that he's

(02:17):
stepping down and we're talking about PresidentJoe Biden. But what is the latest
on this? What was all thewhat are you what all are you hearing?
Right, So, despite the numerouspublic events in very decent national interviews,
President Biden's candidacy is looking much harderto salvage. Sources telling ABC News

(02:38):
the President's support from his own partyleaders is crumbling, and there was a
recent import in The Washington Post whichessentially says that former President Obama has told
allies in recent days that President Biden'spath to victory has greatly diminished and that
he thinks the president needs to seriouslyconsider the viability of his candidacy. Remember,

(02:59):
Obama is someone who has always beenby Biden's side. He's always been,
you know, as founding board. He's been somebody who has emphasized his
concern to protect Biden, to protecthis legacy. And even after all of
the calls for him to step aside, Obama was still out there with ads
and fundraising emails asking the people tosupport the president. But at this point,

(03:22):
that's a big blow to President Biden'spush to try to stay in this
race. You know, we ofcourse have seen Obama just publicly supporting Biden's
endeavors, but behind the scenes,ABC News is told that the former president
has been deeply engaged in conversations aboutthe future of his campaign, taking calls
from any anxious Democrats, including formerHouse Speaker Nancy Pelosi, which is another

(03:45):
blow that we could talk about aswell. But he is essentially the former
president Obama is sharing his fees aboutthe president's challenges, and from this report
from the Washington Post, it looksas if Obama is really saying that he's
thinks the president needs to consider hisnext step. Yeah, there are some
heavy hitters and that have come forwardpublicly, and we're talking, of course
about Senate Leader Schumer and a SenateMajority Leader Schumer, and then House Minority

(04:10):
Leader Jeffries, and then of courseyou mentioned Nancy Pelosi there. If we
know Adam Schiff yesterday publicly saying thisas well, I feel like the house
of cards is tumbling in that inthat direction, it's his he has to
ultimately make the choice. Though fromwhat I understand is that your understanding that's
absolutely correct. So ultimately, PresidentBiden, and this is something that has

(04:33):
been circulated between many top Democrats, including former President Obama, is that thee
alone, President Biden alone, isthe one who will make the decision in
the end. Now, I willmention. Though you know, you mentioned
a couple of top names, someof them have not come out publicly to
say whether or not they believe thatPresident Biden will step aside whether or not

(04:56):
they want him to, But wedo know from former Speaker Nancy Pelosi,
and by the way, has justbeen adamant in being someone who is there
to support President Biden. She apparentlyhad told Biden last week that she and
other Democratic wallmakers are worried that he'sdragging down the party. So not only
is she worried about the White House, she's also worried about the House and

(05:17):
the Senate whether or not Democrats canwindows back. So yeah, yeah,
the doubts, that's a big,big issue. Yeah, down the down
ballot stuff is becoming. That's aI think even a larger concern. And
then also they're seeing all of thesepolls. I believe that is really kind
of forcing their hand, if youwill. If the polls were a little
more even keel, I really feellike they would probably ride with him and

(05:42):
still continue to be. But Ithink they're seeing like, hey, we
are, We're in big trouble ifthis continues to be our path. And
I think the ultimate blow and Idon't know that however publicly come out and
say it, but would be Obamawould be the I would think the ultimate.
But it's hard to say whether he'llhe'll actually ever kind of go public
with that, you know what Imean, right exactly, And it's hard

(06:03):
to tell because the same with theformer president Obama, as well as super
Anti Pelosi or send a majority oflead Chuck Schumer. All of these conversations
are happening behind the scenes in aprivate conversation. And you know, we
heard from as you mentioned, HakeiJeffries, who is the Democratic leader in
the House. He also said thathe was having private conversations, but that

(06:23):
those conversations will remain in private. So no big name is really trying to
be the one to be the firstto say that they want the president to
step aside. But it's certainly notlooking very good for him. This is
a very new and increasingly public phaseof this push to remove Biden from the
top of the Democratic ticket. Youknow, it's no longer just those those

(06:45):
you know, ranking members who arebreaking rank. It's now these top Democratic
allies of Biden who we're hearing from, you know, behind the scenes,
saying that he should step aside, but I will mention. Of course,
Biden has refused to yield. Itis making it more difficult for him though,
with these leaks from these you know, private conversations that are coming out.
It's keeping the presidents on the defensive, even though he has had numerous

(07:09):
events and public you know, NATOwas just a couple of weeks ago.
I feel like there's so much goingon in just the last couple of weeks.
Yeah, pretty crazy. The newscycle is on fire right now.
M Land, ABC News out ofWashington, and thank you very much for
the report. Appreciate you, thanksso much. All right, Yeah,
it's uh, it is only ifI was told that there were some medical

(07:30):
condition that I had and that's notthe case. That was one of the
quotes from Biden saying, and thenlast night COVID that's right, that's right.
So he looked, do you seehow feeble he looked going up just
the abbreviated stairs, the shorter stairs, the lower stairs on Air Force one,
and he's just like, listen,I want to I take no pleasure,

(07:51):
no saneness, unlike the left whowant who openly have been rooting and
We've been watching people lose their jobs, are saying, oh damn, he
missed. I don't want this,but I don't think Joe Biden's going to
be alive in two years. Thisis decline if you know anybody with dementia,

(08:15):
when you get when it has rapidlykicked up in the last three months,
six months, the way it has. Unfortunately, I don't think mister
Biden will be on this planet twoyears from now. I don't think he
may not survive it to the inaugurationas fast as he's going down. More
of your calls straight ahead. Also, Mahek Cook, who is live at
the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. She's going to join us just after the

(08:37):
top of the hour. We'll kindof run down who's going to be speaking
tonight as it's the final day,the final day slash night of the republ
