Speaker 1 (00:00):
All, yes, all, yes, the annual Chicken and Beer Festival
returning to Columbus. Chuck and I are just talking during
the break and this is the seventh annual that's coming
up June seventh at Dodge Park.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Which means there were six other yeah, Chicken and Beer festivals.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
And seriously, I was there all the time. The Queen
lived right around the corner from there when we met,
so I was down there all the time Dodge Park.
I have no idea that this even happens there. That's weird.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
You can try several types of chicken dishes from food
trucks and sip on a variety of craft beer from
ten local breweries. And they're also featuring live music performances,
even a chance to vote in a contest for.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Best chicken there.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
And this year's festival, they're going to be raising funds
that will benefit Use Your Ears to a local nonprofit
connects the youth and Columbus with a network of resources
related to music, workshops, opportunities, and then the food truck
entertainment lineup has yet to be announced, but you can
watch for updates on the Chicken and Beer Festival's website

(01:08):
and social media pages.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
And there it is.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Will be when it's June seventh at Dodge Park.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
I may need June eighth off. Uh oh, hey, you know,
we'll see what I If I'm feeling good, if I'm
down in forties or below, at that point, I may
have a chicken and beer weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Congressman Jim Jordan is joining us now. Congressman, if you're
in town, I'd like to invite you. Why don't we
go down to the chicken and Beer festival.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
That's his apple pie? Is again, not like what the
other day. The other week we were talking about the
changes the menu at the ballparks and going away from
bronx and burgers and beer and going with I don't
I can't even remember the too fancy.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Word for me that food.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
But chicken and beer is a apple pie. That's pretty good.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Well, that's as symbol as it gets. And let's go.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I mean, that's what I have to say. It's like
chicken and beer. Come on, you can't really go.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Wrong with that.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Holy an American politician can say chicken and beer is
his apple pie as it gets a no gave him flinches?

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Oh are you people know that? That's why Congressman keeps
getting elected.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Man.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
That's what they that's his allrd that's what they love
about him.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
He's one of the people, man, he's one of us.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
I told you he had me laughing earlier today. I
was sitting at the table actually laughing out loud after
about the sixth time watching it.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Oh yeah, he was, he was, what what were you watching?

Speaker 3 (02:21):
It was from a c SPAN video from the NPR
hearings where he's like, so you had how many viewers?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
And you got how many now?

Speaker 3 (02:27):
And this is a good thing.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Oh my gosh, it was wonderful.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Eighteen million less viewers. They're spending more money, more of
your money. And of course she said they weren't biased,
even though a guy who worked for for twenty five
years was an award winning journalist checked out the number
of editors for NPR in the DC area. There were
eighty seven of them, and he found all eighty seven
were Democrats, not one single republic But they're not by it.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
They're bipartisan there by party Gym was like, it's not
forty four to forty three, it's not sixteen to twenty.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
I love it, man, beautiful, I love it. I love it. Yeah,
and you know what.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Also real quick, which since you brought up the ballparks
and I was talking about this last hour, back to
this real quick and then we'll get to the business.
But this one, there's a minor league. It's the Hartford
yard Goats. It's a double A franchise in Connecticut. And
this sounds like something that Senator Kennedy would be behind,

(03:25):
you know, the yard Goats. The Senator, it sounds like
something that the Hartford yard Goats. I can hear him
talking about this right anyway, it's a double A franchise
in Connecticut. They have a floats your goat item there.
Listen to this. It's a quarter pound beef hot dog.
And I'm going, okay, don't have any problems yet, top
with peppers, onions, bacon, and brown mustard. Again, no problems yet,

(03:48):
submerged in a glass of one percent pure goat milk.
And I said, now we have a problem, Uston, we
have a problem.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Is disgusting.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Disgusting that I was with you too until you got
to the last part I read them. I agree.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
We got from chicken and beer and that, and then
you dip it in goat's milk. No, no, no, no,
and no, the we're just watching. So we have Fox
News on in here, Congressman, and we look up and
we see these Dems and their protests of Tesla. They've
lost their minds in Seattle. These people, these people are

(04:25):
doing the electric slide.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Did you see that? We were like, what is going?

Speaker 3 (04:30):
That was more of a battery powered limp than an
electric slide.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
I guess you're right.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Oh my gosh, what is that?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
We're there watching that going? What is wrong with these people?
They are they're short circuiting, man, what is happening?

Speaker 4 (04:44):
This is the last you know, firebomb Teslas do the
electric slide dance. But don't stop you know, money from
going to NPR. That's eighty seven to zero Democrats or
Republican editors. You know, don't stop that, keep that going.
It's just like none of that makes sense to h
to the American people.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
This.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
But you know, we'll just keep doing what we told
the voters we're going to do, and uh, I think
we'll be just fine. Uh they can continue to uh
do all their crazy things. Yeah I didn't. Then they
were smashing Was it like in a model Tesla car
that was.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
In New York City? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, they switched. Yeah,
footage of that.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
It was this guy on the ground like taking a hammer. Look,
if that's how you want to protest, great, stop lighting
them on fire and then shooting them up with a gun.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
I mean that's yeah right, I mean that stuff.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
Yeah, now that's dangerous and and I mean, look the
Attorney General Bond, he's indicated that you do that kind
of stuff, you're gonna get prosecuted, which is entirely appropriate.
And that's you know, I think she's even said this
is a terrorist activity what she's seen from some of
these people doing this. Uh, this this crazy stuff. So
I'd yet to figure out that the dinner, the left
attackle On Elon Monk instead of helping us address the crazy,

(05:52):
they just continue to attack the guy exposing the crazy spending.
So I think we're better off of we if we
actually saved some taxpayers some money and not not focused
where they are.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
But yees.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
So over the weekend you know here at Easton around
the corner, they were at the Tessela, the dealership there,
and you know, Chuck and I were talking to were
like this, something seems off. It's it's like this isn't
even legit. It see you saw there was footage here
locally Congressman on the news about you know, at Easton
they're they're they're out there protesting or whatever. It just

(06:24):
seems so uh sanitized or it's the weirdest thing. It
doesn't have any kind of a real feel to it,
if you will. It doesn't even seem legit. And we're
sitting here speculating, going.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Who who's financing this? Like what what is happening here?

Speaker 1 (06:41):
And how is this It's it's like it's not really
a coordinated effort, if you will, but it's just the
most bizarre displays we're continuing to see. Look them doing
that stupid electric slide or any of that stuff.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
The guy's taking a hammer to the little TV, the
little teeny one.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Great again, at least we're away from people actually lighting
them on fire and shooting them up.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
But still it just feels it just feels like it's
not even legit at this point.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
So yeah, I mean, you know, real First Amendment focused
protests where it's where there's like this genuine con I mean,
you go back fifteen years ago the whole uh two
party movement, when when it was taxing up already and
then they found out the i r S was actually
targeting conservative groups. I mean that was like genuine concern

(07:27):
about what's going on and some of the other things
we've seen over the last several years. But this seems
pretty manufactured by the what people say that brought in protesters,
the paid for protesters. Again, that's the last that's that's
just how they how they operate, And like I always say,
I think the country has figured it all out.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Eli was at a Wisconsin rally yesterday. Did you see
that and somebody was hackling say hi to George Sorows
for me.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Yeah, I love it behind it. He's so good.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
He and the Dose some of the Dose teams sitting
down with Brett Baar. I thought that was really good too.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Yeah, I'm sure you saw that. It was great.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Yeah, very start people. Uh, they should be commended for
the work they're doing instead the left attack them. But yeah,
just just getting in there an identify and everyone instinctively knows.
When you've got a government as big, the largest India
on the planets, the federal government, you know, there's waste there.
We still remember the you know, the four hundred dollars

(08:28):
hammer and all the stuff, that you know, we talk
about things that were being purchased, and so like you
you you way back when, years ago you heard those
kind of things and now everyone sort of instinctively knows
and now here he is identifying it in this systematic way,
going through and pointing it out. And what we need
is that I just talked to some of our leaders
today in the here in Congress and said, we need
a recisions package. We need like why not last week,

(08:50):
why not put a bill on the floor that says
we want to re send the money going to NPR.
Just do it, like put that on the floor. We
got we had to hearing, we got the evidence out there,
just how bad it is. Why not do it and
do a series of those. I would be for one
a week, one a month, or one big package whatever,
but let's get it done.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Hey, also switching gears here too. And I'm sure you've
seen this footage. It is it is eye opening seeing
Homeland Security Secretary Gnome at that prison. What is it
in l Salvador? That that terrorism confinement center? I believe
that's where it was. And I'm watching that footage and
that was late last week when they were showing that

(09:28):
stuff and seeing, Hey, this is what's gonna happen to you.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
You know, this is where you are possibly headed.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
And I think it was President Trump's latest move today
and I don't have the everything right exactly in front
of me, but him using a different method to get
some of these guys sent back to El Salvador and
as opposed you know, because the one judge was standing
in the way.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Yeah, yeah, well let's.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
Think about that. Those bad guys that you saw in
that footage, those are the guys that that judge Bozburg
said turned the plane around bringing back to the country. Right, Well,
I mean these are hardened illegals done done bad things,
gang members, terrorist organization, organization trendy Aragua gang and that
judges bring those guys back to America, and most Americans

(10:19):
are like, are you kidding me? And that we're gonna
be talking about that, you see tomorrow in our in
our hearing we're doing on this whole judge issue and
then kind of going against President Trump with these nationwide
injunctions and everything else. We're gonna be talking about that,
uh in a hearing to Martin.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Yeah, that's that is amazing, And yeah, I don't know
if you saw the Babylon B where it said President
Trump stepping down.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
He's going to be a judge so he can actually
get stuff done.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
The B is funny. The Babylon B is one. I mean,
God bless them, they are funny.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
Hey.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Also, I wanted to throw this by you real quick
and then we'll cut you loose.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
But I saw I was reading, and of course you
can't believe everything. But it's being reported that can has
seized all the phone and banking records for everybody that
was on Pelosi staff January sixth, and it supposedly he's
going after going from this angle. Any have you heard
anything about anything like this, because when I saw this,

(11:15):
I started salivating.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
I'll be honest, man, No, it was this.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
It was on It was on AX. Yeah, yeah, it
was somebody who was reporting it. So it wasn't like
an actual news source like Fox.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
I have to do Jack, I'm not. I mean, I
will tell you this. It's night and day dealing with
Cashpitel versus the Garland Ray Justice Department and Pam Bonding. Cashpitel.
We've I think we've talked about before. We did seven
sub Penis four weeks ago and a compliance from from
the FBI has been amazing and they continue to get
this information on some important issues that we were still

(11:47):
wanted to get some answers to some of the questions
we have. So they've been great. But I don't know
about this one's specifically, but we'll check it out.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Yeah, all right, very good, Congressman Jim Jordan, thanks for
jumping on with this. Apreciated Yeah. Takes there, guys, see
you man, all right there he goes good stuff.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Sorry, we try to like work all this, you know,
it's like, hey, how about how about the how about what?

Speaker 3 (12:07):
I'm sitting here thinking we need like two straight hours
with him because there's so many things. I sit here
and I'm thinking, okay, well do this, this, this and this.
You've got a limited amount of time.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
One thing leads into one and another and all that,
and it's like we can get we need to get
him here in the studio and do like a whole
show with us when he's in town at some point.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Well, that would be ideal. Tell them we'll bring chicken
and beer that tastes like apple pie.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
He'll be here that that probably would do it.
