(00:05):
Ladies and gentlemen in this corner fromthe University of Colorado, Thirty years in
the Rain, fighting for Truth,Justice and the American Way, Chaps twelve
o five on this pretty afternoon,Glad you're here. So much going on.

(00:25):
We're talking about Dave Williams, chairof the GOP. Under his leadership,
the GOP sending out this insidious, awful, toxic email that really defames
not in a legal sense, butreally the fames all Republicans in Colorado.
Because when the GOP sends out anemail using the word hate to a referring

(00:45):
to gay people, of course, what's the message going to be? GOP
Republicans hate gay people, and nothingcould be further from the truth. I
don't know about Dave Williams himself, who's behind this apparently, but because Dave
won't come on the show to talkabout it, but I can tell you
a guy who used to be aDemocrat and has now spoken to an awful
lot of Republican groups over the yearsand everything else, Republicans do not hate

(01:06):
gay people. Quite the opposite. Now, Republicans have their head on right
when it comes to public policy. No, gay rights and trans rights don't
trump religious liberty. They don't trumpfree speech, they don't trump parents' rights.
We've got to fight very, veryhard to hold on to our religious
liberty, hold on to free speech, hold on to parents' rights, and
more when it comes to pushing backagainst this radical administration that's trying to impose

(01:32):
its will when it comes to LGBTQplus stuff. Right, So, on
a policy issue, Republicans have theirheads on right now. I bet they
are an awful lot of Democrats whoagree with Republicans on that. But when
it comes to the human piece,to basic love and respect, dignity,
etc. No, it is theexact opposite. Now, I can tell

(01:53):
you all these different Republican groups,I've had the privilege to speak at all
these different events everything else, Ihaven't picked up any animus whatsoever when it
comes to gays, as the realityis that right everybody knows gay people,
a lot of people have gay peoplein their family, a lot of people
work with gay people. This andthat that animis just isn't out there.
So why in the world if youwere sitting there and you were on the

(02:15):
left and you wanted to absolutely destroywhatever's left of the Colorado Republican Party,
and you wanted to absolutely destroy thereputation of Colerad of Republicans in Colorado.
You're sitting there on the left, you're evilly trying to plot that. And
what do you do. You havea chance to talk to the party chair.

(02:35):
What do you do you say tothe party chair? Hey, send
out an email that says you hategays, right, that's these So of
course that's what the Colorado gop Iput that in quotes because it doesn't represent
Republicans in Colorado. That's what DaveWilliams does, and it causes so much
harm. But it just as bad. The worst part of it is the
way that it really does to fameand slime all Republicans in Colorado and those

(03:00):
who are active in the party, who are overwhelmingly really great people doing hard
work to try to benefit all ofus, and it slimes them as some
kind of gay haters, which isfalse. So that's the worst part of
it, you know, and thereare a lot of really bad parts of
it. And the second worst partof it is it hands the political opponent

(03:22):
on these very important issues. Religiousliberty is a big blanking deal, freedom
of speech is a big blanken deal. Parental rights is a big blanken deal.
These are issues we need to fightthrough the courts, fight through the
political channels to win on But wewin with law and logic and reason and
love. We don't win with hateand have a party chair who wants to

(03:46):
represent us as haters, the oppositeof us. It should not be tolerated.
And we know Dave isn't going toresign that whoever does is central Committee,
whatever needs to stand up and makea change. And the interest of
the cause is that we all shareand believe in. With these issues being
so important, standing up to theleft on all these issues, would you

(04:09):
want to hand the political opponents theseeasy victories. It's a betrayal of the
causes we all believe in. Whyso one guy can light his hair on
fire and get a lot of attentionthat maybe helps his primary No, that's
not who we are. And thisis where real leaders like Barb Kirkmeyer and
Nancy Palazzi with the JEFCO GOP,they know they're going to take a lot

(04:32):
of abuse, they know they're goingto take a lot of heat. Everybody
can see how Dave tries to fireback on his opponents but they're willing to
stand up for what's right here, and Republicans all over the state need to
do that. Whether they consider themselvesgrassroots or establishment or somewhere in between,
it doesn't matter. He is underminingall of you. He is undermining everything

(04:54):
you believe in those causes, andhe's making you look really bad in the
process, unless, of course, you do hate gays, then you're loving
it right. But I haven't meta single Republican who does it. Certainly
doesn't represent the party. Dennis andParker, you're on the Dan Kaplas Show.
Welcome, Greetings, greetings, verynice to take a little bit of

(05:16):
your time, and I apologize formy lack of knowledge and eloquence that you
command. And I'd like to justdivert a little bit from what you're talking
about. I know your topic isDave Williams, but I think the Democrats
are laughing all the way to theballot box in being able to divert and

(05:40):
cast a negative sponge on the Republicans. What I've done, I was telling
your screener that the past two elections, what I've done is I've taken my
ballot, I've signed it with myleft hand, not my right hand.
Normal. Sure. I've also takenin the in the script on the top

(06:03):
that gives you the instructions on howto vote and all that stuff. I
put a code in there, whichI've taken a picture of I've got from
my own records. And what isreally funny is that my ballot was accepted
and said, oh, thank youfor voting, and blah blah blah.
So I'm saying that the Jenna Griswoldgold standard is far from gold standard.

(06:27):
Dennis, let me interrup one second, only because we have people all fired
up on this Dave Williams stuff, and I've got to stand on that topic.
But you're telling me you intentionally madeyour signature, it was your signature,
but made it look like something elseand it got accepted anyway. Did
you then have to did you pursuethat through any channels? I'm not saying
you should have. I'm just curious. I would love to. I just

(06:47):
don't know what the right you knowto verify standing in that. Yeah?
No, no, no, I'mfascinated by this. Dennis. Can you
be this favorite? Can we talkoff airon I'll get you back on air
so you can make whatever case youwant to the people. But I just
want to see if there's a wayfor us to use this experience to test
the system and try to get tothe bottom of just how high these verification

(07:11):
standards are. So, Kelly, could you get Dennis's info and give him
my cell also so we can talkoff air. Yes, Mike, thank
you, Mike and Lakewood, you'reon the Dan Kaplis Show. Welcome.
Oh yeah, Hi, Dan.I don't agree with you what he says,
like Christians are supposed to love everybody, and you know, I hate
to stay in that center. Butat the same time, he's America and

(07:35):
his constitution, and he's had aright to say what he wants to say.
And I've never heard of anybody it'sbeen Republicans, you know, back
up, somebody slimming gay people, the gay people, the gauge in as
a gig governor, the Gate movementinto the whole town thing, disrespect anybody
other than themselves. All they dois bass and make everybody look stupid,

(07:56):
family, stupid mom, and stupidtransaxals A great I mean, they're just
literally destroying our society with their opinionand shoving in our face and then when
someone wants to bask to them andthen it's not back to what he did.
Everybody's all over this guy, Whydon't you know? I mean,
we could be all over the gaysall day long with what they're doing as
far as being stupid and being outof line all day long, and nobody's

(08:18):
doing it. So I think thesociety is too much respect for gay people
as a whole, and they wantto worry about offending gay people. Now
when the Republicans are going to lookbad because one guy offended of the gay
people, I'm fine with it.It's a dirty stop. It's a dirty,
sloppy war of words that we bothuse and today use it to a

(08:39):
hundred times what we do. Butthe one time we do it, we
want to hang and find the guythat that does it. Where's you know,
where's our forgiveness? Where's their forgiveness? I don't hear them calling them
and complain about him. You know, you can talk all day long about
what someone wants to say and andSerry's the Republican? Are you leader?

(09:00):
Wherever he is? Literally? ButI don't know. I give him a
couple of days. Maybe he'll callyou, and maybe you can talk to
him, maybe you can go alongthere. And I wouldn't mind he what
he has to say. I'd loveto hear what he has to say.
I think the reason we haven't beenable to get him on air is he
can't defend what he's done, Mike, because if somebody really cares about these
causes, because what you have isis first of all, and when you

(09:22):
say gay people quote unquote, Ithink that's way too broad because if you're
talking about the typical gay person,do you know gay people, Mike,
I'm sure you do. I haveone, And so you probably have no
problem with that person, right,No, not until it gets deep rooted
into their what they really think, and bright until the conversation turns to politics.

(09:48):
I get Thanksgiving dinner. You don'thave any problem with that person,
right, You don't sit around hatingon that person. You've got concerns on
a policy level. You want tomake sure that there's religious liberty, that
they're free speech, that parental rightsare protected, that the government is an
indoctrinating kids into a particular sexuality. So you, like the rest of us,

(10:09):
have all these serious concerns. AndMike and I can give you detail
after detail. There are all sortsof serious people working on multiple levels every
single day to stand up to thatfar left agenda. They're working through the
courts all the way up to theUS Supreme Court, that they're working through
politics. They're doing everything they canto win on these critical policy issues.

(10:33):
And then you get just a wildeyed flamethrower like Dave who comes in and
as party chairs, starts throwing thehate word around, and all he does
is hand those political opponents a hugevictory and undermine the Republicans who are actually
working to win on the policy issues. So it may be a short term
sugar high for some to see Davethrow these bombs, but it undermines the

(10:58):
cause. And it's all I'm sohateful. I'm sure that's not who you
are, Mike, It's not whoI am. It's not who Republicans are.
You don't hate that family member. But Dave wants to throw on the
hate words so he can get moreattention. That's awful and extremely counterproductive,
a gift to the opponents, flinesand text on fire as they should be.

(11:28):
This is a seminole moment, right, I mean, the GOP in
Colorado is a tough slog as wefight back against all the different forces aligned
against us. But that doesn't meanwe can just give up. And right
now it's like a give up momentwhen you've got Dave Williams doing these crazy
goofy things that undermine our causes andthe party. And the question is whether

(11:50):
enough folks in the party, theCentral Committee will rise up to just say,
hey, if we love you,and I like Dave, but you
cannot be our party chair. Thesecauses are more important than you. You
know, this state is more importantthan you. Eight y five for zero
five eight two five five the number. So I want to get to those
calls and text. Here's a text, Dan, If you spend as much
time talking about the liberal screw upsas you do bashing our fellow conservatives,

(12:13):
we might actually win something. Texter, I wish you would call. The
nice thing is these shows are allon tape, right, and so the
percentage of time I spend bashing theleft to criticizing the right is probably ninety
nine to one. And that's deservedbecause I'm a truth teller, right Listen,

(12:33):
above all, I don't care whatRepublicans think to me. A Democrats
are un affiliateds. I care aboutwhat like that ultimate judge up there thinks
of me. I try to bea truth teller and I come on here
every day and I turn that micon. And if you think I'm wrong
about something, as Prime says,I ain't hard to find, you can
text me, you can call me, you can show me where I'm wrong.
So if you think I'm unfairly criticizingDave Williams, please tell me,

(12:58):
but understand the and show me showeverybody back it up or pack it up.
But the reason, the reason rightnow I'm speaking up is because if
you care about conservative causes, ifyou care about conservative candidates winning, then
you must do whatever you can doto try to assure that Dave Williams has
removed his chair, because right now, if he was trying to undermine our

(13:22):
candidates and our causes, how couldhe do it any more effectively than what
he's been doing these last few weeks. So thank you for your text,
but please do call Dan. Imiss KBB Dan. That's the best analysis
I've ever heard you give. Dan. Thank you so much. I now
know where you come from. Shameon you again. Please do call the

(13:43):
show. I don't know whether you'recoming from the left or the right on
that or whatever. You can besure the left doesn't want me saying these
things. The left wants Dave Williamsto be party chair for life. That
Dave Williams right now is the biggestgift to the left in color it has
ever received. Tammy and Aurora, you're on the dan kaplas shall welcome.

(14:07):
Dan. I obviously don't am notprivy to these emails that you keep referring
to, and I'm not sure youknow how things rewarded except for the snippet
that you gave us, which inwhich you said that Dave Williams said God
hates pride. So I went onto the Twitter feed for both Dave Williams

(14:31):
Rep. And the Colorado GOP,and what I see him saying is that
he is speaking out against this ideology, not against any individuals like you know
you keep referencing the GAZE. Idon't think that that's what he's doing.

(14:52):
And I agree with your previous callerthat the Colorado GOP is supposed to be
be about our freedoms and our liberties, and that includes free speech and one
more thing us giving back to theleft by our silence or oh that's okay,

(15:16):
we'll get you next time has nevergotten us one inch, not one
So we haven't keep coming until theyget everything they want. And you think
this is the way to win,Timmy, you think this is the way
to win. I think he's speakingabout the ideology, and I think it's
time we all start speaking up aboutthe way they that the left is ramming

(15:39):
this down our throat. And Ido it every day on air a great
personal expense. But getting back tomy question, do you think this is
the way to win? It's not. And you're obviously a very smart,
articulate person, and you cannot makethe case that this is the way to
win. And guess what. Theonly way we get to stop the left
from doing all these awful things thatthey're doing to children in Colorado and doing

(16:00):
everybody in Colorado is to win. This is the way to lose. But
have you seen that the June thirdemail. It's not a tweet, it's
an actual email sent by the Coloradog That's why I started out by saying,
I haven't been proving to these specificemails fair enough because you have a
normal life. Yeah, let mereference that email Okay, first the email

(16:25):
quote god hates pride, But thenthere's also, as I read it,
and somebody correct me if I'm seeingit wrong, there's also a video linked
where it says God hates flags, which appears to be a thinly veiled reference
to that awful Westboro church, Godhates fags. And then, to relieve
any doubt, it goes on tosay, this email from the Colorado GOP,

(16:47):
the month of June has arrived andonce again the godless groomers in our
society want to attack what is decent, holy and righteous so they can ultimately
harm our children. So can youagree that thesage that's being received everywhere here
and across the country is the ColoradoGOP hates gays. I mean you use
that H word. That H wordis nuclear and that's the message that everybody's

(17:11):
receiving. No surprise. Well,I think you're narrowing it down a little
too too small to say it's justabout the gaze, because we all know
that this movement, the LGBTQ movement, is not just about the gays.
Well, right, I think thatyou know that's that's a mistake on our

(17:34):
part to narrow it down to onecommunity. And by the way, did
you know that there is a hugemovement within the gay community right now to
separate from the LGBTQ and Timmy,we want to be included in that.
Yeah, and Timmy, we're losingthe connection. I have to this break.

(17:56):
But to your last point, thisis critical. Your point about LGBTQ
movement is not necessarily about the gays. There's no question in my mind that
the left is using this movement totry to undermine religious liberty more broadly,
undermine parental rights more broadly, undermineFirst Amendment speech more broadly. And those

(18:18):
are very very dangerous things, whichmakes what Dave's doing even worse because we
need to win on those policy issues, which means we need to win elections,
which means we need more people inthe republic Party. Who do you
think wants to join the Republican Partynow? After the GOP reed, Dave
sends out an email like that andrepresents us to be the party of hating

(18:40):
gays. Yeah, that's a wayto win, right, No, it's
a gift to our opponents. Theseissues are too important. We need to
win. So this is the firsttime I've said this, and for those
hotel workers, people that get tips, You're going to be very happy because

(19:03):
when I get to office, weare going to not charge taxes on tips
people making tips. Whether you likethe post or not, that that's the
Trump we know in love all thefresh ideas, the different stuff. Nobody
saw that coming, I'm sure Button. Oh my goodness, can you imagine
the reaction in his camp when theyheard that. I mean, and we'll

(19:25):
get back to talking about that.I think it's fascinating and it's going to
help them tremendously. Hey, let'sgo to the VIP line and happy to
welcome Jeff Herd back to the show. He's running for Congress in CD three,
which, as you probably know,is a district Lauren Bobert is representing
currently, but now she's running inthe CD four race. Jeff, welcome

(19:45):
back to the Dan Kapla Show.Hey, Dan, great to be here.
Well, thank you my friend.Since we last chatted, I think
I saw a poll come out andthe poll had you way ahead, but
a whole bunch of people undecided. Was I reading that right? That's right.
It's an encouraging poll. It showswe've got strong fundamentals, but it
also shows us a long ways togo, and we got to keep our
foot on the gas. Yeah, and not too long right. June twenty

(20:07):
five, fifteen days, two twoweeks from tomorrow. Oh my lord,
I bet you can't wait funch time. I bet you cannot plait. But
so for those who weren't with uslast time. And by the way,
all of the candidates are welcome onthis show, of course, tell us
a little bit about yourself. Sure, So, I am a Cauroro native.

(20:27):
I grew up here on the WesternSlope, family man, five kids,
been married to my wife for it'llbe nineteen years in about three weeks.
I have spent my professional career helpingrural Colorado, primarily rural electric cooperatives,
and not a career politician, hardworking, authentic. And I'm the guy
that's going to beat Adam Fish inthe November election. Boy, and I

(20:51):
think there are a lot of Democratswho believe you're going to beat him as
well. But Jeff, this primary, how many candidates are in the primary
right now? There are six candidatesin the primary as you're out there right
now. Is it what we wouldexpect right now? Immigration, inflation,
et cetera. Is that topping thelist of concerns, or is there some

(21:12):
sleeper issue out there. Nope, that's it. They's securing the border is
issue number one. So energy independence is something that's big here in southern
and western Colorado. And then protectingwater, n egg, those are the
core issues. That's what I hearabout, and that's what I'm going to
fight for and for those who arestill and I gather from that poll and
an awful lot of people who arefamiliar with the candidates prefer you. But

(21:36):
obviously there are a bunch who aren'tfamiliar with any of you yet. Beyond
the obvious bio points, what isit about you? What is it about
what you've done in your life, maybe beyond your children and your wife,
your proudest moment. Tell people somethingthey haven't heard about you that shows them
the real you. Well, I'mthe guy that's hardest to keep your electricity

(22:00):
bills low, and so if youcare about keeping your the cost of electricity,
the cost of energy low, I'myour guy. That's what I've spent
my career doing, representing rural electriccooperatives up and down the Western Slope,
trying to fight bad government regulations, that increase the cost of your electric bill
every month. That's kind of thecore thing. So if you care about

(22:21):
those things, if you care aboutlow cost energy, low cost food,
you know, saving at the grocerystore, saving at the gas pump.
That's what I've dedicated my career toprofessionally, and that's what I've been doing
Washington, is help you save moneyand lower your cost of living. And
if you're looking for somebody that's foughtin his career doing that, and we'll
do that for you in Congress,Jeff Hurd is your guy? Is there
something from your life, your personallife, just some moment in your life

(22:47):
that you know shows the best ofyour character or might really sum you up
for folks. You know, onething I think people are surprised to hear
about me is actually I did nothave any plans to ever go into politics.
I was actually studying to be apriest, to believe it or not,
And so that's about as far frompolitics as as yet I thought I
was going to give it in.It just goes to show you never know

(23:11):
where life is going to bring in, where God's going to bring in.
I say that now as a dadof five kids, and so you know,
I'm definitely far away from where Iexpected to be. But you know,
God calls you to places that youdon't always expect, and here I
am. See it's interesting because Iwas on track for the priesthood as well
and was sure I was going togo back. What is it that changed

(23:32):
that path for you? At first? I didn't know that, Dan,
That's that's awesome, Okay, youand I have that in commons. I
met my now wife at a yesat a conference, and next thing I
knew I was on the path togetting married. So yeah, yeah,
that's you never know what and thoseof you that are never aren't quite sure
what your path is in life. You never know what God is going to

(23:55):
show you. So that's exactly whathappened to me, and it sounds like
to you too, Dan. Yeah, I know, very very true,
and mine was a little bit differenttwist, but I knew it when it
happened. I've just been fixated onthat path, was sure that's where I
was going, but then understood therewas a different intent. Hey, what's
your website? Website is Jeff Heardfor Colorado. That's j E F F

(24:18):
h U R D FO R Coloradodot Com. All right, Jeff,
hey, appreciate the time. Goodluck out there. Thanks so much.
Dan, great talking with you.Take care, We'll talk to you soon.
Thank you. That is Jeff Hurt. Impressive cat from Everything I Can
Tell hit five five for zero fiveA two five five text d A N
five seven seven three nine the textblowing up as we talk about whether Dave

(24:44):
Williams should be removed as party chair. I know the calls from some are
for his resignation, but we allknow Dave isn't going to resign. Dan
quit telling people they are wrong.Thanks. It would be a very short
show, right, including myself whenI'm I say it. But I think
the whole point of this show isto tell the truth right, and then
if I am wrong, people haveevery opportunity to point it out. Think

(25:07):
about that. Unlike all these politicians, people in office, everything else.
Shannon, you know it. ShannonScott would have the best show on Eric,
except he doesn't want to be infront of the mic. But you've
been doing this how many years now? It's ninety three? What is ninety
three? So we came in atabout the same time. I think it
was ninety one for me the ClarenceThomas hearings. But yeah, I mean

(25:29):
there's no censor back there, right, I mean, Kelly is Saddam could
call and she'd put him on whatshould break some news? Right she would
say, sir, I'm having avery hard time understanding. See, that's
what I mean. If Shannon Scottwould sit in front of this microphone every
day, I would probably quit myjob to listen to your show. Right,

(25:52):
well, I wouldn't have a jobbecause you'd take this show or any
other show you wanted. No,guy's hilarious. But that's the point is
if I'm wrong on some thing,Texter, everybody in the world has an
open door to come in and showit. So you got to speak the
truth, and the truth means talkingabout who's right and who's wrong. Ah
Dan, It's amazing to me.Dave Williams actually considers himself a Christian.

(26:15):
I guess he's qualified to cast thefirst stone. Mike and Henderson, Listen.
I don't. I don't get intothat for anybody. Listen. I'm
so focused on my own flaws whenit comes to who's a good this or
who's a good that. You knowwhat I'm talking about? Is when somebody

(26:36):
as party chair uses God as asword to attack their opponents or to attack
those in the party who question whathe's doing, while at the same time,
in my opinion, he's misusing thefaith, He's undermining the causes through

(26:57):
the tactics he's employing. That's whatI don't like. In terms of whether
Bobby or Billy or anybody else isa good Christian or a good Catholic or
a good Jew or whatever. Inever address that. That's I'm the last
person on the planet qualified to talkabout that, you know. I'm just
talking about what somebody's doing as partychair when they go out and put up

(27:19):
a message like God hates flags, which is I think a thinly veiled reference
to the horrific God hates fags ofthat awful Westboro Church, and you know,
God hates pride in this and thatit's just an associating God with hate
in a political context like this justjust kind of painting Republicans as haters,

(27:45):
which is so fundamentally unfair. Thinkabout it. You probably know a lot
of people in the GOP. Youmay be in it yourself. I know
a lot of people in the GOP. If you do you know they are
not haters, They are the oppositeof that. But people outside the GOP
all the knows the stereotypes. Soall Dave's doing is feeding that awful,
unfair, dishonest stereotype and handing theleft a gift. No, no,

(28:08):
it's it's time for a change. But those who disagree will take you first
eight five to five for zero fiveeight two five five text d an five
seven seven three nine five to fiftyone, Glad you're here. Phone lines
and text have been exploding, especiallythe text in Fuego Dan. If the

(28:33):
Central Republican Committee does not remove DaveWilliams, and I will remove myself and
all my financial support from this party. This man has broken party rules,
He ruins a reputation, and hemust be outed. That is the only
way I have to speak to theparty as my membership. If they will
not listen, I will not speakto them anymore. Text Obviously, I
have no idea who this texture isor what they contribute to the party,

(28:53):
et cetera. In terms of andI agree obviously that Dave should not be
the party share anymore. At thispoint, his actions have the effect of
helping the opponents tremendously and making theGOP look bad. I don't know of
any party rules that Dave's broken, though I think Dave has had been behind
rule changes that allow things that don'tmake any sense, such as for the

(29:18):
GOP to endorse in primaries. Ithought the job of the GOP was to
provide a level playing field so thecandidates could do it out in a primary
and the voters could make the choice. But I don't know that he's broken
any party rules. I just thinkhe's done a lot of things that undermine
the causes, undermine the party, undermine our candidates, and help the left

(29:40):
win, which goes to I've hada number of texts along these same lines.
I'll paraphrase it, Dan, DaveWilliams has infiltrated the GOP. Now
he's trying to undermine or destroy theGOP from inside. You said he used
to be a Democrat. I thinkhe still is. No, forgive me,
I used to be a Democrat.I'm not saying Dave Williams, so

(30:00):
what's effort a democrat? Not atall. And we've had a number of
Texters say, hey, do youthink he's like Ken Buck? Now?
Do you think he's trying to helpthe left. No, I don't,
not at all. I think Dave'sa very smart guy. I enjoyed Dave.
I think on some level Dave mustunderstand right that that he is helping

(30:21):
the left here and hurting the causesthat he says he believes in. But
maybe he doesn't. Maybe he doesn't. Maybe he's just so close to this
now and so focused on his ownelection and attracting attention to himself that maybe
that's he's he's just completely missing thisbigger picture right now. Eight F five

(30:42):
for zero five A two five fivethe number textda N five seven seven thirty
nine. But no matter what hisintent is, the effect is obvious.
Right. He's undermining the cause ishe's undermining our candidates. He's making it
much harder to win now and intothe future, and he's helping the left
win. That's a pretty bad cocktailwhere I come from. Kevin in Beautiful

(31:03):
Boulder, you're on the Dan Kaplisshow. Welcome. Speaking of God,
I said, speaking of God,Yes, I'm in favor of what Trump
proposes with getting rid of the incometax for certain people, because in the
Bible, God requires the gold andsilver standard, and the constitution requires a

(31:26):
gold and silver standard, but wedon't have that now because the banks created
and own the federal Reserve system. So allow me to play this sounstitutional money
to tax and there is no constitutionalmoney to pay a tax with. Okay,
let me let me play the soundfor the folks who aren't familiar with
what you're referring to. So thisis the first time I've said this.

(31:48):
And for those hotel workers and peoplethat get tips, you're going to be
very happy because when I get tooffice, we are going to not charge
taxes on tips people. And Ithink, wow. So what do you
think of that underlying policy, Kevin? Do you have any thoughts on that
separate apart from federal reserve, goldstandard, silver standard, et cetera.
What do you think of the policy? Well, it plays favorites with certain

(32:15):
people, unless he's going to applyit to every worker, But in general,
I'm in favor of it because nobodyshould pay an income tax in this
country. Okay, Kevin, haveyou tried that? Have you tried that
at home? Not pay an incometax? I'm saying nobody should. Okay,
Okay, everybody should have a bigtax revolt. And just refuse to

(32:37):
pay income bat you pay yours andlawful for many reasons, but you pay
yours. No, I don't pay. I paid income tax. I'm seventy
four. I paid income fifty onceand that was nineteen seventy four, and
then you something like dollars did youowe income tax in other years and you
just didn't pay it? I didn'towe tax at all for the reason I

(33:00):
just gave you. But I paid. But I didn't know that then,
Okay, So I paid fifty dollarson income that I thought qualified for an
income tax in nineteen seventy four. And were there other years when you know,
the government said that you owed incometax, but you chose not to
pay The government never said anything, okay about that? Okay, Kevin,

(33:23):
all right, I get it.First of all, do not follow Kevin's
lead. Do not follow Kevin's advice. Follow the law. If you want
to change the law, go changethe law. Right. Sorry. It's
just frustrating to me when people won'tgive a direct answer. And I appreciate
Kevin listening. I hope he listensforever. I hope he calls all the

(33:44):
time. But let's give a directanswer and follow the law, unless you
don't like it, then change thelaw. But wow, well, anyway,
we'll continue to follow this story duringthe week, you know, whether
there's going to be more of amovement to seek Dave's Ousters party chair.

(34:06):
But I think what's most critical ultimatelyis that people just speak up against this.
You know, it's not personal.Again, I really like the guy,
and he's always welcome here, andwe've had a lot of great conversations.
But Dave is doing so much toharm the causes right now, so
much that has the effect of helpingthe other side so much. That's just
flat wrong. I just think it'svery important for everybody to go on record

(34:30):
on this. It just shouldn't beignored at this point. Tomorrow we'll be
following. You know that you wouldthink, in the normal course sense,
it appears to be an absolutely slamdunk case that Hunter Biden would be convicted
tomorrow on these charges. For thereasons I've talked about. I think that
Joe Biden is probably pulling very hardfor a Hunter Biden conviction. I think

(34:50):
the whole Biden clan is pulling hardfor a Hunter Biden conviction so they can
then say oh, you got yourpound of flesh. Everybody's equal under the
law. And hey, what aboutthose tax evasion charges that then start to
get into the money, like wheredid Hunter get that money and why did
he have that money? Was itto buy influence through Joe? Yeah,
they want to distract and deflect.Probably the best thing that could happen to

(35:14):
Trump would be for Hunter Biden tobe acquitted tomorrow, but expect a conviction.
