Speaker 2 (04:21):
And you went down to Hawaii, landed at the airport.
Did you catch an uber? Did you catch a taxi?
Did somebody pick you up?
Speaker 3 (04:31):
We rented a car?
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Oh, y'all rented a car too, so you had the
opportunity to drive all over the place when you wanted
to hunt.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Okay, So you went to Hawaii. Did you do anything
other than meeting your you know, like your role model?
Did you do other things?
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (04:47):
We did a lot. Actually, we went snorkeling and hiking.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
So you went to Hawaii and then you met your
role model? How was that?
Speaker 4 (05:15):
Yeah, it was really cool. We met at a beach
and kind of just like talked for like forty five
ish minutes and it was really cool.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Okay, so she was a person. I think she got
bit by a shark or something.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Yeah, her arm got bitten off by a shark when she.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Was fourteen, Okay, and then she didn't give up.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
No, she like two weeks after she her arm had
healed up, she went back out and started surfing again.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Really yeah, all right, so what what did that? What
did that do for you? Knowing that she had, you know,
these obstacles and everything that was in her way and
she just kept going. And I know you probably had
some obstacles as well, So what what did that do
for you?
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Kind of just showed me like never give up and
you can like accomplish your dreams and like do what
you want to.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Okay, So what are your dreams? When you get you know,
like you know, I'm not gonna say older, because when
I say older, then I'm talking about myself and I
don't want to stay older. I say mature, So we
can get a little bit more mature. What would you
like to do?
Speaker 4 (06:25):
I would like to be a dancer definitely, and yeahs
a dancer.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Okay, well, you know there are schools for dancing. Have
you looked at any schools?
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Not really really?
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yeah, Okay, well I'm just gonna say AMDA anyway. Uh
you know my kids went to AMDA. They went to
Amber Ama. Uh they uh by the fact, uh, the
one in California. And then you have to do like
so many months over in New York and then you
come back to California.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Okay, yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
And then my daughter, my one daughter, she now owns
two dance studios up in California, so she's teaching a
lot of dance as well. But she's been danced, she's
been dancing forever forever. My other daughter she said, nah,
you know what, I don't want to dance anymore. So
she's a math teacher over at Webster Wester School District.
(07:19):
She's over in the Western School District. So yeah, so yeah,
that's cool. So Homebuilders along with Makeuweiz Foundation, they're raffling
off this home and they're gonna do the raffle on
April twenty ninth. So you're here to encourage everybody to
get those tickets. They can go online to hbrm EA
(07:40):
dot org and register to get those tickets. So talk
to just tell people how something like this helps out
a kid like you.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
So the money for the tickets is going to go
to the Make a Wish Foundation, which helps kids kind
of that aren't doing so well. It helps them like
kind of just like go where they want to and
like kind of just like help accomplish where like they
(08:16):
want to be and where they like their dreams.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
And yeah, just like you. So we're encaraging everybody to
go to hb R M e A dot org. You
have an opportunity to win this big house. It's about
three hundred thousand dollars and if you don't want the home,
you can actually take the money. It's brought to you
by the home builders and remodelers. They're doing all this
(08:40):
to help out the Make a Rich Foundation. Ralph Woy
is going to be April twenty ninth. You really want
to help out, you know kids, because if you was
in the studio and you can just see how how
joyous Kaitlin is said it's looking right now, you would
want to give as well. So make sure you go
to the website hb R M e A dot org
(09:01):
and register today to get your tickets now you can.
I think tickets they started a certain amount. But you
know what, listen, let me tell you something. Y'all can
just reach down in y'all pocket, pull out that hundred
dollar bill, that two hundred you know, you know, give
two hundred, you can give a thousand, you can give
five thousand, you know, because this is for a great
cause and it's for kids like Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn, I want
(09:22):
to thank you so much for coming in the studio
and actually making my day. I was having a rough
day until you came in. I appreciate that. All right. Now,
stay strong, stay up, and you know, if you can't
do me a favor, just keep getting on everybody nerves
in the house.
