Speaker 1 (00:00):
Dash in the jam In Morning Show with DJ Foreurn
It's saw.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
T Good Morning.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Gostin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four
or five.

Speaker 4 (00:10):
Hi, everybody, Good Morning.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Show's looking a little different this week. DJ forn is
or was on a cruise. My my gut is telling
me he's back, because I think that he left for
the cruise on Sunday and it was just a three
day or so he's probably.

Speaker 5 (00:25):
Actually he got there on Monday because I texted him
and he texted me back, so he just got off
a flight.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Okay, so maybe the crew. So maybe he's still on
the cruise. Maybe it started Tuesday.

Speaker 5 (00:34):
If I'm guessing he's on the cruise, will he'll be
back in the in the US by Friday?

Speaker 4 (00:38):
He was going on what what what cruise? Royal Caribbean,
Royal Caribbean.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
We obviously our gut was telling us he was lying
and going on Carnival. That's still you have to be determined,
but you know what, he went somewhere.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
AJ did not.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
AJ is in Tuksbury, Beautiful in her bedroom.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
So we found out.

Speaker 5 (00:57):
Playing on her leather couch with with toys, rediscovering herself.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Okay, sorry, AJ's on vacation rediscovering herself. If you don't
know what we're talking about, for the love of God,
just catch up via the podcast. But Jewels is in
helping us out. And yesterday you came in and you
told me that you feel like people that get up
early in the morning feel like we are better than.

Speaker 6 (01:23):
Yes, people who wake up early in the morning they
look down on people who sleep in.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Well, yeah, yeah, a hundred percent I do. I'm not
even gonna.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
Front like I'm not taking away from like how hard
you work, but when you sleep until eleven or twelve,
that's giving me like lazybotes.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Creep Like your room is dirty.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
My room is dirty.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
I don't know that to be true, but my gut
is telling me that anybody that doesn't get up till
eleven a or like lunch, your.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Rooms not clean. I don't it's not clean.

Speaker 6 (01:54):
But I go to bed really late, like one. It
depends on the date, sometimes three four o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
It's I mean like that, but that that's not appealing
to me, Like, let's let me get up in the
morning and lets you're right now. Your profession does add
in to this. On an average day. Explain to everybody
if you had a gig, what that would look like.

Speaker 6 (02:16):
So I would wake up at seven o'clock in the morning,
bring my son to school, probably jump in back in bed.
And one of the reason why I jump back in
bed is because I know how long my day is
going to be, so I'll jump back in bed, sleep
and use for yourself.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Just give us the timeline.

Speaker 6 (02:31):
Okay, I wake up at about eleven, I'll eat something,
prepare for whatever gig I had. At two o'clock, I
will pick up my son, will do his routine, and
then off to my DJ.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Gig, okay, which usually starts around.

Speaker 6 (02:50):
Ten o'clock, depending on what it is. If it's a wedding,
it'll be a lot earlier, like I'll leave at about noontime. Yeah,
but if it's like a club or something like that,
I don't have to be there until ten.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
And then on average, you're getting home at.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Between two thirty and three o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
And you're probably so revved up at that point because
you just were on like you're working.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Yep, you can't fall right to sleep.

Speaker 6 (03:18):
But you got to jump in the shower. Yeah, no, no, no,
I try not to eat that.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Okay, But yeah, you got a shower, and then you
get in your comfies and you might put the TV
on or get on your phone or something. What time
would you say you're following falling asleep?

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Actually probably about four o'clock.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Okay, and then we're up at seven to take our
son to school. So listen, I can. I'm not saying
I don't understand it. I get it because that schedule
is pretty tough. And by the way, let's just stop
down for a second and let Jewels pluck himself because
Jewels is an am amazing DJ. So if you're somebody
that's in the in the preliminary phase of hey, we're

(03:56):
planning a wedding, we're looking for a DJ, where could
they find you Jewels?

Speaker 6 (04:00):
Hit me up on Instagram at DJ j U l
E s F l A v A DJ Jewels slavor
hold on.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Ashley, and you guys won't have to call him that
at your wedding. I just want to You can call
him Julian, but I need you to say it.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
No, I'm not saying it.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Come on it.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Maybe maybe later, maybe maybe tomorrow on Friday when I'm
feeling good.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
So here's my thing.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
You're a single man, correct, correct, that's a tough schedule
to to like have a.

Speaker 6 (04:24):
Partner and do yes. So this is where me and
AJ differ. Aj is looking for love and I am not.
So if you know, if I meet somebody and they
understand what I'm doing, that's cool, right, But I'm not
trying to go there, and I'm not trying to convince
anybody to be with me because listen, you either get

(04:45):
it or you don't get it. And if you don't
get it, I understand because my schedule is hectic.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
It is, and you don't have a gig every day,
but the days you do, like, I'm hearing your schedule,
and if i'm if I, you know, a single gal,
I'm thinking, where do I fit in in that? Because yeah,
you might have from like lunch to early afternoon, but
the average person is working during that time, so it
would be hard for you to kind of give somebody

(05:10):
the time and the attention.

Speaker 6 (05:12):
Yep, and when they when they are off on the weekends,
I'm working, right, so you know, especially during the summertime,
I'm heavy with the weddings. So everybody's got Friday, Saturday, Sunday, off.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
And have you met anybody where you're like that. You
kind of thought there could be something, but the schedule
is what did it?

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Or you have other problems?

Speaker 6 (05:32):
No, it's the dirty room. Hold hold on, let me
let me clarify. It's not dirty, it's messy. I'm a
messy person. I'm not a dirty person.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Okay, if you had company coming over, would you feel
the need to clean?

Speaker 1 (05:47):
I would have this straighten up.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
You're now say, I don't know how we could change
the schedule for you. I mean, I think the sleeping
till noon, maybe we could cater that a little cater
to the late night.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
It's a little bit, but I get it. I mean
that's kind of hard. You can't. You can't really function
on three hours. I've tried.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
It's not but you can adjust your schedule because, like
you just talked about, you're not doing this like every
single day.

Speaker 6 (06:09):
No, but you know it's usually Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesdays
and Wednesdays. I am here kind of you know, weird
hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with DJ pub Dog. You know, Mondays.
Mondays are typically my day off to kind of like decompress,

(06:30):
you know, it would be my Saturday for you.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
What what does what does the man like DJ's jewels
do Monday when we have all the time in the
world to decompress. Are you on the journey too?

Speaker 6 (06:42):
No, I am not on the journey, even though now
I do have the tools to discover myself. Honestly, Wednesdays
are really my days to kind of do the stuff
that I really hate, like the DJ stuff I hate,
which is like sending emails. It's the business stuff that
I hate about DJing.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
So I am curious if if any females that are
single listening heard any of that and thought I want
to date that.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
Honestly, if I met a girl and she slept till
like eleven, like every day, I would be and I
would understand that her schedule something, But no, I'm good, like,
get out of bed, go do something.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
It I listen, I'm going to open the phone lines.
It's early. I don't know if if the girls are
going to fill.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Up to it.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
But ladies listening to Jules talk about his schedule in
his life, if you're somebody that's single, is this even doable?
Would this be something you would even want to entertain?
Try to ignore the fact that we know he's dirty.
Try to put that, Try to put that in the
back of your mind. We're talking scheduling here because a
lot of people listening right now work the overnight, so

(07:47):
technically an overnight nurse you could do Yeah six one seven, nine, three,
one one nine four five six one seven nine three
one one nine four five was.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Any of what you heard as a single woman appealing?

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Or will Jewels be using that double grinder tool for
the rest of his life. AJ always puts the mics
on early because she knows that I sing God if
we if we.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
Weren't up now we are. Remember Santy's in charge of
the buttons everybody, So God speed to you.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Because AJ is out and feigns out, Jewels is in
helping us out. Jewels, let me ask this question, would
you do this again for us? Or is this are
you like this schedule is not for me. I'm not helping.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
I'm having so much fun with you guys.

Speaker 6 (08:34):
Okay, I've been complaining all week about waking up early,
but I wouldn't wake up early for anything else.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
That's good. That's good to know. All right now, let
me get back to make him funny. Jeules, you know
he's working the morning schedule now, and he basically is like, Ash,
it's coming across like you and Santi think you're elitist,
Like you're better than me because you guys get up
at three something and I don't get up till eleven,
And that is a fact. I think I'm better than
anybody that can wait and get up at eleven or

(09:04):
twelve in the afternoon.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
What are you doing? And Santin and I were saying.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
We're single, we meet somebody and I shoot him a
text at like eight or nine am and he ends
up hitting me back saying, oh, sorry, I didn't get
up till noon.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
The hell? What are you doing? You know you know
this to be true. My mother and I used to bump.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
O, oh that's right, and correct me if I'm wrong.
Your mother used to look up at nine thirty and
that used to get you.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Right. My phone is on do not disturb and do
not hit notify anyway.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
You have a child, I'm telling you my mother used
to on the weekends sleep in till like nine to thirty.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
And I just couldn't fathom it. I was like, what
are you do? Your mom? Get up?

Speaker 3 (09:41):
Like, what are you doing? And now that I am
a mom, I still stand by that. How are you.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
Sleeping in till nine thirty? You don't had anything to do?
I thought nine thirty was bad. Okay, so eleven just
know that.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
That's a cry for help.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
Jules gave his schedule.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
He's a single man. Just to quickly surmise it. He
is dropping on his son around seven am. He's coming back,
he's taking off his shoes, he's crawling back into bed,
do not disturbing his phone till about eleven am or noon.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
He's up.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Then he's you know, maybe grabbing something to eat, showering,
getting ready for his work gig. He's gonna go to
his workig. He's gonna pick up his Oh you're gonna
pick up the kid, go to the workig and most
likely not getting home till two three am, going to sleep,
then doing it all again the next day. And I
I was just curious. In six one, seven, nine, three,
one four five for the single ladies listening, is this

(10:33):
schedule even appealing to you? Would you even entertain dating
someone like this? Claudia is an avon Claudia, it would
be tough. I don't know where we'd have Claudia time
if you dated Jules.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
But is it a turn off or turn on hearing
this schedule?

Speaker 2 (10:49):
I am a fifty year old single mom teacher. I
have no time, so I don't have time to date,
and I don't want someone who want me available every second.
I get my priority having someone who can have scheduled
you know, when we have time, we see each other,
someone to go weddings with, Cajo, a little weekend away

(11:10):
here and there, but not somebody who wants your every second.
That sounds fabulous.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
Wow, you know what, Claudia, Maybe I'm looking at this
from the wrong angle because you've.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
Sold me there. Okay, Well at DJ Jewles Flavor if
it must. Jade is in Townsend, Hijade.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
Hi coome warning, listen, babe, when you hear that schedule,
are you like, I'm all set?

Speaker 4 (11:35):
When's he gonna hang out with Jade?

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Honey?

Speaker 2 (11:40):
I am twenty eight years old, I am single. Let's
just be honest. All the good ones are taken at
this point. Oh, I have to take what it is
a broth out there, That's what I've heard.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
You know what, then then then you Jewels might be
for you. You're like, if he gets me even five minutes.
I'll take it.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
I agree with you, because it's like my friends are
telling me how tough it is out there.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
It's spooky, honey.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
The dating apps are like the Walmart Clear and Style.
At this point, it's the pace.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
That are there.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
I will buy it.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Yeah, you're like, if the expiration day is passed, I'll
still buy it and I'll lead it.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
I don't care, well do you? I mean, Jewels is
on the phone now, so we can we can chat
about him. Does he does he sound of interest to you?
Did you look him up on social media? Did he
look attractive? Like?

Speaker 4 (12:31):
What are your thoughts?

Speaker 2 (12:33):
I don't even know what he looks like.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
It doesn't matter. It's bad out there. You'll take anything else,
all right.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Jade, Well look him up at DJ Jewels Flava. We
you know, if you did data, we could work on
that Instagram handle.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
Yeah, it's fine.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
We can make them a little more grown up for you,
all right, Jade, thanks for the call. I I mean, listen,
I'm I'm shocked, like the ladies are are kind of
open to this.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Jewels.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
Just so you know, I got a DM from a
woman who said, quote, he doesn't have time to even
answer messages. I said, oh, damn, did you hit him up?
And he didn't respond? She goes, yes, he never responded
to me about a party I asked him to DJ.

Speaker 6 (13:09):
That actually sounds super correct. Hold on, what did I
tell you? Like the business part of DJing I suck
at like emailing back. I apologize that sounds right, because
then that's bad. No, it depends. It depends on who
it is. Like right now, I wish I could run

(13:32):
this over to you. I have two hundred and sixty
three on read text mess I.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Thought I.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Wanted to fight for you, but this is getting worse.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
Two hundred and sixty like, what are you doing?

Speaker 5 (13:45):
He's sleepy.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
Yeah,
