Speaker 1 (00:00):
Especially in the Jamie Morning Show with j Foreign and
Sauty when.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
You need to know, no, we got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
You haven't any more Vive Michael Scott a Man of
the People.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Thursday, March sixth, We're gonna kick it off with Steve Correll,
who's doing something amazing for so Cal and the wildfires
and all those people. You know, I know a lot
of people have moved on from it, but you can't
forget that they lost their lives out there in la
A lot of people, a lot of people have no homes,
(00:36):
had no clothes, had no memories, nothing.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
I'm actually one of the people who forgot about that
because like the things just move so fast. Yeah, well
onto the planes now. Yeah, and even that's kind of
like getting a little bit older.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
So I know, that's the That's why they always say,
like just wait for the next news cycle. To these
celebrities or whoever goes through something big and it makes
the news, it's like you're you're hot for a second.
But and it's a shame because what happened to these
people in La is just it's devastating. So I like
that Michael Scott aka Steve Corell his room name, still
(01:13):
trying to help out. He's going to hook up a
bunch of kids eight hundred plus with their PROMPT tickets.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
By attention to.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
All seniors, this is Steve Carell with a very special announcement.
I work with a wonderful charity based out of Virginia
called Alice's Kids. And Alice's Kids wanted me to let
you know that they will be paying for all of
your prom tickets. And if you have already paid for
your prom tickets, they will reimburse you for your prom tickets.
(01:40):
It's a pretty good deal. Have fun, enjoy the prom,
and remember this is Steve Carell.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Take it easy, guys. We remember it was fin Why
did we need the room?
Speaker 1 (01:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
And remember he's like when you go to prom, you
remember prom tickets in southern California are one hundred and
fifty dollars like what is like?
Speaker 3 (02:00):
What it? And then also too, you have to pay
for a hotel room as well if you do end
up doing that too, so that's like an expensive night.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Well I think that plus these proposals that people are doing, I.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Mean the dresses alone. Problem is not Yeah, it's not
as chill as you see.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Is like going to a wedding almost, yes, yes, because
you gotta you gotta prepare. Damn.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Like you go into a wedding and the dresses you
can't rent. You actually have to buy those, right, Oh
you can rent dresses, Okay, Yeah, you can do rent
the runway.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
There's a there's a bunch of different programs now I
don't know all of them, but you can rent dresses
and you could figure out a way.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
But it just seems like.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Prom has turned into a big like social media to do.
There's it's it's a bore. Now if you just say
to somebody, hey, do you want to go to a
problem with me, you have to like stand outside of
their house with like a massive poster or something.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
It always has to be a big thing.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
But I do like this because again, I just feel like,
you know, it's if you're not living it. A lot
of other people have, you know, people have their own
problems and they move on. So it's nice that he's
doing all right. Remember the anonymous woman who claimed jay
Z sexually assaulted her, Yeah, yeah, she is now claiming
this woman and by the way, enough that I don't
believe that this is true. But this woman has been
(03:13):
changed her story so many times it's like.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
What really is it?
Speaker 2 (03:18):
But a private investigator interviewed her and she told the
PI that it was all a concoction from Tony Busby,
that he pushed her to lie about jay Z assaulting
her in two thousand after that VMA's party. She said
he was the one that pushed me towards going forward
with jay Z. She said, at the end of the day,
(03:41):
jay Z was at the party, but did not take
a single part in any sexual assault against me.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
It was Tony Busby who concocted this whole tale. Tony
Busby seems so shady a lot he is, And and by.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
The way, I'm not again I'm not saying that that
this is a lie either, but this woman is also shady,
Like why would you go along with.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
That belief that she needs to be put in jail
or some kind of charges need to be brought against that.
We can't be claiming No, it's not right, not not
like this. I mean, I don't think you should be
accusing anybody of anything they haven't done, but rape, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
That nice stand with you on that's that's life ending.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
We find out that somebody did that to somebody, we
want them to die like it's worth.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
It's that aggressive.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
So if you think you can just make something like
that up against somebody and get away with it, it's
it's not right.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
And it's very clear.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
That Tony Busby has like a little vendetta there against
jay Z.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Something's up.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Something's up, But we know that jay Z is now
suing him, so we'll see how that one ends. Glerrilla
is going to be headlining and upcoming concert for the
NCAA Women's Final Four. The show is going to take
place on April fifth. It'll be in Tampa. It's free,
which is cool for the first five thousand people who arrive.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Glorilla told Billboard, I.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Can't wait to connect with my fans during one of
the most exciting times for women's sports. And I stand
with her on that statement. Women's sports really is exciting.
And if anybody has any time tomorrow afternoon, like we're
gearing up for March Madness. So a lot of the
conference tournaments are beginning, and my best friend is a
coach at LMU Loyo and Mary Mount in the LA Area.
(05:20):
Joe's gonna be on ESPN two tomorrow at like three
pm court.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
She's gonna be like on the core, right, Well she's
the coach, Well she's the coach, but she'll be in
there coaching and portant. Yeah with her little low pony
slipped back. I'm sure, but yeah, Joe will be on
TV tomorrow, ESPN two.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
But it's exciting times, obviously for women's sports, with men's
sports as well, there's there's nothing quite like March Madness.
March Madness is amazing because everybody's records go back to
zero to zero, zero and zero, and you play these
conference tournaments and you never know who's gonna be the underdog.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
So it's fun.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
And I think it's cool that Gloria is doing that
and that she noticed that. That's three things need to
know for Thursday March. The six talkbacks are another way
to utilize this show. We love it if you could call,
but not everybody can listen. From six to ten, we
get it so down the free iHeartRadio app put on
jam and once it's on, hit that little red microphone
and say what up.
