Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, everybody, Good morning. We are joined by Chantelle. I.
I gotta tell you this. So earlier in the show,
we were talking about the fact that I had a
woman write me and she said on Instagram and she
was like, I had the worst experience of my life
at Disney. And I said, I have never heard those
words come out of anybody's mouth. Why what happened. She's like, well,
I just told myself, I'm just going to go. I'm
(00:22):
gonna plan it, not going to look up lightning Leans,
I'm not going to you know, make a reservation. I'm
just going to go. And she had little kids with
her and she didn't plan. And I said, listen, hey,
you do a little planning, just a little bit, and
your experience is night and day. I plot when I
come here. It's beyond a plan. I know the parks.
(00:43):
I can close my eyes. I know where I'm headed.
Although I did yesterday I make the mistake of going
from Tron to Tiana's, which was at a workout. I
was just collapsed after ye Yeah, that wasn't my best plan.
But you know, you you help out with planning and
doing all the things. If you were if you heard
somebody say that what would be like your number one
pro tip to planning a Disney trip?
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Okay, So I feel like it's both though, because sometimes
those spontaneous trips where you go with you know, little
to no planning, can be fun, especially if you have
kids and you can use your kiddos to drive what
they want to do. You know, you pause or get
on their level and say, Okay, what do you want
to go do? What do you want to go see?
And what they'll come up with, I want to meet
a character, I want to go here, I want to
(01:24):
go that. It puts a spin on your trip and
you'll do things that you normally never have done or
haven't you know, experienced recently, and you can see all
the magic through them.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
So it's such a super point. I've never asked my
child wants what she wants to do? It sEH, this
is where we're going guys.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Yeah, no, I mean, and that's I think as a mom.
That's what's really changed our trips is I'm an overplanner.
I like to you know, have everything lined up, but
as they've gotten older, I've included them in the planning
and it's really changed our trips and made it even
more magical because you know, they feel in control and
it brings us all together.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Okay, Now, obviously when it comes to the parks here way,
time is a big topic of convos, right, But what
I love about it and when it comes up planning,
you can look on the app and you can see
what the wait times is. You can structure your day
based around what has the wait times, which one's a longer,
what lightning lanes can I use? And I love the
fact that the app has all this.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Stuff right, And that's what's also great about keeping that
openness in your planning and not over planning because then
you know, if you see an attraction wait time drop
down to, then you guys can head that way, you know,
mix up your plans a little bit, especially if, like
you mentioned, you walked all the way from tron to Tiana's.
But what if after Tron Buzz Lightyear, Yeah, was a
little bit less weight time and you if you have kids,
(02:34):
it's a perfect attraction to go experience. So definitely taking
advantage of that app and looking at the wait times
before you move.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
You know. Yeah, I myself also a planner. I don't
play games with the resis. I make sure I get
them before I go the three month mark. I have
my alarm set psychotic. What is the hardest reservation to
get at Disney? Is there one that sticks out? Like?
Speaker 2 (02:54):
I don't think it's necessarily hard, it's just you know,
personal favorites. Like my family, we really love Topolinos Terrace
for breakfast. You know, we do an early morning breakfast
and then take the skyliner over to Epcot or Hollywood Studios.
That's what starts our day. So it's not necessarily hard,
but it's my must do. So like you you know,
I sixty days out, got my alarm ready, and that's
(03:15):
the one I'm putting in the search bar.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
So I think it's you know, your pre personal preference.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Yes, okay, Guardians of the Galaxy. Yeah, that is a
plan in itself, and I keep telling her we get
a plan to go there because that ride is amazing.
Can you co sign this please?
Speaker 2 (03:29):
I love that, right I do?
Speaker 1 (03:30):
I really enjoy that your favorite ride?
Speaker 2 (03:33):
I don't think it's my favorite only because so my
favorite I think right now is I really like tron
I experienced it at night for the first time, but
my favorite changes all the time because Epcot's my favorite Park, So,
I mean, it's just I haven't been on Guardians of
the Galaxy this trip, so I think maybe once I
(03:55):
get off today, I'm gona be like, oh, yeah, that's
my favorite.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
I know, yeah, I understand that truly.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yeah it's great.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
I go og iconic rides like Tower of Terror is
my favorite. But you're right, I wait that one out. Yeah,
I can't.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Yes, I can't. I can't handle the drop. I cannot
handle the drop. Yes, my seven year old gets on
that and I wait at the exit.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
My three year old got on it and was less
scared than this grown man. Thank you so much. One
more last pro tip for somebody planning a Disney trip.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Oh pro tep for me? Absolutely Okay. I think if
if you get stuck us at planned Disney, we are
normal guests who love going to Disney, and we can
help you guide you in the direction, give you our
personal favorites like Jobolino's terraces, and just help out with
your planning.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Yeah, so definitely use a Disney pro I in just
like life period. Thank you so much for joining us
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Thank you for having me
