Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ashley and the jam In Morning Show with DJ fourn It's.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Morning Sautin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety
four or five.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
All right, burn Kaya.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
And Lowell said she can one hundred percent go tonight,
so we're good on that. We're wrapping this up with
a nice little bow.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Mary J. Blige, Neo Mario.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
DJ Pop Dog on the ones and twos, which I
know is not spinning, spinning.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
Right on the wheels of steel on the decks. That's
what they used to say, like back in the.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Day, is what's the cool thing to say for how should.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
I say on the tables, on the set.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
On the set, on the set. DJ Pop Dog will
be on the set tonight. If you go to the garden,
AJ will also be there. Maybe the gym guy will
be at this show tonight. God Willing.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
All right.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
It's not often that we get a talk back asking
for advice. I feel like usually people DM me, which
you can always do at Ashley Feldman tweez in the
Ashley and we can kind of help you that way.
But we got this talk back from a woman asking
for advice.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
It involves an X and all the juicy stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:02):
So I have a group of friends that I know
from a place of work. Now, some of these girls
still work there, some of us don't. And since I've left,
my ex has now apparently gone back to be a
client there. He wrote a review online, so it's public knowledge. However,
my friends have not told me about it, and I
found out via seeing the review online. Do we get
(01:26):
upset at the friends for being sneaky and not sharing
this information?
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Okay, so let's let's call let's let's make up a
name for it to make it easier.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Let's say it's a medspa.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Yeah, okay, so she works, she works at this medspa,
she goes on to a different place, doesn't work at
the medspa anymore. All of a sudden, her ex is like,
oh cool, she's gone. I'm going to go back to
the medspot. But her best friend works there, doesn't tell her, Hey,
your ex has been coming back for treatment.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
I don't think it's the best friend though. She said
her friends from a former place of work, So it
seems like there may be work.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Fine, maybe not best but clearly they have friends, to
the point where she feels like we could give it
the best friends as because she feels the type of
way that they're not telling her.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
There's a part of it that's very where the friend
and be like, hey, your ex boyfriend just came in again,
like just as a conversation piece. But I don't feel
like they are obligated to her to help her because
she doesn't work there.
Speaker 6 (02:16):
Because then because then even think about this, so what
happens if they say something he she then goes off
on him.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
He finds out that they told her that.
Speaker 6 (02:25):
Now she's going back to the business, being like, why
are you telling my business to other people outside of
the company.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yeah, like that alone. He's not trying to hook up
with nobody. He's not. He's going there to pay for services.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
But by fine, let's use here as an example. Then
the mother of your children is in here, You're gone.
I see her in the hallway, we have a little
chip chat. The next day you find out that she's here,
you're not gonna and.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
That she talks to me.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
You wouldn't be like, yo, Ash, why didn't you tell
me that you were in follow my ex? That's what
I follow my that's my friend. Yeah, I don't follow her.
I don't care what she posts you to me?
Speaker 3 (03:00):
What that specific, you would not care.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
I wouldn't care.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
There's also something the way she kind of sounds where
she seems like almost caught up in the ex boyfriend.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Stink thank you. I don't know he can't because I'm kind.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Of on the side where like, it would be strange
to me if one of my exes was here, like
came to the radio station and you guys knew and
you were like, oh and nobody told me.
Speaker 6 (03:23):
I would think that was I agree with her tone
is kind of like, oh, that's so messed up, like
like why would he even go back to where I
used to work at, Like he's not allowed to be
He stopped going there because you were there?
Speaker 2 (03:34):
I know, but I'm almost thinking it's like a female thing,
like a female code, like because the way you guys
are saying is very rational, it makes sense. But to me,
if my one of my good friends, like son you,
I would one of my exes rolled here and you
didn't tell me, I'd be like, oh, that's and not
because I have none of that.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
It's just strange to that point.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
I would tell you because I believe I really ship
is tighter than these ones are. That's what I think.
And I think that's probably why they didn't say anything there,
because she's not as tight as they think.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
But I don't know.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Would she be.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Saying it if they weren't. All right, I'm gonna play
it again because you guys hear this like tone and
that I maybe didn't pick up on. Let's listen to
it again.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
So I have a group of friends that I know
from a place of work. Now, some of these girls
still work there, some of us don't. And since I've left,
my ex has now apparently gone back to be a
client there. He wrote a review online, so it's public knowledge. However,
my friends have not told me about it, and I
found out via seeing the review online. Do we get
(04:41):
upset at the friends for being sneaky and not sharing
this information?
Speaker 7 (04:45):
Also, she's stalking from the review the review review she
fueled through the Google reviews, all of them found that
ex job, like leave everything?
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Why are you all okyon about everything? That's your ex?
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Seeing reviews is a little off putting to me, but
I still stand on. I would feel a type of way.
I would be like, what my acts here? Why didn't
you guys tell me? And again that could be like
I do you understand that though, and it has nothing
to do with anything other than me being.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Like, Okay, that's why are they at jammin?
Speaker 4 (05:18):
Yeah, but again, I think the radio station is a
tough comparison because it's a radio station. You can't just
walk a.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Service.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
So the question is you and your ex breakup, but
you still have friends at your old place of employment.
You're you find out that your ex is now going
there and none of your friends that work there have
reported to you.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Do you feel a type of way about that? I
feel like I would. Why didn't you tell me he
was in there for botox?
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five
six one seven nine three one one nine four five
Are they essentially breaking some sort of bro code?
Speaker 8 (05:55):
Hi?
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Everybody, good morning. It's actually in the jam Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
I just want to get something out of the way
really quick because it's pissing me off.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
We've been told by our boss and.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Like the higher ups that we have to play two
songs in between talking, which is fine because music is
important in the morning too. But we just had a
ton of callers that you guys had called it and
you were on hold and you hung up, and I
genuinely think people hang up because they're like, oh, they're
not coming to us, They're not going to use my
calls because you have to hold for so long. So
I just I'm asking you, if we put you on hold,
(06:26):
we are like ninety nine percent going to use your call,
and if we don't, we usually will get your number
and call you back at a different time. But we
have to play these two songs in between, and I
just hate it because I think people are like, well, damn,
they are using my call.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
I'm going to hang on.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
And we get spoken to about this pretty consistently because
what we start doing is we start like kind of
fading away, playing exactly one, and then again we get
talking to to.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
So it's so important, which I understand.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Yes, I'll look at the call screener and I'll see
a good call and I'll be like, f it, We're
just gonna do one song here because I'm too afraid
they're going to hang up. So if we put you
on hold again, try to stick it out, all right,
So we got this is the original talkback that we receive.
Speaker 5 (07:00):
So I have a group of friends that I know
from a place of work. Now some of these girls
still work there, some of us don't, and since I've left,
my ex has now apparently gone back to be a
client there. He wrote a review online, so it's public knowledge. However,
my friends have not told me about it, and I
found out via seeing the review online. Do we get
(07:24):
upset at the friends for being sneaky and not sharing
this information.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
I think it's like a girl code thing.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
I'm gonna be honest with you, guys, I do. I
do feel like if one of my friends, no matter what,
it could be an ex from high school. If my
high school bestie shout out to Emily shaw saw Brandon Whittington,
my ex from high school, out at the grocery store,
she would text me and be like, I ran into
Brandon today.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
It's like a girl thing.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
So I do understand what she's saying, Like, Oh, I
wonder why they never mentioned it to me.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Would you feel different if it was somebody that wasn't
a friend, like one of these girls in sales that
you know passively.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
No, I would not care. I would not care.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
But if it was someone that I considered to be
a good friend, it's Emily Shawl and she yes, I'm
feeling a type of way about that.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Diana is in Worcester.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Diana, you find out that one of your friends runs
into your ex doesn't say anything, do you do you
feel the type of way about it or it's whatever? No,
I personally could, like.
Speaker 6 (08:22):
I wouldn't care at all.
Speaker 9 (08:23):
I feel like most of my friends wouldn't tell me
because like they know I wouldn't care. Like once I
break up with someone, that's it right, Like I'm not.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
I'm definitely not.
Speaker 9 (08:30):
Going to be looking on Google reviews because like it
seems like she's like looking at her past job or
past boyfriend like looks forward.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
You know that I get it, And Diana, thank you
for the call.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
The Google review thing is weird, but I know for like,
my best friend's name is Jody.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
You've talked about her often.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
If Jodie found out that I ran into one of
her exes and didn't tell her would be a problem
because that I don't know.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
I don't what does she gain from them? Like what
what what? What? What revelation comes away?
Speaker 9 (08:59):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (08:59):
I bumped into soul so okay, and I I just don't.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Feel like I'm verbalizing it in the right way. But
it's just girl code. I'm telling you, I would too.
Victoria is in wu burns and out to the Wu Hi. Victoria, Like,
I just feel like I'm not articulating.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
This properly, but it is. It's like a girl code
type of thing.
Speaker 9 (09:21):
Yes, Like I thought that only the man would think
that friends should not mention that they seeing other women
calling and saying that for me sounds crazy. I know
if I saw one of my friend's exes at McDonald's,
I would text them in a minute.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
He was happy meal.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Yes, Victoria, I'm the same exact way, and thank you
for that. Now we did get some talkbacks. AJ is
gonna run through some of these for us.
Speaker 10 (09:50):
Ashley, you're one hunt.
Speaker 8 (09:54):
Right.
Speaker 10 (09:54):
It is girl code. They needed to be telling her
and they didn't for whatever reason. There's no confidentiality. Don't
start with that. They should have told her. Santine four
are not going to agree with you. I'm not saying
they're wrong. I'm just saying they're not going to agree
with you, because you're right.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
It is girl Yes, you're saying that, you guys.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
No, to be honest, you guys, what you were saying
is the mature one hundred percent thing.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
I get it. I'm not saying you guys are wrong
either she's your I stand with her, but it's girl code,
you know.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
You know.
Speaker 6 (10:24):
What it's given is that they met at the spot.
He met her there, they fell off, he dipped and
didn't come back. Because she says he returned as a client.
She leaves the job. He finds out because he loves
the spec goes over there and she's probably feeling like
those girls are not going to try to get with him,
and she's jealous about that and be like, oh, why
willan't you tell me that he's back.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
That's like reading too much into it again, not that
that's a great example.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
That's a great example.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
She just get If one of my friends went to
McDonald's and saul Zach one of my exes and didn't
tell me, it would be weird what I'm telling.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
You, Hey, Yo, Yeah, females are this.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah, we are guys nothing.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
But on the same token, I run into Jody's ex
Brin and I don't tell her.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
She's like, the hell you saw her at?
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Yes, and this is all all exes going.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Back, like all females, but this is like these are
my females, but this.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
Girl is also stocking on the reviews to that part
is not that part is weird husband, your car boyfriend?
Speaker 6 (11:28):
I get it one hundred percent. What he's like McDonald's
and he ordered a big literally, why who cares this?
Speaker 3 (11:35):
I'm like, I'm like sick. Hope he's getting fat? We
got another top back?
Speaker 8 (11:41):
Have we thought about the fact that every time it pauses,
every time, maybe this dude just wrote a review and
is not going back, Like I've gone to places that
I loved forgotten to write a good review or bad
I guess, and done it like weeks or months later.
Even maybe he's not going back. Maybe dude just wrote
(12:02):
a review.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
Also, are the fellows out here writing reviews? I mean,
that's nice.
Speaker 6 (12:07):
I write it's a small business or something like that.
I try to write a review to at least make
them up. If I have an amazing experience, I'm writing
that review. Absolutely we don't.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
We ran out of time. But either way, I just
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
Guys, I wish he was that thank you for getting
rid of so and so for.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
I actually hated her. I'll never come back to this.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Again, I'm not I'm not articulating it well, but but
but the ladies know you guys know what I'm talking
about and if you're not spelling the tea, but you're
not my friend.
