Mac & Joe Talk...On A Podcast

After two weeks off Mac & Joe are back!! Cinema-Con happened when we were gone and with it a number of new trailer drops. Another new trailer for the most anticipated film of the year (for Mac) Deadpool & Wolverine. We preview a busy May in both streaming & theatrical releases. What is Mac looking forward to Disney Parks announcing at D23?

Mac & Joe are back and give a comprehensive April preview!! Mac talks about all of the recent films he has seen, including Dev Patel's recent film, Monkey Man. Is Happy Gilmore 2  happening and Julia Garner is joining Marvel? Lastly, what is Universal planning in the UK?

Mac & Joe are back with new trailers from Tim Burton & Lucasfilm. Mac reviews Ghostbusters : Frozen Empire and early thoughts on "X-Men 97". Joe gives his unvarnished thoughts on Dune 2 and the pair rank the best sequels of all time. "Star Wars Nites" & "Pixar Fest" is coming to Disneyland & Disney California Adventure!!!

Mac & Joe are back and recap the Oscars and a massive night for Christopher Nolan & Oppenheimer. Sony is re-releasing all of its Spider-Man films & Universal finally announces a big sequel to one of its biggest animated films of all time. "Star Tours" continues to evolve with more and more sequences being added. 

Mac reviews the 13 film he saw at this years Cinequest Film Festival in Downtown San Jose, including films featuring Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller & Tim Blake Nelson.

Mac & Joe are back and the pair review Dune : Part Two!! James Gunn renames his Superman film & the pair look forward to Cinequest. Dreamworks Land in Universal Studios Orlando finally announces land specific details & Mac gives the final part of his history of Disney California Adventure. 

Mac & Joe give a huge March preview. Will Joe like anything besides Dude Part Two? We rank the films of Denis Villeneuve & Joe takes a virtual ride of what is called the worst Disney ride of all time, "Superstar Limo". Mac gives part 2 of the history of Disney California Adventure. 
 

Mac & Joe are back with the reveal of Marvel's first family cast, The Fantastic Four. Super Bowl Trailers!! Although, there's really only one big one worth getting into detail (and it involves the TVA). Plus, the pair review some recent film releases and give some recommendations for the first time in 2024. Finally, in a new three part series Mac goes over the history of Disney California Adventure. 

Mac & Joe are back and give their super bowl recap & thoughts, plus a very appropriate movie rankings segment. Disney had an investor call this past week, is Bob Iger turning the tide? Finally, a question about WDW's theme parks.

Mac & Joe are back and discuss Universal's bombshell news about its latest theme park in Florida, "Epic Universe!".  Mac reviews Argylle & the pair review Sam Rockwell's top 5 films. James Gunn cast his Supergirl & Netflix drops a 2024 tease. Cinequest is coming and tickets are on sale!! Plus, some incredibly sad news as we mourn the passing of Carl Weathers. 

Mac & Joe are back and the pair discuss the Oscar nominations Is Oppenheimer going to sweep? Is Ryan Gosling going to steal it from RDJ? Is The Holdovers an actual contender to dethrone Oppenheimer. Jon Stewart returns to "The Daily Show"!!! (kind of). A February preview includes a Christoper Nolan re-release. Plus, "The Haunted Mansion" at Disneyland is officially closed for refurbishments.

Mac & Joe are back for one final time in 2023. We look forward to what we are looking forward to in 2024, while also reflecting (and giving a highly anticipated) top 10 of 2023!!

Michael Caine retires at 90 years old with an incredible career on the screen & stage. The pair rank Michael Caine's top 10 performances.

Mac & Joe are back as we update the SAG-AFTRA strike & the Taylor Swift Era's Tour box office. An incredibly busy month full of both shows & films, including a number of high profile Oscar hopefuls. Mac previews his trip to Southern California. 

Mac & Joe are back and deliver a questionable(?) top 5 horror movies to kick off October.  Disney's Animal Kingdom is getting a big change.  Plus Mac reviews some recent shows out there, including Ahsoka. 

Mac & Joe review Gareth Edwards The Creator. Are sci-fi films still popular? The pair rank their top 10 sci-fi films. The writers strike is officially over....but the actors are still on strike.  "The Office" is getting rebooted?
