Sometimes we may find ourselves with scars God never intended for us to have. When we choose to self-medicate the wounds God wants us to surrender to Him to repair, we delay the healing process. When God steps in, He removes the bandages from injuries that require surgery. Access to the pain requires addressing the trauma, the triggers, and the past we tried to leave behind. Thankfully, the purpose behind the healing process is to see God work as a Restorer and a Redeemer within our lives so we are a living testimony of His Power!

Verses Mentioned:

  • Methods of Healing (Mark 5:21-43)
  • God uses your testimony (Luke 5:4-11 and Matt. 14:22-33)
  • God uses your triggers (Luke 22:54-62 and John 21:7-11)
  • Charcoal Fire, “anthrakia” - (John 18:18 and John 21:9)
  • Healing requires facing the offense (Matt 5:23-24, 6:14-15)
  • Purpose of Painful Process Towards Healing (Joel 2:25)
