/🎓 Christoph Burgmer in conversation with Art Spiegelman. Art Spiegelman (born 1948) is an illustrator/cartoonist whose ‘Maus. A Survivor's tale’ reached millions of copies and was translated into numerous languages. His comics were still censored in the USA - Tennessee in 2022. In 2025, Art Spiegelman, a non-practising Jew and neither pro- nor anti-Zionist, published a three-page story together with comic artist Joe Sacco entitled ‘Never Again and Again’ about Israel's war of aggression in Gaza. In the interview, Art Spiegelman talks about Oliver Wendell Harrington, one of the founders of the African-American cartoon.
