Congratulations to junior Digital Art andMedia Students Seph Horton and Alejandra Martinez
who participated in a recycling contest sponsoredby Keep Brazos Beautiful and Arts Council
of the Brazos Valley.
The students placed second overall and receivedbest concept award.

They created a work of art reflecting focusingon the pollution of the oceans and the damage
caused to sea life.
Everything on the art work had to be recycledmaterials.
The National Honor Society will have a profitshare today from 5 to 7 at Blaze Pizza.
Come out and support NHS.
Photo Texas Photography will be back on campusDecember 8th and 9th to take pictures of seniors

There will be a Norsedragon's meeting on Thursday,December 8 from 4:15-5:30 in room 6160.

Students can bring their own minifigs to paintor purchase one from the club for $1.
Paint and paint brushes will be provided.
The 2023 yearbooks can be purchased now bygoing to www.balfour.com.
The yearbooks are $65 through March 31st.
On April 1st books will increase to $75 soorder now to take advantage of that savings.

Information about senior ads will be distributedin January.
Local scholarships opened on December 1.

Key Club will host a holiday meeting withsnacks and drinks on Thursday, December 8th
after school in room 1200.
After the meeting they will make holiday cardsfor Crestview Retirement Home.
If you would like to participate in an actof philanthropy this week, VKOT will be ringing
the bell for the Salvation Army.
The high school organizations Kettle RingOff is this Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm.

Vikings Kicking Out Tobacco is participatingin the Jingle Bell Jump for Charity event

There will be fun team, tournament, and individualcompetitions to win Christmas prizes.
Tournaments will include dodge ball, slamdunk, rock climbing, bull riding, and more.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at thedoor.
