I am Reily Dominy and I am Samantha Lamb andthis is Bryan High Norseman Broadcasting.
The next Lunch ‘N’ Learn is scheduledfor Thursday, January 19 during all three
lunches.
Students will hear a presentation on sharksas a keystone species in ocean ecosystems.
The Health Science Department will be hostinga blood drive on January 19th in the blue

commons.
Students and staff can donate blood to helpthe Brazos Valley Save Lives program.
Students who are 16 need a parent permissionform that can be found outside room 5215.
Students 17 and older do not need parentalpermission.
Staff will be put at the front of the line.
Students who sign up will be pulled from classby student volunteers at the time of their

VKOT is recruiting members for the springsemester this week.
If students are interested in making a differencein the lives of others they are encouraged
to stop by room 3129 or 3127 to pick up anapplication.
The Floral Department will be accepting preordersfor Valentine's flowers beginning January
19th.

Orders can be placed by scanning the QR codeon any of the Valentine's posters around the
school or students can stop by the FloralShop in room 6142.
The last day to preorder is February 1st andthen they will be selling a limited number
of flowers in the cafeteria on February 10th,13th, and 14th.
They accept cash or card.

The baseball team will host tryouts for athletescurrently in the off-season on Friday, January
20th at 4:30.
Tryouts for athletes currently in-season willtake place on Saturday, January 21st at 9:00.
There will not be any make-up try-outs.
The SAT School Day is coming up on March 1.
This is free for all juniors.

The ACT School Day is scheduled for March28.
The cost is $40 and students must registerusing the QR code here.
All seniors should check their school emailfor a message from Mrs. Faldyn about local
scholarships.
In her email, students will find the BISDcommon scholarship application as well as
a link with a list of all scholarships available.

Students should complete their common applicationas soon as possible and get teacher recommendation
forms out.
Once students have submitted their BISD commonscholarship application to Mrs. Faldyn in
the Go Center, they will fill out a requestform listing all the scholarships they want
to apply for.
The deadline to submit is February 27th.

The Criminal Justice classes will host a fundraiserat Grand Station on January 24th from 5-8.
Wristbands will be sold between 5-7pm for$15 and include unlimited laser tag and mini
golf as well as 1-time play.
The tennis team is looking for new players,no experience necessary!
