Pastor Chris begins the sermon with the calling of Mathew to follow Jesus in Mark 2:13-17. Then he continues with Jesus being questioned about fasting in Mark 2:18-22. He wants us to understand that we should not question God with "why." Instead we must trust God and do as he calls for us.
Chris First recaps over the last few sermons and the proceeds to push for growth in three aspects: Discipleship, Eldership, and Culture of Ministry. The goals we have are to Restructure the eldership, Reaffirm Ministry culture, and Increase Discipleship. The start for all of this would be to make changes to the barn to increase its capacity for the children's ministry.
