“Not the worst thing Christopher Cain has produced”
The Panel of Peril are rootin’. They’re also prone to a little bit of tootin’. Put ‘em together, and we got ourselves a rootin’ tootin’ good time as we watch this week’s film, Young Guns (Christopher Cain, 1988).
Loosely based on the adventures of Billy The Kid (Emilio Estevez) - and featuring fellow Brat Pack alumni Charlie Sheen, Lou Diamond Phillips and Kiefer Sutherland - the boys, and father figure John Tunstall (Terence Stamp) try to prevent the stealing of their bovine property by beef baron Murphy (Jack Palance) roots and toots along to stir up trouble.

********PLOT SPOILER ALERT********
That’s right: he whacks him all the way off (this mortal coil). The guns of youth don't like it and vow revenge, becoming Deputies. Which eventually leads to a final shootout, holed up in their lawyer’s house. Or such like. Heeeeeh doggy, it’s a rootin’ tootin’ good time, ya hear?
Did the panel enjoy this week’s cinematic serving? Could they find a way to improve Murphy’s villainous plan? And who will be named this week’s most diabolical (person/podcast((er)))?
