Our Circle thinks they are out of danger now that the nephwrack and his warstrider are out of the picture. Thanks to the Hearteater showing up, they are wrong. Now they have to stop the entirety of the Daedi from being mind controlled, all while trying to get to Champoor on time to find the missing Night Caste.
In the midst of all this, Atom duels his most potent foe yet: embezzlement! Gavel runs a marathon and beats up her own troops! Lythander tells some terrible jokes and has to explain why mind control is, in fact, evil! All this before even getting to what the gang discovers on the outskirts of Champoor! And, to think, this was supposed to be a chill, breather episode!
