Ep. 15 Your dad was an asshole, alcoholic, abuser or just not around to teach you how to be a good man right? So it's up to us the be the change we wish to see in the next generation of fathers. I was surrounded by men who were a waste of time, women who blocked the teaching of fatherhood, and people who were more excited to see a stranger than me. I realized I needed to learn how to be patient with my children, treasure them, protect them from emotional and mental harm, and always be real with them.  In this episode, you will learn the following: 1. How can you be the dad you wish you had without a good example? 2. What does it take for fathers who are not in the home to create a balanced family for their children? 3. What can we do to overcome the pain of our own past trauma in order to be a better father?   RESOURCES Incarcerated Fathers Statistics  63% of federal inmates reported having minor children. 50% of those inmates are black men.
