Fulfilling Life Daily Devotional

A demon possessed girl shout at St Paul and others as they we going to pray. This happened daily until Paul got frustrated with her and cast the demon out! This led to being put in prison but the jailer coming to faith! We just do know what might happen but we need to trust God daily.

We are called to proclaim the gospel but we are also called to heal people as well as help them. This all leads to God and it should never become about us!

At the very start of his letter to the Galatians, St Paul told that that his authority to do what he was doing had come from God and not from humans. We need to say the same when we are called by God to further His kingdom.

We need to pray for our fellow Christians in all that they do and if we are familiar with their endeavours, pray specifically with all of our unique knowledge.

When the Pharisee's tried to catch Jesus out He taught them and us the two great commandments. The first one is to love God with all of our being. Are you doing this or are you holding back?

So many people have said 'I swear on my mother's life', which is a big thing to say! Reuben said something similar to his father Jacob, who couldn't accept his words. The only words that are trustworthy are the words of Jesus!

Whatever the circumstances of life, we will never be abandoned by God. Never forget this!

The writer of Proverbs tells us that receiving an inheritance early on in live will not be a blessing by the end. Money can so easily take us away from the struggles we grow from and from God Himself!

The poor will always be frustrated by the plans of the wicked but the good news that they have is that God will protect them.

We need to not to act thoughtlessly when understanding what the future might be for us but to go to God to understand what he wants us to do for His glory!

How great is our Lord! These are words written by the psalmist declaring some of who God is. We must praise God not only to others but to remind ourselves daily who He is!

Jesus spoke with the Samaritan woman about living water, which was the Holy Spirit. A gift which is free to all those who accept it. Have you accepted it?

Jesus tells a parable of a woman in an unjust situation persistently going to an unjust judge until he takes action. How much more will God help us if we persist to Him in prayer!

When we ask God to use us for His glory, we then need to be obedient to what He tells us to do. We can't decide to we don't want to do it and do our own thing. We will flourish when we follow His path and not our own! 

When Jesus returns, everyone will bow their knee to him, whether they believe in Him or not. We either choose to know Him or not. These are the only two options.

Mary and Joseph were very faithful to God, travelling every year to Jerusalem for the Passover Festival with Jesus, as well as worshipping God daily. How often do you worship God and what example are you setting for your children? 

The Holy Spirit tells us that people will turn away from the faith. So we should not be surprised when this happens, but we will be sad because they are being deceived by evil spirits.
