Welcome to this month’s Tuesday Tea Amya Tulipe Hosenn! Tulipe works in the world of creative development and production for feature-length studio films at MACRO Films. A graduate of Syracuse University and Bengali by background, she has traveled extensively with her international doctor mother, picked up a few languages, and never quite knows which one will come out when she’s tired—especially after watching a movie she believes never should have been made. In her spare time, Tulipe enjoys bookstores (she's a huge Jane Austen and Agatha Christie stan), dinner parties, playing tennis, convincing herself that "artisanal garnishes" at Michelin-starred restaurants are worth the price, teaching Shakespeare and atoms to school kids, blogging about literature and productivity, and taming her need for speed. After starting her career at Disney, HBO, and Netflix, she’s now at MACRO Film Studios.
