Langvarigt pres, konstante beslutninger, møder uden pauser og en kalender der ligner en Tetris-skærm med præstationsangst. Vi taler om kroppen som lederen bærer…
Kroppen betaler regningen før hovedet opdager det. For moderne ledere er det ikke nok at “klare den”. De skal holde til det.
Fysisk trivsel er ikke en luksus, det er vedligeholdelse. Det handler om at løsne op for spændinger i muskler og led, aktivere kroppens cirkulation og give nervesystemet mulighed for at skifte fra overlevelse til balance.
Nogengange er det nødvendigt at resete kroppen, der er vant til at være i konstant alarmberedskab.
Når kroppen får ro til at trække vejret, følger hjernen med. Når spændinger slipper, genfindes nærværet. Og når kroppen fungerer som en ressource – ikke bare som en transportmekanisme for hovedet – bliver ledelse pludselig noget andet: mere fokuseret, mere balanceret, og langt mere bæredygtig.
Men det ved vi da godt.
I teorien elsker vi tanken om det hele menneske: lederen, der er i balance, nærværende, autentisk og i kontakt med både sine styrker og sine grænser. I praksis er det ofte den modsatte model, der dominerer: hovedet foran kroppen, tempo foran tilstand, præstation foran proces.
Mennesket bliver filtreret gennem KPI’er og kalenderstyring, og tilbage står en funktion – ikke et individ. Kroppen, følelserne og det fysiske nærvær bliver reduceret til noget, der først kaldes ind, når systemet fejler. Først når stressen rammer, eller sygdom tvinger pausen igennem, begynder man at tale om "trivsel".
