Before we can get to the October 1987 SNME card we have to take in the greatness of the summer of 1987. In the post WM III glow we see the intro of several new wrestlers. We follow the Dragon's short lived IC title run, catch a great match between Tito and Butch Reed, a rare syndicated TV match by Hogan and of course that fateful morning that we saw Steamboat defend against the Honky Tonk Man!

This show wraps up the set up and gets us to the big card next week.

We've got some great action from the Spectrum but the real meat of the show comes in the form of the Frank Tunney Sr. Memorial Cup Tag Team Tournament from March 15th, 1987 in Toronto.
