Afterdark represents one of the purest expressions of who I am as an artist; the embodiment of “Dark Markus.” Inspired by the late-night portions of my open-to-close solo sets and the Down the Rabbit Hole club experiences, it captures those hours when the dancefloor transforms into something deeper, more hypnotic, and spiritual.
Every transition across this four-hour journey was carefully crafted; each movement and tempo shift designed to evolve naturally, guiding you deeper into the shadows. From driving energy to haunting melody, Afterdark 2025 is a continuous story told through sound, where no moment stands alone and every passage leads to the next.
This is music for the night people; the ones who understand that when words fade, flow is everything. It's the 11th year of doing this, and I hope you enjoy it as much as ever.
