צעדים קטנים היא עמותה שהוקמה על ידי הורים לילדים החולים במחלות ניוון שרירים מסוג דושן־בקר - מחלות גנטיות הגורמות לאובדן הדרגתי של כוח שרירי השלד והלב. טלי קפלן מנכ"לית העמותה כיום, ובן זוגה הקימו את העמותה בגלל שבנם הצעיר אובחן והם הבינו שאם הם לא יקומו ויקחו את הדברים בידיים, יהיה הרבה יותר קשה לשפר את איכות חייו של הילד שלהם ושל עוד הרבה אחרים. על שיתוף, למידה, כבוד, צניעות מחקר ועשיה מדהימה בראיון.
