Today I had the opportunity to catch up with my beautiful friend Alanah who I met a number of years ago when we were both educators at our previous workplace. Alanah is a teacher who moved rurally to the small country town of Mt Isa back in 2020 to kick-start her teaching career. We spoke about her experience of packing up her life and moving rurally to pursue her career. Alanah shared a little bit about what it was like teaching as a new graduate in a small country town. We also spoke about her upcoming travel plans and where her teaching career might take her!
