However, the episode's events spiral into Hub and Cade tracking down a water-manipulating demon (Marphos) who has possessed Deirdre Donovan, a social media star. Hub uses Cade as a decoy to escape the local sheriff, leading to Cade's arrest and a family argument about Lucky and an upcoming trip to Nashville. |

Deputy Sheriff Briggs is possessed by the demon Erdos and extorts a food truck owner. Hub, while reminiscing about his past music career, learns of the possession and tracks down Briggs/Erdos. Meanwhile, Kitty plants evidence against Lucky, almost getting caught by Maryanne, who eventually helps Maryanne reconnect with Hub. Hub confronts the demon, and they both fight Briggs/Erdos, who ritualistically murders a hardware store assistant before immolating. Hub and Maryanne kill Erdos, and Hub reveals his demonic job and Lucky's attempt on his life.
