(00:00):
Hey sister, welcome to the war on weight. Do you want to find the motivation
to finally lose that extra weight?
Do you want to feel great in your favorite pair of jeans?
Do you want some weight loss that is actually sustainable?
Do you want to feel good about how you're treating your good body?
Have you given up that any program will ever work for you?

(00:21):
Hi, I'm Keetha and I'm your new best friend.
I've spent a lifetime on the losing side of this battle. I know what it feels
like to be confused as to which food plan to follow, how to exercise in a way
that honors my good body.
I know what it feels like to feel prisoner to food and emotional eating and
still not be able to see how God fits into it all.

(00:41):
I felt frustrated, exhausted, self-conscious, and despite any success I had
in life, I felt like a failure.
But I've won the war. How did I do it?
I discovered how to implement simple healthy habits, how to revamp my mindset,
and how to embrace some of the things that were causing me to turn to food over and over again.
Lastly, I discovered how to make nutrition super simple. And after a few short

(01:04):
months of fueling my body properly, I dropped more than 50 pounds as a daughter
of the king, and I'm maintaining it by all the healthy habits you're going to learn on this podcast.
So if you're tired of feeling like a prisoner in your own body,
you're buying clothes to hide your body, you're done with having your weight
affect all the relationships,
in your life with God, others, and mainly yourself, you no longer want to eat

(01:25):
your feelings and then beat yourself up about it, and you're ready to allow
Jesus to take charge of every part of your life, including your food and your
movement, then this is the podcast for you.
Let's armor up, sister, and fight this war on weight together.
Music.

(01:48):
Did you hear the new intro music?
Oh yeah, me too. I heard it. I heard it. I'm so excited.
I promised you a much lighter episode this time and you got it.
If you've been listening or following me on social media, you're seeing a shift.
So here's the deal. There's no secret that a year ago my world was rocked. It kind of fell apart.

(02:11):
The enemy got all in my head. I stayed real low key.
I slowly backed away from my business. I slowly withdrew from all my friends.
I slowly retreated into the darkest places of my mind again.
I entered into a bend storm like I had not seen in four years.
The enemy thought he had won. He thought he'd finally shut me up.

(02:32):
But it really just took a few months, okay, a year, for me to find my way back.
But as I'm coming back, I'm coming back a new person. I'm coming back.
I am healthy and whole. I'm coming back not just as a coach sprinkled with a
little Jesus in the business, but bold, fierce, and fiery.
I can now say without a shadow of a doubt, you can win your war on weight.

(02:57):
I wish I could tell you it gets easier, but it doesn't, but it does.
We just have to keep contending for our own health and keep fighting our own battle. all.
When I look back over this last year, I look at it now as just another experience
that gives me more empathy and more understanding for my clients.

(03:18):
As I walk through this year, I've gained more knowledge and more experience
as a coach and in my own health.
I learned more triggers for myself.
I've gotten more skills and more tools that I know how to reach out.
I've just learned so much. I'm actually in another certification program right

(03:40):
now through with Revelation Wellness.
In a couple more months, I'm going to be a certified Live Well coach.
And I must say this again for those girlies in the back, because this is probably,
you're probably thinking this right now, but you've probably already heard it from me.
If you and I don't share the same faith and you're still listening,
you know, I'll always treat you with love, kindness and respect as we we work

(04:02):
together, always respecting each other's beliefs and respecting the person that you are.
And we're just going to work on winning the war you have with your health and with the scale.
So the song you heard at the beginning is called Battle Cry by Nina Landis.

(04:24):
Pick this song because of its words.
I belong to the Lord and I will not be moved. I belong to the King of Kings.
And I will not be shaken. So you see, even after being a Christian my entire
life, I was moved, and I was shaken, and I was rattled to the core.
I didn't have Jesus at the center of my business. I had some things in my life

(04:48):
that weren't lined up to my beliefs.
I shrunk back in my faith in a lot of circles, especially if I didn't think
people liked me or wouldn't approve.
I would play down my faith with clients who didn't share my same beliefs.
And my little podcast and my business was sprinkled with Jesus,
but it was just clearly an appetizer for the enemy.

(05:10):
But he forgot he doesn't win. so for
now and starting today we are bold fierce and fiery on the war on weight podcast
no more shrinking back so here's our battle cry let's take a listen to the song
by Nina Landis and when it's over come on back because we're going to talk a little bit more.

(05:32):
Music.
And I belong to the Lord, and I will not be moved.
And I belong to the King of Kings, and I will not be shaken.

(05:52):
Oh, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
Music.
Jesus, no weapon formed against me, no weapon at all Will boast itself against me,
no weapon at all Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,

(06:20):
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus I belong to the Lord and I will not be moved I belong to
the King of Kings And I will not be shaken No,
I belong to the Lord And I will not be moved I belong to the King of Kings And

(06:43):
I will not be shaken No, Jesus,
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Jesus,
Jesus Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus No weapon formed against me,

(07:09):
no weapon at all Will boast itself against me,
no weapon at all.
Music.

(08:32):
And I belong to the King of Kings, and I will not be shaken Oh,
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
Music.
No weapon formed against me, no weapon at all Will boast itself against me,

(08:55):
no weapon at all Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus I belong
to the Lord and I will not
be moved I belong to the King of Kings and I will not be shaken I belong to

(09:21):
the Lord and I will not be moved I belong to the king of kings And I will not be shaken Jesus,
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Jesus,

(09:49):
Jesus You have been formed against me No weapon at all will boast itself against me.
Music.
Make you get up, do some kickboxing, or grab some drumsticks and beat the heck out of something.

(10:18):
You better check your pulse, girl.
The next time you think about going for that unhealthy thing in your life,
whatever it is, whether it's food or spending or alcohol or drugs,
a person, place, or thing, I want you to turn on this song and I want you to dance your heart out.

(10:39):
And then decide, do you want that?
I cannot thank you enough, Nina, for allowing me to use your song.
Y'all please go to iTunes or Spotify and download the song.
Nina and her husband also do the live worship at the Rev on the Roads.
So if you happen to attend one of those events, you make sure you tell her you

and even the Rev on the Road schedule all in the show notes.
