Welcome to this week’s episode of To Help You Heal. I’m so glad you’re here.
Today, I want to talk about something that comes up so often in my conversations with women—your story. Many times, women come up to me after I speak and they begin by saying, “My story isn’t quite like yours…” and I always pause them right there. Because it’s not about comparison—it’s about connection.
We all have a story. It doesn’t have to be finished or perfect. It doesn’t even have to make sense. But there are pieces of it that someone else desperately needs to hear. Sharing your story, even just a part of it, can be the very thing that helps someone else find hope, healing, or simply the strength to keep going.
In this episode, I talk about:
Why your story matters, no matter what it looks like
How vulnerability creates connection, not shame
The healing power of sharing—even when it’s not the “whole” story
How God uses our pain to create powerful moments of purpose
Encouragement to share just one piece of your journey with someone who needs it
I leave you with this question: Who needs to hear a piece of your story this week?
Remember, it doesn’t have to be the whole thing. Just the part you know you're meant to share. I hope you’ll find the courage to do that—and I’d love to hear how it goes. You can email me anytime at marie@mariemonville.com.
Thanks for spending this time with me. Come back next week as we continue exploring how our stories bring healing.
