This week, I reflect on the mindset of ultra-athletes and how their resilience can teach us about the power of perseverance. I discuss the privilege of being able to push our physical limits, especially when we consider those who have faced life-threatening illnesses. The mantra "this too shall pass" resonates deeply with me, reminding us that pain is temporary and can lead to growth.

Throughout the episode, I draw parallels between previous guests who have faced their own adversities and I highlight conversations I’ve had previously with remarkable individuals who have used their adversity to fuel their athletic pursuits, emphasising the theme of post-traumatic growth.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
