כשאנחנו מסרבים לאכול משהו מתוק ומנחם- זה ילווה בתחושת אי נוחות שיכולה להתפרש ככאב וסבל.
כי ככה אנחנו מתוכנתים, לחוות חוסר נוחות כשמשהו שהוא מנוגד לצורך האבולציוני שלנו לשרוד. אכילה זה הדבר הכי חשוב שהגוף דוחף לו, אבל כשיש יותר מידי זה כבר מתחיל לפגוע בנו.
אז בואו נדבר על כאב
כאב זו תחושת אי-נוחות עד סבל, שיכולה להעיד על פגיעה אפשרית ברקמות הגוף. לפי האגודה הבינלאומית למחקר כאב, כאב מוגדר כ"תחושה וחוויה נפשית לא נעימה הקשורה בנזק אפשרי או ממשי לרקמה".
כאב יכול להיות פיזי או רגשי, נראה לעין, או חבוי
הכאב נועד לשמש כאות אזהרה לגוף שמשהו לא תקין, להימנע מנזק נוסף והחלמה. כאב יכול להפוך לכרוני ולהוות בעיה בפני עצמה ואז הוא מתחיל לפגוע באיכות החיים של האדם.
