Movers and Shakers - Beth Richards

Beth Richards traces her love of local food back to her Dad’s huge garden and her early days of peddling vegetables from her bicycle basket. After more than 25 years working in the arts and public health nonprofits as a fundraising and marketing executive, she set out to create Local Baskit – a unique small business in Concord providing locally sourced meal kits, craft beer and wine, educational programs and a small cafe and provisions from local farms and food artisans. Their meal kits consist of a variety of options including vegetarian and pescatarian as well as paleo, dairy-free and vegan options. Local Baskit is a wonderful meal option during these times of COVID-19.
