play it. It seems like a little more puzzles than
God of War. But still with that, with that, she

There's some Easter eggs that connects it to the movies

like Wolf and Sign kind of had the same effect,
where the first one that came out was good, but
it's wolfings signed the new classes that like took over

We just we've also randomly stumbled in out and to
no purpose at all.

were separating. I guess because it was so big.

where her and the dog are best friends.

I once I took her and brought it down here

where the cat is, and I had to defuse that
situ waiting because the cat it's like, dude, back up

So they don't get along or just it's just because

The cat has emotional issues. We think that she came
from like a home where there was a lot of
kids the time around her, and she's just like she

was doing all that I have. I have happened upon

another Assassin chain recently Assassin's Creed Odyssey and honestly Assassin's
Creed Shadows to kill a bunch of pirates. It's kind
of fun.

They were all in the same area, so it was
like like this cold basically had a sneak in first,
all the all the other pirates. They have to kill
the big pirates. It's kind of fun. So I'm still
having fun my assas Assassin's Creed Shadows of course watch
and or Man. Man, Yeah, that's great. Man. I'm still
going through four seasons the new show on Netflix. And

I realized why it's called four season. I didn't realize
that it takes place in the.

Right now, I'm in fall, so I'm in the middle

but everyone else just like dumb and it's like the
main nurse and I'm like, she should be doing this either, Hell,

I feel like she's kind of like what yeah, Amy
Pohler was when they're trying to make Amy Polar the
star of Parks and rec but then he realized they
have a great ensemble cast around him and he's built
around everybody. I feel like that definitely to do what
in the next season, like still the user as an anchor,
but well only other people around her as well.

I think it's been renewed for like two seasons, but
so hopefully it does go the more superstore, you know,

Yeah, so good. If you're still watching broadcast TV and
you're the one like eight o'clock it's on, man, good

Would say it turns medical shows. If the choice the

I watched very depressive show. I'm just say it was
funny because I saw a list on TikTok that was like,

about a trailer that took the world by storm, because
on Monday we talked about how a certain video game
was delayed until May twenty six, twenty twenty six. Well,
apparently Rockstar in two K said we're seeing our stock plumbing.

It's second trailer release. The trailer reason we need it now,
get rid of it hurry. So we've learned our lesson
from the last time we talked about this, the first trailer.

GTA is probably a good example of why there are
streamer modes now in video games when you stream things
on Twitch. So we're gonna play the trailer in the

not gonna do a typical watch. It's gonna be on
the background talk about certain things. My gosh, your daughter

did you think about this this second trailer? Does it
entice you more? Are you excited for your GTA or
you're like that is what it is?

It tics to me a lot more because what it
I was curious in the first trailer was that was
that a trailer or was that going to be what
the game looks like? And there's a part of this
game in this trailer where in the beginning he's talking
to that I guess his name is Brian think his
name was in the in the trailer about like fixing
some houses or something like that, and then he turns

around and walks into the house. I think at that
point when he turns around walks, that's that's where the
game starts.

Yeah, which means that's what the games that's gameplay right there, baby.

So this is all gameplay footge And I'm just like,
oh my god, what are other game is gonna do? Now?
They don't look like this because this is basically Cyberpunk
on Acid.

It looked so good, so which I kind of want
to give Cyberpunk the old college try again. Just like
people are like it's the best game now, Like it
wasn't like five years ago, but now they're saying it is.
But we have a year for Cyberpunk to still stay
in Stuffy before this comes out.

Now, I've been hearing a lot about that, and I'm
just I got as far in cyberpunk as you had to.
It was kind of like the Batman part where you
had to like rebuild a crime scene. That's what that.
There was like a shootout somewhere nearby as far as
I got because there was so many buttons. That's so
many buttons, it's too much, not like seam but every

But yeah, I mean the cool thing is this. The
trailer which you can see we also have tweeted out

This trailer is definitely going for. It is very whereas

Yeah, so he's a cop and his girl. That's kind
of a reverse fast and the theorious kind of like
you basically make either Dom or Brian a girl kind
of you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Yeah, I mean, here's the thing in the trailer. I
think it's just literally just happening right now. The prison
guards like, I've seen you here before right now. That
might be me reading into it, but might be like,
hm hmm, maybe we saw you in training, or I
saw you in the precinct. Maybe you're a crook gone
right or whatever, gone police turn your stuff in.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
And it kind of makes sense too, because in this game,
it looks like their antics are gonna have them social
media famous, and why wouldn't maybe arrested very quickly.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
If the track you damn it can protect you from this.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
So I like that theory, though My theory is it's
more of like, I think the stuff you can be
able to do in this game, but it's gonna be
like last game it was like, you know, oh you
can go play golf, you could.

Close your car, can go racing and go parachuting. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Yeah, this one, I think that it's gonna be like
you can have a job and just work.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Yeah. And you know, in this trailer is mostly is
just the story. I mean there's some setting too, but
like this isn't even online, so like this is just
like the base and what you could do in GTA
five was a little bit different than what you could
do on GTA Online two degree. So like it'll be
interest see how you know, maybe six months from now
when they gave us the online trailer, what that looks

like like. But the game looks great. I mean you
can see sweat beads off beer bottles, which is cool,
humidity in Florida, you know.

Yeah, you can even see like there's a couple of
shots of like very very snatchy dresses, but like each
dress has its own individual sparkles, like shiny dress. Yeah.
And then also there was a mode in there was
a DLC on the Battle of Gaytony Grand Pottle four
where you were able to do a fight club. Look
like that's back too.

Yeah, and two degree it looks like Jason is working out,
is working out and eating part of back in GTA
because I know in San Andreas you could be skinny
or it could be fat. Then four and five took
that away because it was a dynamic. It was like,
oh do we need that? Do we not need that?

Yeah? But you're right though, it was dynamic and everybody
basically was like built. Nobody chose to be fat.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
You're slower, But yeah, there's a lot the cool thing
is just off the rip what we know. I think
in GTA five it was Danny Tamborelli was like the
main side character. I was like, that's just Danny Tamborelli.
He's just playing himself over there. You think it was
Michael's son this one, I think it's Bobby Morninghan is
voicing the best friend Cal Hampton. That looks a lot.

What's the guy from the Boys, Matty Matheson. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
your daughters don't make me leave the podcast.

No, you can't make me. But yeah, overall, looks great.
I think this is gonna be a great Timean GTA
is I think gonna be is one hundred dollars game
if they so choose, if they do two k stocks,
gonna go the wazoo making money off this game.

So I mean, you also have the opposite what I'm having,
not doing. It'll also be free to play, and then
like you have to buy this pack of missions.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
And well who knows it could do that where if
you buy the premium version of the game, you get
GTA Online for free, but if not, you got to
pay ten twenty bucks. Because I think they did do
that when it came to Xbox Series X and PS five.
Is that Oh if you just want GTA Online, that's
twenty bucks instead of buying the whole game.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Yeah. I do kind of hope though, if they could
do the online thing. It's kind of in junction with
what's going on in the world. So like if I'm
playing online and I've beat the game, but if you're
playing on line, you have beat the game yet I
have weapons you don't have, you know what I mean?

Yeah, I uh, I think that was too. I mean
technically online they did have that to a degree, but
it was mainly your level. It's like, if you were
level twenty online you could get like a mallatop cocktail,
but if you were thirty you could get an actual
grenade or something like that that was mostly online. I

These batches are three episodes, and Rebels is thirty minutes,

to watch that, sort of like an a epilogue to
this one. Great. We find out that the rebels are

we're in the temples and we find out everyone that
you know works there. They don't just sleep in the
damn temple. They made little tree huts, you know, they

But we also see while the Obvin is prospering, Gorman
ain't because the pre old presence on Gorman has grown

on newscasters when in regards to wartime things going on,

That's the one part I didn't, And it's because I
work in news media, and I was like, why is
the cadence for Chaluxy far far away a long time
ago the same case with us today? Come on, they
could be could this on the jazz up a little bit?

But at one point, you know, Gorman's going so wild
that even Cassian thinks the rebels are the ones that
are burning it and not the empire. Like that's how
just deep this is gone that the people that I'm
working for the rebellion don't even know what's going on.
But Luthan does want Cassian to kill Deirdre on Gorman.
Uh and we see that in the rebel in the
Empire side, part of Gas is brief Dedra to pursue

with their plan. Uh. So that way they can pretty
much have a declaration of Marshall domain immediately, which includes
Captain Cato, the Dickius imperial officer you'll ever meet a
full time being introduced to Deirdre and enforcing things on Gorman.

And that's saying something because they're all they all suck.

Speaker 1 (42:18):
He sucks more. But Cyril, you know, is still doing
his job of being like the lead bureaucrat or whatever
of Gorman. But he, you know, he meets with Dedra
and he says, you know, he hates being captain in
the dark. Deirdre tells Ciril, you know, it's pack and
wait for me and then we'll leave and we'll go
to Coorissant. And while Cyril's trying to ask questions typically

this is very you know, han lea coated. You know,
she kisses him to shut him up, and uh, I
I do think this was the the best thing to
humanize someone in the Empire was to give him a
relationship with someone else, you know, to a degree.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
You know, it's funny because I actually had started to
care for them a little bit. I'm not gonna lie
and start to care for her anymore. Well there's a
reason why.

But we see also that in the setting Imperial Center
of Coruscant, Senate securities asking for everyone what they're doing.
They're bugging all the offices. Senators have to go through
metal detectors. Getting the Senate building was seemed a little
too real, big change for the pre cool days. You
just walk up into the building if you wanted to.
I mean, I mean, I've been to a couple of them.

I guess parliament houses. You want to say, that's what
it is now. And we see Ambassador or in Aka,
the guy mon was trying to convince stuff was going
on his planet. All of a sudden, he's like, oh,
I didn't realize what was going on. Like, yeah, I
should listen to them on the whole time. In two
episodes later, your askets kicked out of the Senate.

an episode last season. But this season, man, she's been great.

She's been killing with those speeches too. But meanwhile this
is going on. Bigs does take Cassie into a forced healer,
which is cool just to it's not a Jedi, but
it is very with Cheerott from Rogue One. You know

those kind of lines of like she might have healed
Cassian's injury, we're not really sure, or she just made

off the Last Jed and the Last Jedi where I

Uh, But we see that Willman is actually Casting's co
pilot and the U Wing as they go to Gorman,
as the Empire also sends a bunch of young cadets
to Gorman, like, oh, they do not realize what they

then uh, we see that Gorman now has a curfew
and effect. As Casting a woman arrive, Cassian does use

to try to use the fake identity sneak in the
same hotel that Bell Boy from last week is now
a hotel manager. He remembered Asian Willman's Welcome to the
Gorman Front, where he falls in love. I'm in love
with the Gorman. Immediately Cassian does try to snipe out
Didre's I guess office and overlook and notices that two

stormtroopers are standing guard on the roof of hotel. And
so it begins what will become the Gorman Massacre in
the next episode.

Let's just stop right into it, man. It starts. It
starts off kind of very We've seen a lot of this,
like in twenty twenty if the death of George Floyd
is just all out massive protests, peaceful protests, it was
a massive protest Gorman Square, I gus you want to
call it?

Yeah, plaza, I guess is what it was.

And the interesting thing too, is in the previous episode
the Gorman Front of like do we want to handle
like I think it was the older leaders like we
should handle this peacefully, but it's the young upstarts that
we need to handle it violently. And it was like
at first they were kind of handling the protest violin
and then they did the peaceful song, like, oh, they
figured it out, you know, this is how we're gonna
do it, you know, as Gorman shout out to Cassie

and did have the same sniper blaster he had from
Rogue one then he tried to kill Galen or so,
so it was kind of cool just to see him
use it again. But we see that all the Cyril's
mom is learning about Gorman on a news report, which
is how a lot of people in the Empire learning
about it. There's a good line on you know, we'll
be silent when we're dead, which is like, yeah, we're

(47:24):
gonna be dead because you guys are dumb. They are
making the right choice. We find out that pretty much
the Gorman front does know that Cyril kind of betrayed
him in the past year. In between episodes, they slap him,
they beat him up a little bit to a degree,
but everyone knows what Cyril's doing, even though he doesn't
know what he's doing. It's really just the Empire didra

(47:46):
He's like, I thought, I'm just trying to help.

Speaker 2 (47:48):
Okay, sweet, sweet young Cyril. We'll talk about you more

We will, because we find out the Empire while Cyril's
kind of waiting away for Dedra. The Empires called in
all the employeers to the plaza as well, because they
just want more bodies. Is what's happening, More chaos of
people coming into this one plaza. Cassieing does ask the bellboy,
you know what's going on, and you know, gives them
a cryptic message. But at the end of the day,

(48:14):
he said, the thing rebellions are built on hope. So
that's how Cassie learned the line.

Speaker 2 (48:19):
God bless that man, God bless that hopeful hopeful.

Speaker 1 (48:21):
You're dead, but thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (48:25):
Kind of true.

Speaker 1 (48:27):
Uh. Cyril does go into the building. He sees how
the news reporters are kind of twisting the protest into
an insurrection instead because it was that propaganda team. We
know this is where the Rising Tension music happened. Cyril
initially does get tucked away with other employees and he
sees a lot of k X the K two s
so droids. One stares at Ceral. We're gonna say that's
K two s so who knows, Probably probably is, and.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
It is I don't know, it is. That's the can
that that's the one has the soul.

Speaker 1 (48:54):
He's got he's got the soul. But the Empire starts
boxing people in into the plaza. They start closing up
the plaza kind of just have them sitting ducks there.
Captain Cato sends out some Green officers in the crowd.
They have no idea what's going on. We are the
Gorman Front and people are singing very lay mis coded.

(49:16):
You know, do the hearing people sing, which is which
fun because you know it is like French Revolution and
all that stuff coded as well. Cyo does sneak up
the tower confronts Dedre about the truth of what's going on.
Ceral gets physical, which I didn't know how I felt
because I'm like, it's a little too much, but I
do appreciate that you're trying to stand up for so
figure out what's going on.

Speaker 2 (49:35):
So weird, he's basically a he's an inceel and for
once he thought somebody thought like him and he believed
it and he was betrayed, and so he has a
switch that is not good because he needs he needs therapy.

Speaker 1 (49:51):
Like I don't meet Yeah, man needs therapy.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (49:54):
Deirdre finally tells him everything, and you know, Cerro leaves
and just like I can't with you. This is what
we should be doing. So we're seeing the moments so
like Cyril is starting to get that change of heart.
We don't get there, and we see the rebel or
the Imperial cadets go into the crowd. I remember this
is that Han Solo was almost one of these guys

(50:16):
in Solo, so like that could have been world. Cyril
hops back in the crowd. Part of Gaz interrupts. Deirdre
tells them let it begin. Deirdre tells Cato to tet
things off, and they had a sniper on the roof
that shoots one of their own trip troops, pretending as
if the rebels did it, and all chaos ensues, and
it's like, whoa, this is a lot right now.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
I mean, it is so much. I mean, just just
to go back to because I have a little bit
experiences of cops around what happened when the Baltimore riots happened.
A lot of that was incited by people that aren't
even from Baltimore that just wanted to come up here.

Speaker 1 (50:52):
And causer ucus.

Speaker 2 (50:54):
Yeah exactly. So I was like, but this is what
the government doing, which we know again, I mean, isn't
you know Roses and Newicorn. So but to see that
happen again. If if you thought there was a little
it's wasn't that bad? Yes, empire was that bad?

Speaker 1 (51:11):
And the wild thing is it starts off like the
one trooper gets shot and then they just shoot everyone
immediately around him, like that man got a head shot
and like why did you guys look up first? But
you know it's all part of the empire. Player uh.
Chaos ensues. Eventually, it gets to a point where the
k the Kaks droids are sent out. They deal even
more of a raucus. They yat people on the streets.

(51:33):
Cyril isn't for this. He's trying to leave, but in
doing so, the bell boy from the hotel throws the
grenade to cause chaos. I assume he dies. They didn't
really show his body, but we assume. But in doing so,
Cyril sees cast in. He says, f this noise, I'm
not turning. I'm gonna go kill this man.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
Zero had a shot too. He had his shot and
the explosion ruin it. Him and Cyril tussle. And this
is the sad part about it. He's been basing his
entire existence for the last how many years. It has
been like finding this man and he found him and
he had him down, and Cassie goes, who are you.

Speaker 1 (52:12):
Yeah, Cassie doesn't even know he is, and that's just wild,
just perspective, you know. And Zero gets shot in the
head and dies of me. He's like, oh, we thought
you were gonna be our boy who turned to the
good side. But no, he didn't have that chance because
Cassian and the Gorman Front leader ruined it.

Speaker 2 (52:27):
And honestly, I feel like that was a a of
mice and men moment.

Speaker 1 (52:35):
Put him out of his misery, because it ain't gonna
be better for you because you've been in this crowd.
But eventually Cassian does escape. He finds Will. They escape.
They do meet up with some of the rebels. Will's
trying to leave, but Cassian's like, not for the booty,
not again, not again. Which we entered at K two,

(52:57):
A k Ex droid shows up. It's K two s
O we now know the It gets demolished by one
of the rebel who killed Sinta last week. Luckily, Will
separates from Cassie and to go back to the Gorman
Front Cassie and smuggles k t us So the droid
back with him. The Empire built this fire. Ddre kind
of has a mini panic attack of what's happened. At

(53:19):
the end of the episode, Cyril's mom watches the news
just hoping for a sign of Cereal as the news
says about the insurrection on Gorman and it.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
Ends what's saying his mom sucks, But that was said,
that was sad. She's going to creigure around.

Speaker 1 (53:31):
It was like, oh gone, man, yeah, it's sad. It
was sad. But episode nine, Welcome to rebell And kicks
off with the Gorman chant song to start over with
a title sequence, and it is Ambassador Orn being arrested
at the Senate building as Baylor Ghana looks on with
Man Mathma. Bail reiterates, you know, the winner writes the
story which you know they kill all the witnesses. Ain't

(53:53):
nobody gonna tell a story which there's only a couple
of people that escaped Gorman. Man does ask Bail to
help her take the Senate floor. Mon wants to fight
and leave, but Bail has to stay to buy time
for Avin. So essentially we have that big reveal at
the end of Rogue one when Bail shows up, it's
it's because of that because he's staying on the Senate
floor because he's got Layo one and he's just trying

(54:15):
to have the be the inside person for the rebellion
in the Senate to a degree, though, time.

Speaker 2 (54:22):
Period is between this episode and Obi Wan with Leah. Ooh,
let me look it up.

Speaker 1 (54:29):
Let me look it up, mendos Obi one serious take place. Nope,
that's when Obi Wan died. We know what takes place
nine years before New Hope. Okay, so he so this
is Lea is like six fifteen or whatever, and this
so it's years after o We won to would agree,

(54:49):
but lost notes.

Speaker 2 (54:51):
There we go.

Speaker 1 (54:52):
We see that Clay has been helping Cassie and prep
for extract. Man, he's gonna be a fake journalist. Clay
has got a three D printer, which is cool to
see in Star Wars printing fake Id's. Cassiing does tell Clay,
you know, I'm done after this distraction, and we really
see that Clays really want getting things done, while Luthen's
kind of the idea. Man. We've kind of gotten these
this season for sure as well.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
Yeah, Luthan definitely, he hasn't been as hands on this
well so far. We took the episodes left has hands
on the season as he was last season.

Speaker 1 (55:20):
And that's the thing, like you know, every three every
episode having a major or every batch of three episodes
having major death. I think this really puts Luthen on
the deck for the next three just because we don't
think he's in rogue one as far as we know.
We'll find out, I guess.

Speaker 2 (55:36):
And then wats talking about bigs in a minute?

Speaker 1 (55:38):
Yes, we will. We see that Mon's aid Erskin finds
a bug in her office. The Empire has been listening
to a ton of centers as she's prepping her speech.
Luthen does eventually meet Mon, says Erskin's been working for
him ever since the wedding. In the first batch of episodes. Uh,
he's protected man in ways she'll never know. Is where,
Luthen says, someone on bail Organ's team is corrupted. They'll

(56:00):
say they're taking under the oven, but it's actually Cassie
and the one you need to trust. He's gonna use
the I have Friends Everywhere code, which is coming handy
and it's kind of been the one way out of
this season friends. Ever. Yeah, eventually we do get the
inference that Lufen says you know Tay was handled uh
in those first episodes too.

Speaker 2 (56:23):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (56:23):
And it's where we see that the ip also has
Mon's drivers spying on her as well, so she's been
spied on in all fronts.

Speaker 2 (56:30):
He was a horrible spy. He was not a good
one at all.

Speaker 1 (56:34):
Eventually Monsmurt dismisses Erskine at the time, but it is
Casting and Clay who meet up with Luthan. We don't
know what's happening with Will yet essentially, uh. And we
know that Luthen's not going to Avon, He's gonna stay
on corrus On, but Claya might go to Evan. But
we'll find we'll find out what happens. Everything comes down
if this plan goes wrong with Mon. And it is funny,

(56:56):
there was a line of beginning this episode, They're like, oh,
we got a good driver, but thank thankfully, if they
get us a new one, they'll be smarter. They definitely
underplayed their driver. He was definitely spying on her the
whole time.

Speaker 2 (57:07):
Yeah, I didn't play very well.

Speaker 1 (57:10):
They did very much. We see Casting get into the
Senate building posing as Ronnie Guja again from the mid
rem Network. Was in the Gorman episode before We see
that Bail's extraction teams coming together, but one of them
is a spy. We know there's a good line of
Mond telling Bail, you're brave enough to stay, I should

(57:33):
be brave to go. Bail does tell one of his
team's plans, but he should trust the team. He's not
sure about it just because ip infiltrated his team. Erskin
does meet Cassian with I Have Friends Everywhere. Code gets
cast into the plan escape route showing the oman's going
to be right here in a little senate pod, and
we find out that one of Supervisor Jung's agents, who

(57:55):
was one of the ones, the bold one I guess,
has teamed up with the woman on Bail's team. She
kills one of the guys. We do get some Senate time,
which is cool because the prequels is really bored, and
this was kind of interesting where Bail got yielded time
for another senator and Bail invokes Article seventeen two fifty

(58:15):
two to yield time for mon and we see her
little pod come out and it's very one versus one
hundred vibes in the Senate of like she's the voice
going against the darkness of the Senate, which is kind
of cool.

Speaker 2 (58:26):
And I want to see the east you have to
say about this, I want to see that.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
I want to see it, Dan. But we see that
the news feed door has been closed. We find out
that it was closed because there are some rebel maintenance
crew members in there that close the door from the
feed being cut.

Speaker 2 (58:44):
There a heart attack, Yeah, he was, I caught this.

Speaker 1 (58:47):
I'm the news man. I gotta get I gotta get killed.
Great lines in the speech. The distance between what has
been said and what is known is true is what
is known to be true is an abyss. She calls
out Palpatine at the end of her speech. I know
a lot of people did complain that this speech is
different than the one she gives in Star Wars Rebels.
They do have a line in there that says she's
going to give a revised version of the speech later,

(59:10):
so I think that's kind of was their way of
connecting the dots there. But eventually Cassian does tell Mom
the code phrase the gainor trust. He also talks about
Vell and al Donnie in a fully gainer trust and
we see the ISB undercover agent reveals herself. Cassian shoots
her pretty quickly, he says, well the rebellion, mom, armand mom.
As soon as that happens, they run into a driver.

(59:33):
Eventually Cassian shoots her. We see really kind of like
the ins and outs of the Senate building, which was
kind of cool, like it is a fortress really if
you think about it. Cassian and Mon get into her ship.
They go to the safe house that Cassian used to
live in. We see Agent Young is getting a call

(59:55):
from Colonel Lauren on line three, which just makes you remember, Ah,
he was a good guy in Clone Wars. He stayed
at the Empire, which sucks, and we see uh. Eventually
they meet Cleya and Erskine in the old safe house.
Will Andrina his boo and his booty call from Gorman
made it out alive from Gorman too, and this is
where Cassian's gonna separate from mond teeing up the Rebels episode.

(01:00:17):
Like we just said, and just aligned, I think it's
Cassian says, the man make it worth it. Cassian and
his ew Wing does arrive at Yavin with Will as
he goes into medical aid. Uh. There is a scene
here too where Vel is inspecting everyone's weapons on Yavin
and Cassian's prison friends on base Rur, Scott Melchie, who

(01:00:38):
also will die in Rogue one very infamously. Yeah, a lot,
a lot of people one way ready to go, that
is true. Uh. But we see that Draven does debrief
about Mond, that Gold Squadron Squadron will deliver to Yavin,
that a ship is already looking for on our way,
which is the Ghost, which is cool, A little direct

(01:00:58):
connection there. Uh. Cassie tells Draven about the dead KX
unit in his ship, and he does go home hang
out with Bis, saying you know, I'm done, I want
to be with you. But the next morning it gets
real sad because Bix has left the message saying she's
not brave enough the person saying she can't be the
reason he leaves the rebellion. We have to beat them,

(01:01:18):
we have to win. So for the rebellion, I'm leaving.
I'm ending this with you. She does say whenever everything
is over, they can do all the things they've missed,
that she'll find them, but she's not gonna, which is
real sad, real sad.

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
That's my question because I feel like what brought them
together was grief, the death of her of her husband,
which was I'm so honestly not over because I don't
think he needs to die personally. But when we uh
we see Cassie in Rogue one and him and Jennerous
will kind of get something going. Is that the kind
of like like like like like a like a what's

(01:01:55):
what's the word rebound? Rebound for him?

Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
Or was it really if it's too years later, if
it's one year later, is that still rebound?

Speaker 2 (01:02:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:02:03):
I remember the whole time, we're like, oh, yeah, yeah,
typical Star Wars are gonna get it together, and then
it just hugged out the game like oh okay, they're
just friends, like it's good friends.

Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
His friends.

Speaker 1 (01:02:12):
Yeah, But eventually she's gone. Cassie can't find her. But Cassian,
now called captain and or really stepping into that leadership
role that was kind of teased that he's truly becoming
part of the rebellion. He's a bigger deal. Is asked
to meet with the team to power up K two
s l K two s O voice by alent Tunic
is back, baby. He says, you know, get those guns

(01:02:35):
out of my face, and the episode ends Cassian will
be in our K two s O it won't be
on our last three episodes, baby last we have a.

Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
Lot had a lot to uh live up to, because
I mean this was this is basically episode now in
a Game of Thrones. These three so good lord, Like
this was like a tiny movie and they could have
ended all these together and not even stopped and like credits.

Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
Okay, so credit And also forgot to mention that this
was the first time Casside in Mona. We're in the
same thinge together. So yes, the entire thing. Those are
two main characters. The next three it will be interesting because, like,
like we kind of already said, Luthen is a thread
they just have to address. Casside is pretty much primed.

(01:03:16):
It's more so him just hanging out with k twos.
So is it, like we said, the guy he shoots
in Rogue one is introduced to agree, do we maybe
we get some mentions of just some rebel pilots, just
like you don't gotta show me who they are because
you can't do the Rogue one archival footage thing. But
she's like, oh, it's you know what, it's the leader
of Gold Squadron. All this random stuff just to build

(01:03:38):
up that they have a fleet. Now you got Y wings,
you got X wings, like it is very like the
next three is the one second away from Midnight of
you know, the Battle of Yavin, So you got to
put the pieces in the right order, I think.

Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
And let's just to be clear about my Star Wars
lore Obi Wan had no contact with Rebel alliance Taslean.

Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Right correct, until Leah gave him the message gotcha.

Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
Because that now I'm thinking they don't need to do
this at all, and I don't want to do this,
but I'm like it's Luthen and Jedi because he's way
too good at this.

Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
Yeah, I mean I think that's the interesting thing is
like the Luthan as a whole, Like how you wrap
that up is does he get found out and like
he's shot and killed? Does he sacrifice himself or is
he just he's in the background of every scene. We
just don't you don't pay attention, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
Yeah, maybe icelave himself Alai Yoda because you know, if
he's found out that all his contacts are found out,
I mean you haven't the rebel base will be found
out before the end him a new hope. So maybe
he just either like say he either dies, or he's
just like, Okay, I'm going out to the outer outer
outer Ring, or yeah, he has that thing that he
goes where Asoka is right now, something like that. I'm
out because if I'm found out, the whole operations.

Speaker 1 (01:04:51):
Dead and then didre Obviously we have to wrap up
whatever happens with her. I know, like, sure, you can
have characters and Drew that survive, but I think ultimately
wrap it up. I think we're not go. We know
we're not getting a third season. Sure you can do
this type of stuff in the comic books and books
and all that stuff, but I think storyline wise, probably
wrap her up. Maybe she's the She and Luthen are

(01:05:13):
the ones that sort of get rid of each other
a little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
And honestly, I feel like too, if nothing Empire Rise
is wrapped up, we have all assume they're gonna die
and either one of the start.

Yeah, so either way they're dead now, So there you go.

Yes, and Kevin, I guess we'll just go one last prediction.

Vader no, because we know Vader shows up and then
the rogue one. So I feel like that would be
way to hitt do it twice, mm hmm, Palpatine, I'm
gonna say no to Ian McDermott showing up in person,
but a hologram by a person in the.

Hood, and hey, maybe it is Maybe it is Ian McDermott.
That's an easy get. Ian McDermott still like Star Wars,
so yeah, yeah, but it also.

Is easier and probably cheaper to just have somebody on
set put on the hood and have him just recorded.

I know that old those old man feet features. I
can recognize him a mile away. It's true. You can
just put the makeup on. They can put the makeup on,
because he is very wrinkly Palpatina at this point still.

And honestly I know at this time. Also what's her name,
God dang it, the denaries Tagari and the leader.

The Rebel Alliance at one point during his time, so
maybe because.

He's started that as well, she was not helping the Rebelians.
She was working for Crimson down Kevin so well finished
Star Wars Outlaws then he would get there, you would
know what happened.

I don't think he's joyed in that game, by the way,
because I never got the droid.

You don't get a droid in Star Wars out well,
you do, but he just stays in that ship. He
does not leave that Shipaya. Again, there are a lot
of characters in that game where you just you get
them and then they do not leave that ship.

Well, never mind, there was some hope and then how
the hope is gone.

I mean, so that game is ours Outlaws is But yeah,
