Welcome back to the any news youneed to know throughout the week on iHeart
Radio went cause service serves are wrongthe world. Because my name's hood It,
I'm Kevin, and you've officially youare officially listening to this Monday episode
of What keV Crisis on Infinite Pkay. Happy back to school Monday for you

(00:34):
who observed from you going back, going back, or just ruined the day.
The traffic is back now because summerespecially over and not gonna lie.
Uh this podcast is late. Whybecause of back to school traffic? Because
I thought I was gonna beat itand nope, got stuck in a lot
of buses. Stuck behind a lotof buses. Oh yeah, Plus you
live in traffic Central, I meanFairfax, Baby. You know I was

(00:55):
like, whoo whoo, Nova DC. I mean, if there's anything tender
for what's worst traffic in America besidesAtlanta, maybe Dallas Fort Worth in LA,
it's Novo DC. Here's the thing, Seattle is also up out there,
and who lived there, this guyand who had to deal with it
again. Yeah, and so that'sthe thing we'll get in the rigging roll

(01:17):
of the podcast. But Seattle,I think at the time when I lived
there was high worse technically higher onthe list than DC based on traffic just
because like a lot of it ishills led a lot of people get an
accidents during the winter or any timethey're not paying attention. And then I
think I live technically three miles fromthe station I worked at for Carlin,

(01:40):
Marie and Anthony shout out, andit took it would take me about fifteen
minutes in the morning, but itwould take me if I left, I
could time it. If it waspast twelve thirty, it would take me
an hour to get home. AndI thought in Northwest a lot of those
cities were developed later, so Ithought they were more bikable. Well they
are, but you're boys not bikinganywhere at four in the morning. Sorry,

(02:00):
yeah, yeah. I actually hadbeen asked, well, I don't
bike to wor because I don't onlysee walking me. I'm like, do
you want to rob the bollemore?Any one a bike four to more?
No? I do not. Idon't think. The other wild thing was
that because I had the Tahood,my big Tahoe car, the red one
stack of the day, good oldTahood, many many journeys in that car

(02:20):
made it back in across this country. But because Seattle is so hilly and
it's kind of a lot of placesin the East Coast or sorry, West
Coast is it was automatic. Buton those hills your car felt like it
was manual because you'd be waiting thereThey're like, all right, here we
go, and then I'm gonna letmy get foot off the pedal. Oh,

(02:42):
here we go. And so whenanytime someone got behind me, I
was like, oh my god,I don't want to do this. I
hate this, so I would avoiddriving into the main part of the city.
But I don't want to kill you, all right, I give me
space. Why are you so closeto me? But you know, it
is what it is. Oh I'swant to go to Pai Northwest mony days
is this you know, I'll giveyou all the hotspots, the Funko store,

(03:05):
it's because the Mothership. So yougotta go at least to get one
funk pop. But they're Portland,I heard, is crazy, weird love
to go there like northern California.I mean, if you're gonna do a
whole road trip, you start inPortland. Then you go to Halloween Town,
which essentially is also Forks, Oregonfrom Twilight. Uh so I start
Forks, Washington. Sorry about that. So you get knocked those two out.

(03:29):
Then you go to Seattle more andI've done that, and so actually
I think I might love go toFort Washington for Twilight. She's a big
Twilight stand. Well, it's thesame. Here's the thing where Twilight,
at least the first one, andI think parts of the second one where
it's film that is literally the sametown, Halloween Town is filmed then for
the first one. So you passby the movie theater and then on the

(03:49):
left is the book shop Bella getsthe Vampire book from Okay, okay,
the only thing I want to suckthose at. I'm gonna play the code
on repeat. Oh yeah, Imean you have to as soon as you
get lay in Portland, Like, all right, let's go through Portland quickly
so we can get there. Howdo we get here? I also want
to go one day to uh Vancouver, CW places, Big Belly Burger.

(04:11):
I want to see the newspaper place. I want to see Star City.
That'd be great. I want tosee it all, baby. I don't
know if there's a tour for that, Like I sew tour for Bancover.
Oh, they're they're easily has tobe. I mean like there's even DC
tours here, like here's where allthe movies are filmed that, but just
random streets like okay, Captain Americais filmed there. Cool, but there's
nothing like indicating that. He says, oh this is a street. Yeah,

(04:35):
that's the museum that they have inDC that's been there for one hundred
years. So of course, yeah, of course. But you know,
this is a fun podcast because there'snot a lot going on news wise,
hence why we've gone already four minutestalking about Seattle and planning road trips to
Pacific Northwest, but strikings, itwasn't new. On today's show, we

(04:57):
will be talking about an update onour Fantasy Gaming League because you know,
it's Fantasy football time. That's raprats ramping up for everybody. But it's
also ramping up for the Fantasy GamingLeague because we're full into the fall release
states now with video games. We'regonna be talking about hype for Starfield because
Kevin found a way to play ita Star Wars clue that might lead us

(05:18):
to the future of a Star Warsshow, and we're gonna be talking about
the nineties movies that need to makea comeback or have a sequel in any
capacity in honor of Good Burger too. But you could see everything we're talking
about so much more by going toHot nine five dot com slash Crisis Crew,
or you can keep a lock toat Infinite Underscore Pods on the Instagram

(05:40):
or the Twitter anywhere in between.Threads is there if you want to or
keV. They can on their owntime live when recording the podcast comment or
on their own time again after werecord the podcast can go where to do
so. You can go to YouTubedot com slash Infinite Underscore Pods watches on
demand and watch all old stuff. Can kind of get get you caught up

(06:01):
on news of the last three years, four years, so it's kind of
crazy thing about. Also, youcan go to twitch toss tv satching on
score pods. We're on live twicea week. There you watch his live
interactor closing the chat. We're interactingback with you. We'll have a good
old time. Hell yeah, we'rejust getting better and better. And just
before we go into the what you'redoing, I apologize my voice is shot.

(06:23):
Why because I yelled a lot forgood reasons at Intern John's comedy show
this past weekend. So we're gonnatry going our baby, it's not it's
gonna be a lot more Kevin thisepisode. Yeah, and my voice ain't
gret either, because that's sang fifteensongs le at church. So we'll figure
this out. Opposite ends, thewire voices are gone. But Kevin,
in lieu of that, or inhonor of that, let's get on into

(06:45):
it. It's time for some whatyou're doing. We always start the podcast
with it where we talk about thethings we've been watching, games we've been
playing, lives we've been living.Because it is Monday, good sir,
you get to go first. Todaywas the first day back to school for
the kid. And this is herfirst day of her first day of first
grade, so no more ardens orgardens. She actually now is a yeah,

(07:11):
first grader. She has eleven moreto go, which is it sounds
a lot. When say it allowsa lot, it makes me sad because
you know, she's growing up andshe used to be this tall. Now
she's like this tall bump sitting down. And see here's the funny thing.
Is based on where Kevin was croppedoff. It looked like she said it
was an install. And now she'sa foot doll and she's just getting bigger.

(07:35):
She's so smart. So there's alittle bit of emotional this morning my
song. When we did that obligatorypictures online, you have to have people
that complained about that block us.Don't it's to ride a passage for us
nineties kids exactly what you're not goingto do post post children, your kids
going to school. It's exciting,so shut up. I don't like it.

(07:57):
Change channel anyway. So that's goingon over the weekend. Didn't do
much over this weekend, a lotof actually did a lot of more schools
of school shopping for shoes. Canwe talk about that too? Did you
guys have anxiety over back to schoolshopping more than she did? Yes?
Because for her it was just Iwant new shoes in new clothes. For

(08:20):
us, I was like, Okay, we have to buy this size now
because you're not gonna be this sizein three months, so we got to
buy this size. After that,Yeah, I feel like that's a parent
thing because I always remember, like, mind you, I don't have a
kid like you do, but likegrowing up, I always felt like my
mom always had more pressure on herselfto give us back to school outfits over
my brother and I having nice outfits. It is, it's horrible. It's

(08:43):
horrible. And but it's even worsethan that is back to school shopping for
food because she's been laying around thehouse pretty much all we all summer,
so everything was always she's going outwhile she was out. But now you
actually need to have stuff for herfor lunch and for after school as well.
Now, Kevin, this might bea lee question whenever she pops in
the podcast next, but what isher go to lunchable? We actually don't

(09:05):
give her any lunchables? Fuck, that's okay, that's very good thing,
actually more than anything, because she'drather have a full size sandwich. Yeah.
Yeah, So we gave her somelunchables once and she ate like three
of them one day, Like whoa, whoa, we can't do that too
much salt, well, and sowhat growing up as a kid, what

(09:26):
was your go to lunchable? Theregular kind is the turkey and a ham
with cheese, the little cracker sandwich. Yeah, I didn't like the pizza
ones I didn't really like. Uh, what was the other one? I
had that was weird? Was itall right? Well, I'm gonna tell
you because I know what it isbecause my favorite back in the taco Yeah,
that was it was cold meat pastethat you would put on the taco

(09:50):
and cheese on it and eat it. I don't want a cold taco.
I don't want a cold pizza.Well, cold pizzas is cool for somebody,
but done not for this guy.Well, so I go, why
why are we doing this to thefood? And this is the wild thing.
And I learned this because of TikTok. Apparently you were supposed to heat
up the lunchable pizza like it tellsyou on them in the instructions, put
in microwave for like thirty seconds. So you're marketed this product kids eat at

(10:13):
school at cold. Yeah, andyou were supposed to eat it up the
entire time, not eat it frozenor free like frost burn because of the
ice pack. Hey, miss Johnson, got heat up my no, no,
this is my planning period. Goback to lunch. So we did
a lot of lunch shopping yesterday. We sett the on mostly she likes seaweeds

(10:35):
for some reason. That's good.A bunch of a bunch of turkey,
bunch of ham and bread and uh. She also likes for us as easy
put froken nuggets for nuggets in herin her lunch both and since her mom
is a teacher, she's going toher mom's her food, so it's a
little bit easier for her for now. But then when she hits middle school,

(10:56):
she screwed. Yeah, I don'tthink I started buying lunch. I
staked a good question for you,she does. I don't think I started
buying my lunch until middle school. What about you? Fifth grade? I
think around then, just because Iwas like, oh, you're cool enough
to hold five dollars and you're pocketand that's it. But launch, it
was like maybe two bucks or somethinglike what do I do with this extra
three dollars? So yeah, mydad would even give me five bucks for

(11:18):
two days. It sounds like giveme twenty for the whole week. And
when you gave me twenty, Iwas like, I'm not eating this week.
I don't need to buy milk,and I'll be fine. I'll have
all this extra change. It waslike, I'm going to movies this weekend
because I got twenty dollars. Yeah, that's about all we've been doing all
week. I've also been I don'tknow if I told you I restarted Scrubs.

(11:39):
I'm yeah, and you enjoy it. I almost started the other day
because I was like, Kevin's watchingit, so maybe I watch it again,
And so we just talked about theepisodes. They're so good, it's
so heartfelt. I'm in season fournow, and it was funny. There's
a time in my life when Iwas actually really really depressed and all I
really did was watched Scrubs I repeat. So it's a amazing how like a

(12:01):
year of watching every scum TV Ihad on repeat. Now the episodes are
just like a part of me.So I don't even I can just hear
them. I know what I knowwhat the dialogue is, I know what
part, I know what music you'regonna come up with next, and like
this is crazy, I just knowthis. Well that's like, uh,
Star Wars A New Hope came onTBS the other day because TV had to
be on. I had it onand I was like, I already know

(12:22):
where we are. I don't evenlike I'm like I'll be wanting already did
this? You know? Han andLuke or here we're good to go.
Like that scene from Family Guy whenhe goes that's how it works. Like
you know music, you you canhear it from four rooms away and then
doing that part, and they're doingit the first there it is, don't
get cocky, Okay, get readymore get ready. That's all I'm saying.

(12:45):
A should be the first thing youdo when you guys get married,
to sit down and watch the entireWell, so here's the thing where so
I guess that's sort of transitioning tome. We are in the midst of
rewatching all of them. We startedwith one. This time we did too.
We're about to watch three just upto I think we'll watch the Last
Jedi because technically that's what she needsto watch for Galaxy's Edge, because it

(13:07):
takes place in between Force Awakens andin the Last Jedi, because I also
write as Skywalker is all right, but it's gonna be dope. You're like,
oh, yes, you'll see thatthese things pay off in star Tours,
but most likely Galaxy's Eedgine, youknow that I haven't written Star Torch
yet. I've been there three times, but guys, every time I haven't
starn. Did you know I personallyhad a handwritten autograph from C three PO

(13:30):
and R two D two while theywere touring that right, because they tore
every time you go, you knowit's the same R two D two and
C three Pio. What's that worththem about buck fifty and p memories and
childhood memories that made it. Buton top of that, I actually started

(13:50):
this season of Harley Quinn. Iactually I think we're talking about this last
week, but I watched a couplemore episodes the same thing. It is
like a lot of they're kind ofin a corner now and just trying to
figure out what they can do withthe characters. So it'll be interesting see
if it gets another season. Andthen my adventitions of Superman don't sleep on
it. There's about I think onemore episode. I think if I did

(14:11):
the math right, and it's reallygood and there's a big twist, not
a big twist, but the bigreveal you kind of already know if you
know you're Superman stuff, especially ifyou watch Superman Lewis, So that's what's
gonna happen. And then happy tosay more and I have completed our first
video game together because we finished Ithink I talked about this early in the

(14:33):
summer. We started Escape Academy. That's kind of just a different thing recreational
intimacy to do where it essentially isco op. You do escape rooms.
It's virtually it's on game Pass rightnow, so you need something with your
boothang or your friend or your oryour child. Definitely good game. We
finished it. Game was kind oflackluster because at the end, because they're
kind of teasing you up to getthe DLC, but because we have game

(14:54):
Pass, we don't have that. But in lieu of that, we have
now downloaded a way out the gamewith the two prisoners that's co op and
it takes two. So we'll bedoing those in the near future to test
our relationship. I've heard a lotof good things like it takes two.
Yeah, it'll be interesting. Wedid the demo I think when the game
first came out, and I thinkat the time More just wasn't mentally or

(15:18):
physically ready for video games of thatcapacity where she had to be involved with
it. But now we've done onetogether. I think now it's like,
oh, we did one board game, one puzzle, let's do the next
one. Yeah. The only gameat least and I really played together is
grandfaf ato kind of passing off backand forth. Nothing more romantic. You
know. Well, my nephew isaround. We do play a lot of

(15:41):
what's it called quip quip quick blash. Yeah, we're all about the jackbox
games. That's sort of the familygame of like my switch is mostly Jackbox
games and Zelda. That's what itis. But other than I don't think
we have no we do play cooknot cooking, Mama. What's the game
called diner? The game we playedthat E three overcooked over cook when you

(16:02):
play it overcooked a lot. Sometimes, Yeah, we can't play it that
more. It gets too stressed withthat game the orders. So I try
to play with Leah maybe like amonth ago. She got so stressed she
threw the controller down ran in herroom. I was like, oh my
gosh, this game because especially becauselike I kind of get two into him,
like I need three pacons or thepacons get out of the way.

(16:22):
I need the pacon. But youknow it is that sounds like it's a
fun game, but it is not. Unfortunately, it could be fun.
I think when we played with withme, you Jobby and uh what's your
what's your brother? Was it?I think it was brother John. Yeah.
I think we were a good match. It was going smoothly. But
then sometimes if one bad level insteadof one bad day, it's one bad

(16:45):
level. Ain't you're gonna send thechester. My brother and I play Overcooked
and we always yell at each otherand we play, and that's how it
goes. It's kind of like, you know, it was my friendships yep,
and another thing, you know. And Monopoly might be like and no
one wants to play Monopoly, butthey're like, all right, fine,
I'll agree to it. It'll bedifferent like last time. It never is.
It just ends in chaos and peoplefrustrating and leaving the table. I

(17:08):
don't think I'm finishing the monopoly.I haven't. It just has ended.
Someone's like I gave up, Likeno one properly won Monopoly. I'm done.
But that's what I've been doing.D M must let us know what
you have been doing at infant underscorepods like one at Andy Joegan, who
says she watched Blue Beetle this weekendthat ish made her cry. Totally get

(17:29):
that that movie is very emotional, especially the dad parts. Kevin can attune
to that. Kevin is our there'sa dad seeing Kevin's gonna cry. I
think, Yet you had to kindof comeing together an endgame doing Tony seeing
with his damn they all come home. This is not fair? Uh and
then cool story bro on the Chadsaid, Katan superior to Monopoly. Believe
me, I was the I amI think for a lot of people in

(17:52):
my life, the four Bringer, the pariah of Katan of like this great
game and then they hate me wordas soon as they play it, like
why did you do this? It'sbeen four hours and all I have is
sheep. I'd have to play goodtend But Kevin Bachelor party, Bachelor party.
Kevin. On a different note,I may have found somebody to bring

(18:15):
me into the world of D andD. That may be a good or
bad name. I'm excited. That'sa fun journey. Let's get on into
it is now time for the news. The news. It's ted. Apparently
the board had a wake up.But first thanks, First there we go,

(18:38):
all right, it's awake. Nowit's going we have to give you
on an update on our fantasy andgaming league. And it looks like for
Kevin one mo Tech White. Thisis what I can break predict at the
halfway point of this season. I'vebeen telling you that since what did any

(19:00):
really I'm like, I have noshot. Even if all my games do
great, all you have to dois maintain. You don't have to win.
Good Baby. As long as longas Starfield isn't a dunner, I'm
good to go, because I mean, Spider Man could do can be in
the nineties, Howling how how longNight could be in the upper eighties,
four is a Mortal Kombat, andSupermarket all be in the nineties. I
still will lose. It doesn't matter. So Casey, you're new to the

(19:22):
podcast or you don't know what we'retalking about, because we did it back
in January. Every year since twentytwenty one, we've been doing a fantasy
gaming league where instead of drafting footballteams and or players however you play fantasy
football or any sport, you're draftingvideo games. Essentially, you're giving points
based on how well the game does. If it does above seventy gets positive

(19:44):
points. If it does worse, you'll lose points. On the first year,
Kevin won one hundred twenty points toninety nine the first year, Kevin's
big hitter, which is cool.I could go back and see it it
takes two or actually, no,Kevin's big hitter was Rising five. My
big hitter was Psychonauts two and ittakes two, but didn't manage to beat

(20:04):
FORTSA. Last year I won, your boy, it was close one one
fifty six, two hundred and thirtythree. My big hitter was Elvin Ring
for sure. That is what guaranteedme the win on that Kevin's big winner
for him that was God of WarRagnarok. Now we fast forward to this
year. We're officially practically eight monthsdone. Throughout the year, were three

(20:26):
four three fours, right, threefourths of the year through Now, yeah,
i'll get September October, Well we'llbe we'll be next week, yes,
sure, okay cool. And sowe're, like we said, seventy
five percent done, but we're notdone because a ton of video games still
come out. Starfield on the Horizonthis week. So here's where we're sitting
at right now. Kevin. There'ssome games you might want a draft that

(20:49):
could get you some points, butI don't know. We'll find out,
buddy, But here's what I got. So far Leger, Zelda Tears the
Kingdom I drafted gave me thirty points. That was my big also drafted Jedi
Survivor Resident Evil for remake Diablo four, Dead Space remake Like a Dragon,
Asian Octopath Traveler to w W twoK twenty three personal favorite to good this

(21:14):
year at least, and then ArmoredCores six Fires of Rubacon, which came
out last week, got me fifteenpoints. Kevin's games that have come out
so far include Hogwarts Legacy fourteen points, Final Fantasy sixteen, Street Fighter six,
whichcot twenty three points. That's hishighest one so far. He also
drafted Burning Shores Horizon for Bin West, You'll see Fire Emblem Engaged, Destiny

(21:34):
to Lightfall for Spoken, which forSpoken, which lost some points early in
the year, set him on adark path, a dark path starting in
January. And then the last gamehe has that's already come out is Pickman
four. Here's the thing right now, I'm sitting out one hundred and sixty
two points mainly because of Tears onmy first like stack of games is really

(21:56):
stacked when you think about this year. But here's the thing, Kevin eighty
one, so double the points rightnow. But Kevin does have some contenders.
Kevin has Marvel Spider Man two onhis team. He has Hollow Night
Silk Song, which who the hellknows when that's coming out. You have
Fort Sephimotorsport which last year one yearthat did really good for you or two

(22:21):
years ago Mortal Kombat one which looksgreat. And Super Mario RPG the remake,
which, for all intensive purposes, could be the last real release of
Charles Martinez Mario, which could giveit boosted points because of that. Yeah,
also side note, can sid thegame there from last Yego and Rock
I started over again, but thenflip to my side. I got Assassin's

(22:45):
Creed Mirage which probably sit out eveneighty or even seventy, even eighty.
I have Super Mario Bros. Wonderwhich could be good, could be bad,
Allen Wake two, same thing, and then the main hit her Starfield,
which comes out this week, andI'll find out if it's a dutter
or not. I think you getwith Starfield. I guess I'll talk about

(23:08):
this right now a quick while we'rethere. I found a loophole to play
Starfield and said, loophole is whatgood sir, so I found out that.
I mean, I'm not found.I knew my wife, my wife,
my sister had an Xbox Series S. I didn't know she had a
game Pass. Thus your boy willprobably be just streaming her Xbox One to

(23:33):
my computer down here, Sield.Well, here, you don't even need
it, you just need her account. And then you just add if she
has game Pass Ultimate, you getthe PC version of it. That's a
good point too. You yeah, technically x Xbox, but Xbox on PC
whatever you want to call that. And and then I'm also the PS five
controller can work with any game basicallyalong to connect it to you me.

(23:56):
So I'm just like, I'm set. Well let's talk about it, because
I mean that is it was agood transition. Good on you, kudos.
Starfield comes out technically this week Septemberone. A lot of review people
already have it. If you havegame Pass or the game Pass version of
the game. Technically, this isthe confusing part, you won't be able
to play it until six but ifyou've bought in the Premium edition, you

(24:18):
can play it five days early,so you get to enjoy it during your
Labor Day weekend. Kevin how hypedare you now that you have access to
Starfield to play Starfield, I'm prettyexcited to play a first party Xbox game
with meeting. They not saying theydon't haven't any other party Halo. They
have fortsa, they had what wasthe moment the vampires that came out nobody

(24:41):
liked exactly that's all you're needed rightthere. But they had a few but
nothing that haven't really meant anything. And I feel like the Halo franchise this
is since it's left Bungee has notbeen the same as it was before the
left, so this one feels likeit has a little weight to it.
It feels like it's more of anexploration and based mass effects of exploration plus

(25:03):
more story. I've read a fewthings about people being upset that I guess
Space to Planet Planet Space will bea cut scene, which is I mean,
you can be asset about it now, but if the game's gonna do
so much more than just go toplane and go to space, I mean
I get it. Yeah, Imean there is aerial combat, aerial spatial
I guess combat in the game,so like you're not missing out, and

(25:26):
I think if anything, it's likeFAM if you wanted a game that is
never ending and does that type ofstuff. That game would never exist because
people would still be making that gamefor probably one hundred years. You know.
It's called Noman Sky and it cameout of Suck. It wasn't good
until first Yes, correct, Sothere's that, and then I would say,
so I'm actually pretty hyped about Ihaven't actually played a Bethezda game,

(25:51):
probably fall Out three. Yeah, same thing for me. I obviously I
kind of dabbled in the Dishonored gamesand those studios that got bought by Bethezda
are now you know, owned byXbox, played the Wolfenstein games, but
a true Bethesda Game Studios game, like a Fallout. I dabbled in Fallout
four just because it was at thetime and Xbox One game that came out.

(26:14):
When it launched, kind of gotperplexed by everything that was build your
own shelter and all this stuff thatwas like, yeah, it was the
precursor to fall Out seventy six.Never really got into Skyrim, I'm sorry,
and fall Out three never dabbled in. Just didn't have the Xbox at
the time to play that game.Unfortunately, because it was in DC but
I'm excited for this. I thinkit really is, like you said,

(26:36):
that good blend of mass effect witha Bethesda game. I think I've talked
about this already, but I'm hypedas hell that I hope it's true.
Someone was able to make a replicaof the Millennium Falcon in the game.
And that's what I'm instantly about todo when I create my own ship,
because I don't like And that's thecool thing is you can import those designs
into kind of how Armored Cores sixhas been duing with designs too. This

(26:59):
past week. I'm going to tryto make the astro Mega sword from Powders
and Space No. Okay, Isent that to you right where you Yeah,
and it was so dope. Butyeah, I think that's a cool
thing is it's customizable, and somuch so far they've talked about it is
that everyone's experience will be different. They've even tested like some people just stayed

(27:19):
on the starting planet and just exploredall that as much as they could before
actually kicking off on new journeys.I think that's the same thing that's going
to happen with you and I whenwe both played off like oh well,
I went to this, I wentleft, Kevin went right, and then
we talk about what the differences were. Yeah, And that's the other thing.
I'm hoping that the story web Storethey have written for this isn't as

(27:41):
bland and uninteresting as I hate tosay it anthem because oh my gosh,
I didn't that guy I'm supposed tohelp you out on I want to shoot
you in a phase. You're annoyingit around me. And that's the thing.
The thing is, I think we'reboth hyped for Starfield. We have
some reservation just because you know Xbox, but Desin really needs to get a
banger game out too. Is thesame thing, but I think it has

(28:06):
to have that story. But Ithink not like you discover that story,
but it needs to be a littlebit in your face story because I think
No Man's Scott and not No NoMan Sky. Yeah, and Outer Wilds,
which was the indie game where youcould explore space. It was in
a time loop. A lot ofit was you discover the story. And
then so if you don't have thatproper motivation slash imagination to get there connect

(28:29):
dots, you're you're gonna lose interest, which I think this game needs to
do so, especially as an openworld game, because you'll have people losing
interests as soon as story and actionisn't coming to them. They have to
find it, you know, thirtythirty minutes into the game, or on
the planet they're On's say, maketry I have like Destiny, Like Destiny's
lore is fascinating, but you haveto find it, Like there's a history

(28:52):
of the gun you have. Butthere's a first grader right coming, Hello,
first grader, I'm a first grader. Yes, okay, so now
remember we asked, we said this, Kevin, you have to ask what
Leah's Leah? What is your favoritelunchable? If you get to pick a
lunchable? Okay, it will bethe crack the crackers all right, runs

(29:22):
in the family. Kevin, thereyou go, Yeah we have in a
minute. But yeah, I'm sayingI told you just be cracking on.
She's something. He's my child. But that was when I'm talking about like
Destiny's laws so fascinating. But there'sso much of the story you just don't
know because you're like pump right downthe middle of Eventially, if you start
with Destiny too, no idea, what's going on and now and now if

(29:45):
you play it, you don't evenknow about the war that happened when the
game launched. There's lights and stufflike that. Nintendo, Mike looking at
you, tell me the stories.I'm Mike, keeper of the lore,
keep the destiny, many ips,he is the keeper of the Lord.
But yeah, I think that's thething Starfield's got to get right. I

(30:06):
think you can be so great andbe about space. I mean, even
look at Oh what is the gamethat's been kick started around but still hasn't
come out? Oh? What isthat game space game? Kickstarter? It
is Star Citizen. That game hasbeen in crowdfunding. I don't know if

(30:26):
it's still crowdfunding money for like almosta decade now, game still hasn't come
out. Did you know Mark Hamilland Gary Oldman are in that game?
Yeah, no they are. Theylook highly rendered, but that game is
still early access. I think thatis because the game has just done so
many bits and pieces of connecting spaceand all this stuff, but hasn't had

(30:48):
this story or hasn't had the thingthat like has pushed it to its full
race. Because if anything, Starfieldis what Star Citizen was trying to be
it looks like, yeah, I'mseeing actually still right, it looks like
it. It looks like Starfield waslike, Okay, that's what they're doing.
Now let's put our billion dollars enoughbefestive behind it in the mechanical game
before them. Yeah, and thecool thing is it is Xbox exclusive for

(31:11):
now. We'll see if that's atime exclusive or forever exclusive, but it's
gonna be dope to have a lotof people coming in with game Pass to
play it. It is a singleplayer game, so it'll be like you
said, you're not really like,oh I suck at this because I can't
my spaceship business as good as otherpeople. So this is you're competing against
your environment, and it's gonna bea good old time. I think,

(31:32):
if anything, gonna be another goodTikTok game. People making crazy ships,
somebody somebody making like you said, the Millennium Falcon, somebody making maybe the
Futurama ship like that, and it'sgonna be cool. Back to what you
said echoing that at the beginning,is that this is a cool time just
to one be an Xbox fan,but just a video game fan in general.
If that like now, Xbox isbringing something to the table to compete

(31:53):
again. I mean not it's adifferent thing, but compete with God of
War, Horizon, Spider Man,Ghost of Tushima. Like now, Xbox
finally has something that's not just Halothat people can get behind, be excited
about, and will dominate your TikTokallah you know, Zelda, i'llah Hogwarts
legacy that dominated TikTok earlier this year. I guess you get a lot of

(32:15):
TikTok videos this week off Madden andjust how bad it is a game that
doesn't like what different? Look ifthis trick play on Mad like cool?
Anyone can do that. You know, it's just a bunch of Madden streamers
and men what Ultimate Team streamers, which is like, the game is still
the same from last year. Theysay they're gonna pick that they pix nothing.
It's the same game and they ropedone hundred dollars. That's a man

(32:37):
for you. But yeah, Starfield, if you have bought the Premium or
Deluxe Edition, you get to playit this Friday, maybe on Thursday,
depending on where you live. Ifyou have the Game Pass Edition or just
the base level of the game, you get to play it on September six
review and bargos will go up thisweek too. We'll talk about those,
sort of break them down, justlet you know if you're thinking about buying

(32:58):
the game or downloading on game Pass, Let's face it, it will be
a take her upper of all thestorage on your Xbox. You need to
know these things. So we gotyou covered. But to do the flip
side from going to video games inspace two TV shows slash movies in space,
let's talk about a clue Disney leftthat might tell us about Star Wars

(33:19):
the accolade. A clue because it'swe just got a clue. We just
I don't know. I don't tryingto do blues clues, but I don't
remember off the top of my head, boy are you gonna do? I
forgot that song too. It thatsong was like on in my house all
the time, to find I thinkI'm singing find the map and combine in
if we just got a letter, which is two separate things, we are
going to play blues clues because it'sreally fun. There you go, there

(33:44):
you go. So according to Disneyand Star Wars dot Com, here's a
little bit of a tease of what'sto come in the Old Republic era of
the Galaxy Far far away. Accordingto them, there was a description updated
sort of the eras of Star Wars. We know we have Age of Rebellion,
we've had the Age of the FirstOrder, you know, raise era

(34:05):
Old Republic is kind of the thingbefore the prequels, saying that the Republic
is founded among the worlds of theGalactic Cord during the times of the Old
Republic, and a Jedi order emergesto protect it, a schism great WWE
faction, by the way, andNXT's got the Rock's daughter in it.
Within the Jedi, le's the creationof the Sith in this epic era.

(34:27):
So I'm thinking we're really gonna findout that the Sith is gonna maybe pop
out out of the Acolyte, whichis why we're seeing so many Jedi and
not as many Sith and promotional forthat movie or for that TV show.
That's interesting, guy. I thinkin legends lore, the Sith was a
race first and then became more ofa religion like the Jedi. But like

(34:51):
you could be a Sith without beinga Sith. Did that makes sense,
you know what I mean? Soto see that they're going to just spin
it out of there's row Jedi whothat's interesting. Yeah, I mean,
obviously the Old Republic, like keVsaid, we've had the video game,
a couple of books and stuff.Obviously we have everything that's kidding with the
Higher Republic and everything now going onwith Star Wars. But I think really

(35:12):
that TV show is going to bea lot of people's first glimpse truly at
the Old Republic and what it madedetail looking at you young Yoda and young
Young Sheave Palpatine. That's his firstname, you Casey, if you eat
you wanted to yell at him Sheaveyou're mad at because a bunch of kids
and made fund of war his name. But I know I'm gonna kill all
y'all one. Yeah, but yeah, so it'll be interesting. If anything,

(35:36):
I know I'm making out of aone sentence thing, something bigger,
but excited. Nonetheless, obviously withAsoka killing it with its first two episodes,
mind you have six episodes ago.I'm hoping Star Wars is kind of
back on the right direction on theupswing a little bit. Well for me,
I kind of go with what There'sa Star Wars podcast named Ken nap

(35:57):
Stock if you get a chance.I think it's podcast called the fourteen of
Podcast. It's really good podcast ifyou love Star Wars. I like what
he says about Star Wars. There'sno such thing as bad Star Wars because
everything that starts leaves, where there'sa book, a video game or movies
or TV shows, adds something tothe Lord that you can talk about.
And that that's I kind of wantlike it because even like you know,
Bubba Fett didn't do is great.Obi Wan was met with mixed reviews.

(36:20):
People didn't were really into Mandor Mandoeseason three, and Ra had his proponents
and its fans, but it wasn'tuniversally loved like Mandoe season one. But
all of that stuff together gave yousomething that you really like about Star Wars,
whether it's Obi One with the echoesof episode three, whether it's Boba
Fett and the they one of thegreatest moments of Star Wars history episode three,

(36:45):
when he said you can find creditsif you find somebody look for him,
and they did to call them Nando. That's still one of the best
moments. I don't care anybody says, I love that, and so whatever,
even the new poles. There's something. There's stuff in there that's really
really good. So even though it'snot, University loved it like it was.
I want to say, right afterForce Awakens, I'm still really really

(37:05):
in level the start Wars is doingright now. And I got up breaking
crisis for you, Kevin, becauseit happened. Guys, after six years,
six long years, the Nintendo Switchhas officially surpassed the Wii as the
third highest selling console of all time. I was hoping that the Nintendo Switch

(37:30):
news ended with now has roadblocks.I'll get that one off my back and
here's the new one. It's probablyhow it most likely would have ended with
Nintendo. But according to our friendsat games Radar and confirmed by IGN,
Switched just passed lifetime sales of theWii in the US during July twenty twenty
three, which means it is nowbecoming one of the best selling consoles in

(37:51):
US history, including global history,is now trailing behind the Xbox three sixty
by one million units in PlayStation twoby five million units to be the technically
greatest selling video game system of alltime. Do you think anything whatever beats
PS two as far as I don'tthink so. Just because, like it's

(38:12):
funny. As I watched a TikTokwhere it's like, here's people lining up
at game stop back in one, like two thousand and one, two thousand
and two to get the PlayStation intwo. I'm like, man, what
a different time. Some guy broughtout his girlfriend and that girlfriend was not
happy to be there in that videowas in middle school. Man, I'm
like, gosh, I'm so old, so old. But the cool thing

(38:35):
is, I'm make sure I gotthis right off the top of my head,
Like that means cool things. Imean, we we switched to eventually
is happening one whatever. It maybecould switch pro switch two, switch super
switch on the horizon, but thismakes it, you know, really dope,
really special that you know, Switcheskind of put its foot in the
ground of like, hey, we'rehere too, even though we're doing our

(38:58):
own thing. It's a great ofconsole for people that don't don't want to,
you know, spend five hundred andsix hundred dollars on a next gen
quote unquote console PS five and ina Xbox Series X and the game's on
there. You can't get anywhere else. I mean, you can't get Legends.
Legends anything like Legend of Zelda Tearsof the Kingdom on either one of
the other system. So there's areason to get a switch, yes,

(39:21):
and especially because I think everyone hada week like I had two wee's benefits
of divorce parents, you know oflike my mom and dad were separately looking
for weeze, not communicating to eachother fresh off the divorce. But no
big deal. But they like thestore another day. Let me invent that
this is my three therapy. Butreally cool that, like, I mean,

(39:45):
you have bought one for your kid. I kind of bought one on
my own. It's interesting to seethat instead of now just like the wei
was like, it's for families, the switches, it's for serious gamers,
it's for families, it's for parents. You know, I'm trying to actually
get her a wee right now becausemy brother in law, like like you,
has two weeks in this house rightnow. All these kids are basically

(40:07):
over the age of we uh.My youngest niece that he the youngest daughter,
is more into like cheering and actuallyhang out with friends now you knows,
having real friends and such. Butand his youngest son's a PC gamer.
He has no use for castles anymore. So I'm like, yo,
we're just sitting on these weeds andlet me have one. Like I can't
connect to anything. You ain't gotno games, I can't do anything with

(40:29):
it, but you know, I'lltry. It's interesting to see what happened
to auple Weeks one seventy years TV. I kind of want to see what
it'll look good or it look blurious. Hell, it really just depends on
exactly, but it's a cool breakingcrisis story that you know, Hey,
we're in a peak era of gamingright now, y'all. It is peak
gaming. And what's his name from? Kind of funny Paris Paris? He

(40:53):
tweets it all the time that wehave never been in a better era video
games. He's not wrong. Honestly, more expensive now because I don't think
when games come out every other weeklike in the eighties and nineties and they
would just know two bits, Imean, sixteen bit whatever that where you
know, seventy dollars a pop.But he's right, we have never been
a better area gaming. Maybe, you know, I'm feeling a little spicy.

(41:16):
Maybe do you want to punt ournineties topics or do you want to
save this idea I have for maybeMonday in loop in addition to our surf
Ninja review. What's the idea? The idea is we play in honor of
the late Bob Barker pop. Yeah, Bob Barker. H yes, I
got that right, right, Bob. It sounds weird on my tongue,

(41:38):
same Bob Barker. Is we doprices right? Rules on? Can you
figure out how much these systems soldfor back when they originally came out?
That's fun, Actually, that's actuallya lot of fun because even though a
PlayStation when it was five years releasewas what four ninety nine? Well,

(41:58):
I don't know. I honestly wait, a PlayStation four? You said five
four? You'll be surprised how mucha SNS cost exactly? All right,
So this is four Monday. Thisgive me a little time to work on
and get the stats, get theprices right. Theme song, you know,
get that ready to go. We'regonna do prices right edition. How

(42:21):
much does that video game cost?Video game? We'll do game and console
costs back in the day. That'dbe fun that we will be allowed.
So we'll do the console and thenone of its most signature games. So
we'll like the game Boy color willbe Pokemon. You know, PlayStation will
probably be like a twisted metal ormetal gear. That's actually good because I
have a pretty good idea how muchPS one, PS two, and PS

(42:44):
three games cost. That was likemy primary gaming. There's a block for
me with Gameboy games. I haveno d how much Gameboy games costs because
do you think they're so cheap? But because end of the day, Pokemon
cost twenty bucks but probably didn't.Pokemon did used to cost thirty bucks like
ten years ago. Then when everyonegot in their duffy when they put into
fifty dollars like five years ago.Maybe what we do and maybe we do

(43:07):
how much of the costs at lunch? What is the cost now to buy?
Well that that could vary. Thatcould vary, So maybe we just
do the original. We take theaverage. It could be as much as
this or as low as this.Okay, we'll just we'll find a site
we'll say that. Okay, sovideo game price is right coming to your
labor Day Monday. In addition toour review of Surf Ninja, I could

(43:30):
be your rod Ridy and call youdown today, come off screen and watch
me like, oh crap, weforgot to do Surf Ninja quickly, Kevin,
the plot Surf Ninja get one ofthose skinny microphones like bock her head.
It's like that big. I alsohave a feeling we'll quickly get through
the plot of Surf Ninja quicker thanother movie pluds. There's not much plus

(43:51):
Alvie, but the plot does notexisting well speaking, I'm a cool movie,
Kevin. Thank you for that transition. We have to talk about Good
Burger too, which is a realthing. Keenan and kel both coming back
for this nickelodeon the Paramount Plus movie. Thank god, I still somehow have
Paramount Plus for free because I actuallywant to watch it. Welcome to Good

(44:15):
Burger, Home with a Good Burger. Can take your order. Because I'm
a dude. You're a dude.She's a dude, because we're all dudes.
Yeah, exactly, Yeah, thisis cool, man. I don't
know. I don't think kids hadas good as nineties kids. I don't
know. I feel like Good Burgerwas a scene. Man. Well,
it's like we talked. We talkedabout I think was it last week or

(44:36):
two weeks ago when we were talkingabout Star Kid. Was that like the
nineties were peak kids are the heroesmovies, and we don't really have that
so much nowadays. There's a lotmore animated movies doing that instead. Yeah,
don't think that I can think ofright now. It's like that.
It's probably stranger things off top ofmy head. I can't think give anything
else that's marked it too. Youknow, a wide public that were kids
are the heroes and the adults they'recool, but the kids are the heroes,

(45:00):
you know what I mean? Andthe nineties like a problem. We
had this. It was Harriet toSpy, the Rugrats movie where the kids
were literally lost in the woods forsome reason. Matilda was also a good
one with the cake. You know, pretty much any movie that came out
during the nineties like that. AndGood Burger was another prom example of it.
About basically about it was a skinon all that. And I think

(45:22):
Keen and Cal had just premiered orit was about to premiere, and they
put them in a movie together becausethey had they had great chemistry. And
it's about a guy I wanted togo on to summer vacations. He ruined
his teacher's mailbox and I get asummer job to fix it played by that.
That's about of the movie. That'swhat got the movie going. That
was it. That was simple asMondo Burger. You know. That was
the thing too. Man, whata time mindo. And it was funny

(45:45):
because the Burger King had the toysfor Grimburger. I don't remember. I
don't remember. Nineteen ninety seven wasfour, so I can't really tell you
about the toys. I'm like,I got made it played with it.
But if anything, I think themodern interpretation of this, they need to
have a Mondo Burger pop up ortake over some restaurant because oh yeah,

(46:07):
or even good Burger whatever Mondo Burger. I think it's just cool good burgers,
like, okay, you know whatyou're getting. But whether McDonald's has
the specialty combo it's eds combo orsome issue like that, come on,
you gotta do that. That's easypromotion for this. Yeah, they have
to do that. It's going tobe harder than do that because I feel
like if they'll be paramount dude doesthat to a McDonald's or Burger King,

(46:28):
they're gonna pickt it, So it'llbe hard for them to promote like that.
Hopefully they can do that. Beforeall these after all these trikes are
done, because that that that thatthat's just that's just so easy to do.
Did the ice cream shop doing strangeof things? Yes, exactly.
And the pizza shop they're doing nowat Universal for the pizza place from Pizza
Boys or something whatever it was, dough Boys or whatever it's called. But

(46:50):
anyway, good Burger too. It'scoming to Paramount plus fingers crossed. It's
just just be better than Zoe oneO two. I think it will because
Keaton and Keil are She's behind it. They're making sure it connects to everything,
right, Zoey one O two didn'treally it was horrible, don't watch
it needed to be I'll shoot. What's the moving in a movie called with
Adam said of the Halloween movie, hue Huby Halloween. It needs to be

(47:15):
Huey Halloween Halloween or a bit higher. But it's ceiling is Hubie Halloween could
be Halloween. That's what needs tobe. But yeah, sorry, I'm
losing my voice. It would havethought forty minutes. That was a litmus
test. Don't know when the moviecomes out. We can't play the trailer
just because it will get taken down. But Kevin in honor of Goodburger too
coming to streaming service near us andour homes. Let's talk about the nineties

(47:38):
movies that need sequels and or comeback in twenty twenty three and beyond,
a lot of people that could doit. A lot of nineties movies had
open end and endings as well, that because they had left room fourth sequel.
But maybe they're making enough money, but it wasn't an interest behind it
that was palpable because there was nointernet back then. So there then a

(47:59):
few that couldn't come back. Definitely, yes, So Kevin, any immediately
come to mind. What do youthink nineties movie that needs a sequel or
come back? I would love asequel to The Phantom with Billy's ane.
Yeah, I love the Phantom,so fuch Son of the Phantom, you
know, child, Heir to thePhantom, maybe something like that, because

(48:20):
the movie is really about the Phantommental passing off from father the son.
Even little movie forever. I don'tknow what's taking so long? You know,
three four times? At this pointthe Night movie could be expensive.
It's a guy with an island somewhereand he fights crime. Oh it's hard.
I think if anything too, Likenow is the perfect we'll talk about
another one too right after. Thisis a perfect time to do kind of
par not parody, but like knockoff superhero movies in this era of just

(48:44):
like oh, let's make a movie, but where we can make it funny
or we can make it you know, satire or something like that that kind
of goes under the radar of Marveland dc Yeah, exactly. It's something
that's kind of like a moved onlycounter program, which is, yeah,
you have your series acting off thiskind of gaming, you have your switched
on it's kind of gaming. Yougo to Marvel and DCU for this kind

(49:05):
of superhero movie. This one iskind of like The Boys. It's Superheroes
was different, Yes, kind ofprogram. And also speaking of that mystery
Men, Let's do it again,Baby, let's do a follow up.
I know a lot of actors havepassed away unfortunately late Paul Rubens recently,
but like, let's do another mysteryMan, because that was way ahead of
its time. That was like parody, that was mocking and satirizing the nineties

(49:30):
Batman movies. Let's do it againin twenty twenty three, I would have
came out before The Boys was publishedas a coming Let's see, I'll look
into some digging on. That's interestingbecause I feel like it might have been
around the same time. Maybe we'rea little a little bit Diffisiman was ninety
seven, right, ninety eight.Boys first issue came out two thousand and

(49:50):
six, so we're good, you'reabout ten years old. But maybe he
saw that. I'm like, no, what I'm doing something like that,
but a little it's a little creepier. Yeah, I mean, whether you
make it gritty or keep it thefunny thing is I mean, Ben Stiller,
come on that. I'm gonna putthis out another Ben Stiller movie,
Heavyweights too. Let's do a sequelthey you know, with the kids going
off, the kids going to beexactly you know, we had the Mighty

(50:10):
Ducks, Game Changers and that that'soff Disney plus now got canceled. Give
me a Heavyweights too. It wasa Disney movie. Keenan will come back
for it. Yeah, I wouldwant any party come back for And then
the actual kid too, Jack,I'm a heavy weight. And Paul Feig
was in it. He wasn't directingit, but he can probably direct it
if they wanted to. Definitely coulddirecting a lotly man, I'm gonna watch

(50:32):
that. You know, that's oneof my favorite movies of all time.
Right, I love Heavy Weights. Its Die Blob Die. That's why we're
friends, Kevin. That's why we'reprobably maybe next summer, next summer.
All right, these are sort ofones that we've seen, just listed of
things, could have sequels, couldbe recasting anything. Top one comes to

(50:55):
mind. Edward scissor Hands. Wekind of did get the super Bowl commercial
with Timothy Shallow may timote shallowmey aswe say on this podcast, him and
renowned Rider kind of played older orhe played the son of Edward Scissorhands.
We know to write every price orcharacter, but older maybe do that.
I mean the movie that is onethat kind of ended a little open ended,

(51:17):
and if Tim Burton were to everrevisit movies, that would be a
good one. Yeah. Honestly, why can't remember him doing right now?
Was Batman Returns? But I'm sureit's another one I can't think of.
I mean Nine before Christmas too,Nightmare before Thanksgiving? If you wanted,
no, don't do that, don'tdo that. I still don't know if
it's Yeah, I mean, ifyou do Nightmare before Halloween, then you

(51:37):
solidified Nightmare for Christmas is a Christmasmovie. Sure, that's a good point.
At this good point. Any otherones you got, keV, I
was thinking of this is one thatI know. It's not like a a
strong one for me. But theheads is devoted fan base because it was
a character in Oh. She wotesthe movie to teems. Spielberg did video

(51:57):
game movie, Oh, Ready Playerone. Yeah, Iron Giant Iron Joy,
but the robot died the end ofthe movie, the giant robot.
I guess that's true. You're notwrong, Kevin, You're not wrong.
I think I was. There's thislisten, this pulp fiction would be a
good one, but Quentin Tyrantina willnever do that. And I think that's
one you can't really touch just becauseof it's of its time. That one.

(52:21):
It's just about what wasn't that briefcase? More than another story about that
that that world during basically this whatwasn't briefcase? And why was it serious?
Why was it glowing? Like? What wasn't it? I think a
good one that didn't get a sickActually, I don't even know who directed
that movie. We looked at upreal quick before I say what the movie
is, if it could even actuallyhappened nineteen ninety seven. I didn't even

(52:45):
know Luke Perry was in that movie. But okay, the Fifth Element I
think needs a reboot or a sequelor the Sixth Element, just because like
that was, like we said, counter Programming of the nineties of like this
is a space scipher movie set ina futuristic world that is not Star Wars,
that's not Star Trek, but likeyou kind of dig the world that

(53:07):
it built in just the one movie. Yeah, I think that would be
a great one because that's one ofthose things where you can it could be
the same world but a different typeof people, but still dealing with the
same thing about this essentially an avatarand basically fighting off other worldly spirit that
that'll be great. I'm another one. I think I would like to and

(53:27):
I think I know who I wantto direct it is. Hold on me,
I'm sure I got his name righthere. Kevin's got to do some
digging on it. We'll see whatmovie it is. Baby. I think
I want to office Space sequel, now a sequel or redo? No,
what let's do redo, I'll sayI'll redo, and I want Tim Robson
to direct it because I wanted tobe dark. Yeah. I think that's

(53:52):
the thing. Office space I thinkkind of ushered in. It didn't like
it wasn't the only one, butit kind of ushered in that workplace comedy
that you know, we've had theOffice Parks and I know this is a
movie, but ushered in series likethe Office Parks and rec and so forth.
I think and twenty twenty would belike interesting because it's not like,
well, that office type workplace doesn'texist anymore in twenty twenty three, you

(54:15):
know, and I as the returnfrom work from home, I'm sitting at
home in my underwear, my laptopon my bed, and two actually having
to go back and being civilized inthe office again. And if you watch,
I think you should leave. That'sthat's a lot of what Tim Robinson
basis is comedy being in office andoffice politics. I want him to do
that movie so bad. Yeah,I think it would be so dark and

(54:36):
hilarious. I think this is twoeasy ones, but these are two D
coms technically ones a series. Ithink they need to redo just because of
twenty twenty. I think any moviethat has that says twenty fifteen or twenty
twenty, and it's in its headlineor timeline. This needs to be properly
Now I look at your back tothe future, You're fine, You're you're
timeless. Xenon Girl of twenty Xenon, all the Xenon movies I think need

(54:59):
to be updated. Give us amodern protozoa that's played by one Harold Styles.
You know year that movie pulls takeplace in because are we passing,
yes Zina movie. Let's see Xenontoping and zer Okay Girl with twenty first
century. So the Ge movie cameout in nineteen ninety nine, the years
twenty forty nine, so it's abouttwenty years from now. That makes you

(55:22):
feel bad. I mean they we'regetting calls. But you know, maybe
have Raven comeback as a cameo likeshe did in the lots couple Zenon movies,
But like that'd be really cool, just to modernize that one another one
flip side of this, not futuristicin space, but futuristic in the home.
Smart House. They need to doSmart House over again because smart House

(55:43):
everything came true out of that movie. The only thing we don't have right
now is is an avatardic. Iguess we'll come to life in front of
you and be like an intensible eveneven Disney predicting that there would be a
fake boy band we will all rallybehind that would be Disney related. Looking
at you, four Star or fightwhatever. The turning red band is five

(56:07):
five five something five four Town That'swhat it was. Four Town, Yeah,
four Town, right? Another one. I had to also because I
want to know what happened after heleft The Truman Show would be good.
Maybe a follow up series could bea dark Grady series. Life was never
the same when I wasn't on TVbecause I feel like too. If you

(56:27):
follow Jim Carrey on Twitter or Instagramor interviews, he's gotten very existential.
So see him to tackle what wouldit be like to reintegrate into society after
having everything based on you and noteven realizing it. How does he actually
integrate in the real world? Thatwould be amazing. I think if it's
done the right way, definitely soundslike a movie that maybe like a christ

(56:49):
Christina looking do I feel like Igot two more? I think it would
be good speed. I think modernizingit, but instead of the bus having
to be above sixty or you knowwhatever. The boat one was speed to
cruise control, because good lord, none of us watch that one. Sorry,
Sandy Bullock. Uh, it isspeed heart monitor. It's essentially the

(57:12):
heart monitor your heart has. It'skind of like a little bit of Crank
that movie that Jason Statham. Butyou know it's got the speed title on
it. So your heart beat, heartbeat can't either go above or can't go
below sixty. The best thing abouttotally do it. It just means John
Wick. But your heart rate hasto be below or above a certain heart
rate. That's great. Oh Iwould I would love speed like that because

(57:35):
I say cruise Control was horrible.I don't even never And then what was
the other one? Hold on,I lost awesome Powers needs a sequel.
I think it just needs a fourthone. I think the third one,
like it ended, Beyonce great init. There's really ahead of the time
with Beyonce really what led to beyondthe I think the Beyonce Revolution we now

(58:00):
no we are in. But Ithink have a fourth one. I think
obviously you have to modernize a lotof the humor, just because a lot
of it is very of its time. But if that and I feel like
towards, like towards almost the endof Austin Powers three getting kind of stale,
you know what I mean? Yeah, But also Austin Powers three just
kind of like it kind of triedto do subvert its ending of like,

(58:23):
oh, it's a movie within amovie, I think sort of, and
it kind of ended weird. Ithink maybe just go back to it one
more time. I mean, Ithink I'm trying to remember Austin Powers cast,
Beyonce, Foxy, Cleopatra, Imean, Elizabeth Hurley we knew was
a fembot, but Heather Graham's FelicityShagu, like, have everyone come back

(58:46):
one last time as old people.I think Paramount technically would get the rights
to do it too, so thatactually could be a possibility to happening on
Paramount. Plus I love that line. I want to know what Formata only
two Bada fust was three years theone where they're running in that movie with
the Louis thing and the guy goesrun it's Godzilla and guys actually do the
crop right, laws it's not Godzilla. What I actually looks like Gozela and

(59:08):
he goes still, We're trying toget this Godzilla though it isn't and then
he started running yeah, and thenthe other another line he says, don't
about hating this world people who aretolerant other people's cultures and the Dutch.
Yeah, and that is very ofits time, So they would have to
figure that out. And probably alot of those jokes should probably be off

(59:28):
the cutting room. Floyer on thatone, and I feel like only Michael
Kay could live in that joke.Nobody else could do that. Cocaine.
But keV you got any more youwant to either see in twenty twenty three
or beyond. This has been onethat we've been saying for years, and
I think it'd be hilariously do it. And Bill Murray would totally do this
a Groundhog Day sequel. It's justthe same movie because it's still going on.
Here's the thing though, that soundsgreat on paper, but we've done

(59:52):
that so many times. Modernize oflike, oh it's Christmas relived all over
again. Oh, It's the FirstDate all over again. A lot of
movies have done it. I thinkit's a little bit more of a trope
now than just doing that movie again. I feel like a little bit I
don't know, Well, it cameout recently. I was like, they

(01:00:13):
can't remember it was. It wassomething that came out recently. There was
like the same thing happening over aday like movie. It was Schomp Palm
Springs on Hulu. That's what itwas. That's what it was. Good
movie, though, good movie.Good go watch it's on Hulu. Anything
else, keV. I think that'sall I can really think of, because
I think otherwise the well it iskind of being tapped. There's a space

(01:00:35):
jam. Two. They did anotherhome alone, Like there's a lot of
things, like they can't do sandLot in twenty twenty three because no one
cares about baseball as much as theydid in the nineties. Said though,
because sand Lot's a great coming ofage movie. Actually, I like coming
I didn't play baseball as a kid, and that was kind of like how
my friends were when we play baseball, Like they were they were characters,

(01:00:57):
you know what I mean. Igot one more for you before you wrap
up. Face Off two, FaceOn actually a face off movie with like,
oh, it wouldn't work if theyhate each other, but a Face
Off two with the Rock and BenDiesel or you just go back, and

(01:01:17):
I don't remember how the movie ends. John Travolta has another face stuck on
his face and he's like, notagain, no, but act actually,
no way, hold on, beforeyou do it, you include your idea,
but instead I switch you with oneperson. Three people switch faces,
so then he has to figure outwho has his face and who that person
is out of the other two people. It cancels itself. I'll speaking on

(01:01:45):
the Rock, it's not a nintiesmovie, but I think it's a thinking
about l eighties. I don't knowwhy they have not done another Twins movie
with The Rock and Kevin. Theyflirted living for some reason. I think
they're like done production on it,but I think it just never has happened.
Like it's so don't even write ascript. Just let Kevin Hart freelance
for an hour and a half ofThe Rock react to it. It's so

(01:02:07):
easy. I don't understand a lot. I haven't done it yet. Apparently
there was supposed to be originally aTwins sequel. Is supposed to be called
Triplets Back in the Day, withEddie Murphy being the third triplet. I
think what it was supposed to bea Twins reboot is what it was supposed
to do. Oh and then theysay they're making a sequel again with Tracy

(01:02:29):
Morgan, but now none of thathas happened. Obviously, Ivan Reitman was
supposed to direct it, but he'sunfortunately has passed. So maybe that's why
just we haven't heard anything after him. Probably him and they don't want to
do anything else until to get ablessing, probably from the families. One
last one. They can remake thisone. They don't need a sequel for
this Baby genieces. We remember inthe nineties we were obsessed with talking babies,

(01:02:52):
looking at that and whatever the eTrader website was with the other Super
Bowl commercial Baby Baby Jesus was great, but I also remember Baby's Day Out
Man a lot of baby movies twoin the nineties, and Baby Day I
was worried about the baby. Theyagain just uncircling untupervised, got out and
got walked away from a stroller outand his mom and just walking on.
It's gonna cause havoc. Reboot.I think this was Disney technically, I'm

(01:03:15):
not sure a reboot gritty reboot ofDunstan checks in, but instead of an
actual monkey, it's Andy serkis doingPlanet of the Apes, doing full mo
cop of Caesar as Duncan you knowwhat, Yes, yes, yes,
it's green Land. Andy serkis todirect and star in the live action.

(01:03:37):
It's just the live action movie, but the gritty reboot of Dunston Jackson.
Then he could he can do.You can do the camp of the Other
Chimp and be the be the butlertoo, reverse it make it a horror
movie. Dunston checks in, nobodychecks out, nobody checks out. You
look at the camera, slowly hitthe chimpsky the elevator ding ding ding,

(01:03:59):
and then it ends with monkey noiseas it comes to you. And that's
the trailer. Oh my god, that's actually terrifying. Come on, let's
write it right now. Kevin, all right, well that does it for
us. Let us know what ninetiesmovie sequel, TV show you think needs
reboot or a sequel or something intwenty twenty three. Are they as wild
as our ideas, Because here's thething, Kevin and I start off kind

(01:04:21):
of saying of like, oh yeah, that would make sense, and then
we just kind of just go onto craziness of like random mens movies.
But say what you want say whatevermovie you want. We'd love to just
remix those and so much more. But we will be back on Thursday talking
about another episode of Asoka. SomeTano talk talking Tanno Tano. Maybe that's

(01:04:44):
