and who lived there, this guyand who had to deal with it

there was high worse technically higher onthe list than DC based on traffic just

was like, oh my god,I don't want to do this. I
hate this, so I would avoiddriving into the main part of the city.

to go there like northern California.I mean, if you're gonna do a
whole road trip, you start inPortland. Then you go to Halloween Town,

Forks, Washington. Sorry about that. So you get knocked those two out.

Then you go to Seattle more andI've done that, and so actually
I think I might love go toFort Washington for Twilight. She's a big
Twilight stand. Well, it's thesame. Here's the thing where Twilight,
at least the first one, andI think parts of the second one where
it's film that is literally the sametown, Halloween Town is filmed then for
the first one. So you passby the movie theater and then on the

left is the book shop Bella getsthe Vampire book from Okay, okay,
the only thing I want to suckthose at. I'm gonna play the code
on repeat. Oh yeah, Imean you have to as soon as you
get lay in Portland, Like,all right, let's go through Portland quickly

to go one day to uh Vancouver, CW places, Big Belly Burger.

playing, lives we've been living.Because it is Monday, good sir,
you get to go first. Todaywas the first day back to school for
the kid. And this is herfirst day of her first day of first
grade, so no more ardens orgardens. She actually now is a yeah,

first grader. She has eleven moreto go, which is it sounds
a lot. When say it allowsa lot, it makes me sad because
you know, she's growing up andshe used to be this tall. Now
she's like this tall bump sitting down. And see here's the funny thing.
Is based on where Kevin was croppedoff. It looked like she said it
was an install. And now she'sa foot doll and she's just getting bigger.

She's so smart. So there's alittle bit of emotional this morning my
song. When we did that obligatorypictures online, you have to have people
that complained about that block us.Don't it's to ride a passage for us
nineties kids exactly what you're not goingto do post post children, your kids
going to school. It's exciting,so shut up. I don't like it.

Change channel anyway. So that's goingon over the weekend. Didn't do
much over this weekend, a lotof actually did a lot of more schools
of school shopping for shoes. Canwe talk about that too? Did you
guys have anxiety over back to schoolshopping more than she did? Yes?
Because for her it was just Iwant new shoes in new clothes. For

us, I was like, Okay, we have to buy this size now
because you're not gonna be this sizein three months, so we got to
buy this size. After that,Yeah, I feel like that's a parent
thing because I always remember, like, mind you, I don't have a
kid like you do, but likegrowing up, I always felt like my
mom always had more pressure on herselfto give us back to school outfits over
my brother and I having nice outfits. It is, it's horrible. It's

horrible. And but it's even worsethan that is back to school shopping for
food because she's been laying around thehouse pretty much all we all summer,
so everything was always she's going outwhile she was out. But now you
actually need to have stuff for herfor lunch and for after school as well.
Now, Kevin, this might bea lee question whenever she pops in
the podcast next, but what isher go to lunchable? We actually don't

give her any lunchables? Fuck,that's okay, that's very good thing,
actually more than anything, because she'drather have a full size sandwich. Yeah.
Yeah, So we gave her somelunchables once and she ate like three
of them one day, Like whoa, whoa, we can't do that too
much salt, well, and sowhat growing up as a kid, what

was your go to lunchable? Theregular kind is the turkey and a ham
with cheese, the little cracker sandwich. Yeah, I didn't like the pizza
ones I didn't really like. Uh, what was the other one? I
had that was weird? Was itall right? Well, I'm gonna tell
you because I know what it isbecause my favorite back in the taco Yeah,
that was it was cold meat pastethat you would put on the taco

and cheese on it and eat it. I don't want a cold taco.
I don't want a cold pizza.Well, cold pizzas is cool for somebody,
but done not for this guy.Well, so I go, why
why are we doing this to thefood? And this is the wild thing.
And I learned this because of TikTok. Apparently you were supposed to heat
up the lunchable pizza like it tellsyou on them in the instructions, put
in microwave for like thirty seconds.So you're marketed this product kids eat at

school at cold. Yeah, andyou were supposed to eat it up the
entire time, not eat it frozenor free like frost burn because of the
ice pack. Hey, miss Johnson, got heat up my no, no,
this is my planning period. Goback to lunch. So we did
a lot of lunch shopping yesterday.We sett the on mostly she likes seaweeds

for some reason. That's good.A bunch of a bunch of turkey,
bunch of ham and bread and uh. She also likes for us as easy
put froken nuggets for nuggets in herin her lunch both and since her mom
is a teacher, she's going toher mom's her food, so it's a
little bit easier for her for now. But then when she hits middle school,

she screwed. Yeah, I don'tthink I started buying lunch. I
staked a good question for you,she does. I don't think I started
buying my lunch until middle school.What about you? Fifth grade? I
think around then, just because Iwas like, oh, you're cool enough
to hold five dollars and you're pocketand that's it. But launch, it
was like maybe two bucks or somethinglike what do I do with this extra
three dollars? So yeah, mydad would even give me five bucks for

two days. It sounds like giveme twenty for the whole week. And
when you gave me twenty, Iwas like, I'm not eating this week.
I don't need to buy milk,and I'll be fine. I'll have
all this extra change. It waslike, I'm going to movies this weekend
because I got twenty dollars. Yeah, that's about all we've been doing all
week. I've also been I don'tknow if I told you I restarted Scrubs.

I'm yeah, and you enjoy it. I almost started the other day
because I was like, Kevin's watchingit, so maybe I watch it again,
And so we just talked about theepisodes. They're so good, it's
so heartfelt. I'm in season fournow, and it was funny. There's
a time in my life when Iwas actually really really depressed and all I
really did was watched Scrubs I repeat. So it's a amazing how like a

year of watching every scum TV Ihad on repeat. Now the episodes are
just like a part of me.So I don't even I can just hear
them. I know what I knowwhat the dialogue is, I know what
part, I know what music you'regonna come up with next, and like
this is crazy, I just knowthis. Well that's like, uh,
Star Wars A New Hope came onTBS the other day because TV had to
be on. I had it onand I was like, I already know

where we are. I don't evenlike I'm like I'll be wanting already did
this? You know? Han andLuke or here we're good to go.
Like that scene from Family Guy whenhe goes that's how it works. Like
you know music, you you canhear it from four rooms away and then
doing that part, and they're doingit the first there it is, don't
get cocky, Okay, get readymore get ready. That's all I'm saying.

A should be the first thing youdo when you guys get married,
to sit down and watch the entireWell, so here's the thing where so
I guess that's sort of transitioning tome. We are in the midst of
rewatching all of them. We startedwith one. This time we did too.
We're about to watch three just upto I think we'll watch the Last
Jedi because technically that's what she needsto watch for Galaxy's Edge, because it

takes place in between Force Awakens andin the Last Jedi, because I also
write as Skywalker is all right,but it's gonna be dope. You're like,
oh, yes, you'll see thatthese things pay off in star Tours,
but most likely Galaxy's Eedgine, youknow that I haven't written Star Torch
yet. I've been there three times, but guys, every time I haven't
starn. Did you know I personallyhad a handwritten autograph from C three PO

and R two D two while theywere touring that right, because they tore
every time you go, you knowit's the same R two D two and
C three Pio. What's that worththem about buck fifty and p memories and
childhood memories that made it. Buton top of that, I actually started

this season of Harley Quinn. Iactually I think we're talking about this last
week, but I watched a couplemore episodes the same thing. It is
like a lot of they're kind ofin a corner now and just trying to
figure out what they can do withthe characters. So it'll be interesting see
if it gets another season. Andthen my adventitions of Superman don't sleep on
it. There's about I think onemore episode. I think if I did

the math right, and it's reallygood and there's a big twist, not
a big twist, but the bigreveal you kind of already know if you
know you're Superman stuff, especially ifyou watch Superman Lewis, So that's what's
gonna happen. And then happy tosay more and I have completed our first
video game together because we finished Ithink I talked about this early in the

summer. We started Escape Academy.That's kind of just a different thing recreational
intimacy to do where it essentially isco op. You do escape rooms.
It's virtually it's on game Pass rightnow, so you need something with your
boothang or your friend or your oryour child. Definitely good game. We
finished it. Game was kind oflackluster because at the end, because they're
kind of teasing you up to getthe DLC, but because we have game

Pass, we don't have that.But in lieu of that, we have
now downloaded a way out the gamewith the two prisoners that's co op and
it takes two. So we'll bedoing those in the near future to test
our relationship. I've heard a lotof good things like it takes two.
Yeah, it'll be interesting. Wedid the demo I think when the game
first came out, and I thinkat the time More just wasn't mentally or

physically ready for video games of thatcapacity where she had to be involved with
it. But now we've done onetogether. I think now it's like,
oh, we did one board game, one puzzle, let's do the next
one. Yeah. The only gameat least and I really played together is

know. Well, my nephew isaround. We do play a lot of

what's it called quip quip quick blash. Yeah, we're all about the jackbox
games. That's sort of the familygame of like my switch is mostly Jackbox
games and Zelda. That's what itis. But other than I don't think
we have no we do play cooknot cooking, Mama. What's the game

play it overcooked a lot. Sometimes, Yeah, we can't play it that
more. It gets too stressed withthat game the orders. So I try
to play with Leah maybe like amonth ago. She got so stressed she
threw the controller down ran in herroom. I was like, oh my
gosh, this game because especially becauselike I kind of get two into him,
like I need three pacons or thepacons get out of the way.

I need the pacon. But youknow it is that sounds like it's a
fun game, but it is not. Unfortunately, it could be fun.
I think when we played with withme, you Jobby and uh what's your
what's your brother? Was it?I think it was brother John. Yeah.
I think we were a good match. It was going smoothly. But
then sometimes if one bad level insteadof one bad day, it's one bad

level. Ain't you're gonna send thechester. My brother and I play Overcooked
and we always yell at each otherand we play, and that's how it

I'll agree to it. It'll bedifferent like last time. It never is.

gaming league where instead of drafting footballteams and or players however you play fantasy
football or any sport, you're draftingvideo games. Essentially, you're giving points
based on how well the game does. If it does above seventy gets positive

points. If it does worse,you'll lose points. On the first year,
Kevin won one hundred twenty points toninety nine the first year, Kevin's
big hitter, which is cool.I could go back and see it it

five percent done, but we're notdone because a ton of video games still

year at least, and then ArmoredCores six Fires of Rubacon, which came
out last week, got me fifteenpoints. Kevin's games that have come out
so far include Hogwarts Legacy fourteen points, Final Fantasy sixteen, Street Fighter six,
whichcot twenty three points. That's hishighest one so far. He also
drafted Burning Shores Horizon for Bin West, You'll see Fire Emblem Engaged, Destiny

to Lightfall for Spoken, which forSpoken, which lost some points early in
the year, set him on adark path, a dark path starting in
January. And then the last gamehe has that's already come out is Pickman
four. Here's the thing right now, I'm sitting out one hundred and sixty
two points mainly because of Tears onmy first like stack of games is really

stacked when you think about this year. But here's the thing, Kevin eighty
one, so double the points rightnow. But Kevin does have some contenders.
Kevin has Marvel Spider Man two onhis team. He has Hollow Night
Silk Song, which who the hellknows when that's coming out. You have
Fort Sephimotorsport which last year one yearthat did really good for you or two

years ago Mortal Kombat one which looksgreat. And Super Mario RPG the remake,
which, for all intensive purposes,could be the last real release of
Charles Martinez Mario, which could giveit boosted points because of that. Yeah,

Creed Mirage which probably sit out eveneighty or even seventy, even eighty.
I have Super Mario Bros. Wonderwhich could be good, could be bad,
Allen Wake two, same thing,and then the main hit her Starfield,
which comes out this week, andI'll find out if it's a dutter
or not. I think you getwith Starfield. I guess I'll talk about

this right now a quick while we'rethere. I found a loophole to play
Starfield and said, loophole is whatgood sir, so I found out that.
I mean, I'm not found.I knew my wife, my wife,
my sister had an Xbox Series S. I didn't know she had a
game Pass. Thus your boy willprobably be just streaming her Xbox One to

my computer down here, Sield.Well, here, you don't even need
it, you just need her account. And then you just add if she
has game Pass Ultimate, you getthe PC version of it. That's a
good point too. You yeah,technically x Xbox, but Xbox on PC
whatever you want to call that.And and then I'm also the PS five
controller can work with any game basicallyalong to connect it to you me.

So I'm just like, I'm set. Well let's talk about it, because
I mean that is it was agood transition. Good on you, kudos.
Starfield comes out technically this week Septemberone. A lot of review people
already have it. If you havegame Pass or the game Pass version of
the game. Technically, this isthe confusing part, you won't be able
to play it until six but ifyou've bought in the Premium edition, you

can play it five days early,so you get to enjoy it during your
Labor Day weekend. Kevin how hypedare you now that you have access to
Starfield to play Starfield, I'm prettyexcited to play a first party Xbox game
with meeting. They not saying theydon't haven't any other party Halo. They
have fortsa, they had what wasthe moment the vampires that came out nobody

liked exactly that's all you're needed rightthere. But they had a few but
nothing that haven't really meant anything.And I feel like the Halo franchise this
is since it's left Bungee has notbeen the same as it was before the
left, so this one feels likeit has a little weight to it.
It feels like it's more of anexploration and based mass effects of exploration plus

more story. I've read a fewthings about people being upset that I guess
Space to Planet Planet Space will bea cut scene, which is I mean,
you can be asset about it now, but if the game's gonna do
so much more than just go toplane and go to space, I mean
I get it. Yeah, Imean there is aerial combat, aerial spatial
I guess combat in the game,so like you're not missing out, and

I think if anything, it's likeFAM if you wanted a game that is
never ending and does that type ofstuff. That game would never exist because
people would still be making that gamefor probably one hundred years. You know.
It's called Noman Sky and it cameout of Suck. It wasn't good
until first Yes, correct, Sothere's that, and then I would say,
so I'm actually pretty hyped about Ihaven't actually played a Bethezda game,

probably fall Out three. Yeah,same thing for me. I obviously I
kind of dabbled in the Dishonored gamesand those studios that got bought by Bethezda
are now you know, owned byXbox, played the Wolfenstein games, but
a true Bethesda Game Studios game,like a Fallout. I dabbled in Fallout
four just because it was at thetime and Xbox One game that came out.

When it launched, kind of gotperplexed by everything that was build your
own shelter and all this stuff thatwas like, yeah, it was the
precursor to fall Out seventy six.Never really got into Skyrim, I'm sorry,
and fall Out three never dabbled in. Just didn't have the Xbox at
the time to play that game.Unfortunately, because it was in DC but
I'm excited for this. I thinkit really is, like you said,

that good blend of mass effect witha Bethesda game. I think I've talked
about this already, but I'm hypedas hell that I hope it's true.
Someone was able to make a replicaof the Millennium Falcon in the game.
And that's what I'm instantly about todo when I create my own ship,
because I don't like And that's thecool thing is you can import those designs
