that? Also, I finished myplay through the Spider Man DLC, so
I'm obviosually done with the story partof Spider Man PS five. Did you
love Hammerhead or do you aided Hammerhead? At the end of it? Hammerhead
DLC is not great. Yeah,it's DLC, so it wasn't in the
game for a reason. They areparts of it was pretty cool, but
um and I'm gonna spokes because dumbeventually you find a Hammerhead and robot and

this is stupid and where does itcome from? Which first you're about dude
where basically it's like RoboCop, butHammerhead, that is an interesting thing?
Is I feel like most DLC usuallydoesn't live up to what you expect.
I feel like Arkham City's DLC mighthave been the most exciting one, which
it was the Harley Quinn thing,but that was really two hours. Maybe.

Yeah, Arkham City was cool andArkham Knight one was cool because they
were DLC's. I was still partof the main story and it wasn't like
it's what happened after everything was over. It was really just you could actually
play that interplayed with the story,and Arkham City was one that still connected
the story that just ended because Joker'sstory Joker died breathing UM. Seeing the

chatter, JP Perry b JA survivorum. But the chat were you surprised
about the plot twist? I'm justcurious. I'm just curious, Toad Perry
Um. Probably not because it's allover TikTok. Literally like as soon as
the game came on, that guysucks like a man. That guy other
than that Um, I had areally boring dad weekend, clean the kitchen,
cleaned the bathroom, when car shoppinglike it was. It was literally

like a wholesome family weekend. It. Oh, I did finish the Bear
and Man Taylor the Cousin episode withTaylor Swift. You're like, I kind
of want to listen to Taylor Swiftright now. Oh my gosh, he
won me over that. That guy'sa great actor. I thought he was
kind of one note in and Orbecause we all kind of saw what he

did coming. And it's funny.Is now you and I have to go
watch at least those what two orthree episodes of and Or again be like,
oh, it's cousin now. Buthis complete I guess what's the word
I'm looking forward to turnaround in Thatepisode was great. I felt good for
him, um, But then thefinal I've never seen a masterful like I

guess writing of episode TV where it'slike things are great, but things still
suck, like they were successful buteveryone hates each other exactly. They got
to start from square from from thefirst square square one again when whenever that
show comes back, because I'm prettysure it might be a whild forfore it
comes back. But yeah, Ireally really like it is that to show
you can rewatch, though I'm notsure that showed you can rewatch. I

think obviously you'll probably rewatch it beforethe third season comes out, lord knowing
when that show season three will comeout, But I feel like I don't
think so because I think it's sodramatic like drama Field that's like, oh,
like uh, you know, yeah, And then also actually saw rewatching
Archer because Archer premiers either this weekor next week. Um, it's the

final season. Um. If you'venever watched Archer, lets you never watch
Archer. Please watch Archer. Itis hilarious. It's a it's a perfect
blend of dumb and smart comedy.Like it's like a little bit of a
family guy with the dumbness and thena little bit of the more heady with
with some of the Simpson stuff.Yeah, but it's such a the futurama

as well. But it's such agreat story. If you don't know what
Archer is, Archer is basically acartoon about a spy agency. But like
the gist is what does James Bonddo when he's done on the mission?
And that's what what is agency andhis friends? His crazy friends? Yeah?
Have you watched Archer? I havenot. I have too many other
things to watch, so you can'tget me on it. It's a background

show. And then I'm not sayingstop what you're doing. Watch definitely if
you just like I don't fee likelike anything too intense throwing Archer for a
while, you'll love it. Um. But other than I think that's all
I've done this weekend. Oh yeah, my turn, um so more and
I wedding real talk is we're doingsave the dates and that's a whole thing.

have smartphones and I'm sure they wantaccept your phone, have email, just

so let's go ahead. And makesure we're able to ly seventeen. Yeah,

on WrestleMania ticket Watch because WrestleMania fortytickets go on sale now, I think
sixteen days from now. So you, myself, Bro, and my brother

John one Miss Eric V we'll atten o'clock on two fridays from now try
to see who can get the bestoptions for tickets for the best price.
Yeah, we'll see what happens.It's funny though. I don't know if
anybody wants to do this, butI remember when I went to my WrestleMania
in twenty shoot sixteen. Wow,it's wow, it's crazy. Um,
we found that the easiest way toget the best tickets is to go to

the box office. I don't knowwants to try to Philly. Who wants
to take off on three fridays fromnow and go to Philly Because we were
we were looking online to get ticketsfor NXT then one night and online the
seats random getting the online that theywere like one hundred and sixty five bucks.
At the box office they were ninetyticket face maybe ticket massage. Yeah,

so I would like it's only anhour and a half. Maybe I
should just take the trip on upthere and find a parking spot, you
know what I mean. I mean, Kevin, if you're willing to use
one of your days off, Ihave a lot of days off. I
have two days coming off nextly.There you go. But so we're doing
that, Plans hopefully for that inthe future based on how that goes.
But on top of that, continuingto watch My Adventures with Superman on Max

it's technically adult Swim Cartoon Network.It's really good. It's three episodes in
and just the Superman the Lowest dynamicis really good. You actually like the
lowest character, which I know that'softentimes the problem when just people are like,
I don't want Lois, give meSuperman. But in this Lois actually
is a badass, which is reallydope. Um. And they're both like
younger versions of themselves that you wouldsee in Superman and Lois. So it's

kind of a cool cross set crosslook at the both characters. They're going
back to the Superman movies in theseventies that lowest was a bit off.
M Yeah, I think that's thething. It's just the lowest I think
Superman has kind of always been thesame Lois Is. It's interesting that she
changes the most with the times,but usually it's it's obviously it's never usually

like positive, like I try tomake it positive, but then it usually
sets the character back most of thetime. I like the lowest on Smallville.
Back in that thought, I thoughtshe was really cool Erica Duran Say
or Dante. She was cool,and they actually the one of the man
Lod's pretty cool too. Actually Idon't mind her either. Yeah, but
it's really cool. Just the showis really just setting up like its own

universe, which is cool because Iknow we're going into the DCU, so
this could be a thing that JaneGunn kind of said when he announced everything
will be else worlds like Batman,that it can still exist, but it
won't be Cannon. I know theyannounced a bunch of things it's at Sandyo
Comic Con two, but they weren'tpertaining to the DCU. But we'll get
to that in a little bit too. Yeah, I come remember he did

say a while ago that they wantedeverything to be the same games, movies
and at least under the same labeling, Like if it's not DCU it's this.
It's not like here's Spider Man.It's kind of how Marvel is,
where Spider Man's it's own thing,the X Men used to be their own
thing, and an mcu is here. You know, I would love to
see how you pull off like abecause I don't think we've really seen a
successful video game character to movie transitionwithout in the same world yet, So

I don't think a flash game wouldbe pretty cool. So that's the way
to be bab the flash and thenhe comes running in. Whatever doesn't love
might be kind of cool, justsaying just saying, that's what I've been

felt after both seeing Oppenheimer this lastweekend. Doom Doom, doude man.
Uh So, just a little funfacts set setting the table. Barbenheimer weekend
is officially in the books. Itwas the now fourth biggest opening weekend for
box office of all time, behindInfinity War just coming out Endgame on its

own coming out in Star Wars,The Force awakens. These two movies made
it up on number four on thatlist. Yeah, because I believe Barbie.
They say Barbiegill made one hundred andfifty million, and I'm in eighties.
That's a whole lot of cash,but a lot a lot of records
broken. I think Greta Gerwig gotthe biggest box off opening weekend for female

director. A lot of stuff likethat too, which is really cool.
Um. Obviously, Kevin's wearing pinkwearing black because of Barbenheim. We didn't
even really think about that. Wedid. This is totally thought of that
plan, like how we started theepisode early. But uh, I've seen
both of them, Kevin, You'vejust seen Oppenheimer, right, yes,
and then your wife and daughter didsee Barbie this weekend once. I'll probably

yesterday I was gonna go, butI was on my feet all day and
say I was like, I havefune, I need to sit down,
Restie. Here's the thing. Whenyou texted me you were seeing Barbe Oppenheimer,
I thought, oh cool, he'sgonna go see it. And then
he made Leah and Alicia go gosee Barbie on their own. No,
Kevin just went on his own togo see Pop and nimer No. Um,
I need I needed some sometimes,just need daddy time. He sounded

just quiet in your thoughts time,not thinking. And I'm getting to the
age now where I liked historical movies. So above all else, Imheimer is
definitely a dad movie. It's definitelya movie. I saw a lot of
dads in the theater. I wantto see this and it is interesting,
Like I think, well, obviouslywe we We'll talk about Openheimer a lot.
Um I did. I it wasfun to AMC. I went to
AMC Tyson's to go see Oppenheimer.How did you see Oppenheimer? I still

had a Cinemark XD, So yousaw XD, not Imax or any other
good stuff. I wasn't d anywhere. That's good. Let me know,
I'm not drawing. I saw itin seventy millimeter. I know we talked
about this last week. Um,but it was really cool because I think
the first time I've seen something inseventy millimeter, which is supposedly supposed to
be ten k I guess. Butif anything, it took up the full

(14:26):
screen without having to be like agiant IMAX, and it was really nice.
Um, what road did you sitin? Oh? Well, this
is why I get a little classy. Oh quick, though, I read
an article I said that seventy millimedidn't have any trailers. That's true.
That was this, So that wasthe Imax version of it. So if
you did the one that's got theyou know, seven hundred yards version of
reels on it, they couldn't puttrailers on because essentially it's cool. I

noticed this. They had a switchover the projector and they couldn't do that
with that big ass Imax thing becausethey played the trailers like fifteen minutes of
trailers and then there was like thirtyseconds of the guy literally like pushing the
other one away, pushing this oneup coast. Sound like a yeah,
pretty much. That's why I getclassy. So the cinemark I go to

(15:13):
in Towson has a reserve section,so it's basically like remember those old guys
in them up a theater. Yes, that's where you basically said, above
the rest of the theater. That'swhere I said, I said, in
the reserve section on the front row. Okay, all right, so I
got a little classy. I satthird row. It wasn't too bad,

(15:33):
but I did. There have beenpeople i've seen do in front row that
everything looks distorted because they're in thefront row of everything. It was a
picture of somebody of somebody's uh screening, They took a screenshot of well seats
were available. There was literally oneguy that bought a seat like center row
front and it was everything. Otherswere able to run him like, who
is this sick of um? Butyeah, it was really cool, um.

(15:56):
But a lot of people saw it, did Barbenheimer where they didn't buy
the two pack or whatever AMC wasoffering, but they were literally they timed
out their Oppenheimer screening plus trailers,had a thirty minute turnaround and then went
in to go see Barbie or viceversa. I was talking too. Yeah,
when I went to I went togot to the theater. There were
a lot of people people in Barbiecostumes around, and I was assuming everybody

who wasn't there in a Barbie pinkwhat's going to see Oppenheimer. I talked
to a few people. One guythat said, yeah, him and his
wife just got out of Barbie andhim and his daughter, her and his
daughter going home and he's going togo see Oppenheimer. So he'd been in
the theater barb with the family andnow he's staying staying it back and watch
Oppenheim by himself. I actually didExpress pick up for the first time,

(16:38):
where you order your food or popcornor whatever ahead of time. Fun fact
is I did the kids meal andyou can upgrade the normal candy for a
dollar more. So I got candy, a small popcorn and a drink for
ten bucks. So I was like, hell, yeah, that's how you
cheat the system there, baby.And that's another thing. I went during
matten a time. So the reservesection during regular time, if you going

at seven o'clock, it's like atwenty three dollars ticket. But now the
per kids, though, can wego into a rostection? You had to
go up up escalator. It's likea bar up there, like it's like
a restaurant field to it. Soit's a little bit more than just getting
your candy. When you buy thatticket, you get a free medium sized
popcorn. So I got that ticketfor like eighteen bucks of a matinee,
so I got popcorn for free,and I got a little back of Eminem's

in the water, and I waslike, oh, this week I'm getting
getting out of snatch like nine bucks, it's like twenty. This is awesome.
Another pro tape also is if youwant to see Oppenheimer in like seventy
millimeter, it's the same price asa normal movie ticket. So they haven't
they at least I didn't get upcharged to go see that in that format
like how you would before an IMAXor a Dolby or an XD. So

(17:42):
if you're trying to see it alittle bit better, try to treat yourself
a little bit. Seventy millimeter mightbe where it's at for you. Yeah,
I think I might want to seethis again and like a seventy millimeter
format, maybe even in a IMAX, a true IMAX format. But I
said, I thought the IMAX inthe Science Center what's real IX? I
think it is, but I don'tthink they carry actual movies anymore. So.

(18:04):
So the thing is I found thisout the we don't have any of
those IMAX theaters in the DMV area. The closest one too, it is
the Udvar Hazy Center near me,like in Shantilly, Virginia, because they
have like pretty much the same ratio, just isn't the quality or something.
So if you want to go allout it's booked for like three weeks.
But do you because the last movieI saw to Maryland Science Center was I

think it might have been Dark Night, Oh Eighth Man, and they I
think they stopped showing movies and thenthey only show educational stuff there. Now
I'm actually only education for you.But Kevin, Oh, before we go
into actual thoughts of the movie,I sat next to someone. They it
must have gone to like KFC orsomething, because they had one of those
matched predatables they were eating during themovie. I was like, what is

that? Some was like green beansin here and it was eating green beans.
Nope, just a matched predatable.Actually, it's funny you say that
because I saw I got about yourgrandpa's age. But Chipotli blurrido. But
but since he's older, he worethe cargo shorts. Oh he's smart.
He's smart. He knows what he'sdoing. But Kevin, what did you
think of Oppenheimer? Oppenheimer is probablyone of the of all of all the

Nolan movies I've seen. It's probablyin my top five. But it's also
one of the most entertaining non actionmovies I've watched in a long time.
There's not a punch thrown in thismovie. There's not like running. There's
no high action in this movie whereit's like, you know, we got
we gotta get away to get thegoods. It's just people talking. Yeah,

(19:36):
and I was enthralled, Like literally, I got a large I mean
large, I got a medium kettlecorn, So I don't think about that's
the mark. They have kettle corn. They don't have had a large kettle
corn. I ate kettle corn constantlyfor the first hour and a half of
this movie. Yeah, and Iit's like and the cool thing was this
movie felt like it was two moviesand one because you kind of spoiler you

have it's not a spoiler because happenin her life. The I'm doing the
Trinity test for the bomb and thenthe after effect. It's kind of like
its own, like almost our ishmovie. And that's kind of like a
Chris Nolan's special. Remember the DarkNight. They defeat the Joker. Everything's
okay. Joker Tefedia, he's hangupside down and you got him. Oh
no, two Face has Gordon's kid. They deal with that now. Yeah,

(20:21):
the movie just kept going. Um. But yeah, this movie left
me in a really, really kindof a weird mental state. Um just
it kind of remind me of thatline from um uh Ternado two when they
see the kids playing fighting on thegun and uh, the guy goes,
we're doom drant we as a people, just kind of because when you watched

the movie making, it's not reallyspoiled because it's this history, read a
book of Wikipedia. Um. Assoon as the bomb test went off,
there was packaged up and sent offto war. It wasn't like congratulations the
period. It wasn't like now gonnause this now, thank you yep.
Um. Oppenheimer had hope once theydid the test that would be all they

have to do. To listen,we can do this now, so we
should know everybody because they can't.And it was like, I think this
that it's gonna be funny. Bothof these movies, This and Barbie are
gonna do very well at the Oscarsor whatever happens if they happened next year,
because those also need writers. Soif they do, you know,
if the strikes still going on,those can't technically happen the shows at least.

(21:29):
Um, but just to have likeRobert Downey, like this cast was
stacked Robert Downey Junior shined obviously,but all then Aaron Reik aka Young Hans
Solo coming out the wazoo, goingbeat for beat with r DJ Shoot,
the go from Forgot from the Boysis in it. Jack Quayde's in it.
Um, it was funny. MattDamon was so good, it was

really good at it. Everybody elsewas so much better than he was.
Even his good performance was was like, I guess shaded upon because everybod else
was so amazing. Yeah, andlike Rommy Malex in it doesn't talk for
like the first movie of this movie, and then the second movie comes back
in and then the guy from fromWinning Times in it as like the Prosecutor,

(22:11):
he was amazing. Um. EmilyBlunt the back half of this movie,
she went from not talking a lot, Oh my gosh, she's she's
she's a real you know what likeand then of course Cillian Murphy just killed
it. Killian Murphy. Killian Murphy. I'm sorry, they're good. Killian
killed it. Basically, the firstthing I saw him in whatever was twenty
eight days later, and now I'lllook at him. I think that we're

(22:33):
going to get a twenty eight yearslater movie. By the way, so
you get ready for that. We'relike, we're not close to twenty years,
but it's been at least twenty hasn'tit. I don't know. I
honestly don't know. Quick, butyeah, I enjoyed the movie too.
I think it was really fun justto like see all of it happen and
like, you know, we kindof we all everyone takes World War two
history stuff in history class like inmiddle school, high school. But then

uh, yes, Kevin years istwenty eight days later. Well, so
we're close, so in seven yearsfrom now you can actually legally have that
movie. Um, but I thinkwe have it from this perspective where like
the war isn't the thing that's highlighted. Really like this movie wasn't super patriotism
like a lot of other war movieskind of are. It was like,

this is about this sci group ofscientists really in the aftermath of creating something
that is everyone's. Um so Ihad to play it again. Um,
but yeah, I really enjoyed it, and I think it's a it's a
it's a three hour movie that itdoesn't didn't feel like a three hour movie.
Yeah. Um So I want toask you this too. In the

(23:38):
lead up to the Trinity test actualtesting of the first eight ball. What
was what were your feeling Because asthey're raising the thing up in that tower
and everybody's getting get into these stations, I was like like breathless. And
I think one of the part mymain question when that was happening was where

the hell's Josh Peck in it?Because I remember us getting very high.
Josh peckwar was in this movie.He was in it for that one scene
and that was he pressed the button. But as they're getting ready to drop
that thing, I looked at mywatch. My heart rate was like like
one twenty five. I'm working out. I was like, oh, I
think that's that's like the beauty ofit. Christopher Dolans that like we know
what happens, but like you're anticipatingit so much. Um also shout out

to Ludwig uh because you know LudwigGornson who did Mandalorians and Black Panther.
He did the score for this.He did for Tenant too, but this
one was like really good. Ireally appre I like his musical choices for
every scene in this movie. Itwas almost like it was like like Norman
said, be like han Zimmer butnot ham Zimmer that got your fam Yes,
this is the modern version of whatthis movie should be now with music

and now and then even at theend the twist of again not really spoilers
because it's it's history, the twistof Robert Downey Jr. Actually kind of
being the bad guy. Yeah,it really was like like, all right,
come on, we got to gethim. We can get him,
right, come on, prove him, prove him like turning a little bit
of like a like a trial movieessentially. Yeah, and he was.

I mean, unlet's be honest,we haven't really seen Robert Jenny in anything
but iron Man for a long time, unless you watch Due Date, which
I like, I love sure likeHoms as well. I think he's gonna
trapic Thunder we like, but wedon't, you know, it's a whole
name. It's been a while,so he's been in anything besides that.
He was so I hope, don'tget me wrong, I want to see
iron Man again one day. Ihope he gets some more dramatic roles off

of this. When of they endedup striking, but off of this,
he was so good as as Iwas named Strauss and Also, it's funny
as I'm watching all these actors popup, I'm like kind of like endgame
ctual actors and said character, theseare all the noble actor And that's the
