Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome back to the nerdy news you need to know
throughout the week on IHET Radio. I'm back services around
the world because my name's Honey.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
And I'm Mike stand Kevin and you're.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Officially listening to the Baltimore's Sun nominated Best Podcast of
twenty twenty five of what Kevin.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Crisis on Infinite bo only took eighty years, but no,
they've never never seen.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Enough got nominated, So we will talk about that in
a couple of minutes. But be warned, the intro is
probably gonna sound the same until May sixteenth, and that
is the remind people to vote, so you can skip
thirty seconds then you'll get actualty of news stuff. But
we got a jam packed show for you today. Kev's backs.
We're gonna hear how how life has been. Did he

(01:01):
like and or did he not? We'll find that out.
We're gonna talk about Revenge of the Sith Was it
worth than in forty X? And I'm glad one Gyles
makes art is in the chat as well to hear
his opinion, talk about the Last of Us Season two,
episode three, if Kevin's wife is caught up essentially and
our big topic with summer movie preview because it all
kicks off this weekend. Baby truly with new Movies really was.

(01:25):
People didn't say Sinners is what kicked it off, but
Sinners were really kicked off or man, Minecraft kind of
kicked off the summer movie season.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I'm actually exciting that we're right now, we're planning a
double feature of Saturday with Sinners and Thunderables.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Ooh, that's bring a diaper. I'll tell you that, just
not just for you, but for your kids. Due oh no,
then going okay, he got a money six months Kevin said,
I don't get popcorn myself. I can't buy pop over
for these kids.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
I bought you other food I can pop on.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
This is a pro tip. If you are worried about
having to buy a big ass popcorn, just get the
kids meal version of the popcorn. You get the small drink,
a small petite popcorn, probably an actual human serving size
of popcorn, and you can upgrade for a dollar get
a candy with it.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
So movie theaters be like, be like Cinta Mark and
have Kemel corn as an option. I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Evan once said he's tired of bringing his own seasonings. Dammit.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Yes, it's very, very very very very cumbersome.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I've seen the bottle.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
The flat bottles been very round.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
It looks like something different in your pocket, and that's okay.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
It does and I don't like walking around with it.
It's weird. Put you anymore. I like, I'm not wearing jackets.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
I can't my shorts. She's gonna go so low. But
you can see ever we're gonna talk about today so
much more at Infinite Underscore Pods, Audience Gram or the
X Gonna give it to you or keV. Where can
they participate in this podcast if they want, when we
recorded live or later whenever they want to.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
You can go to YouTube dot com slash if Underscore
Pods to watch us on demand at your own leisure.
Scroll and scroll and score and watch us think about
talk about things when they were announced and then that's
what we saw. It's kind of cool. Or you're gonna
join us live twice a week, Twitch dot too, Sumtunderscore Pods,
join a chat and join the fun, and don't forget
to come to twitch right because right now we have
the link. We can go vote for our podcasts in
Baltimore Sun.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Yeah, and we always start the podcasts with something I
like to call what You Doing, where we talk about
the shows and movies. We've been watching games, we've been
playing lies, we've been living normally. Because it is Monday,
Kevin will go first, but we're gonna do a double
dosage news story because as of right now, starting today,

(03:33):
as this podcast recording, it's a Monday recording. By the way,
friendly heads up, we'll be recording on Monday and Thursdays
throughout May, just for the last of us and and
or because we want to talk about those shows and stuff.
But we have been nominated for the Baltimore Suns Best
Podcast category this year for twenty twenty five. It's our
first time being nominated. We are excited as hell. We

(03:54):
are gonna try to push as much as we can
to get this dub because I don't know what we get.
Maybe it's a piece of candy, name it's black, but
who knows, And.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Part of my morbid curiosity, I don't know what it
means if me a person who works for the Baltimore
Well because in a broad in a broad game of
Baltimore media, Fox forty one of our Fox forty five
owns the Baltimore Sun as well, and that means their
competitors to the b al W on THEWS radio. So
what happens to me, I'm employee of Hirst Media with

(04:25):
an award for the outlet, you.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Know, Kevin. In that case, this is where we do
our loophole where you can get us certain certain awards
and nominations because where you work for and I can't
get us certain nomination awards for where Eric for. That
way we can get all the awards you know.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Exactly if we do when expect the picture of Hoodie
and Eric in the Baltimore Sun and not me.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
And then they'll be silently. There's a space and that's
where Kevin goes. And I'll be like, all right, Vin, here's.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Your actual ward war.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
I don't tell anybody, but don't invite anybody from work
over your place. You'll be fine.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
I'll show you a bit moj remember big Bogi's back
in the day bit moji.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Kevin will use man Kevin, Oh, gracious, throwback days. But
why we want to talk about this now in the
beginning pie before we lose people. If that's really okay,
vote now. You can vote every day at least once
a day. Use as many emails as you want, if
you want it's all like, oh, I have you know,

(05:17):
a spam email, work email, and a casual email. Use
them all. You can vote once a day up until
May sixteenth. Sough do it in honor of mornized anniversary,
in honor of Star Wars Day, you know, like do
it because we do it. We'd appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
And Lulu's sending Vemos a cash app to a Hoodie
Moore for the anniversary. Just vote technical Bucks.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
May make me, you know, a great husband she can
brag about by saying he won an award in Baltimore.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
He won an award Baltimore.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
That's my man, that's my that's my husband right there.
But you can vote well, we'll obviously have it in
the link if you're watching Twitch dot tv, slash inf
and on the score Pouse, we'll having the podcast description too.
You can click it. It takes your right to our
page where you can vote just for us, so no
other option. Just vote for.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Us, voting right now exactly.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Kevin's doing it right now. But yeah, we're excited. H
And then we find out in June if we want
it all or not. So Baker's crossed. It's a quick turnaround.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
We'll be across some fingers tight see what happened real.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
And if we do, Kevin, you know what I'm gonna
I'm gonna on a podcast, deliver you a pizza and
see if it gets to you within the podcast.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
It won't, they could.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
I just gotta find the right wall wah, right next
to your house and they'll be like, you're going wat
wa pizza. It's the closest fun.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
I'm currently actually using my daughter's name first for me.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
That's okay, thank you, thank you Leoh. We appreciate that.
Thank you for voting for us. Thank you school email.
But Kevin, now we've gotten that out of the way,
even though that's really fun and exciting what you've been doing,
good sir, h so funny.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
I actually talked about co work this morning. This is
the first weekend in a long time I did not
pick up a video game controller.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
That might be good for you if you're in a
long scheme of things, you know.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
I was because it was a rough Friday. Because Thursday, Kira,
I don't know what she was going through. I don't
know if she had a gas or a nightmare, but
she would not sleep all Thursday night till Friday was
rough for me, so the boy had it was so
bad and Hoodie could tell remember this when we worn't
work together. Whenever he saw me with a mountain do
in the morning, he knew I had a rough morning day.

(07:18):
It's definitely a mountain dy morning on Friday. So when
I came home, I just kind of just melted into
the couch and just watched TV.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
And okay, you deserve that sometimes, yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
And then Saturday, I was basical to pick up video
game and Sunday same thing. Sunday was church and grocery shopping,
which is always fun at Costco Sunday afternoon. Or I'd
like to call it mad Max Furry Road. That's kind
of the same thing. So did I pick a video
game introl this weekend? But I didn't watch a lot
of things. I did watch and or all three episodes

(07:50):
and it's really good. It is really good. I kind
of like the three episode four Matt, So.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Do you watch them all on one day or do
you spread it up?

Speaker 2 (07:56):
I watched two one Saturday and one on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
I think that's the way to go, which is why
we're recorded on Thursdays now for and Or is just
because like three A lot just happened right now and
I can't remember. It's dense, So I think I'm plan
right now.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I think I might watch one Tomorrow night and either
two on Wednesday or one one on Wednesday and one
on Thursday afternoons at some point if I come off.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Work, I will say.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
But my main takeaway, I guess criticisms of it is
I was so happy when they were done with that
stupid rebel troop.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Okay, so too, it was so stupid so much. I
didn't mind that too much because I mean, that wasn't
much different than the the song for the original Return
of the Jedi when they when they blew with ye yep.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
I didn't mind that too much. One thing I didn't
I didn't know if I'm not sure I feel about
I'm not sure I feel about sexual assault in my
Star Wars. I don't know if I like it or not.
It was definitely a choice.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
I think it definitely it definitely like is it happened?
But I think it is also part of like Tony
Gilroy is very good at like at least with and
Or show of putting in realistic things in Star Wars.
I personally, like a lot of people, I saw it
through great TikTok over Beco was like, say, what you
know about the lightsabers and the ships, but it's the
new knobs and buttons that Star Wars gives me and

(09:19):
any new shows. I'm like, oh, those look cool. I
want to touch it. You know, ship was amazing, Yeah,
it was amazing, Like I think it is those unfortunately
that it's very realistic thing. But like you know, Cyril
and dedre dating and then Cyril like being flaced down
trying to disassociate on the bed, like that was the
funniest thing. But because it was so relatable, I'm like, yeah, court,
Star Wars characters do that.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
And then other thing I think I really didn't like
it was because the character Binks is her name, RIGHTIX,
He's meant to a lot, and I feel like, why
are you picking on his character so much? You know
what I mean?

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Well, and this is a funny thing I completely forgot
because I watched the recap after all three episodes just
to like remember, I'm like, oh, yeah, season one and
Or was looking for his sister. I'm like, I hope
they don't do a Luke and Leon. I don't think
they are, but like, just because I had to like
refresh on what was going on with characters, I was like.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
I hope they're not.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
Like Biggs is his sister the whole time, I don't
want that.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
There's a secret but nobody knew. But other than that,
I thought it was really it's a really really good watch.
I'm kind of looking forward to the jump forward and
see where we're going next with it. And it's kind
of like and it was almost kind of like she
wants the word of the series. I was forgeting about it,
Like Black Mirror. It's like, you don't know what you get.
Next week it's gonna be toty different vibes and or
next week.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Yeah, how do you feel about the end episode two
where the planet we found out what planet there on?

Speaker 2 (10:35):
That was cool? It was cool. I like that a lot.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
And here's the thing. We might see the formation of
the Yavn Bass, which is pretty cool because it happened
two years before the battle before Javin b B. Why
it's a good point.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Maybe it's old, but I know what I'm calling it.
That's what's happening. I'm calling it.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
I think I think we're gonna get hair. I think
Haro will pop up. I think that's an easy dirty
have her for Ahsoka Mary Elizabeth Winstead. I think, right, yeah,
so like, hey, have a pop in. She was doing
rebel stuff anyway during this time. Why not exactly? Reeling
Chopper is an easy one too. I guess yeah, they
are kind of confirmed.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
They were getting all of them back together. Say four,
he passed away, he died and that's okal season too,
So that's that's pretty cool too. Other than and or.
I also, for some reason, I started watching Black Lightning again.
I don't know why.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Did you see a clip on TikTok? You're like, okay,
maybe maybe I'll see what Like, no, I was.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
I was scrolling through like last Tuesday night or last
Monday night and Leah, no, because it was to day
and then watch Wrestle. I watch Wrestle on Monday and
legal it what's the Black Lightning? I was like, really, well,
let me show you what black Lightning and I forgot.
Oh this show isn't for kids.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Go wait, Leah, you can't watch This is a deep
superhero show, deeper than the other ones you can watch
the other one you watch Legends that you got exactly.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
But it was fun. I finished season one and now
I'm in the middle season.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
I'm like, I forgot how fun the vain villain of
the season one pretty much.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Basically the zombie. I forgot about the cool the music
pieces for every battle one is like a action It
was like an action movie. Song was like, no, let's go
find a soulful song from the sixties, vital.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Like it was really and it worked every time.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
I do feel like because the short of that guy
is a deeply h ion't come with activist, but he's
really he's really knowledgeable about political events. I feel like
he purposely hired like worse or white right, white actors
and the black actors so they can seem much more
racist when they deliver their lines because someone of it
is terrible.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Maybe maybe, And I did one thing I did take
away from watching all I miss hearing the.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Wh I missed that that was like a thing for.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Us Kevin when one night you would hear three times
it was Legends, aar and Arrow and Flash and they're
all the same night for one time.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
I know, but it was just like it puts me
to the movie because it was always the jingle and
it was the Arrow.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
I mean, the c W was smart. C WS like
was on par of Netflix for having an open little
jingle jangle and going.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
So, I don't know, maybe I'm done this back and
watch the Flash again. I don't know what happened.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
That's a that's a big name, Kevin. That's a big
the first four, third, four seasons. Okay, then we'll call it.
We'll call it quits after the Thinker or whatever his
name was, first.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Four Arrow, first four Flash, and we'll see my legends.
Because I'm stilling over. Everybody did letr and lowest.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
You could start that, you didn't really start that.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
So I watched the first season. You're right, I never
watched some seasons. Actually, there you go too. Other than that,
I think it's all I've done this weekend. Oh I
did say uh. Before we recording it, I had a
window to go see Star Wars Revenge of the Sith
in forty X and I'm just some window, but it
was I had a good reason for it. Though. My

(13:51):
wife had to go to a funeral and my daughter
didn't want to go. I was like, dang it, you
sure you don't want to go.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Oh guess what. Guess who's gonna go see Star Wars.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
Now she didn't want to go, so that up to
my window because they'd have been gone for like the
length of the funeral and they had to go to
some school thing. They had a mother daughter tea to
the whole window. I could have gone and watch Star Wars,
but said she didn't want to go, Like, well, Frederick's
a half hour away and if I don't, I'll go.
Now I'm not going to see it.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Watch it on Disney. Plus, I guess I.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Do have the go VI. I can do.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
I can do lights there, the smoke, Hey blow on
my face. When this happens, it'll be good.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
That's all's been doing, buddy.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Yeah, So we're gonna talk about Stove Revenge of the
Sith after this, just because I feel like it was
the big thing over the past weekend. But your boy
did get a lot more hours in Indiana, Jones. I
think I'm eight hours in. Just left the Vatican City,
which I know a lot of people said you kind
of want to quickly go through the Vatican. I didn't
learn that lesson until it's too late. But I think

(14:51):
it's a really fun game. It definitely didn't learn a
lot from Uncharted and tomb Raider in all those games
of like, oh, Uncharted mastered everything by Uncharted three and
then four happened. This, I think is going through the
same path that if we do get a second Indiana
Jones games, it will refine all those things and be
like the tightness tight Knit is the game of all time,

(15:13):
which is great.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
It doesn't seem as frantic as I'll chart it.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Yeah, it really like I haven't used my gun at
all since I've been in the game, mainly using melee weapons.
Sneaking is kind of hard, but it is fun, like
it's really just finding treasure collecting all the notes, which
like I'm down for that. That's my type of game,
you know. And it is fun because there are there's

(15:38):
like each level, I guess each area smost have one
like big supporting character that you go back to and
it's cool just like, oh, here's the mission and you
learned some stuff about them, which is really cool.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Sounds fun. I'll probably never play the first person things
kind of throw me off.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Yeah, that's the one thing I don't like. I mean,
I'm fine with it, but it is weird to like
the menu pauses on like the lily of the last
scene you left Indy at, and then it holds onto
him for a frame that cuts the first person moment,
like just stay in third person, like I like, if
you're you're I think I said this on Thursday, Like,
if you're gonna pay for Harrison Ford's likeness, like, use

(16:15):
it as much as you can.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
I would they kind of like Bethesda and Bethessa, like
your choice third person on the first person. We did both.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Yeah, it would have been interesting because you know, I'm
playing on PS five if they said, oh, with PS five,
here's an update to switch it, like a GTA or
or any of those games. Yeah, yeah, But overall, I
think good time. I think a good game that has
great moments. But I think if they do get a
second one, that's when will truly be like, you gotta

(16:42):
play this game. And an eight out of ten I
think right now is like a seven and a half out
of ten. But a good time overall.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Still, speaking of ratings, I don't know about you, but
for some reason, I've gotten old school Electric Playground and
shoot uh x play videos streams in algorithm and it's
so cool watching.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
Old now I probably will thank you Cavin. It's always listening.
And then just pretty much on top of that, Saturday,
we had a dog adoption event in Hein Social for
the morning show, which is great. A dog actually got adopted, Husky,
which is really great because he's not even on the
page anymore. And he was probably like at least he
was a big grown husky, so probably at least two

(17:21):
years old. So that's really great. That one really well.
And then we'll talk about the other stuff with Star
Wars like a minute. So to worry.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Actually, I had a husky growing up, and we could
not keep that thing inside the fence. It just wanted
to be free.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
I mean I get it. Like if you see a husky,
like I can adopt that right now. Yeah, I mean
people like huskies like that, and that's okay. There was
a dog. I will say we were real close to
getting Teddy a brother or sister because there was two dogs.
One was Lola and one was named Rascal. Lola wasn't
at our event, but she she was like Teddy's height,

(17:57):
she was like four years old, sort of been like
Teddy's so like I've been perfect. Uh and then she
got adopted, which is great, happy for that. But my
boy Rascal, that man needs to get adopted because he's
a dots in Chihuahua mix, a little bit like Teddy,
a little bit bigger. He's I think he was three
years old that home dude is. I don't know why

(18:18):
he didn't get snatched up, So I'm assuming he'll get
snatched up this week most likely. People are waiting on
do you ever for see you guys be the two
dog family. We think about it, but then we're like,
we're spending so much money on Teddy right now that like,
now let's add another one into that. I know you're
dealing with that too, because you have two kids now,
but we don't get a tax credit like you do
with two kids. Guy, what you.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Gotta do is, actually you gotta find you can't get
a pure you gotta get a mutt.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Oh reason the muts' they'll live for twenty five years.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Oh yeah, Teddy's gonna be a robot. I've said that
on this podcast before. He's gonna be a robot.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
And for some reason, with months their medicine, just go outside,
need some grass to.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Be fine, No, Teddy, Teddy's allergic to grass. So that's
not his that is not his medicine that at all.
But Kevin, let's get on into it because of his
time for the new No no no no no no
no noam. First things first, let's talk about Revenge of
the Sith in forty X. Brother. So, in case you

(19:24):
missed it, I did. I get it. I get it.
We uh. Oddly enough, a lot of people asked me.
It was like, HODI, why is in Revenge of the
Sith coming out in theaters May fourth and in forty X.
I'm like, well, Thunderbolts comes out this week, so that's why.
And Daisey's like, we're not doing that. Gonna dissect the
costs of forty X for two theaters, you know, or

(19:45):
two movies.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Figure it out. He could have alternated screenings.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Well that's well. I found out they did do that
because The Accountant Too came out last week in case
you didn't know, which I don't think a lot of
people knew, And that was the evening forty X screens
that the theater I went to in the morning was
Star Wars, which does make sense because Star Wars would
have made more money at night.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
I kind of want to see that because John Burnthal
and Ben Affleck.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Little see it on Paramount Plus or whatever whatever the
hell it comes out. But yeah, it was really great.
John brother John came up. I know, we talked about
his future brother in law, so his wife's brother came up, Dennis,
his boy Airis. I hung out with them in Miami
at John's bachelord party last year, so really tight with them.
They came up, We went to good Stuff Eatery and

(20:28):
let me tell you the benefit of living in DC.
It took on a Sunday, took me ten minutes to
get right in the heart of DC, which was great
Sunday at eleven o'clock. Perfect loved it.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Sounds good because I mean you said, you said something.
DC trunic can be very, very unpredictable, and it was
on the way back. It was four times the amount
of time it took me to get into DC.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
But that was great. They had never had good stuff before.
The Homeboys ordered two burgers each, so they was hungry, hungry,
And in my head, I'm like, you guys know, we're
seeing a forty X movie right, Like that's just gonna
be You're really queasy from that, yo, I thought that.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
Eating two burgers back to back, it's just discussing.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Hey, I don't think they had breakfast. We'll just go
with that. But we went to the theater. We saw
it in forty X if Casey didn't know. The only
ones in this area really of our main listening area,
there's two in Frederick, one in Frederick, I think one's
in Winchester, Virginia technically, and then d C is a
regal gallery place that's the main one for this the

(21:30):
DMV area. Yes, the one outside Capital One Arena. And
it was interesting. I'll tell you that, Kevin, because we
got there, brother John's excited because he's looking for that
popcorn Darth Vader bucket or whatever that has the removable
helmet and all that stuff. Got there, they said, yeah,
we sold that out in the first day. We had
the stock, and I, of course you did. We've seen

(21:52):
the tiktoks everyone bottom like three weeks ago that he
had hope. They had hope, and then I was like,
that's what ail. They had the snow white popcorn bucket.
But he didn't want to. You don't want to buy
that one.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
Was doing.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Don't. But we got in theater was great. We got
there ten minutes before we got in our seats. And
this was the three of them's first time in forty X.
Obviously we saw the rocks Cours this movie last year,
Red One, That's what it was called there. Yes, I
kept confusing rogueing with it, and uh so I knew
what to expect and so I got made sure we

(22:30):
got the best seats we could that like the most suits.
Too good we did. We sit in there and I
love that this happened. Is the trailers start and the
trailers were for d X, so like they would they
would move. There wasn't really fog or anything, but just
kind of calibrating the chairs a little bit to a degree.
Before the movie starts, we find out our chairs aren't moving,

(22:51):
and we're like wait a second, oh no, And we're
like looking around and like we're just stationed, like we'll
move like a little bit, like every like two minutes.
But the people next us going like they're playing the
Accountant and the Thunderbolts train. They're going up and down
and Forlorenes Pugh's jumping off the building and they're fine
with her, Like this isn't fun. So Jarn went to

(23:14):
go talk to the manager. That took a lot longer
than we thought for being a Sunday. And we hear
the opening crawl and I'm like, damn it. And I
went with them because I was like, I'm not gonna
make him leap by himself and like, let me go check.
And we got the thumbs up from John's boy aires say, hey,
seats are kind of working. Maybe they calibrated or something

(23:36):
for the movie to start. We sit down, they do
the like the opening like five minutes of just showing
you the coroussant battle. Seats aren't moving at all.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Damn it.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
But luckily the manager came out within thirty seconds say hey,
just move to these seats in front of you that
were empty. And we sat there. Perfect. The seats are
pretty good, well, not as good as we got, but
they're great. Turns out there was another group behind us
that have the same issues. I don't know if they're
like directly behind us, so maybe it's that section of
the theater. Yeah, but they moved the other empty seats

(24:07):
next to us, and then seats were great, seats moved
and everything. You know, at least you had had to
have the experience the whole thing, just like sitting there. Yeah, well,
if we did, I've been in real piss. We packed
thirty four bucks or twenty four bucks each for this.
You know, I either give card or my money back
on two. But forty X is the method. Aaron Giles
also saw it in forty X. He said probably doesn't

(24:28):
count to it does count towards theater experience. He had
Chipotle the first time before the movie. He said he
appreciates Kedoba more. Chipotle is also dirty to do before
forty X movie. That's a lot of bustling around with
the Salsas.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Yeah, I think I haven't totally see you in forty X,
but I something I'm surprised with you she does. It'd
be funny.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
And I think the coolest thing is and Kevin and
I experienced this and we talked about with Red one
is doing like being in a forty X movie makes
you giddy, It makes you laugh, it makes you joyful,
like I'm just having a good time. Like literally opening
scenes we got seated right before. He said, this is
where the fun against that worked out. That was perfect
for us to start. But like the ships are twirling

(25:09):
and they're crashing and we're like going with them. We're
up and down with them. A lot of smoke, a
lot of wind when there was waining. No water effects unfortunately,
and you do go to kashik and there's water spraying
effects of erin Graulse. Tell me if you got water effects, and.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
They when did you? In space? That's not well.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
I thought, you know, maybe the lava. They said, okay,
we'll give you, We'll give you waterva, you know something
like that. There was heat that was fun for the
must of far scenes. And there's one like thirty second
scene in this movie that's on a snow planet. It's
the Kiyati Moondi scene, the big old tall head. We're spoilers.
He does from water sixty six. Like, guys, this one
will get the snow effects. The snow machine went with

(25:51):
some snow and that was it. These what you get.
The scene was like twenty seconds. I do think think
Regal Gallery Place Party doesn't upkeep the forty X theater
the best to his degree, because it is in the
middle of the city. Let's face it, right by Capitol
one arena. And I assume forty X you need you

(26:14):
need someone in a little like chairlifty to get up
to the actual fans and everything, like yeah, damn it,
air gals had water and snow, damn it to go
to the Frederick one. Lucky you best you damn it.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
A little bit further dry might have.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Hadd it man, manhat it's worth it for the Biscuit
to go to Frederick. But yeah, it was a fun time.
I do think overall, forty X is fun for like
a re released movie. I think a new movie, your
mileage may vary because like you don't really know is
it gonna be worth the forty X. Like we knew
Revenge of the Sith that'll be worth it. We know
all the battle scenes and all that stuff. Because when

(26:54):
there is in Revenge Sif there's not a lot compared
to some of the other movies, a lot of some
talking scenes. You're not doing too much like it's just
a normal movie. See at this point that that has
some stirrups at the bottom, you know, like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
A forty needs to be like an actually very like
a multi layer action mission impossible.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
Mission Impossible probably be the obviously Thunderbolts this week. Mission
Impossible comes out later this month. I'd be like the
next one Superman, Drastic World, fantastic for those type of movies. Yeah,
maybe a Pixar.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Would be amazing. Yeah as well.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
Yeah, especially especially like like Jurassic World would be cool.
Like when a t Rex pops up and they do
the yeah, and he's like, oh, so someone's coming over here.
But I think it's worth it and it's a pro tip.
The fiftieth anniversary of a New Hope is in two
years the next Star Wars celebration, So that is the

(27:49):
one you need to see in forty X that dog
fight at the end.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Dog Hell, yeah, they're coming in too fast. Good kid,
don't get cocky as as one kid that Oh my gosh, Yeah,
it's gonna be great.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
Pull up.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
I'm definitely I'm not going to that one.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Two years from now. Saved the date, Kevin, probably the
week before May fourth. They'll probably haven't re released in theaters.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Yes, that's definitely happening.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Canceled my plan two years from now. That's what I'm doing.
There's any graduation, Sorry, I gotta go see New Open four.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
No, because she'll be in fourth grade. No, No, graduation is.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
So good, Aaron, his best the best scenes were when
you were in a starship. But I thought Aaron. The
jerks were atat exist If during the lightsaber scenes, so
when they have the Battle of heroes, so Anakim or
Zobi won. Anytime they're swinging, you're swinging with them. So
they got one, you're swinging with them. It was dope.

(28:44):
Same Revenge of the Stift in theaters, the game was really cool.
I know more. And I saw Fan of Menace last
year the day after our wedding, so we're exhausted. That
one is fun. There's a lot of politicking in the
beginning in the middle of that movie, so that's why
Smorn fell asleep. But Rent is safe. Just forget how
very action heavy it is. It is you know, the
CG guy is weird and wonky and the dialogue is fun.

(29:06):
But in our theater crowd went lyddy for when the
Young Leans scene happened with the Jedi temple and someone
everyone yeah, and then someone in the front whon, y'all
are sick.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
Massive Skywalker? What are we? What are we going to
do now?

Speaker 1 (29:26):
Well, grogu gotta here. Why did you guys get out
of here?

Speaker 2 (29:30):
But I'll.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Bigs Zach wactor Yeah, come on, But I think cool
thing is a lot we all kind of collectively said, like,
it makes you want to go watch you know, the
Grogu scene, the from the Kenobi scene and the Inquisitor
girl who grew up and all that stuff. And obviously
like the Clone Wars episodes of tie in and all
this good stuff. It's really good synergy. And I think,

(29:54):
you know, for we have Tals on the World coming
out this weekend, but no big, big Star Wars thing
coming out. It's a perfect it's the perfect time for
that movie to come out.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Well, I mean, I've experienced this a lot, especially since
and Or has been released. So there's basically two, maybe three,
but really two sets of Star Wars fans. There are
Star Wars fans who will make Star Wars fans because
of the original trilogy, and Star Wars fans who made fans
because of the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy. Me
and you fall into the second stet of fans. I

(30:24):
feel like a lot of the guys have fallen to
the old other fans are the ones that love and
Or and like it's the best thing since sliced bread.
It's the best thing Star Wars has done since Empire
Strikes Back. That's fine, if that's your opinion, can have
it as whatever. But for us that experienced the original
trilogy through the prequel trilogy first and then it's the
subsequent Clone War series. When you watch the Clone War

(30:45):
series in entirety, REVENDEREDO the Stiff is such an amazing movie.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
Yeah, And I do think it's just like like every
revetted to the SIF is probably the most memes Star
Wars movie. I feel like, maybe it's probably debatable, but
like just a good time. And I think it really is,
like you said, like it hits you in the nostalgia
feels because like your boy was eleven ten or eleven

(31:11):
when Revend and the Smith came out, and like I'm
a grown ass adult now and like I can't buy
all these damn toys, but you know we're gonna have
a good time. You're a married man, I'm married. I'm married,
but I'm a marrieds But but if you do get
a chance, go check it out. I mean it's it's
the same movie and as it is on Dizzy Plus.
But I think it just that collective experience we talk
about all the time, which is why we do the
theater review part of when we do movie reviews. Uh,

(31:34):
definitely makes that movie just even better because everyone in
that theater wants to see it again. It's not I
mean lo and behold. If there's someone in there seeing
it for the first time, got good for you didn't
see the other two.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
But that's a cool thing about re releases that you
get the people that actually want to see the movie.
So you're in there with like minther people. You're not
in there for people to who are there sarcastically or
there to review with notes like no, I love this movie.
I'm gonna go see it again. Yeah, that's a cool
thing about that. By the way, did you see the
story of bright Stele's Howard saying she wants direct the
Basement New movie?

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Oh yeah, bruh, Like that scene happened, Like, oh man,
can we get I don't take in an animated form.
I don't even care if Samuel Jackson can't do it,
like put an animated for him, I'll watch it.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
I think it shouldn't be a movie, it should be
a special.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
Just make it like Kenoby, I mean Kenobi with six
episodes and then be done. I mean Kenoby. I think
there is potential beginning of the season two but like
say it's a limited event, it is where Mace end
it up and then obviously he'll die or sacrifice himself.
I think there's a lot where like now we have
the Mall show coming in the near future, like there's
like the door is still open, like until you see

(32:40):
that guy get stabbed, like they're good exactly.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
I see him actually expire and disappear into the force.
He didn't die.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
Oh let me tell you, bro. If you like the
they had a lot of flashes for that scene when
he died with the lightning. You're like, oh, this is
a lot. I am awake right now. For sure.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
He's evil and nothing. You should have lived nothing. That's
a life lesson. Sometimes you don't need nothing.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
Just take a nap. Take a nap instead everything we've
been fine, We're gonna sandwich taking.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
Nap be fine.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
Uh yeah, overall, go check it out if you can.
I know Thunderbolt is coming out and we're gonna talk
about summer movies too. But worst case in here, what
you should do is watch the last four episodes of
Clone Wars. What's the first two? Then ready to sift
up to order sixty six, then third episode, then the
back half of Revendi in the last episode of Clone Wars.

(33:38):
You're good.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
It metches off together, very very very very very very good. Hope,
hopefully we'll see they definitely figure out a way to
make the new Quols palatable, because right now there's just
three movies that happen, not really altogether.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
We'll find out, we will find out. But Kevin, let's
talk about other things that dominated the weekend too, because
was the last of us We already had its thirty episode. Yeah,
we got four episodes left. Uh, and it's it's interesting.
This definitely was the fallout episode of last week's big
old death that we were wrongly predicted when that would happen. Kevin,

(34:14):
has Alicia your wife caught up on season two at
all or now?

Speaker 2 (34:18):
No? Right now she's upseessed with Conclave because of the
Pope's death.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
So have you been watching Conclave at a little.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
Bit of third the other day? And then she also
watched the Two Popes and I was like, wow.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
We're just watching all the pope movies. A very catholic
weekend in a non catholic But yeah, this episode is
really good. It definitely is setting the pace for what's
to come. The rest of the season, and it'll be
interesting how they end this mid like because this essentially
like they gonna end it in the midpoint of the

(34:50):
Last of Us two, which your boid did order. And
I'm excited because I got it for cheap, so hopefully
I'll come by like Friday, we're gont done with Indiana
Jones so we can start playing that too. Excited, But overall,
I think Dina. It's Isabelle Murcatt. I believe right.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
I think it's her name.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
Make sure I get it right with her name. Isabel
Murad's been Mercede Murcad has been killing it. I'm excited
to see what she gets as hawkgirl uh in the
Superman movie because I think she's doing the right path
of like people are like. She was also was in
the Door. She was Dora in the live action Dora movies.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
Not a bad movie. I watched them with Lee when
she was like four. This isn't terrible.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
Not mad about it. I'll watch it again.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
I'm not I'm not gonna you know stix us out
ten years from now.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
But but yeah, if obviously, if you didn't watch last
week's episode that was the big old death and this one,
they pointanly did a three month time jump, and then
it was like, we've kind of moved on, so we're
not really dwelling in it too much, but we'll pay
our respects and then move on with the plot. I
just think it's cool because spoiler if you don't watch
the episode, they're going to Seattle, which is where Abby

(36:02):
and all the bad guys are. And I'm like, so
they got there, and the one of the last shots
is they look at Seattle on the sea scaping, like
I went to that building. I was in that building,
I worked there or whatever, So I'm excited to see
just like what Seattle landscapes they included, Like, that's that
target right there. I went to the target all the
time when I was there.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
I remember the Seattle days. We tekrific slack on each other.
I said, I work three hours after it was to
be gone, so we can record that. That's that's friendship, okay.

Speaker 1 (36:34):
And I paused work for three hours and then said
I'll get back to it.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
Both work three hours late for the same reason.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
That's okay, And that's why we are nominee for the
Best damn Straight Vote. Now it's in the Lakes. But
it is cool just because damn what uh Danny Danny
Ramirez who plays Falcon Joaquin Phoenix or Jouquing Torris. There
we go. He I'm assuming it will be the mini

(37:01):
boss that would be in the game next And he's
perched on top of the needle like overlooking for like
the bad guys. I'm like, that's pretty cool. That's where
I would go too, to overlook the city.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
It's funny I did, maybe because I'm not entrenched in
Last of Us because I don't watch it as much
as I should. I thought it'd be a bigger reaction
to Pedro's death, and I think.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
It just because the game came out five years ago,
and yeah, everyone kind of has played it. They played
it during the pandemic and or you know, they watched
the show and then they're like, oh, let me play
the game now, or I know what's gonna happen. I mean,
I've seen the tiktoks of like all the couples being
like the person who played the game being quiet and

(37:42):
the person who didn't be like you knew this the
whole time. Not as bad as like the Red Wedding
or you know, Pedro's death in Game of Thrones.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
He had him beat, He had him beat, He just
had to glow. God damn.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
But I do think also, I mean, I hope and
I assume that Pedro will appear in flashback episode, maybe
in some sort of vision type thing, hallucination thing, just
because you gotta get your mindage with him. Because Homeboy
Home dudes already moved on to Fantastic four. He's like, well,
did my episodes for the Last of Us and here's

(38:17):
Ran Dazak four. Guess what? And now here's Mando.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
I mean, that's probably why what happened so early. You
might have had an out time of filming that. So okay,
we can get done.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
That man is the busiest man in Hollywood.

Speaker 2 (38:27):
And it's funny. He was just a TV actor. Now
he's a movie star. It's really really cool to see him.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
He's come up, Isabella MerCad, you're next. You got hawk
Girl Girl Hawk Girl ha ha.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
If I if I drink, if you took a shot
every time Hawking said ha, you know the league, you'd
be drunk by the middle episode.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
Hopefully you don't have to do that in the movie,
but we'll find out Kevin drinking game, drinking game.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
Kevin's be all up on caffeine halfway to the Superman
and like, I can't wait touch what happened? I can
fly to ha. But Kevin, speaking of movies, let's do
one of my favorite things we liked like to do
sort of at the beginning of the year and right
before the summer blockbuster season begins, because it officially is

(39:14):
starting this weekend. But like we kind of said, kind
of started with the Minecraft movie and then Sinners, and
then this weekend was obviously Revenge of the Sith and
then now Thunderbolts this weekend. Aaron Giles said, don't forget.
She was also an Alien Romulus, so she's she's been
in it. And if you know what she did in
Alien Ramlas, I will say, just get ready for Last

(39:36):
of Us. That's all. But Kevin, we're gonna go through
some of the movies that are supposed to come out
this summer. I'm assuming through September, like Labor Day, and
then we're gonna pretty much say you're gonna watch Essentially,
you're gonna theater it, stream it, or skip it. Get
three options there. Mainly some of these movies will be streaming,

(39:57):
so obviously you have to see it streaming, skip it,
but overall we'll see if we got a good summer
ahead or not. We do preface this, but who knows
my change never know.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
Well, did read article that said the first three months
of the year have been like kind of like a
disaster for the box office. Hopefully this summer can save it.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
Well, I mean April did well, so may look into too.
So starting this weekend is when it kicks off. Another
Simple Favor aka Simple Favorite two comes out May first,
that's on Prime Video, Anna Kendrick and Pends how you
Feel Blake Lively or in that movie again with Henry

(40:38):
Golding from Crazy Rich Asians. The first one was okay,
obviously it's on streaming, so it'll be hey, we got
nothing to launch, let's watch it. So I'll probably say
stream it.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
Oh that's something else.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
What do you say, keV I didn't hear you in
this movie that.

Speaker 2 (40:55):
Calls all her drama right now? Was at the other movie.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
That was the romance movie. This is more more like
She's I remember but herd and Kendrick it's kind of
similar to her real life drama, like they kind of
vie for attention over her husband, and it's a whole thing.
It's like more of like a comedic thriller thing that's
not really there at all. I bet you've watched it
cruel tensions. Yeah, I bet you watched it during the pandemic.

(41:18):
You just don't remember it, probably, Yeah, So that's part
of Deafinitely skip.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
There's gonna be a skip for me unless my wife
has what I get home because I'm watching this all.

Speaker 1 (41:27):
Right, our next one. I'm not gonna do all the
movies because if we don't, if we've never heard of it,
were it's obviously skip. But Thunderbolts with a little star
emoji don't forget comes out this Friday as well, May
second in theaters. That's obviously a theater movie for us
because we're seeing it on Wednesday, Kevin on Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (41:48):
And two things about this movie and I'm not going
to see himut because I'm seeing it in two days.
The asterisk easter egg is on the internet. You can
look for it, and also the two in credit things
I've been dropp YouTube, so you can look for that. Two.
I'm not gonna do it. I can wait two days.

Speaker 1 (42:03):
I heard one of them is eventful. So that's all
I'll say until we talk about it on Thursday, which
we will do a review of it spoiler free, and
then spoiler a review of that on Thursday. Kevin, I
think we're looking at the same list Fight or Flight
with Josh Hartnett coming out in theaters May ninth. You
see in that movie.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
M Night Movies that hit a miss for me. This
is like another miss for me. I don't know. I
can limit my airplane disaster movies is for my own anxiety,
so I'll be skipping this one.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
Yeah, it's really This looks like snakes on a plane
slash bullet train in one movie. I just watched it
before we started the podcast. Josh Hartnet's in it, which
is great, Josh hart It's getting more work, but definitely
not the movie now. On the other hand, A twenty
four's Friendship May twenty third will be the sleeper hit
of May because Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd in the

(42:57):
same movie. Yes, please, I still don't know if I'm
taking this movie seriously and it was going to be
just one alone.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
I think you should leave sketch. I hope it is,
because what would be hilarious. I'm definitely going to try
to see this movie.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
I think we're sure it's definitely a stream movie, just
because I think it's coming out during a busy time
when everything else is coming out. But it looks it
looks fun. It looks like a fun Oh it's limited
release May ninth, nationwide on May twenty third, so yeah,
it'll probably be coming out at a bad time. That's okay.

Speaker 2 (43:26):
Yeah, it's definitely be a sol old movie experience for me.
I don't think anything.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
Yeah, that's okay, that's okay. Uh. Shadow Force, Kevin, the
movie you Brought to our attention comes out also on
May ninth for a limited release Carrie Washington, Divine Joy,
Roy Randolph, method Man, and Mark Stran Kevin. When you're streaming,
skipping or a theater in it, uh, I'll probably skip it.
But it looks really cool. Yeah, I may streaming it.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
It comes to what comes. It comes to Prime or
wherever it probably will streaming there.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
Probably I'm not going.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
To break my back to go see this movie because
it's like any other action movie you can stream on
Prime on Netflix.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
Yeah, in May sixteenth, to get Final Destination Bloodlines. It's
the return of the Final Destination franchise. I think that's
a stream. I don't need to see it in theaters
because I'll probably see all the deaths on TikTok. Let's
face it immediately.

Speaker 2 (44:16):
It might be this might be a theater for me
only because.

Speaker 1 (44:20):
Your wife loves loves creepy things, not.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
Even that our first date was the Last Found Destination.

Speaker 1 (44:26):
Wow, so hey, celebrate anniversary, go see this one together.

Speaker 2 (44:31):
We might do what we did last time. Actually went
to the Wegmans and Hunt Valley for dinner because we
were the first day with like pay for your own food, we're.

Speaker 1 (44:37):
Kevin's, Like I cannot even afford the box of Wegmons food.

Speaker 2 (44:41):
And then we went to the movie to see the
movies to see fin might we might do the same
thing and just like you know, remember when we were
just starting out.

Speaker 1 (44:51):
What a tired Now look at us two kids now
and they can't see this movie exactly. And then on streaming, Yeah,
Netflix May twenty thirty got Fear Street prompt Queen. This
I think is obviously it's a stream. Remember the Fear
Street movies. It was like three movies that were back
to back. They came out three weeks. They were pretty good.
I assume the same thing I see. It aren't a

(45:14):
green Blatz in it, so you know it's gonna be
at least decent because she's kind of in every good project.
Now she's young Ahsoka and she's in the Barber movie.
But May twenty thirds, that's a good Memorial Day movie
for you to watch in case it's it rains or
it's too hot for you. But the Memorial Day movies,
you need to watch Leelo and Stitch on May twenty third,
and then Mission Impossible the Final Reckoning on May twenty

(45:34):
third as well. Kevin, which one will you see first?
Or you'll do a double feature. I'll probably be seeing
Leelo will Hitch first, regardless, probably multiple times before you
see Mission Apossible.

Speaker 2 (45:46):
That's gonna be a actually, may be Cures first movie too.
That's a good one. Yeah, definitely, Loo would stand there.
Maybe again, Mister Possible might be a solo Dead movie.
One day if I have a window, I'll see.

Speaker 1 (45:57):
A movie like what Maybe, and you will find the
invite and get you in there. Kevin, no worry, Maybe
we'll see Mister Possible too.

Speaker 2 (46:05):
It'll be interesting.

Speaker 1 (46:05):
I mean, do you need to you will find out.
I need to follow the complex story. Nah, you're good. Yeah.
I think both of these are theaters that The World
Day will be really good for the box office, just
a family movie and obviously an action ass movie like
that too. But then you got Karate Kid Legends coming
out May thirtieth, the week after. That's a skip because.

Speaker 2 (46:27):
Karate Kid because of Copak kind of jumped the shark.

Speaker 1 (46:31):
Yeah, I do think this is coming out also at
a time that like, it's not Cannon with Cobra KAII,
but Daniel Larusso's in it, and it's like, ooh, I
don't know about that.

Speaker 2 (46:42):
I don't think it was canon. Also with the one
one with Will Smith's son in.

Speaker 1 (46:45):
It, it is, I think it is Cannon to that,
but Will or Jane Smith will not be in it.
But Jackie Chan as mister Han not mister Mehugi, will
be in it. So I don't know.

Speaker 2 (46:58):
It's weird man is here.

Speaker 1 (47:01):
But after that, June six, you have the next Wes
Anderson movie, The Phoenician, obviously a stack cast in it.
That's probably a stream. On June six, it looked it.
I mean it's the Wes Anderson movies. So that's if
that's a streamer skip based on if you like those
movies or not.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
Wes Andrews movies have become TikTok scenes for me, that
is true.

Speaker 1 (47:20):
You can see a lot of them on TikTok too,
like I'll see part two and Part five, one, three,
and four, that's exactly. And then on June six, you
also have john Wick Ball Arena. That's probably a stream
I think it will be a cool time. That would
be a cool movie to see in forty X. Very
action heavy. Yeah, but I think it is really kicking

(47:42):
off the continuation of the john Wick first because we
know there's an Amman show and two movies coming out
soon too. Annadaharmous looks good in it and looks like
she'd like try to do all of her stunts and everything.

Speaker 2 (47:53):
So it'll be interesting. She's the next big movie star. Yeah, yeah,
that's good is actually.

Speaker 1 (48:00):
And then also a week later June thirteenth, I believe
both of these movies. No, June thirteenth, it owns it.
How to Train Your Dragon live action also probably a
good one to see in forty X, probably with when
they're on the dragon.

Speaker 2 (48:13):
The flying scenes. Definitely, Yeah, yeah, actually like when they
file of the Water and that Mishitch. It's gonna be
very refreshing, very refreshing.

Speaker 1 (48:20):
That one. I'm probably stream over us. I don't know.
Maybe it might be good to watch it right before
I go to Universal. Maybe i'll watch it wat you
go to univers around that time A week later, Yeah, okay,
we'll go see we'll see it in theaters then, Kevin maybe,
but Kevin also about Sorry I Lost my place. There
we go right here after that movie you have, Kevin,

(48:42):
I think your wife will make you go see this.
Twenty eight years later on June twentieth, also at the
same time coming out as Elliot, the next Pixar movie.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
Oh, that's that's different. Twenty eight years later. I think
actually know it's funny. Twenty eight days later was that
the first one will be actually saw. So that was
a huge pump. I'm still on about horror movies to
like to watch them. Just froud it. That probably be
a stream for me twenty eight years later. But then
Elliot definite probably see that in theater. That's another family movie.

Speaker 1 (49:12):
Uh, just you know. The cast for twenty eight years later,
Aaron Taylor, Johnson, Jody comer who was Alien Romulus. Ralph
finds Jack O'Connell, who was the Irish guy in Centners
and and Killian Murphy. So the pretty stat cast.

Speaker 2 (49:26):
Killian Murphy, and twenty days later he repression, it's just
that it was.

Speaker 1 (49:36):
But Kevin, don't worry because June twenty seventh, your ass
will be in theaters. Because I feel like your daughter,
I make you go see it. Megan two point zero baby.

Speaker 2 (49:46):
So here's my plan for this. The same day, I
believe F one comes out. F one is a dad movie,
so maybe we go to the theater and just go
on separate ways and you go through the F one.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
And they're making Megan essentially the Terminators, so it's gotta
be less scary, more action heavy, and now he's now
she's a good guy. It's pretty much what that movie is.
That's a stream I saw the first one on streaming.
I don't need to see the second one in theaters.

Speaker 2 (50:10):
The uncanny valley of that model is just I don't
like it.

Speaker 1 (50:14):
That'll be all over Universal Horror Nights this year, so
don't worry. But then we get to July, kicking off
July second, for your fourth of July weekend Jurassic World Rebirth. Uh,
that's a theater. You gotta see it in theaters.

Speaker 2 (50:27):
Yeah, it's gonna suck, probably, but you don't see dress
of Park movie streaming.

Speaker 1 (50:31):
First interesting thing is that would be Mori's actually her
first full Jurassic Park movie in theaters, if I can
convince her to go. Because she saw the only time
she's seen in Jassic Park movie. I think it was
the same time as me Jurassic Park three. She got
walked in. She walked in the wrong movie theater like
I did too, and we're like, Nope, that's not the movie.

(50:51):
We cannot handle it.

Speaker 2 (50:53):
Oh, have you been coming up with quotacious I am?

Speaker 1 (50:56):
I am on the final season and Kenjie's dad is
enter of the pick. Sure, that's all I'll say.

Speaker 2 (51:01):
So I'm happy to get.

Speaker 1 (51:02):
Enjoy getting there. I'm getting there. I didn't need a
little bit of break because I watched a lot of
it in like two weeks. I break it. Were excited
not to be outdone. July second. Also, if you if
you love this pandemic movie, the Old Guard too comes out,
remember that.

Speaker 2 (51:16):
I'm excited about this one.

Speaker 1 (51:18):
I love The Old Guard, so sure at least they're
on Chill Tell Edge four. Yeah, they're back talk about
a movie that probably should have came out a couple
of years earlier.

Speaker 2 (51:27):
Not now, because we want five years removed from the pandemic.
So maybe twenty twenty three maybe should live be out.
But hey, here we.

Speaker 1 (51:34):
Are, there you go, and then it's where it kicks
off really July eleventh, Superman. That's a that's a two
years obviously. Might where my costume would go to see
the movie. Maybe Kevin Well, I have a cap I
can wear right there, there you go, there you go,
right there you go. Uh, the I Know what you
did last summer reboot movie slash sequel or whatever it is,

(51:56):
comes out July eighteenth. Freddy Prince Junior and Jennifer Love
Hewitt are in it, So that's a stream probably most
likely extreme.

Speaker 2 (52:06):
I'm actually more interested. Freddie Prince jing it in for
like the last five years, and that's been trying to
get off a more narrative driven wrestling league Wrestling by
Wrestling promotion, and he's still trying to find support for it.
And it'll be it'll be even more more scripted and
drama field than w is. It'll just be like a
show that happens to have fighting in it. I really
want to watch it, get some support for it.

Speaker 1 (52:27):
Then July eighteenth, Smurft, Kevin or you're seeing it with Rihanna.
Kids are gonna make you see it. Probably your kids
are gonna make you see it. Probably I hope not.

Speaker 2 (52:37):
Because the last one I had that happened that that
was Tom and Jerry. I would listen to a podcast
for the entire movie it was. It was terrible. You
may have to watch it.

Speaker 1 (52:46):
And then obviously this is reason to get AMC a
list or whatever this this summer because there's a lot
of movies. But July twenty fifth, what we didn't realize
head to head a movie at home and a movie
in theaters because Happy Gilmore comes out July twenty fifth,
and Second one and Fantastic four First Steps comes out
in theaters the same day. So you got a weekend. Baby,

(53:07):
it's a Friday and Saturday right there.

Speaker 2 (53:10):
Or it's a it's a Friday at work, you watch
Happy Gaming when youre supposed to be working, you leave
work and you go see a Fantastic Ever, I'm excited
to see the expansion of of the Adam Standles cinematic universe.

Speaker 1 (53:20):
I just want to see what happens, like this is
getting a sequel and will it be good? Most likely not,
but we'll find out now.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
I want I want to water a Boys sequel. I
want a Big Dady sequel. I want to see the
kids as a grown and him being being like a granddad.
I want to see all of that.

Speaker 1 (53:33):
There you. Uh. Then a week later August first, you
have the Naked Gun reboot with Liam Nees, Paul Walter Houser, uh,
Cody Rhodes apparently in the movie as well. Really, this
just based on that teaser trailer which we watched like
two weeks ago. That's a theater that's a theater movie.
That's gonna be a fun time in theaters.

Speaker 2 (53:53):
It be interesting because I can't remember the last time
a big comedy came out of theaters was hand It
might have been Crazy with Reach.

Speaker 1 (54:00):
Oh yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (54:02):
So I'll be curious to see how this one does.
I mean, it's not sound like a big a doubt
or anything, but see, it'd be funny to see the
clears like three to four hundred million.

Speaker 1 (54:10):
Yeah, and I think it's a low budget movie and
just keep it doing. She's doing three or one and
a half or whatever it is, and all that good.

Speaker 2 (54:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (54:18):
Then in August after that, a week later, freak Your Friday,
that is in theaters, so probably we'll see it in
the theaters. And that's a good date night movie. I'll
tell you that right now if you're a millennial.

Speaker 2 (54:29):
And that's that's with also Jimi, Lee Curtissland. They're reprising
the world, which is interesting. It's funny. Actually I didn't
see the original Freaking Fighter with it, but I saw
the Didy channel. It was a d com before the
actual movie came out before that. That that's what I'm
more familiar with. It's funny.

Speaker 1 (54:46):
You'll get there, Kevin, you'll probably see I Have a billion.
Maybe Lee will be the reason you have to go
see that, not your wife.

Speaker 2 (54:54):
That's a good point. Good point, dang it.

Speaker 1 (54:56):
You women control Kevin's life everywhere, every angle he through.
Truly literally, there is a small woman.

Speaker 2 (55:06):
Off camera. You can't see it right now, no, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (55:10):
And then there's not that much else in August, so
you know, probably Fortunately, Naked Gum will do pretty well
and Freakier Friday will as well, because the only other
thing big, mainly that we'll talk about this podcast. The
Toxic Are Peter Dinklish is The Toxic Avenger, coming out
August twenty ninth, last week. I don't think I'm gonna

(55:31):
see this movie. I think it's too out there for
me to see.

Speaker 2 (55:36):
They missed this by about twenty years to make this movie.

Speaker 1 (55:40):
I feel like, yeah, I mean not wrong. And then
as of right now, I don't think there's really anything
too big scheduled for September.

Speaker 2 (55:49):
There are two things I did see that look a
little interesting. One of them is Nobody Too, because Nobody
Won was pretty fun with Bible and Kirk and also
the Roses with with what's his name? Dang it? Bennett
coming Batch and Olivia Coleman, who was in The Bear.
The trailer is hilarious. It's about them getting a divorce,
and this is like an interesting movie. I don't think

(56:10):
it is a movie you can go see in theaters,
but when I showed up on streaming, I think it
might be a very very fun and stream.

Speaker 1 (56:15):
Andy Sandburg is in it too, and Kate mckinnony.

Speaker 2 (56:17):
Yeah, like it's not a comedy, but it's a comedy,
you know what I mean. One of those kind of movies.
Mm hmm, Slice of Life, that type of thing. It looks,
it looks whenever it comes up on a prime on
Netflix or wholo, whatever it is, I might get never
one to watch.

Speaker 1 (56:31):
And then September your big movie, at least as of
right now, is the conjuring Final Rights is the main
movie or Last Rights? Sorry, that's September fifth, So like
your Labor Day weekend movie, that's should have come out
later in September. I feel like for October Halloween vibes,
you know.

Speaker 2 (56:48):
Yeah, I'm upset about summer ending.

Speaker 1 (56:51):
Hey, it's the last conjuring movies. Then we can be
down with the cuckoo, the conjuring cinematic universe. You know,
the cuckoo. You're welcome, you take that with you. I'm
gonna watch the cuckoo movies that Nanabelle and La La
Arena and all those other movies are like, wait, we're
doing it done and there's another nun Okay, I.

Speaker 2 (57:14):
Don't know how many things can be conjured.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Well, I'm excited because when we when we do get
the new scary movie movie, I cannot see what wait
to see what horror movies we're gonna party in that movie.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
I think. Actually, there was an interview recently with Sean
Wayns and Marla Waynes. They're working on actually working on it,
so exciting.

Speaker 1 (57:32):
Next year, probably next Halloween. It has to come out
in Halloween. Don't put in the summer Halloween. People will
watch it exactly.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
That's okay.

Speaker 1 (57:40):
Yeah, those are all the movies. There obviously will be
more streaming things and all that stuff that we don't
know about now that I'm the todam comes out soon,
so we'll find out what the hell is happening thirty first,
I believe is what it said, but we'll find out
actually when Stranger Things Season five is actually happening. Is
it happening? Kevin Quick prediction? Do you think it's happening

(58:01):
this year?

Speaker 2 (58:03):
It kind of has to write, Well, I'm gonna hold
on hope and say yes.

Speaker 1 (58:09):
I mean, it'd be nice to be like, here's your
fall show. We're great that maybe that comes out Halloween
and ends up ends in Thanksgiving. That'd be cool.

Speaker 2 (58:16):
That will be actually a really I mean, I think
I think it's too late for summer. So yeah, this
is your fall show. Thank you very much. Netflix.

Speaker 1 (58:22):
We'll get Wednesday, we get season and that we'll get
probably a season a one piece on Netflix for nerdy shows,
and then we have all those the Star Wars visions,
we got the Eyes of a Conda series and Ironheart.

Speaker 2 (58:36):
At some point what season two avatar they announced it.

Speaker 1 (58:39):
We'll find out to Dumb Kevin. We will find out
at Dumb. But that does it for us on this podcast,
and we will be back on Thursday to talk about
two very big things and or batch of three episodes.
And on top of that, Thunderbolts our review. Do we

(59:00):
like it? Do we love it? Do we want some
more of it? Because that will be yes that and
then Fantastic four and that will be our last Marvel
movies till doomsday. So that'll be a fun time.

Speaker 2 (59:14):
In the last one projects until iron Art this fall away.

Speaker 1 (59:17):
