Let's talk about State farm man, because State farm is
absolutely in the wrong, which we thought they were doing
too much with these damn rate hikes last year, loan.
We had about four of these things by the end
of the year, and they tried again right after those
LA fires to make another rate hike, and they took
us straight to the State of California Assembly. Well, it
turns out Hayden Kirkpatrick, an ex executive, just got caught

telling exactly what was going on with those hikes.
Speaker 7 (09:57):
We were to the Department Venturance to say we're over expelled.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
You have to let us catch up our rain how
much and then we'll say, okay, then we are going
to cancel these falls.

We're constantly going in saying our data indicates so we
reach the the increase faster and faster and faster and
faster and faster. It's disturbing that State Farm would use
a threat of non renewing homeowners as a political strategy
to pressure the department to get these rate increases approved.

Yeah, but I mean, we all knew that there was
something up.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
So now they've been bullying, you know, the powers that
be and saying they'll cancel on customers if they don't
allow the rate hike.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
So this decision is going to be made soon.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
This is the second time they've asked California for a
twenty two percent increase, so we'll.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
See, Yeah, big news for your class two times. Rain
is coming back this week. Y'all. Know, we had a
couple of days of sunshine, but rain is supposed to
be hitting later on tonight, and they said it's gonna
continue pretty much throughout the weekend. Tomorrow is going to
have the most rainfall Friday as well, but you know,
go ahead and break out those umbrellas.

Yeah, it's gonna be ugly weather through the weekend unfortunately,

just pass a anti camping ordinance just the other day
that was going to affect our unhoused folks. But folks
who are giving them type of you know, supplies and
help as well if they're out on the street, are
now opening up a brand new lawsuit saying how are
you going to try to charge us and even jail

us for just trying to.

Help these people.

We think that this is a moment that people all
over the country need to pay attention to because it
is signaling the direction that we're going with respect to
taking care of the people who need care the most.

We're prepared to do what we have to do to
stop the city's enforcement.

On the other hand, we're willing to set aside litigation
