Speaker 1 (00:01):
My son G Morning show of six page number one
for hip hop and R and B.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
All right, we got news having it right now Sonagi
Moanne to show on Cameo base number one.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
But hip hop and R and B. Let's get to
it biz signa G. Let's go ahead and talk about
what went down. Let me get one of good class
because today we are seeing folks all get out in
mass for a day without an immigrant. Now, yesterday we
saw a humongous protest down in la as folks went
ahead and blocked the one on one freeway to go
ahead and let their voices be heard. Really because of
(00:32):
these mass deportations that have been happening out here. A
lot of the you know folks who are mad about
what's happening with these DEI programs, and now businesses and
individuals all across the Bay Area as saying we are
planning to participate. We're not going to be going to school,
we're not going to have our businesses open, we're not
going to be at work, because you all need to
feel how it is without an immigrant working for you. Today,
a lot of committee members and entrepreneurs decided to join
(00:54):
this movement to support our people now open up our.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Businesses to show how strong we are.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
Like me, there are many many people that just need
the opportunity to work without being afraid.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah, I mean, you know, somebody hit me up a parent,
was like, you're going to work, and I lightweight, feel
like I should have probably stayed home. My mother was
an immigrant from Mexico. She had a green card and
then obviously married my father way back in the day,
so made things official there. But you know, it's just
it's disappointing to see how some people are treating the
situation that's going on right now.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Like you guys are who around so big about this.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Not knowing how many services you probably have received, how
many times you've been, you know, waiting on or served
by one of these people that you're in such a
hurry to get out of the country. I know what
your concerns are, and part of me feels the same,
But you know, it's just unfortunate that we're creating this
climate of being scared with young people at the schoolhouse
(01:52):
and all kinds of things. Man, it's pretty ugly right now.
So if you decide not to go to work, ain't
nobody going to be madiced?
Speaker 1 (01:58):
No, not at all, got bigness for your clap to times.
Let's talk about the NBA, because yesterday we saw one
of the craziest trades take place ever in NBA history.
Luca Doncis traded from the Mavericks to the Lakers for
Anthony Davis. Now, a lot of folks were like, are
you for real? This caid, this can't be real. No,
absolutely went down Lebron saying he always wanted to play
(02:19):
with Luca. Now Luca is still out and injured, so
he won't be hitting the court just yet. February twenty fifth.
I believe they'll be up here playing the Warriors, so
we'll see if he'll be on the court by then.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Fans are heartbroken.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Social media was on fire, not just from actual players
being in shock, even people like Steven A when they
saw the news, they were like mouths open, like what.
So it's pretty unfortunate for those Dallas fans that have been,
you know, holding strong with Luca. They build a whole
team around this kid, and now you know, off to
the Lakers and they will be facing off the Mavericks
(02:51):
and the Lakers coming up February twenty third, So it's
gonna be crazy to.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Say you're not worried about the fence. You don't care.
Now we've invested seven years, I've been believing in Luca,
but they just want to make their gably money, make
a couple of hundred million and leave us stuck out here.
Speaker 5 (03:04):
Now now we're back to square one, We're back to
square zero. Feel this might be the worst day of
my life. This might be the worst day. I'm out
right now trying to enjoy my Saturday night and I
just found out my glorious, my glorious Slavidian there just
got traded for the Lakers. My two favorite players were
both playing for the Lakers.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
And I'm so upset. It sounds like you might need
to be a Laker fan, mam.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Now we'll see how it all plays out, man, But
it didn't shock everyone.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
And don't forget this weekend. Dun dun, dun dum.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
I'm super Bowl. We can know y'all. A lot of
y'all excited, probably throwing money down on those Eagles or
the Chiefs. Sunday it's about to be popping, I know,
chasing and having a big watch party. Also, folks out
in San Jose gonna hitting up Sam Pagro Square. They're
gonna be watch parties all around the Bay Area. So
go ahead and get out there even if your team
ain't playing. Man, I know you ready for this bowl.
Speaker 6 (03:46):
Good morning, sign a g biz and let Jones this
is your boy, big chip, most loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan
and San Jose State Spartan's just gonna let you know
how we run the East and we gonna do it
again this year. Fly Eagles, Fly by God.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
I'm gonna clap three times for you.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
You're welcooess.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Let's talk about the Grandnies because last night we saw
him take place and it was a full movement out there, man,
a lot of folks looking to see who was gonna
hit that rent carpet, Big celebrations. Billy Eilis had a
great performance. We also saw some of our faves get
up on stage and get some winnings in the shout
out to Young Doci ended up getting you know, some
love for her album as well.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah, best rap album, which is she's a third female
to do this a negative by day. This category was
introduced in nineteen eighty nine, and two women have won
Lauren Hill. Three women have won Lauren Hill.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Connie Bee and Docie. Congratulations.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Adulcy absolutely was a movement seeing her get up there.
But also we got to show some love to Kendrick.
You ended up winning big out there last night. My
man was racking them up for Song of the Year,
you know, record of the year for not like us.
But everybody was sitting and waiting to see what else
was gonna happen. As Kendrick was collecting his love up
there on the stage. There sona g hosts like, well,
(05:15):
what's up with y'all? Say, where's Beyonce. It's Beyonce here
absolutely was and she ended up getting loved for Album
of the Year.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
This is Gloilla screaming on the side of the stage,
and she walked up her best country album, which is
crazy that it took this for her.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
To the next Thank God, oh my gosh, that I'm
able to still do what I love after so many years.
I'd like to thank all of the incredible country artists
that accepted this album.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yeah, I was pretty big man. Congratulations debate. Kendrick swept
all of his categories and it was just a night,
you know what I mean a lot of good performances
and everything else definitely was.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
And Beyonce, I think the highlight was her announcing her tour.
So that Cowboy Carter tour is about to go live,
coming up in twenty twenty five. But she didn't tell you,
she didn't put the baby on the pay How are
you not coming out here to Levi's.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
She's going to La Vegas, Houston, of course, because that's
your hometown.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
A few other places.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
So if you're trying to see Bay when those tickets drop,
you're gonna have to flight of it. I would choose
Vegas or La So it's gonna be up to you
because that's gonna be the closest to us.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Go ahead and make that movement, man. But I know
y'all trying to see that Carboy Cowboy Carter line.
Speaker 2 (06:28):

incredible Before we got crush on You coming up in
a second, My girl Stephanie just has a surprise for
her husband, okay, because I believe it's his day coming
up here in about a second, So I love her.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Johnson out there in Sullivan's Island. Apparently this kid decided
that he was going to act like the policia out
there and pull over some cats that he assumed we're immigrants.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Now, he might not have been wrong.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
He pulled over and for whatever reason, he was asking
for driver's license from the driver.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
They mostly spoke Spanish.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
They were trying to communicate with him, but it was
the way it played out, and the person in the
passenger your seat was just recording him the entire time.
And he absolutely is not a police officer, not even closed.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
The man is just a fool who feels empowered about
what's going on right now throughout the country. And the
man sat there, yanked the keys away from this four man,
threw them on the side of the road, and then
just kept sitting there bashing and harassing these people. Thankfully,
the police were able to catch up to this idiot.
Speaker 3 (07:49):

Speaker 6 (07:51):

know the police were gonna pull up and be like, oh,
so you are acting like.

of these poor cats that were sitting in the car.
Apparently they had their legit stuff going on, and you know,
he just was acting how he was acting that day.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
To all my people out there who think that you
have the power to start abusing people simply because of
the climate that is now going on outside, you are
absolutely wrong and your ass will be in jail, just
like old Shaan. Don't be speaking at Pig.
