Speaker 1 (00:01):
My son g Morning shows six km o phage number
one for hip hop and R and B.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
We hop it out of water, y'all, we getting out
of the loon. Not only is it gonna be Valentine's Day weekend,
it is All Star weekend as well. So shout out
to the homie Big Dave, all the folks over there
at Party SF and a bunch of other people are
gonna be involved in this boat cruise.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
You got us in the building.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Of course, I think one of our All Star DJs
is gonna be in the mix off of Peer three.
We're jumping on that Cupid cruise coming up for All
Star weekends, so we'll have tickets for you. More details
coming up later on this morning.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
On Monday. Let's get to this news biz. Lots to talk.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
About, Yeah, sonad you, let's talk to four weight. Let
me get one of them good claps. Officially, Ice agents
have been spotted down in San Jose. Now apparently they
had raids going on yesterday and the mayor was fully
aware of it. Matt Mayhon did not make an official statement,
but did come out and say we knew that you
know these Ice We're gonna be out here conducting sweeps.
Apparently they were looking for folks with criminal activity, of course,

(01:05):
any violent offenders, drug offenders and stuff like that in
the area. But folks are worried because now that we
officially know they are here in the Bay Area, people
are wondering if these sweeping raids are gonna be touching
them and breaking up their families.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
So I'm not sure how many criminal offenders we have
as far as young people in the school. That's the
part that's kind of, you know, worrying me a bit.
I mean, are they looking for adults like instructors or
anybody that might have been hired by the school district.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
I'm not quite sure.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
But this is psych traumatizing for you know, families basically,
you know, and with this birthright thing going away too,
you know, that's being defended right now by a Supreme
Court judge to keep it in place. But it's really
scary to see these like instructors. I was scrolling through
social media this weekend and I saw different teachers like

(01:56):
ice came to our school today in different states the country,
And that's just a weird place to start. But you know,
full seven said, churches, schools wherever you need to go.
There's no holds barred when it comes to collecting these
immigrant people.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
So once the agents confirmed that they were not sent
as a police I asked, are you ice and they nodded.
It's only been a week, but this is the first
time we've had verified, confirmed activity in our county. Yes.
So they were heading back to their car. Somebody exited
the house and they said, is that him? And they
said no. I think there's a real fear of detention
and deportation, but there's also always that fear of family separation,

(02:32):
right of one parent being detained or deported and leaving
their kids behind there.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Yeah. I saw one school district in Chicago didn't allow
the ICE agents to come on the campus. So it
just depends situation to situation how this is going to
play out. But what a strange thing to happen for
these young folks to have to witness this man.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
It's ugly.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
So we'll see God being used for your clap two times.
Let's talk to all my folks who jump on Spirit regularly,
because it looks like they're saying they are enforcing stricter
dress codes and you won't be able to come on
there with any revealing tattoos or offensive tattoos. Also, no
exposed cleavage, you know, blunt cheeks.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Or any other private areas.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
They said, they want to make sure that folks are
coming in here respectable. Also, you can't come on barefoot,
which was weird because who the hell was walking on
a plane barefoot?

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Anyway, people who buy spirit airline tickets. Just to fill
you in there, this is coming along with the announcement
that there's gonna be some serious price heights coming for airlines.
And I forget what ripple effect this is from. I
was actually trying to look it up. I was talking
to you about it earlier. Operational costs. They're saying airlines

(03:38):
are facing rising costs for maintaining their fleets. We've seen
a lot of these planes drop a panel, drop a wheel,
you know, something's wrong with the you know, basic wing
or whatever the case may be, one of the engines.
And also inflation, staffing shortages, jet ful fuel prices, like,
it's been crazy these airlines.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
What's been going on?

Speaker 2 (03:57):
So they said, over the next couple of months, you
could look at airline tickets going up even as much
as two hundred dollars than it was before. So before
it was like what you caught a flight to Vegas
photy nine dollars. It's all looked like even two fifty
maybe coming up in the next couple months. So if
you are planning some summer trips or maybe spring break,

(04:18):
I would start looking at those airline tickets right now
because they're gonna go up guaranteed.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Got big news for your clap three times. Let's go
ahead and talk about it. The super Bowl is now set, y'all.
We know No Orleans is about to be popping, and
it's gonna be fly Eagles fly as they take on
those Kansasy Chiefs in Nola.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I know Gilly's happy. Yeah, you know they'll be out
there heading to that too short blott away and Lex
wasn't wrong.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Lex said it was gonna be Chiefs and Eagles, and
he was absolutely on poyant and waving back to that
Super Bowl logo. You know conspiracy theory about when the
colors are a certain way and they match one of
the teams, it's probably gonna be those two. Last year
it didn't hold true, but this year it apparently did.
And I was heartbroken to see and I couldn't eve
watch the game that my guy Josh Allen couldn't pull

(05:03):
it out man from the Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
It really was a tit one out there until things
started slipping away. But you know, Mahomes had nothing but
respect for Josh Allen when he talked about Matthew respect.

Speaker 6 (05:12):
I have so much respect for Josh Manta. This is
a true competitor, a true warrior, a great football player,
and they always come down to the wire. Luckily we
were on the winning side this time. I'm just excited
to get down to New Orleans. Let's go make history.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
You know what, super Bowl is coming up quick in February,
and we announced last week that you're gonna get a
taste of that Grand National Tour because Kendrick Lamar decided
to add Sizza as one of his special guests.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Now is he gonna stop there? I don't even know.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
But between that and these commercial debuts that always happened
at Super Bowl, I'm looking forward to seeing that because
I ain't got a dog in this race.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Hey man, February ninth, that's about to go down, Nola.
Super Bowl is already lit.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
We are Clown of the Day coming up six thirty
five for your Monday.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
It days up next. It's six thirty five morning, six
point one. Here we can't straight clix.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
William Elston is the name of our clown today. And
you know what these social media people like. It's a
status that I think everyone, even deep down, dark deep inside,
wants to achieve, like me, for just numbers to you know,
make iHeartRadio happy. But I have no other desire to
cause this much attention or traction. And people are willing

(06:32):
to lie and say whatever they want to say to
get people to click and like and share and repost
and remix and all the things. So this kat William
took to social media and made an announcement about what
Trump had basically put up there on Twitter or.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
X yeah, basically saying that Trump had just tweeted out
if you put your baby daddy on child support at
baby daddy now gets all of the income tax that
can claim your baby. My video alone, that's not the
one I wanted, but I mean, of course, William sent
the world in a frenzy.

Speaker 7 (07:03):
Bro oh my god, Trump just tweeted if you put
your baby daddy on child support that the baby daddy
now gets all of the income text what she.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Had women looking down at their bellies like, uh, you know,
it's sad for a lot of people. They got really
upset over this situation because you probably had a lot
of single bombs who've been doing it all by themselves
and finally worked some stuff out. But wait, I don't
need your twelve dollars a month, and then you get
to claim my child and I don't when I've been

(07:34):
the one like doing everything. Oh my god, the shares
and the comments went insane on TikTok. He got twelve
million views on that thing, and then ig people were
sharing it and liking it over a million.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
It was crazy.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
I mean from folks that up, they're talking about boycount
show days.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Wait till I get you in trapp it. You know
these ladies was not playing with William madd He got
scared for a second, had temperatures high.

Speaker 7 (07:59):
Video along has twelve million on TikTok and one million
on Instagram.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
I was just making enough in my car because I said.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
Trump just tweeted that if you pay tild support, the
baby daddy get income. Text what and I said that
Now I'm sitting there. I went wildfire, but it's fake.
He didn't pass nothing it's a good conversation to everybody heaven.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
But it's fake.

Speaker 7 (08:17):
So I just want y'all know the original person that
did that. I was playing around. Don't believe it. It's fake.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Ha ha.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
This is where our country is is being led into
the dark man because we considered TikTok to be a
source of information. You can clearly just google or type
in and find out whether this was true or not.
But if people do that, absolutely not, they gonna take
TikTok for its word.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Yeah, man, y'all gotta start reading a little bit better, okay,
because missing should not be spreading this fast, y'all because
just someone says some online doesn't make it real.

Speaker 7 (08:50):
Don't believe it.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
It's fake. Hahaown clown with clones all day. Clown man,
a clown. I'm worried.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
I keep saying I'm worried about the future, man, and
it's getting worse.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
It's so crazy.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Although TikTok apparently is in negotiations with a US buyer
where the US will have fifty percent steak in what
TikTok produces, which it just all boils down to the money.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
Yeah, it's all about the cash, and it's gonna be
still dummies on there shilling sharing a whole bunch of
fake infoe.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
So don't forget to use Google.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Y'all right, or shoot, I don't know, Yeah, don't talk
to one of your politicians or something. Oh body, my goodness.
All right, we're gonna talk about what's good in the bay.
Coming up every morning six fifty we tell you some
positive news. Put a smile on your face. That's coming
up in a minute.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
It's something big coming to West Oakland.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
As signagy for all our folks who are out there
trying to just take care of their health. There's something
humongous that is on the way, and we want y'all
to be ready for it because it's gonna be a
turn up for the community.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
It's the biggest in the US, and it's gonna be
right there in the East Bay. So we'll talk about that. Plus,
we love to hear from our people. Go ahead and
hit that free iHeart Radio app, hold the microphone button
down and talk back to us. Let us know how
you're feeling.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
Absolutely, you know, you can always hit us up, give
a birthday shout out, just so some love. Well, you
could go ahead and just say hey, y'all, it's Monday,
and I'm not ready for it.

Speaker 7 (10:05):
Just like this, you want it.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
We all just want to say, what's up?

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Give a shout out? Stop?

Speaker 5 (10:10):
What a.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Ge besee number one for hip hop and r NB
six point one km.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
L signa do you want to show on cameo? It's
goot Sona. What's up?

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Hey?

Speaker 4 (10:25):
G is here?

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Hello?

Speaker 2 (10:26):
We have to celebrate the opening of a care facilities,
particularly for women, but also teaching our young people how
to protect themselves all people, really, because we faced a
little controversy, uh, you know, not too long ago, and
now we're looking at the largest planned parenthood that is available,
not just in California but in the entire US, with

(10:47):
over nineteen exam rooms. It's dang near going to be
the size of an actual hospital.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
Yeah, gonna be humongous out there on Broadway, the Barbara
Lee Oakland Health Center in downtown Oakland and is about
to be popping their sonogy. And this is going to
be a great, great way for all folks to get
a little bit of health of course, you know, assistance
that they need.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yeah, when we were looking at the overturning of Roe
versus Wade, ma'am. And then you know a lot of
people obviously here in California because we're a sanctuary state,
it was, you know, something that we thought about. We
need a bigger facility to help those people who are
out of state come here and get whatever services they
might need. But right here in the Bay Area, I mean,

(11:28):
it's not just about abortion right again, it's teaching young
people about you know, safety with sexual interaction. It's about
treating people with illnesses that do occur.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
It's a bunch of different things.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
So here's the governor and one of the workers from
the facility and just people you know, standing over at
the Capitol building or the state building talking about defending
women's right.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
We are looking at ways to support that inevitability and
looking at ways to expand our protections.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
So the state, the East Bad Oakland, we will not
back down.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
My job.

Speaker 8 (12:04):
Every day I take care of women, and sometimes it's
putting an implant in, and sometimes it's holding somebody's hand
after they've just found out they have herpes, and sometimes
it's abortion care. This is it, This is what I do.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
I mean, it's it's kind of taboo to talk about
these things, right, but it's a real conversation. Yeah, it
is a huge part of how we navigate through life
as human beings and things like this happen, and where
do you go to get help?

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Right?

Speaker 2 (12:33):
So, I mean looking at this mural of Barbar Lee
is amazing. I see the artists they're painting the wall
or whatever. And it's not going to quite open yet,
but it will be come in the end of the year.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
Yeah, it'll be up there December seventeenth.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
Now again, they have everything from pre NATO care, contraception,
hormone therapy for folks undergoing gender transition, and so much
more that will help all these patients out there in
Burton in Oakland. Fourteen hundred Broadway is where it's going
to be located.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Yeah. Planned Parenthood mar Monte is what it's going to
be called. So come in the end of December, man,
I'm sure they're going to be very busy over there,
just educating everyone who wants to come in and get
that education over there at Planned Parenthood. That's what's good
in the Bay. We got big news coming back in
seven ten. What's going on bit, you know, Sonagy.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Last week we talked about how these ice rays had
begun sweeping across the nation, but now they're officially here
in the South Bay. We're going to talk about what's
happening down there and how folks can protect themselves.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
Coming up at seven ten.
