(00:00):
Let's magic. I think we allneed a little bit of Monday morning magic
to get through this day. Right. I haven't been able to get my
voice back. I don't know what'sgoing on, you know. I think
our problem over the weekend probably heardit a little bit. I know I
was certainly out there shouting and turningup. Yeah you were. You were
having a good time. Our streetteam members too, Hello, Christian,

(00:20):
Hey, Christian. Yeah, wehave to have a talk soon again.
Signag morning show on Cameo base numberone fit hip Hop and R and B
and she gonna sign it. What'sup? It's a wild boy. She
bez here, good morning. New'scoming up to let you know what's going
on in this bay and around you. What's important? So what's going on?
Biz? You know? SOIGNA gWe're up, we're active. It's
early on a Monday morning. Indeed, it wouldn't be better if we had

(00:41):
Monday to sleep in. Well, one of your congressmen out here is saying
for day work week, we're pushingfor it. Let's go all my people
supporting it. We'll tell you moreabout it. Hit in the second morning
show of six Hammet page number onefor hip hop and R and B.
As you know, today is aspecial day. Yes, we definitely told

(01:03):
you last week. We have amajor announcement coming up at seven thirty this
morning for Summer Jam twenty twenty four. We all back and we're gonna look
for a winner as soon as wemake this announcement too, so be around
for it again. Some a gymannouncement coming up at seven thirty this morning,
and some free tickets. What's goingon with the news biz, Let's
go ahead and get into it,descid and let me get one of the
good claps. Let's go ahead andtalk about the option of this four day

(01:27):
work week. Now. I knowwe've teased it a couple of times,
but now it feels like it couldbe getting closer. You know, if
you didn't already know, Senator BernieSanders went ahead and proposed a thirty two
hour work week with no loss ofpay for all American workers. Is calling
this bill the thirty two Hour WorkWeek Act. Now, this thing,
of course, got dropped on thelapse of Congress in March, so they

(01:49):
are in there voting for it onCapitol Hill. And they went ahead and
did a poll asking a lot ofyounger folks. Definitely in the work field,
if we had a four day workhow do you feel about it?
Over eighty percent of these workers saidthey feel it would improve productivity. The
American workforce feels extraordinarily overwhelmed, underappreciated, disrespected, and they work harder than

(02:15):
almost any other workforce in any placearound the world. Sounds my life,
Like my life, this job iscushy, but it ain't you know,
to keep it going and you know, be out there with the people like
we did for the prom this weekend. So I'm definitely working hours and I
ain't getting paid for it. Soa day off would be an amazing thing.

(02:35):
You know what I'm saying. DonParker probably are our boss to chasing
it would be like, oh,you guys, you guys are gonna track
for Monday. So there that is. We're gonna figure it out, right,
But not getting up if or nothaving a report to the office.
I mean, a lot of peoplestill enjoy that luxury because they're working from
home anyway. Still a lot ofpeople. But yeah, I mean they're
saying in productivity would increase. Yeah, So we'll see what happens and if

(02:58):
it passes all the way through,do the right thing. Congress, help
us. Yes, there's a signon the top of the building. Help
help now God big news for yourclap two times. Let's go ahead and
talk about what PG and E hasgoing on. Man, Now, we
all know they're pushing to make Californiamore electric, I guess based and charged.
We know California's looking to go greenwith a lot of these vehicles by

(03:21):
twenty thirty five. And looks likejust the other day the California Public Utilities
Commission made a big vote to dojust that in all homes. They're basically
saying that we are gonna be payingfor whether you use it or not,
these rand new devices that will helplower the rates for all of our electric
car drivers. Yeah, it's likeyou're paying for everybody else everybody and you
may or may not get one,but in the meantime, you're gonna add

(03:45):
this fee onto your pill. Yes, and they're in crete. You know,
they're saying that they are encouraging moreuse too. So I don't know
if that's after you get the newequipment or before. It sounds like a
setup to me do but they're saying, like for people like me who charge
your card home. They're saying it'sgonna be fine, go ahead and do
it more, or run your ACa little bit more. It'll be all
right. That they are going toreduce prices just a little bit my pennies

(04:10):
though. Yes, and they saidthe initial amount that they asked for for
this new what we would call specialassessment costs would be fifty to seventy dollars
a month. So they're saying they'redoing us a favor by adding on another
twenty five per month starting next yearfor this equipment. Thanks, we're already
getting taxed. Yeah, and youstill got some splinning do, right,

(04:32):
because I don't know how you sixhundred dollars worth of I don't even run
my AC. I'm never home. They just catting off. So we'll see
whatever the flat rate will be thesame amount every month. And this makes
a lot of sense because those infrastructurecosts don't vary depending on how much electricity
you use. We need rate reductionand great relief. This is a tiny

(04:53):
part of it, but so muchmore needs to be done. Yeah,
and they're talking about this won't evengo into place till next year. So
in the meantime they I'll be playingaround with your bill. Feel free to
call and check them on it.Big and sweat clap three times. And
when you talk about Pgeni, ofcourse you start thinking about their influence.
High theyve affected these wildfires out herein the Bay Area. And San Jose
Fire Department is saying, you knowwhat, we need more people to fight

(05:15):
these fires when the season kicks up, because we're almost there, they're looking
for more ladies. So they're actuallygonna be having a women's boot camp out
there coming up this weekend from nineam to two pm in San Jose.
They're gonna have a women battalion chiefout there, so I'm also going to
be entirely women led. And they'resaying, all the ladies who find that
they're interested, go ahead and registerright now. Go to the event right

(05:36):
and check it out. San JoseFire Department Women's boot Camp. We are
out here today to bring awareness towomen and how to become a firefighter.
At the end of the day,our goal is to recruit candidates who reflect
the richly diverse community of San Jose. Absolutely, it's a beautiful thing,
you know what. I talked tothe homide the other day and he told

(05:58):
me that all the fire stations arehigh right now, you know they're getting
prepared for what's coming. Hopefully there'snot a lot, but we know that
shoot battalions from every single county comeout when we have a huge situation,
right, and that's big money.I mean, obviously you're putting your life
on the line a little bit,but there are so many benefits to being
a part of a fire station. So if you ever thought about being a

(06:19):
fireman or a fire person, Ishould say, then go ahead and make
that move. And ladies, thisfree boot camp is really big this Saturday
too, absolutely is again from nineto two out there in San Jose.
This thing is gonna be going downevent right dot com sj FD Women's boot
Camp, go ahead, get you. I might want to go over there
and do it myself, just todo it on the side. I mean,

(06:39):
the workout alone is enough. Mightbe humping and puffing by the but
you know, just to help outif somebody, if they need it,
you know, why not? Allright, we're gonna talk about clouna the
day coming up here in about asecond. How many people got their kids
in private school? Right, becauseyou think it's a huge benefit, right,
you're like, okay, am Ipay this little extra. They're gonna

(07:00):
be smaller classroom sizes, they're gonnaget the education that they need, but
you pay them bills. Then itclosed. Say what we're gonna talk about
it? Coming up, Clown ofthe Day, Clown of the Days.
Up next, it's six thirty fiveMorning Show, six point one cam out.
I think that was the case fora lot of people over the weekends.
Signed that g want to show oncami Ls. You go sign it?
What's up? Then again, ourshow was drunk. Hello, I

(07:24):
got a video of your boy Dtwo at the Grown Folks prom talking to
the ladies that were dressed up intheir cowboy outfhare. Oh man, it
was dope. Man. A lotof people came out dressed up for our
Evening under the Stars Grown Folks Prom. It was our first ever. We're
for sure we're gonna do it everysingle year because it was an amazing event.
Man. Ladies came out just intheir mermaid sequin gowns. Yeah,

(07:48):
so this is what happened to me. Huh right, Because remember I told
you I was waiting for my dressto come in, yeah from that thing.
Yeah, so I put it overmy bottom half because I was like,
Okay, if it fit's right there, it's gonna fit everywhere else.
Okay, ain't no zipper right there, all right? Yeah. So when
I tried to put it over mychesticles area, okay, it was a
little snug and my daughter and Ayahad left me to go to a basketball

(08:11):
game, so I had to puta wire in the zipper loop to try
to pull it up by myself. When I tell you, I was nearly
in tears trying to get it overmy chest area because I'm not small of
top. I'm gonna tell you that. Yeah. And I finally got it
up. I was like, okay, cool, I can finish getting ready.
And it was sequin from neck tothe floor. Yeah. The zipper

(08:33):
opened up in the middle, soI was like, well, plan me
here. We gotta be ready forthose malfunctions, right. I was telling
some of the volleyball moms like, dang, it broke on me or whatever.
That's what you get for paying fiftyeight dollars for a dress. Don't
mad because I'm frugal, but Ithink I probably just should have gone a
size up because you know, whenthey come from overseas, they're a little
snug. Yeah, so anyway, not anticipating that, but I had some

(08:58):
kind of random dress and then Ifell back when we came to the event
and all the ladies like were inactual prom dresses, and I said a
little some on the mic. Iwas like, man, my dress broke.
But I'll explain that on Monday,so there's the explanation on that.
But y'all looked so amazing and beautiful, like it was just very I was
so impressed. I was too witheverybody who came out, Like it looked

(09:18):
like an actual prom in there. It was dope. It definitely was a
full turn up. Shout out toeverybody that slid through. I talked to
some folks. There were some youknow, new parents. They were like,
man, we got a baby atthe house. Yeah, only about
my little man's about four months. So it's the first time we've been out
at all. We came from SanJose. I said, I appreciate y'all
the slide and it was like, were about to turn up tonight. Oh
man, clearly everybody was there forthe for the good times. Man.

(09:39):
Alex Jones had the place rocket, you know what I mean. Shout out
to all the players that broke outnice you know blazers and all the hard
souls and you know what I'm saying. Even saw some red bottoms in there.
It was definitely a good time. They were swag surfing right came on.
I thought the floor was gonna playout all right, what and then
ov O was going crazy like let'swas on point with the music. Hennessy

(10:05):
backed us up on this. Wecrowned the king and the Queen. We
didn't have no crowns though. Wegot to meet about that with the promotions
that it made no sense to me, but whatever, I was like,
we'll fix that for next year.Yes, but they were a beautiful couple.
They had their first dance out andblessed them with a gift bag from
Hennessy. Of course, Lake Chaletand iHeartRadio, So I mean it was
just dope man in general. Sowe appreciate all the love and the support

(10:30):
for this event and we're hoping todo it bigger and better next year.
They no lies. There definitely wasa good time and warm my heart em
talking out. Shout out to everybodythat came through, because all y'all got
a chance to get that any Rita, so you know, it was a
heat field time in the village. It definitely was a good trus being right
there on the water. It's abeautiful view of Oakland from right there,
so it was just a much neededgood time, I think for a lot

(10:52):
of people. You know, it'sfire one o day, so the whole
lake was lit up. There wasthings going on all over the place.
So yeah, shout out to everybodywho came. So you can check all
the pictures and the coverage over thereon the website at kmeal dot com.
Definitely was a turn up. Man, let's get ready to talk about this
clown of the day there though signof g I mean, you sent your
daughter to private school for a time, right just for a second, but
they couldn't get it together, soI was like, okay, public school

(11:15):
of work. I mean, itstill was better than what the hell this
school did out there in the EastBay. Oh my god, took mad
advantage of these parents. We're gonnatalk about the clown of the day for
the baby coming up next straight sixpoint one. I hope you didn't have
your babies at this private school overthere and knew it. Knew Horizons school

(11:41):
out there private elementary school that didK through eighth grade. It says,
where your children developed the love oflearning. Right. The owner and principle
of this thing, Victor Dawson, went ahead and filed for Chapter seven,
but only after he collected the nexttuition from all the parents and then dipped

(12:01):
out on them. There gebiz Yeah, Apparently a couple months ago he told
these parents, hey, if youguys want to go ahead and maybe get
a little discount on your tuition, you can pay early for the next semester.
They said, about twenty parents endedup paying this fourteen thousand dollars tuition,
which was just around two hundred andfifty k. Next thing they know,
boom, hey, y'all school closing. They said. He sipped out
a couple of emails right asking forthe money and then trying to explain what

(12:26):
was going on or whenever, andthen out of nowhere, poof guy disappears
and the parents are like okay. Then the next thing you know, the
doors closed on the school and they'repulling up to drop their kids off,
and they're like, okay, wait, nobody's here. Some of the parents
were like, our babies were crying. It was just an ugly scene.
We were shocked about two months agowe abruptly found out that some teachers were

(12:50):
not being paid. We found outthat like the lease had not been paid.
You were supposed to get paid today, all ob checks. But I've
checked my coun nothing soon. Hundredand fifty thousand dollars is what he ended
up running off with before he filedfor bankruptcy. And they don't even know
if they're going to see their moneyback. Yeah, the California Department of
Laborer is trying to go ahead andfigure out what to do with these unpaid

(13:11):
wages for these teachers and staff. But this is just diabolical clown of the
day. You only clown is aclown. Clown clowns all day. Clown
man, a clown caught his littlebailout. He was like, I'll be
all right on two. It ina fifty in the meantime and then I'll
figure it out later somewhere out inTurks and kkos. Oh babies, Oh

(13:33):
my goodness, Try private school. You know they gotta have some good ones
out there. A newer I'm alittle scared now this is public school glass,
Yeah, did I say private? We're gonna talk about what's good in
the Bay coming up here in justa little bit. Definitely my girl up

the door? Like, are youthat scary? I mean it was terrified.

(20:37):
I don't know about scary. Likethat's putting it mild. No,
I mean there was a bunch ofdude. One of the guys trying to

(21:03):
what your concern is. Right, you know, you should at least speak
to the woman and she's on thephone. Yep, there she is.
Yeah, I don't understand. It'sit's like, okay, so you're new
